Terrible place to stay. The location is pretty nice, but the rooms are not clean or well-maintained. Easy to access the beach pool has never been cleaned. Cockroaches are everywhere, smell bad, and nothing was good. Building is so old and nothing is like in the pictures in their website or booking. But they make sure you leave on time or before. We stayed in one of their so-called best corner ocean view master suite. I can’t imagine how terrible the other rooms are. Really disappointing. Don’t even try to stay there trust the Google reviews.

My friend booked this for us on air bnb. We were on a budget so we thought this place would do but honestly, it was too expensive for what was offered. There were dirty towels, mold and mildew in the bathrooms. Dirty sheets, nothing was clean. Literally nothing! There was a roach in the bathroom as well. Please bring your own towels and cleaning supplies if you have to stay here. Bring your own blanket as well. We did enjoy the tiki bar and the customer service wasn’t bad. They also only have one iron for the whole building! We asked for one and was told that someone requested it and never brought it back. Ridiculous!!! Just tear the whole building down and start over at this point! The wifi is spotty and the TV only had a few working channels. Okay, that’s the end of my review.

This was by far one of the worst stays we’ve ever experienced, and it was completely misrepresented in the listing. The property looks nothing like the photos. The building is poorly maintained, and the unit itself feels neglected and worn out. Everything appears outdated, from the infrastructure to the furnishings. The room carpet is old, dirty, and visibly worn, giving the place an unsanitary feel. We also had serious issues with the air conditioning. There was no temperature control whatsoever—it was only on or off. We were unable to adjust the temperature, making the unit either uncomfortably cold or too warm, with no way to regulate it. We were provided with only two very thin duvets, which is completely unacceptable for a rental of this kind. Getting a decent night’s sleep was nearly impossible. The kitchen was essentially useless. There were no pots or pans at all, making it impossible to cook anything. Booking a Vrbo implies a functional kitchen, and this was clearly not the case. At night, there is no front desk or management available—only a security guard. The guard had no access to any systems, no authority, and no ability to assist with problems, leaving guests stranded if something goes wrong late at night. This lack of support is unacceptable and raises serious concerns about guest safety and service. Overall, this property is misleading, uncomfortable, and unacceptable. It does not meet even the most basic expectations of a Vrbo listing.

A great location on the strip with Miami Beach to one side and the inland waterway to the other. Plenty of good restaurants within walking distance, and of course ideal for taxis to take you a bit further, like down to the South Beach area or Ocean Drive. Better yet, a free trolley bus runs up and down Collins Avenue all day long and late into the evenings, with stops right outside the apartment complex. There’s a good pool and a Tiki-style bar, both located right alongside the ‘boardwalk’ path that runs alongside the beach for several miles. The lounge area and bedrooms are large. Our two-room suite on the 12th floor had one room with two large double beds; the other with a single large double bed - both with en-suite bathrooms. We had a view to the west over the waterway - and facing the sunset. For our four-night trip, the apartment was absolutely fine. I’ve knocked one star off as the kitchen, while large, is under-equipped if you really want to self-cater. We didn’t do that, but a couple more mugs and at least one teaspoon would’ve been nice! As a Brit, I like regular cups of tea.

Google
This hotel was filthy. The staff was extremely rude and unprofessional. The bathrooms in the lobby area had no toilet paper and were not cleaned throughout the entire 2 day stay. The walls in the room were gross and we found 2 cockroach. 1 in the closet and one running across the bedroom night stand. There was a full pot of coffee in the kitchen from the previous guest. We were not allowed to check in even though they told us we could. They did let us in even a minute before 4:00. I had a special needs son with me and asked the desk for a tissue and they would not give us one for his nose. They are supposed to treat us as guests but instead we were treated like a bother! Never again!

Breanne P.

Google
Pictures online were nothing like the actual place or view. The condo needs an update and thorough cleaning. Front desk staff weren’t very helpful and if you need anything after 4:00 pm, you have to wait until the next day.

Google
Unfortunately, our experience at this hotel was deeply disappointing due to the unacceptable behavior of one of the staff members. During our stay, an employee shouted at my wife on two separate occasions, which was shocking, disrespectful, and completely unprofessional. There was absolutely no justification for raising his voice, especially toward a guest. This kind of treatment made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome, and it is far from what one expects from a hotel that claims to offer quality service and hospitality. Respect and courtesy are basic standards in the hospitality industry, and sadly, in this case, they were not met at all. Because of this incident, we would seriously reconsider staying here again and cannot recommend this hotel unless management takes responsibility and ensures proper staff training and supervision.

Google
I’m giving them a 5 star because at the end of the day this location is IDEAL for beach lovers! The beach area and access is amazing!!! The staff is super friendly and respectful as long as you treat them with respect back! With that being said; Do not come here expecting the Hilton or anything like that! The apt are nice but they are NOT perfect! So get over the fact that you might see some rust or some other things here and there! I rented this place for its prime location and that did not disappoint! The staff is accommodating and extremely helpful SO give them a chance and stop complaining! You’re RIGHT ON THE BEACH!!! GO ENJOY IT!

Yelp
We stayed here a coupe of days before we were to go out on a cruise. Most of the reviews were spot on. The place is very old and outdated and in need of some serious renovations. The women that were working the front desk were awesome. They were friendly and helpful. The other staff....not so much. They have some armed security guards walking around that were running a tight ship. I don't think they needed the guards to be armed or at least not open carrying. People rare on vacation here and the guns all out kinda kills the vibe. At least not have the armed guards dealing with guest. And that is a lot coming from me. The internet at the place is very spotty and the internet is not much better. Cell phone service is also not the best here. The place is confidently located off of the beach and boardwalk though, which is nice. You get two and only two beach chairs with your stay. They strictly enforce that. You will also find a very small ground with a tiny wood jungle gym with monkey bars and swings, and a plank. The pool area is adequate. Half of the chairs are old wooden ones that are pretty busted. There are also some day beds that you can rent for $350....no thank you. The pool area has a small tiki bar that serves limited cocktails and daiquiris with and without alcohol. I was not a fan of the drinks. You get a voucher for towels which you get one towel per voucher and can only swap it out once per day. They are strict on the towels too. They did not have any flotation devices at the pool and had some pretty ratty toys available in a large white bin by the place you get the towels from. They have a decent gym and tennis court on site, but the tennis court is currently being converted to a pickle ball court. They also have a a large picnic are next to the playground with artificial grass and picnic tables. There is parking available, but that is extra. Check-in time is 4PM and they pretty much hold true to that. It is rare to get an early check-in and there is not much to do in the area. There are really no restaurants within walking distance and there on site one is only open Thursday to Sunday. Also, you are not allowed to use the facilities such as the pool or beach until you check in. So, we ended up just sitting in the lobby watching our iPads. They do not have washer ad dryers in every room. There is a laundry room on each floor of the hotel for joint use. They have a deep sink and a couple of washers and dryers in there. The machines do not take coins or credit cards though. You must either purchase a card from them for $5, with a $10 minimum put on it for a total of at least $15 or use an app. That is a rip off if you ask me. On a positive note, the washers and dryers are reasonable priced. The rooms are sufficient, but they are old as I mentioned, most of the rooms have a balcony with a nice view. There are televisions in each bedroom and the living room. Utensils, dishes,, and cookware are provided and they have a refrigerator, stove, dish washer and microwave. They do not have dish soap, or paper towels. The floors are laid with some nice tile. There is no carpet, which I understand and like, being that it is a beach resort. They do provide bath towels, bath soap, toilet paper, and shampoo. You do not, however, get room cleaning services during your stay. I called down to have dishwasher soap and some batteries for one of the remotes to be sent to the room. It never came though. So I ended up walking down to the front desk and they were very apologetic and gave me a few dishwasher soaps and called maintenance to bring me some batteries to my room. I never did get the batteries and had to use the remotes from the other televisions to work the television. If you end up on the street side, it will be kind of old starting early in the morning because the cars driving by are loud and always honking. It made it hard to sleep. Pool/ocean side is probably better. I find it odd that the front desk closes at 11PM. I guess it is more of a condo or resort and less of a hotel. My littles enjoyed it here and this place served it purpose. I probably would not stay here again due to it like of organization, out dated facilities, Gestepo-like staff and vibe, being so far away from places to each and things to do, and lack of follow up and support.

Yelp
Was ok at check in til I got to parking in the basement is very tight for suv and pick truck There is water sitting everywhere got my shoes wet every time. No carts from the garage for luggage There is a sign saying there is a risk of high tide water come. I got scared imagine Don't think there a breakfast. Is horrible Horrible cleaning. Had to change room Looks everything old To finish up old furniture We got like kick out in the morning of the check out a loud voice yelling for us to leave immediately or gonna charge extra I was frustrated and mad. To be in Miami and closed to the beach Better drive 20 minutes that stay in this place again My reservation was thru booking .com I couldn't leave a review there. Thanks for YELP

Yelp
Horrible Experience. We booked 2 rooms for 11 guests. Upon arriving we found the space to be infested with small roaches and black mold. Since we planned on cooking in the "fully stocked kitchen" we were quite disappointed (not to mention there were 3 of each plate, fork, cup, mug etc. which is obviously not enough for the amount of guests. In addition, our keys did not work and we had to use a physical key between the 6 guests in each room. We requested maintence multiple times for the roaches and key situation but to no avail. This has been a deeply upsetting situation and the host was unresponsive the entirety of the stay. Do not trust the cheap price-- TRUST ME ITS NOT WORTH IT.

Yelp
unit 6E is definitely not up to par for the amount of money their requesting. 1. The living room there is no privacy via window all the blinds are missing. 2. The carpet single bed room smells like pee, very strong pee smell. 3. Both showers have black mold and excessive erosion located on the shower heads and sink heads. 4. Majority of the towels aren't clean they have orange stains (Cheeto stain look to them) we had to go spend money on towels. 5. The kitchen utensils (pans) were used and not washed still have food crumbs in them. 6. There is no cover on the mattresses to protect the beds from bed bugs. 7. There are cum stains located on the side of beds 8. The curtains have horrible huge stains that is holding a horrible smell in this room. All in all this is looking like a real uncomfortable unpleasant stay thus far so I would like to know what's going to happen about all of this.

Yelp
terrible!!!!!!! this place is the worst, will not stay here again. paint is chipped everywhere, building is old and falling apart and rusty everywhere. heat does not work, turn heat on and somehow the room gets colder. you also cant get towels or washcloths after 4pm, so if you have a late check in, you better wash your cheeks before you get here. don't the let the fact that its close to the beach distract you from the rundown motel.

Yelp
Beautiful Unit. Spacious and comfortable. Pool staff and front desk attentive. Beautiful views. Great ocean front. Clean and updated kitchens and bathrooms. Garage parking on site.

Yelp
AVOID!! ROACH ALERT!!! We found roaches in our room so that's nice. Also, carpets have really weird bleach stains and smoker invested wall linings. Rips in the bedding. Nothing here seems clean or maintained properly, like they only do the minimum. There's a lot wrong...Keep in mind this is not a cheap place to stay...

Cathy W.

Yelp
Hideous does not even begin to cover the hateful and rude manner in which we were treated. I was spoken to as though I was a very slow second grader with mental disabilities. Bugs in the room, no one cares! Horrid place. Horrid people. Security sat at the desk all night watching something on the computer and eating. Do not stay here. The photos on the website are not accurate. No one will answer the phone number given for complaints or to seek an adjustment for your bill.

Janet R.

Yelp
This place was horrible. We got 2 washcloths and 3 towels for 3 of us for 3 nights. The bathrooms were not clean. The pool gave you 1 tiny towel per adult. The restaurant was never open and there was nowhere to get coffee. The beds had 1 sheet on them and no comforter. The furniture was stained and in horrible condition. We couldn't wait to check out. Our fire alarm we G off and they said they would send someone immediately but it took 45 minutes...meanwhile alarm going off. I would never go back. This place was listed in VRBO but is really a rundown hotel with no amenities.

Ellen H.

Yelp
Definitely need to do some updating and fixing up..The staff at the front desk was patient and helpful. The building was clean. Aside from that the restaurant is barely open, even for coffee in the morning. The pool area and rooms definitely need updating with mold in bathroom, needed a painting, rugs stained, nails sticking out at pool area. With little food available in the area the trolley is right outside the hotel but they need to expand restaurant hours

Yelp
Liked - Liked - Liked - Liked - Liked - Liked - Affordable space right on the beach. Spacious overall Full Kitchen Living Room Area Beach Facing Balcony, beautiful view I wiped down everything with a Lysol Wipe and it dust free so that was good! Disliked @ Disliked @ Disliked @ Disliked @ Incredibly thin sheets... like so thin that I Instacarted a set of sheets from target because I just couldn't do it! The furniture is definitely worn and shows more because it's all white. This really made me question the cleanliness at first because it made the room feel dingy. But like I said I wiped everything down and none of the wipes were filthy so that was reassuring. Restaurant on site was closed Long wait for check-in

Yelp
Do not stay here. A zero star rating is more fitting than a one star, but that's not an option. Our experience started out with us arriving around 1:45 and checking in with two ladies at the front. As we approached the desk, one of them asked if we were checking in and we said yes. We gave her the last name and before we could finish with the first name, she abruptly said "check in won't be till 4:00pm." My girlfriend and I looked at each other in awkwardness and smirked, knowing that she wanted to make clear that we weren't checking in early. We told her that's fine and we'd wait for a call to check in. At no point, were any hospitable recommendations made to help us pass the time, or to find some food/beverages after arriving. As we were waiting in the lobby, we decided to get some subs delivered, since there was no food on site and nothing was offered until we asked, besides a small market in the hotel next to us. As the food came, we began eating it in the corner and got 3/4 of the way finished, before a security guard came up to us and said we can't eat/drink here and that we'd need to take it outside, in the 80 degree heat, at a picnic table. I was dumbfounded by the guard, as another guard walked past us 10 minutes prior and said "Bon Appetite." I was also confused since the two ladies at the front desk didn't say a word as we walked past them with the food. I told her we'd wrap it up, but we're not going outside. I was also dumbfounded cause the other guard was drinking coke zeros at his little entry desk, while shooting trash paper balls into a trash can. I guess rules just apply to who they choose. We were berated by the same security staff advising we could only fit 4 people at a time on the elevator and could not utilize that elevator with luggage. For luggage, please be advised you have to use the service elevator in a side hallway. Again, we were informed of this by the on site security and not the front desk supervisor that checked us in. The numerous other times we went to the front desk for assistance throughout our stay, we had to stand in line waiting while the front desk supervisor was taking selfies on her phone. We finally got to our room around 3:45pm and that's when we noticed construction was being done above us. It started around 8-9am and finished around 5-6pm, the three days we were there . The windows were covered in paint and there was hair all over the bathroom floor, from previous people. Please be advised we booked a room with an ocean view for an extra cost. The ocean view looked great with all the paint splatters and wires from construction hanging on each and every single window. Sleeping was minimal, due to unaccompanied 18-19 year olds screaming in the hallways with no noise control, and were obviously partying. mornings were impossible to sleep in with the construction. The walls are paper thin and the mattress felt like a mattress you get in a college dorm room. Any potential customers, just know that their cafe closes at 4 pm and room service stops at 2 pm. For a $900 stay, the quality is not up to par and I would recommend anyone to stay far, far away from this hotel and their unkind staff. Their staff needs to be retrained on hospitality and customer service. They make it clear you are on your own. Please do yourself a service and find a hotel that at least offers water. If the refund policy wasn't so abysmal, I would have attempted to leave after the first night and got a room elsewhere. For someone who travels to Miami frequently for events. I will never stay here again, nor recommend it to any guests traveling.

Victor M.

Yelp
The best thing about this place is the location, which is directly on the beach. We rented through VRBO thinking that since we had done that before at another location and had a great experience, this would be a nice experience as well. Nothing could be further from the truth. Our apartment had a small kitchen with no supplies, nothing even with which to clean cups, glasses or utensils after use. The place had ugly mismatched furniture, and is in serious need of fresh paint. The bathrooms had, 2 towels, no hand towels, no washcloths and one gross little bar of soap. The shower did not even have a soap holder shelf. The TV remotes did not work, despite asking for maintenance to come and check on it. We even tried our own fresh batteries but no luck. $777 for 3 nights plus $90 for parking and it will be interesting to see what they charge me for the extra towels and soap I requested. Oh yeah, they took a $500 security deposit. I wonder how much of that I'll actually get back... Do yourself a favor, avoid this dump.

Yelp
The online pictures tell a much different story... We reserved here because it had three beds for our family. Unfortunately, there are so many flaws with this hotel I do not recommend it to anyone. The hotel is old and so out dated but the pictures must show it when it was in its prime 50 years ago, or they've been touched up. The elevators do what they want and we rode one for about 10 minutes just trying to get to the parking garage. Our first night we didn't have any way of cleaning ourselves because there were no towels or wash cloths. The front desk told us house keeping has left for the day and we had to wait until tomorrow. We were hot and sweaty from the day's activities. The bathrooms are gross with previous occupants hair in the shower and need refinishing. The beds are hard and the pillows are so lumpy that they don't even fill out a whole pillow case anymore. The living area of our two bedroom apartment had little seating; not enough for all of us. The TV in the living area was so small we had to move the chairs closer to really see it. Again, nothing like the pictures online of the room. The pool area is the same as the rest of the hotel: gross. Online it looks more like a Vegas style pool with cabanas and lounge beds but everything is falling apart and I wouldn't rent one of them if my life depended on it. We called for a late check out and were told check out was 11. At 10:20am someone was knocking on the door telling us to get out. We were given the wrong I formation when we called. Just overall a bad experience. Anyway, find somewhere else to stay, the money spent on this place was a waste.

Blake S.

Yelp
Place was awful, only redeeming thing about this place is definitely the view you get on your balcony, other than that we had a room of 5 and they only gave us ONE towel. When we first showed up at 11 and checked in they took eight hours to clean our room and get us checked in, a room where the beds weren't even made. When we asked for more they said the only way they'd give us another is if we brought the old one back so the entire time we were only allowed one towel for the whole weekend for FIVE people, do the math I don't think it makes sense either. Also a lot of unnecessary charges. Wish they would've taken us to dinner and dressed us pretty first before they screwed us and our experience, don't go here customer service sucks.

Mick W.

Yelp
The place is a dump. Old and tired and not what I paid for in a on the beach hotel. Pealing paint on the walls and scratchedwood and patched holes in the wall. A dump. Never again.

Yelp
After a month at staying at Sea Coast Suites, I'm finally ready to give a review. Let me start by saying that you get what you pay for. We checked in with security on a Friday night at 11pm. We had a room on the 6th floor ocean front facing the pool. The overall building is old with major structural issues visible from the outside. The photos look decent but the 2 bedroom suite we had was an old beat up apartment with dingy carpets, cracks and stains, with paper thin walls. Everything was sketchy. However, the AC blew cold air, the kitchen serves purpose, and the balcony was a nice view. The living room was spacious but these suites/apartments are maintained with very little care or cleanliness. The parking garage was scary but secure I guess because you needed your room key to go in/out. The blinds in each room were old and beat up, torn. The beds were beyond its useful life. But we didn't stay in the room the whole trip. The short walk to the beach is also a great plus. Oh honorable mentions: wifi is kind of spotty and the suite above us partied all night and you can hear everything going on. I believe Maya was staying above us on the 7th floor and might have needed narcan at 5am. Just saying. I wasn't trying to be hyper critical but what I paid for is why I gave 3 stars.

Yelp
Terrible awful and rude! I've never seen so much mean and rude faces in my life. the security guard (women) was very nasty to me and my family! it was pouring and thundering, my kids were scared wanted to go inside! She yelled at us to cover up immediately! She would give me a second to clear my hands! followed us to the elevator to tell me again! I said ok I will relax. she says if you dont want to follow the rules, puts her hand on her gun. I was like what? she was going to shoot me if I didn't cover up right away! looked like a threat to me. I will contact my lawyer about this. uncalled for! I felt like I was in prison not vacation!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS DUMP! no place for your family! dont bring your kids here. It was also filthy and service was terrible if you need towels! Just forget it. So much more!‍

Yelp
Terrible hotel, dirty, bad service, no housekeeping. Rude staff! Don't stay here. Não fique nesse hotel, sujo, velho e cheio de frescura. Aluguei um quarto com duas suítes e estava em 3 pessoas, nem a cadeira da praia eles quiseram liberar para mais de duas pessoas. Mantenha-se longe.

Dionne P.

Yelp
This hotel is a NO GO! Where should I begin... the rooms are not as described nor are the pictures accurate. They charge $500 deposit and $256 resort fee ... the pool and the seating was nasty, there was no housekeeping, very little English speaking staff, the dining chairs within the unit were dirty and broken (they replaced at our request). The parking garage is $40 per day. Just do your research!!! This location was booked by our travel agent, and unfortunately she was unaware of the poor reviews provided for this location. *The restaurant in the hotel had a good breakfast and the staff were very accommodating to our needs. She brought out our food as it was done, which allowed us to have hot food. She mentioned having two cooks, one from Cuba and the other Haiti. They cooked good food.*

Yelp
The view from the ocean front is great from the dining room, once you get passed the concrete between the hotel and the pool. It is pretty clean. The style is Art Deco on a college students budget. Stunning that it is fully booked. The white couches are worn and sticky discolored pleather, or "vegan leather". The two sides chairs are nice, but they are side chairs, not for sitting comfortably to read a book or watch TV. Which is inconsequential because the TV is 32 inches, wouldn't be able to see it. So a nice view but no where comfortable to sit and enjoy it. The biggest issue, is the "master" suite. A Desk, no TV, no accessible electric outlets. The worst bed I've ever slept in, as hard as a rock with crappy pillows to ensure that you get up cranky and extra mad. The bathrooms are 6 feet in height which I don't understand when the rest of the suite has 8 foot ceilings. At over $800 a night, not even a cup of tea or drop of water included. Clean, and pretty, but quite deceiving, zero for comfort and hospitality. Stick to professionals in the hospitality buisness who have a name and reputation to preserve. Getting time off is very difficult enough, but paying to be uncomfortable, is unbelievable. Booked through Expedia, attempted to transfer to Hilton Miami, same expense for 2 rooms. Our stay is non refundable, Expedia apologized, and offered a $50 coupon for inconvenience.

Yelp
Do not I repeat do not waste your money its not worth it.The hotel needs so much help for starters no maid service I called the front desk to get towels and was told that they had none available and that they were going to wash and dry some and bring some up.The furniture is damaged and old there was big gap under the front door causing air and whatever else into the room. When I arrived to the hotel upon checking in I was told to my luggage on the service elevate. In the room I was assigned had paint all over the outside windows .This hotel is very very misleading management was extremely rude and had no explanation for my concernes.

Yelp
DO NOT COME HERE ! Paid $1.500 to have rude customer service in the lobby bell boys didn't take my stuff up to my room no valet. Dirty a** hotel that looks cheap!!! interior looks like Ross & don't forget the filth that these lazy people can't seem to clean like lamp shades blinds and tore up carpet. DON'T get me started on this horrible hotel . Not worth the money your better off finding a motel 6 at least they give u coffee in there rooms unlike here. Only good thing is the view but definitely not worth any money

Kathy H.

Yelp
Motel 6 would be an upgrade to this place - MOLDY and not as advertised. HORRIBLE hotel! I don't even know where to begin, but if you have ever seen Schitts Creek, then know that would be an upgrade as well. First, the rooms are NOTHING like the photos on their website. The photos have been brightened so that you don't see the many imperfections. The staff is not great, and the amenities are completely lacking compared to even basic hotel standards. The odor of mold and mildew is overwhelming, and evident throughout much of the property. Unfortunately, none of the windows have screens, so opening them resulted in tons of mosquitos, but it's better than the coughing and watery eyes that you will get from the mold. The building is in serious disrepair, with peeling paint, cracking walls, exposed spalling of concrete, dirty and poorly maintained. The furniture is modern, but dirty, falling apart, and not clean. Beds are uncomfortable and linen is worn and dirty. 1 roll of toilet paper is all you get, and you can't get more. They don't even provide face cloths in the bathroom! Worn, dirty carpet made our socks smell. Paint is mismatched and walls have clearly been patched numerous times. There is a LOT of peeling paint and evidence of mold with standing water in numerous places around the property. Noisy air conditioner did not function properly most of the time. The laundry room is a complete joke. The washers/dryers have instructions to scan a QR code to operate them, but the QR code goes to a pill splicer??? Calling down to the front desk, they said you have to purchase a laundry card, but nothing in the laundry room states this. They said the card is $5, (although the machines state $2 each) so I purchased the card, then was told that was for the card only, and you have to "load" the card with a minimum of $10, so $15 for a single load of laundry advertised as being $4!!!! Kitchen had microwave with plastic that fell off when I opened the door. Button missing from the blender, no soap, scratched and peeling teflon pans....etc. NOTHING is clean, everything is in disrepair and cheap, and this is not a cheap place to stay. Private party taking place in pool area resulted in loud music and noise until midnight, making sleep impossible. The restaurant charges $14 for 2 eggs, a hash brown patty (like the ones you get at McDonalds) and a cup of coffee that has clearly sat there for days, it was so bad (worst coffee I have ever had in my life). They don't have basic condiments like honey. The restaurant is dingy and unclean. Not only did this hotel feel unclean, but it felt unsafe as well. Multiple sagging floors, (you actually felt like you were walking downhill in all the rooms), exposed concrete spalling, standing water, rust and general disrepair had us praying the building wouldn't fall down. Please, please, please, do yourself a favor, and go anywhere but here. I find it incomprehensible that this place hasn't been shut down. Worst hotel I have ever stayed at.

Yelp
Seacoast suits is not a place anyone should stay. This is NOT A HOTEL rather more like apartment rentals. There is absolutely no service. They do not provide daily clean towels, daily shampoo or tissue boxes, or any sort of lotion unless you ask for it the day before! And then you have to continue to request for it daily if you want clean towels. You are only permitted one towel per day per person with no exchanging for the pool. You also have to return your towel in order to get another towel for the following day. Failur to do so will result with you not being allowed to have any pool towel without being fined for not returning your old wet pool towel before 6pm. For each beach chair you must pay. You have to open your own umbrella by the pool, the attendant will rudely tell you to do it yourself. This is nowhere you want to spend your vacation. The hotel staff is extremely rude and entitled. The customers are always wrong, and if you dare to question them you will be evicted and I'm not joking I've seen it with my own eyes. The amount of times the police was called was insane. You will have your eyes rolled at multiple times throughout your day from the hotel staff , the pool attendants , as well as the security staff. Many families have been evicted with nowhere to go in the middle of the night, for simply asking the security to help them with their strollers or asking for an extra room key. The security at the hotel had evicted a number of families over our week. Families with children and babies were evicted because their kids were sitting on the cabana chair without permission, or for having an extra beach chair without their permission. Stay away from sea coast suits if you want to have an enjoyable vacation. Trust me the kitchen and two bedroom suit is not worth the hassle you will have with the staff and security.

Yelp
Don't believe the glorified pictures! The beautiful pictures of the ocean view and the modern looking furniture are super deceiving. It was truly filthy. The first room they gave us had bleach stains all over the carpet and just felt so icky inside. So I asked for a different room, which was only slightly better. The pictures I've attached are from the slightly better room, so you can imagine how bad the first room was! The bathrooms were cheaply updated, but dirty feeling. Chipped tiles, cheap paint over walls that you can tell were poorly patched, dirty baseboards with mold in the corners, rusty door hinges, bath towels are very small and they don't leave washcloths or hand towels. The beds are so hard and uncomfortable and SQEAKY! The bedding smelled so strongly of bleach. The two elevators are slow and small..... there is a service elevator that is slightly bigger. And the underground parking garage is straight out of a bad horror film! The only thing going for this hotel is it's location to being right on the beach. (Which was great and a perfect spot for our family to enjoy without big waves and the sand was nice without rocks). Even though it's a hotel district, it seems there is nowhere to eat around here. The hotel restaurant was closed for the next week. I was really in need of my morning coffee, they provide a coffee maker in the room, but don't leave any coffee, which I didn't realize until the next morning! The layout had some serious potential. 2 bedrooms with 3 beds. 2 bathrooms and a kitchen with a descent size living room. An entire family could stay comfortably here......but they would have to do some MAJOR remodeling to make it feel like it's worth the amount of money they are charging!

Yelp
Wow I don't ever leave reviews but i have been shocked by how horrible this hotel is. Initially reservations was helpful over the phone when we were confirming our reservation and room so that was very appreciated and i made sure to say so. But from the time we pulled in to checkin to the time we left it was not a good experience. Forget the outdated decor and dilapidated suites. The staff at this hotel are some of the rudest people I have ever encountered. I'm willing to give people a pass that maybe they are just having a bad day. But almost every experience our group had with an employee was unfriendly and unhelpful. I'm not sure if they are treated poorly as employees or management just doesn't care - but beware if you plan to book here.

Yelp
Our stay was an agreeable one at least as it applied to the Airbnb listing. We had two suites situated right next to each other (9T and 9S). They were both very modern, mostly clean, and had a phenomenal view from the balcony. The kitchen came fully equipped with cutlery, dishes, a coffee machine, toaster, large refrigerator, microwave, oven, and dish washer. There were three beds and two bathrooms per room. Air conditioning worked its magic and we were actually quite cold during the night at certain points. Even though the rooms were next to each other, there was no adjoining door, so they actually felt pretty far apart. If you can, I would try to get two suites across the hall from each other. It was originally stated that we wouldn't be able to store our luggage before our check-in time, but the bell boys granted us the opportunity anyways and were very patient for our very big and needy group. We needed to access our stored luggage during certain parts of the day, and they made sure to fulfill our requests to retrieve our things. Some of the decor in the hallways and main lobby area could use an update, but it's still functional and I kind of liked that old-timey vibe anyways. The elevators were SMALL and slow. I wanted to "check out" the gym at some point, so I did just that (for 1 hour XD). The front desk was helpful in supplying me with a key in exchange for a room key. The equipment is old, old, and OLD. Like it's not even the cool, let's-pump-some-iron type of gym equipment. It's that crappy kind with white accents. One tread, elliptical, bike, and step machine. Even the one fan was old school (but functional). It was pretty much one set of everything including dumbbells and a barbell. The Smith Machine was weird, but it worked for what I needed it for since there wasn't much floor space for using the barbell. There are no towels for you so do bring your own to wipe up your nastay sweat. They have wipes to disinfect equipment thankfully. The gym gets HOT and some dude actually propped open both doors to let some air circulate, but a worker did angrily close them at some point (and looked at ME like I was the culprit *gasp*). At some point, some of us even ventured over to the pool. The chairs are free game, but if you want a chair out on the beach (a short walk), I think they only give you like two free per room. Any extra is for a fee. I can't remember the cost, but they will regulate since they have some worker dude sitting out there to check. Overall, we had a satisfactory stay! We were a 10 minute Uber/ Lyft ride away from the craziness of South Beach, and felt very content.

Yelp
Very disappointed! The elevators never worked and the place is very old with mildew in the showers. No basic necessities like toilet paper, paper towel, dish soap or usable utensils.

Anna R.

Yelp
In the airport at the moment. Carmen at the front desk allowed us to check out at 11 . We requested a noon checkout and she said we would be charged $181.00if we stayed passed 11 am. I had inquired on Monday when we arrived to check in at 2 and the room was not ready. Check-in was at 4, end of story. The room we were given had a balcony but there was a scaffold lift set up. Workers greeted us upon arrival and the next morning we asked to be moved to another room with a balcony and they did. Long story short- the beach was beautiful. If you want to revel lush room this is not the place for you. Also the restaurant is opened Thursday- Monday, and no one dines there, so you are shopping and keeping breakfast items in the small kitchenette or walking about finding eateries at 9-10 am.

Yelp
Horrible service they were being so mean to us the one and only good employee was Sebastian. The second best room was OK. Showers are a little old, but the overall it's 1 out of 10 room. The pool was nice. The people who were giving out chairs and umbrellas were very mean to us. So do not go to seacoast suite

Yelp
WE DID NOT CANCEL! HOST CANCELLED LESS THAN TWO DAYS PRIOR TO OUR DEPARTURE! 2 months of planning = GONE! Eliminated, destroyed by AIRBNB host! AIRBNB Seacoast suites, Miami Beach, FL - Melissa = HOST: Airbnb - should be called InBBM (Inconvenient n Bad Business Model)! Peeps, has this ever happened to anyone? You plan months in advance. You receive numerous confirmations and reassurances as well as paying in full. Following weeks of waiting, you/your family are making final preparations for travel. I am at work, and I am unable to focus this week due to excitement surrounding VACATION! Then, in the middle of a meeting in a mid-week workday, you get a text from your wife, and she is in tears saying that the HOST with AIRBNB has canceled our itinerary less than two days prior to departure and our money will be refunded in 15 days! Oh Joy! Do I need to say anything further? By the way, Airbnb does offer "rebooking" assistance even if they do not provide you with a reason behind the cancellation. I can only assume that maybe the booking is no longer available... good to know when we are less than two days away. I cannot even begin to express my shock, my disgust at Airbnb's practice. Oh, rest assured that the HOST will be penalized for cancelling the reservation! Whew! I feel tons better now! Well thank you Airbnb, for making our first visit to Miami, Florida, a trip to remember. Please know that we will no longer participate in your exemplary business model. Feel free to cancel trips at Airbnb's Hosts' discretion without any thought towards your customers and how pleasing such an instance will be in their lives. It does make for a memorable experience; one we would love to forget! Oh, we can't because our travel plans were made two or more months ago! Airbnb = dreams certainly get pissed ON! Also, AIRBNB customer relations has not tried to resolve or provide some form of concession for the trip the AIRBNB HOST cancelled.

Yelp
We came here in January and the location of this apartment complex is on the beach and is equipped with an outdoor pool as well. The apartment that we got, off of Airbnb, was very similar to the photos posted on that site. Just make sure you realize, if it says city view, it could be facing the building next door and the garbage alley! Ours was right next to the garbage pickup and was annoying, but overall we were very happy with the apartment. Now some say the rooms were not remodeled, however, I was informed by the front desk, that as of the date of this review, floors 3-11 have all been remodeled. The front desk staff was very nice and pleasant. The Wi-Fi service works, but at times can be horrendously slow. There is also a separate Wi-Fi connections for the pool area, that uses the same credentials that they provide you with. At the time that we came, there was a large group of kids running through the halls at all hours of the night making tons of noise. We try to be understanding and ask them to quiet down, but at 3 AM, I had to say something to the front desk. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

Yelp
We had a lovely stay at the Seacoast Suites in an Airbnb that was two units next to each other (9E and 9F). Our suites were clean, well furnished, and clearly recently renovated. We weren't there for much other than to sleep, but found everything we needed right there. Our only check-in complaint is that they insisted on bringing our bags up to us, which we needed immediately for showers to make a dinner reservation, and the bags didn't show up for over an hour and after a few calls checking on the status. I wish they had just let us get our own bags. The lobby is beautiful and the pool and beach area are very nice. Don't lose the towel rental card they give you or you get docked $15 - actually, they seem to try and squeeze money out of you everywhere. $15 to have a chair on the beach, $16 for a weak, frozen drink, probably $1 million to have an umbrella on the beach. If you do not require these things, you are in luck. The location was great for our bachelorette party - far enough away from south beach that we could actually get some sleep, but close enough where the ubers weren't crazy expensive. Construction started each morning promptly at 8 AM which was a little frustrating, but we can sleep when we are dead.

Yelp
Horrible experience.. im here for 4 nights it's only day 2 & im wanting a refund. Property is vastly outdated.. tv is maybe a 25 inch no bigger than my ipad. U can tell they've never renovated paint is bubbling up. Shower rod fell as soon as i touched it. The ocean view room was not available when i got here. I feel like I'm at days inn im literally paying 1000 a night! The plumbing sucks when u turn on water the pipes SCREAM. I ask for towels 3 times they never brought them. The phone in room don't work. I can go on & on!!!!

Yelp
We booked here for one night to catch a flight from Miami airport. This place is half hotel half apartments. The pictures make it look nice but it is in desperate need of a renovation. The lobby is very dark and sketchy looking. They didn't even have the lights. The pool deck is very torn up and old. Our room was big we had a two bedroom suite and nice ocean view. The beds were comfortable. But our shower in the front bathroom did not get hot water at all. Two TVs didn't work and also the hair dryer. The kitchen has all the amenities with coffee pot and toaster etc. you have to supply your own coffee. I wouldn't recommend staying at this place.

Yelp
The rooms and floors vary greatly. Our group had two rooms and one was significantly nicer than the other with updated bathroom renovations and better furnishing. The lesser room was in need for renovations and I wouldn't want to stay in that room again if I came back. The hallways on the floor also vary greatly. Ours was not renovated and had very nasty stains all over the carpets. Our rooms were also very damp and towels could never dry. All in all you get what you pay for. It's a good price to stay here for a larger group wanting suite style rooms and also on the beach. They also have a mini market in the hotel that came in handy. They also take awhile to return your $300 deposit. It's been 2 weeks since my stay and I have yet to receive it.

Yelp
This is the first time I Have EVER felt the need to review a place before simply because I need to state how disgusting this place is. I've been here for 2 days and this place is already by far the most awful hotel I've ever been to in my life. I am here on spring break and the staff has been treating us with nothing but disrespect. There are 6 girls staying in our room and our room only had 4 towels. The minute we got into the room we called for towels and there was no answer. We called maybe 3 more times, still no answer. We had to go downstairs to the front desk only to be met by a woman screaming at us for simply asking for towels. (Not to mention I had to sit for 10 minutes waiting for the elevator to open on the 11th floor.) the housekeeping did not come the next day to clean our room while we were out so once again we had to call and ask for towels. I think I sat there for 20 minutes trying to contact the front desk. Keep in mind I had already gone in the shower and had to get out to call. Since there was no answer after sitting there with a wet T shirt on I had to go downstairs to the front desk again to ask for towels and the lady at the front desk was extremely hostile and rude. One night, some of my friends staying in another room for went out for the night only to come back at 3am to find out that they were getting evicted. This place is leaving a bunch of 18 year old kids to find their own place to stay at 3 AM AT NIGHT. This is so disgusting because it's a bunch of teenage girls In short skirts and dresses that they aren't even allowing to enter the building to change their clothes. These girls had zero reason to be kicked out as they had done nothing wrong. I am absolutely outraged by the behavior of this staff and as I mentioned, I have only been here for 2 days and this hotel has officially made me hate Miami. Don't try to save your money, go to any other hotel. The holiday inn is better at this point. Also a few more little things, they don't take your luggage up to the room, they make you bring it to a musty and dirty little storage closet yourself and then come back and get it yourself when you need to go up to your room. We were told we are getting a couch bed but there was not one when we came in. It smells rancid here for some reason. The locks on our doors don't work at all so anyone in the hotel could enter our room at the slightest of ease without a key. Our bathroom stopped working and maintenance came after many calls and by the time he left it still was not fixed. Later in my stay my shower fell apart and me and the other girls In our room had to fight with the staff to let us shower in another room. There are many more things wrong with this hotel and these are just what I can think of at the top of my head. I wouldn't recommend this "hotel" to my worst enemy.

James L.

Yelp
If you care about your safety, DO NOT STAY HERE. We were just trying to get into our room because the key cards kept giving us issues but instead their staff members decided to not only not help us but SCREAM and CURSE at us for 10 minutes while touching their PISTOLS and THREATING us. It was so bad we were afraid to leave the hotel for the rest of our trip. We reported it to hotel management who did nothing and didn't even act like they cared. So most likely these people STILL WORK at their hotel. Would NEVER EVER EVER stay at this property or any property owned by this company ever again. Attached the images of the 2 individuals, wish I could post the full video.

Yelp
My experience in this hotel was absolutely terrible. From the moment I tried calling to make the reservation. I had to call 24 times before I was able to speak to a person the staff in the front just kept on picking up the phone and transferring me to an extension that nobody would pick up and the voicemail was completely full When we arrived to the property we checked in and began to get ready to go out that evening. My daughter's bed had sneaker stains on them. The towels had orange spots all over them. They looked dirty in order for me to get new towels. I had to give them an exchange the old ones that were in my room, I had to scavenge through the room looking for everyone's towels to be able to be replaced that should not be my job especially if I'm paying to stay there $325 a night when we get back to the property my daughter asked me to please go get her some waterso I go downstairs and there's absolutely nowhere that I can get a bottle of water not complementary nor to even purchase. The floors Do not even have ice machines. I would have to Uber or DoorDash for water. This is an absolute inconvenience and so unnecessary to not provide water for your guests again that are paying $325 a night to stay on the property. I found two dead roaches in the kitchen super disgusting the paint in the room is all chipped and gross. The mirrors are chipped. The showers don't look clean, there's no valet when you park in the garage under the building it feels super unsafe. My son wanted to go to the pool with his little brother so I gave them permission when they get downstairs. They did not want to give my kids pool towels. Apparently I had to pick up this little paper that was laminated so insignificant to give it to the person distributing the towels, and then we have to take the towels back to the person so that they can give us back these little insignificant laminated papers, and I have that laminated paper to the front desk so that they do not charge me for the towels. I understand this from a five star resort which would never happen. A five star resort would never do this but this hotel with the way that their property looks they shouldn't hesitate to give you a towel apparently wearing that tacky green bracelet that they give you in the front desk is not enough for them. I can go on and on however I will stop here. I do not recommend, anybody to spend their money on this property I have stayed at the Eden rock for a much less rate and you actually feel like you're in a resort at the seacoast there is no nightlife. There is no music when you walk into the lobby. it's like you're in the twilight zone again, if it's within, your means to stay in a hotel with your family, do not waste your money on this one this place should be torn down and be rebuild by people who care about their business and about the people who come and stay on their property!! Sad to say if there was negative ratings that's what they would get from me!!!!!

Yelp
Trash. Rude staff, very lazy. Wouldn't check to see if our room was clean prior to 4pm. No honesty or transparency. Overall the facility was dirty.

Yelp
The customer service is not good. The living room was nice but the bedrooms and the bathrooms are disgusting. Outdated and dirty. The beds are squeaky and we found hair in the bed. Do not stay!

Yelp
I call this the NO to everything suites lol. The staff are so lazy and unprofessional I've never seen anything like it. The internet didn't work the ENTIRE STAY the staff's response "try logging in tomorrow" lol. My friend extended her stay literally purchased the same exact room and they wouldn't let her keep the room we were in, I had to check out at 10am and she had to wait until 4pm to check back in. They really frown upon this thing called thinking outside the box, they wouldn't have had to clean the room and while I'm now on the cleaning subject, the place was filthy, I'm including pictures of their "clean" room. The website pictures are VERY misleading, my upgraded "ocean view" was more like a side view of the ocean and of course the staff blatantly lied and said that it was "ocean view" because you could see the ocean from the side when the website clearly stated that it was "deluxe ocean view suite". The view was of the adjacent property and ocean was slightly visible from the side of the building where they put me in.

Yelp
This is by far the worst hotel I have ever booked. We had so many difficult encounters with staff. The customer service is horrible. My friends and I booked a three bedroom suite. We had a total of six girls in the suite. They only provided us with three towels and wash cloths. The staff at the front desk stated that they could not get additional towels or wash clothes until the next day. However the correct amount was never given initially to accommodate us. We ran out of toiletry and was told we could not get any toilet tissue until the next morning. We ended up having to attend to our toileting needs with napkins until one of the girls ran to Walgreens to pick up toilet tissue. When we finally was able to get toilet tissue the front desk staff antagonized us by stating " Apologize first before I get you the tissue." I have never in my life felt so disrespected. The food is disgusting also. We were informed that we had to take out our own trash and we would have to pay extra to have our room clean. One security guard yelled at us in the lobby for trying to take a picture near the beautiful artwork. The only thing this hotel has going for itself are their beautiful rooms. I will never ever recommend or book this hotel ever again.

Yelp
Do NOT Stay HERE. This is by far the Worst place/experience that I have ever had both within and outside of the US. When we arrived and entered the lobby neither the black guy manning the front desk nor the bellhop just inside the lobby acknowledged us. We stood around waiting until finally approaching the counter asking if we could check in. He still hadn't greeted us just asked for our last name. Curious as to why the bellhop never raised his head to offer to help with our luggage, I walked around to see what he was doing and noticed he was reading or playing something on his phone. Meanwhile guy at desk is making us pay upfront prior to our stay plus holding $500 on our card. He tried to only give us 1 room key for 4 grown adults. He said no words to us out side of towels for the pool. We had to ask where the elevator was to get to our room. The room looked pretty good at first glance and spacious. After coming all the way inside the air conditioner was really loud sounding like we were in the boiler room. Carpet in the bedrooms is like a dirty brown. I am not sure they have replaced it. The bathroom seems like they gave it a new coat of paint and replaced the tile on shower walls. There are no shelves in the shower to put soap or toiletries. You have to place them on the floor. The bathroom sinks were slow to drain. The water is either extremely hot or cold. We were only given enough towels for 2 people but when we-requested more it was not a problem It was obvious they attempted to put as little renovations as possible on the place. For two days we were asked not to run the water in the kitchen sink. (This is the only time anyone spoke to us at all during our stay without us initiating the conversation)This is how we discovered they were having sewage issues. The stairway smelled like sludge. The pool was gross and not taken care of as well as the patio. Their was a raggedy corn hole available. We went to the beach to get chairs and true to form the guy just sat and watched us until we approached him and inquired as to how to get one. He pointed to 3 empty chairs. Although we checked in and paid for four adults we could only get 3 chairs. Our last day I went down because I wanted to find the manager to let him know that we had received ZERO hospitality and that no one had spoken to us or acknowledged our presence during our entire 5days spent at property. I ran into a family that said someone had broken into their room overnight while they were sleeping and had stolen their computers and cell phones. The lady at the front desk proceeded to fight and argue with them. At that time I knew that they could care less about how we were treated. The family was devastated and just left the property. Please keep in mind this place was not cheap and we did not get what we paid for. We were excited to checkout and will never return. There is absolutely no hospitality offered at this place. I actually give it zero F-ing stars

Yelp
This place doesn't look like the pictures online. It's falling apart. People at the front desk are rude. I was going to stay for 3 nights but end up staying only for 1 night. They were going to charge me 2900 for 2 nights. I heard people complaining that the balcony was cracking

Sharon H.

Yelp
Poor service! We had 3 bedroom suite. Dishes what we had were minimal. Not enough for 5 to eat from. No cooking utensils, dishwasher didn't work, towels we had to ask for more. Toilet paper so thin and you had to ask for more! Beds extremely hard! Decor outdated, 1 small couch, 2 side chairs. Not very clean, needs painting and cleaning of vents. Only restaurant in building is not open all day. We asked for bottled water even to buy they had none! Elevator very slow. Not at all what we expected! Should have spent a few more $$$ on another choice of place to stay for our 6 days. Only staff member that was pleasant was the door person from Argentina.. super sweet and accommodating!

Yelp
This hotel is disgusting ASF. There was blood on towels , the bathrooms were freaking disgusting smelled like a public bathroom . There was something very weird and bloody on the room wall. The restaurant is closed throughout the week and opens only for a few hours on Thursday - Saturday. The stairs have no cameras and it's very sketchy and weird . They have balcony's but your not allowed to keep the balcony open for some odd reason . You have access to the beach and a chair but have to pay for an umbrella. At 5 pm you have to give the chairs back. Towels for pool are closed by 4:30. You have to pay for them to clean your room. The floors at the bottom of the hotel seem like they don't give much importance. Rooms don't have tvs. And the ones that do are very very small. Couches are broken. Man the list goes on and on . I slept with my clothes on couldn't get a refund. And i paid for the most expensive room and ended up on the 3rd floor. The only nice thing about this hotel is the beach access and pool they have that area nice . STAIRS DONT HAVE CAMERAS ITS VERY SKETCHY AND HAVE HUMAN TRAFFICKING WARNING IN THE BUILDING over heard a couple say they felt extremely uncomfortable there . BEWARE . PLEASE RENOVATE THIS HOTEL THIS IS NOT DECENT. If your someone who is OCD AND likes clean things this hotel is not for you. I wish i took more pictures but i would mostly just sleep and shower for 1 minute and leave the hotel room cause i was disgusted.

Brandon K.

Yelp
this hotel is horrible from the horrible service of the staff to the numerous problems in our room like leaks and unknown liquids coming out of our shower drain I WOULD NOT RECCOMEND EVER COMING TO THIS HOTEL 0 stars
