A store with very poor management and long lines, where you end up wasting a lot of time just waiting to pay—and staff who clearly don’t care at all.
The business owner, in an attempt to maximize profits, keeps an insufficient number of employees, forcing customers to pay the price by wasting their time in long lines. Most of the staff are untrained and treat customers in a way that resembles a third-world business environment.
I live in the neighborhood, and because of these issues, I only shop at this store maybe two or three times a year, and even then only out of necessity. As far as I know, several of my neighbors also avoid shopping there. If you observe the customers in line, most are buying just one or two items, which clearly shows that they too only come here for essential purchases.
If the owner thinks this is a smart strategy, as someone who has run a business for many years, I can tell you—it’s a serious mistake. He is losing a significant amount of potential profit each year.
More importantly, this is not the third world. Here, you’re expected to respect customers and their rights.
