Seafood shack

Freshly cooked to order, large portions. Ordered the cod basket. Two huge pieces of moist cod with well seasoned coating. Fries were hot and salty. Not greasy. Great price. Definitely want to try other items on the menu.

Now this is fresh, flavorful, and filling. It's worth the price. For my first stop in VA, this place is making the trip worth while. Perfect fries too. Not in the picture.

visited this evening for the very first time and had the Catfish dinner with macaroni and cheese and collard greens. The food was delicious!! The collard greens were tender and succulent. The macaroni and cheese was a creamy and cheesy delight. The catfish was good especially with their own brand of tartar sauce

In town to visit— the hubby and I ordered the catfish nuggets— which were good; the okra— pretty good; Mac n cheese 👎🏾 not very good; collards were good; chicken tenders were over done and the shrimp was pretty good. The atmosphere was nice and clean- service was good as well. Over all, this place was ok.

This place is somewhere we will definitely go back. Quick great food, with friendly helpful staff!

Shrimp wrap and shrimp po'boy are tasty-licious and takeout order was quick. Service crew are friendly & nice.

Technically a 4.5, but good enough to leave a 5 star review. Don't be fooled by the location! The establishment is bright and clean with plenty of seating for guests. Their menu is easy to read, has plenty of variety, and meal prices even include a drink 😁 They have both sweet & unsweetened tea, and refills are self serve. I ordered the crab cake dinner (baked, I believe) and the food did not disappoint! The crab cakes had plenty of meat and went great with the remoulade sauce. The collard greens definitely did NOT come out of a can and were delicately tender (wish they had hot sauce on the tables 😋). I couldn't tell whether the potato salad was made in house, but it was also good nonetheless (I'd added pepper before taking photos). My only complaint is that I wish the meal came with a few hush puppies 😩

I’ve had their catfish, oysters, fried shrimp, and grilled shrimp , all were cooked perfectly and tasted great. The kitchen looked spotless, and the dining area is just as clean. The staff is incredibly friendly and humble. There was a small mistake with one meal, but they were sincerely apologetic and fixed it right away. They seem genuinely grateful for every customer who walks in, which makes the experience even better. This place is a hidden gem tucked away in a shopping center. Support this local business.
