Yelp
Motel 6 would be an upgrade to this place - MOLDY and not as advertised.
HORRIBLE hotel! I don't even know where to begin, but if you have ever seen Schitts Creek, then know that would be an upgrade as well.
First, the rooms are NOTHING like the photos on their website. The photos have been brightened so that you don't see the many imperfections. The staff is not great, and the amenities are completely lacking compared to even basic hotel standards.
The odor of mold and mildew is overwhelming, and evident throughout much of the property. Unfortunately, none of the windows have screens, so opening them resulted in tons of mosquitos, but it's better than the coughing and watery eyes that you will get from the mold. The building is in serious disrepair, with peeling paint, cracking walls, exposed spalling of concrete, dirty and poorly maintained.
The furniture is modern, but dirty, falling apart, and not clean. Beds are uncomfortable and linen is worn and dirty. 1 roll of toilet paper is all you get, and you can't get more. They don't even provide face cloths in the bathroom! Worn, dirty carpet made our socks smell.
Paint is mismatched and walls have clearly been patched numerous times. There is a LOT of peeling paint and evidence of mold with standing water in numerous places around the property. Noisy air conditioner did not function properly most of the time.
The laundry room is a complete joke. The washers/dryers have instructions to scan a QR code to operate them, but the QR code goes to a pill splicer??? Calling down to the front desk, they said you have to purchase a laundry card, but nothing in the laundry room states this. They said the card is $5, (although the machines state $2 each) so I purchased the card, then was told that was for the card only, and you have to "load" the card with a minimum of $10, so $15 for a single load of laundry advertised as being $4!!!!
Kitchen had microwave with plastic that fell off when I opened the door. Button missing from the blender, no soap, scratched and peeling teflon pans....etc.
NOTHING is clean, everything is in disrepair and cheap, and this is not a cheap place to stay.
Private party taking place in pool area resulted in loud music and noise until midnight, making sleep impossible.
The restaurant charges $14 for 2 eggs, a hash brown patty (like the ones you get at McDonalds) and a cup of coffee that has clearly sat there for days, it was so bad (worst coffee I have ever had in my life). They don't have basic condiments like honey. The restaurant is dingy and unclean.
Not only did this hotel feel unclean, but it felt unsafe as well. Multiple sagging floors, (you actually felt like you were walking downhill in all the rooms), exposed concrete spalling, standing water, rust and general disrepair had us praying the building wouldn't fall down.
Please, please, please, do yourself a favor, and go anywhere but here. I find it incomprehensible that this place hasn't been shut down. Worst hotel I have ever stayed at.
