Seafood Japanese food Izakaya restaurant Toranomon Lucky

Easily my best dinner experience during my trip in Japan. Not only because of the DELICIOUS food but because the service was great as well 🩷 so friendly despite the language barrier. We had a lovely time.

Incredible hospitality experience at Lucky. The food is a delicious modern interpretation of traditional fare, prepared in engaging way and visually beautiful. But what really makes the place wonderful are its incredible and welcoming staff with special note of chef Kohei Suzuki who is an absolute rock star. While there are no English menus, the staff went above and beyond to make our party welcome and have a wonderful experience. This new edition is among the best dining in Tokyo.

Lunch time Izakaya vibes and set meal food. You get a lot of delicious food. The salmon is twice portion you’d get at other restaurants and the price includes tea or beer so you get great value. The atmosphere makes you want to come back every day. During lunch rush you place orders and pay ahead of time which makes it a quick service. There is limited quantity of salmon and roe each day so arrive early if you plan to order it.

The food was great and they have a really nice Japanese natural orange white wine by the glass! The restaurant is located on the 4th floor of the building.

My husband and I used this restaurant on a Sunday night. Enjoyed food and drinks for about S$130. The food is very good! Portions are small and you can enjoy a variety. Kohei's wonderful attention to detail made our stay very satisfying.

Fresh and delicious sashimi rice bowl. The lunch set includes salad, soup and a drink. Service is very efficient. Great value for money.

I went for dinner during a business trip. Incredibly friendly staff (shout out to Shintarō) and lovely atmosphere, not to mention the quality of the dishes. Highly recommend, and will be back when I get a chance!

We had a really great time here. There was a shochu event going on and the pairing menu was excellent. The seafood was also extremely fresh and well prepared

1. This place was on TV so expect a crowd. 2. It serves pork products focusing on Katsu. 3. It allows smoking but who cares when food is off the hook 4. The best Menchi Katsu I have ever had - juicy. The Japanese review did not like the crowd that kept him in line until 1300. I beat the lunch rush by coming at 1120. It was full by the time I left. I ordered the Katsu set with a side of Menchi. Because both were on TV. The Katsu was bigger than my face and super thick and juicy. If you come before 1130 you get a onsen tamago special sometimes, awesome on rice. The Menchi was just a flavor blast unlike most dried out hulks I have tried elsewhere. The tables are small and this is the definition of a back alley basement shop. It delivers on price, size, taste, and flavor!
