The Best New Restaurants in Dallas, March 2025

"Do you love vinyl records, the 1970s, and fried chicken? Great! This is the spot. Get all the retro vibes you can handle and pair that chicken with some Champagne at this spot in Plano that opened in December, brought to you by the hospitality group behind Suburban Yacht Club. Check it out and see if “you have to believe we are magic/nothing can stand in our way.” If you don’t know that lyric, brush up on your ‘70s lore, geesh." - Courtney E. Smith

The Most Exciting Restaurant Openings for 2024 in Dallas | Eater Dallas

"Chef Anastacia Quiñones-Pittman of Jose: "Seager & Son’s opening excited me this year. The pizza and fried chicken are damn good! And I’m not bias because it’s my husband’s restaurant group. The pizza reminds me of Fireside Pies (rip) and the fried chicken is so tender and crispy!" (Place name redacted in the summary per guidelines.)" - Courtney E. Smith

This was my second visit to Seager & Sons - always a wonderful time! This time we got a Filthy Martini, Crab Rangoon Dip, Half Bird Fried Chicken (the best), & a side of Mac 'n Cheese. During my first visit, we split the All Pep'd Up Pizza & each got a Black Cherry Bourbon Slush (very bourbon forward). Everything is delicious! Service is wonderful & the wait staff is very knowledgeable about the menu! I did not have a reservation for my first visit but we were sat immediately as long as we would be up in an hour & a half for an upcoming reservation, no problem. I did have a reservation for my second visit. I have sat both inside and on the covered patio - both atmospheres were fun! I truly can't say enough good things - I know I'll be back!

I knew I was going to like this place, but I didn’t know that my bf and I were going to have to make a pact to come here every month. The ambiance is amazing. 70s vibes, with 70s and 80s music basically forcing you to sing along for the entirety of your meal (no complaints from me). Service was AMAZING. Our server Essa (I didn’t get the exact spelling, so I hope I’m right) was so attentive and awesome. She made awesome food and drink recs, and even brought us samples of their frozen cocktails. The food was amazing. Best fried chicken I think I’ve ever had. Don’t sleep on the burger though. We were told the chef used to work at The Grape and the burger is the same as their famous brunch burger and it was no lie! So delicious and cooked to perfection. Cocktails weee just as good. The pic I added was the banana bread old fashioned. It was perfection. Every cocktail we had was unique and delicious. Will definitely, absolutely be back.

I had such a great experience at Seaver and Sons! The manager, Dave, was so helpful and welcoming, and our server, Charlie, was attentive and friendly the entire time. We started with the fried mozzarella, which was perfectly crispy and delicious. Then I tried That Burger, and wow, it was amazing! Juicy, flavorful, and cooked just right. Overall, excellent service and fantastic food. Highly recommend checking this place out!

Google
Updated retro- style atmosphere. Food was varied: crab rangoon dip was tasty, double cup pizza was well seasoned with dough not too sweet and cooked just right, burger cooked Exactly medium, with all the regular beers and inventive mixed drinks including zero-proof expertly made! And all of the above was not Overly filled with multiple options. I appreciate the menu was varied but simple. Well be back!

Without going over the top Seager & Sons genuinely has a really good vibe/ambiance. Retro modern? If that’s a thing. Sorta like Ida Claire’s cousin. Music that is just loud enough. Service is friendly and efficient and the food is of the comfort type but elevated. You’ve had better pizza likely, but when put together with service and ambiance this is the type of place that sits solidly in anyone’s rotation for a quality meal.

My boyfriend and I have been looking forward to visiting Seagar and Sons since they opened, and today we finally had the chance. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted so warmly—the hostesses were personable, asked if it was our first time, and even let us choose our seating. After a long, hot morning of golfing, we were craving good food and good vibes, and this place delivered both. Our server, Jordan, was absolutely amazing. He’s been with Seagar and Sons since day one, and it showed—he was insightful, welcoming, and his recommendations never steered us wrong. We started with the Banana Old Fashioned (we’re huge Old Fashioned fans and were worried it might be too sweet, but it was perfection—I’ll be dreaming about it). For appetizers, we had the baked crab Rangoon dip and the fancy loaded potato skins. Even if you’re not a big seafood person, you’ll enjoy both of these—flavorful without being overly “fishy.” For mains, we shared the half bird fried chicken, the “pepped up” pizza, and the mac & cheese. Every single bite was incredible. By dessert, we were absolutely stuffed, but Jordan recommended the croissant cinnamon roll (I can’t remember the exact name), so we took it to go. Totally worth it. The atmosphere was just as memorable as the food—fun, nostalgic, and full of energy. I couldn’t count how many times I smiled and laughed throughout the meal. Overall, it was an unforgettable experience. Amazing food, amazing drinks, amazing service. We’ll definitely be back. Thank you, Seagar and Sons!

I loved everything about this restaurant from the moment we walked in. The hostess was very nice and helpful. Our server Jorden was beyond exceptional! He was so kind and answered all the questions I had . He checked on us frequently which I loved. Most importantly the food was delicious! I give everything was ate a 10 out of 10!

My wife saw this place today in a Face Book post and told me about it and we went here for dinner tonight and I am very impressed! The decore here and really the entire vibe are all awesome. Pretty much pushed all our buttons on all the categories that we both like. Especially the music 🎶 🎵 they had playing the whole time 70's and 80's genre. The inside is very loud and blostious but is really nicely decorated. Words will not do it justice it must be experienced. We sat outside on the patio (much quieter) which over looks The Boardwalk at Granite Park Pond. Jordan was our server and he was super knowledgeable about the entire menu and knew all the dishes by heart. (I love it when staff displays so much positive enthusiasm and really takes pride in their establishment which this young man certainly does.) at his recommendation I sampled the Bannana Bread Old Fashioned (which i never would have done without Jordan's recommendation) and guess what??? It was really delicious! So I had 2 of them. Heather usually doesn't appreciate Whiskey based drinks being a Tequila girl, but she tried it and even liked it. For our appetizer we tried the Fancy Potato Skins and they where really good, down right delicious. Hard decisions because all the descriptions looked very tantalizing. We already picked out what we wanna try for our second and third visits if that's any indication. For our entrée we tried The Boogie Nights 14' Pizza (again at Jordan's behest) That guy knows his stuff. Unconventional style of Pizza with pickles, fried chicken and hot honey, probably something we would never have tried if left to our own devices, but was super yummy! (Jordan was 3 for 3 for the evening!) For our dessert we sampled The Butterfinger Icebox pie, which turned out to be a cheesecake like confectionery dream with the heavenly tastes of carmel, chocolate and peanutbutter in a sinfully large portion that we split between the two of us and still felt guilty about after we devoured it! **but not to guilty** We are definitely adding this place in our top 5 best hangouts category! Winning business model, awesome staff, over the top bar and drinks and delicious and imaginative food combinations. If you are near here definitely give this place a try. I will warn everyone it will be very busy at peak times and they do accept reservations which I highly recommend doing online. Parking at the garage behind is easier to find free spaces in then the packed parking lot out front.

Yelp
The fried chickens have an excellent crunchy and crispy but a bit too salty, if reduced the salty of the crest, it would be so much better. As the way it is now, we can't eat the crest, which is the best part of the fried chicken. Service was great!

Yelp
Gustavo the bartender is the best at serving drinks, giving advice, or anything in general. If you need to go out for a girls night or just a drink ask for Gustavo he is the best ever!!!! What guy!! #freetherapy #weloveyougustavo

Yelp
We visited for the first time last night when our first plan fell through. We're actually very happy it did. Amazing experience! It was later in the night, so we were seated immediately. Charlie greeted us quickly and upon learning it was our first visit, explained the menu in great detail, making a few suggestions. We started with the baked crab Rangoon dip. Followed by a whole chicken order and jojo potato wedges. All we can say is wow! The dip was excellent. Gooey and flavorful and that sweet and sour sauce would be great on anything. We suggest a little touch of both dip and sauce on the wonton chips. You'll thank us. The chicken is the star of the show. Perfectly seasoned and cooked. The breading is crispy and thick yet not too overbearing. If we had to complain, the meat could use a touch more seasoning. But that's nit-picking. Even though it's all about that chicken, those jojo potatoes almost stole the scene for me. Both dishes were a home run. The leftover chicken made an excellent lunch today right out of the fridge. Charlie was an incredible host. Checked in on us just enough and anticipated our needs. Of note: My wife recently had surgery and eats like a bird. The dip was for her, she loves crab rangoons. But since she can't eat much, there was a lot left over...she was saving room for a piece of chicken. Charlie noticed and removed it from the bill. It wasn't necessary, there was absolutely nothing wrong with it. But he did so anyway, which we thought sets the service here above most other restaurants these days. The ambience quiet and warm. Dark but not annoyingly so. Very comfortable.

Yelp
Great atmosphere and good drinks and food. It does get a little loud with music and noise from surrounding tables, so hard to talk to other people at the table. We really liked the appetizers and most of our entrees. The only issue we had was with the pizza, it was a little cold when it came out, but my husband didn't want to complain. Overall a good experience and will come back out. Our server, Essa, was excellent and the host staff at front door were friendly and attentive as well.

Yelp
First time dining here yesterday while catching up with a friend who was in town for the day. The ambiance definitely gave an upscale feel, and the bar aesthetics were beautiful. Such a vibe. We started with the Strawberry Lavender Lemonade, which was so delicious we had to order another round. The Caesar salad was not your typical version. The anchovies in the dressing and the addition of avocado took it to another level of perfection. We also tried the Boogie Nights pizza, which was unique, but not quite for my palate. We shared the half bird. The crisp was spot on, but it leaned a bit too salty. Thinking it might've been a one-off, I ordered a full bird to go for my family, but unfortunately that was also overly salty. That said, I would still come back. The space is beautiful, the drinks are amazing, and aside from the salty chicken, the food overall was pretty good. .

Yelp
Went Saturday night with a group of friends and had a great time! Our server Brit was awesome and explained the menu so thoroughly. Inside had a retro vibe with cool vinyls as you walk in. The place was packed and busy but you could still have a conversation without screaming to be heard. Food was so good, we had the boogie nights pizza, half fried chicken and the Brussels sprouts salad. Loved their zero proof drinks too. The fried chicken was on the saltier side so something to keep in mind if you're sensitive to salt. Bathrooms were dark but I like the individual full stall rooms. Parking was easy too, there's plenty in the lot and also in the deck. Will def be back! Note: my photos don't highlight how good it is. (I forgot to take photos of the food when it first came out).

Yelp
The espresso martini was BOMB. Definitely loved it! The pizza was decent but not my favorite I've ever had. But still good! The only complaint was it was an insanely long wait for food and we were the only customers in there for about 20 minutes or more. But still spent about 1-1.5 hours there for 2 adults and a kid eating pizza.

Yelp
We got a salad and split it and one pizza again. Two slices and full tummy so plenty for leftovers. See photos of interior. BTW: don't let on but during hot summer and/or rain take advantage of next door free parking garage. Well worth it. Cooler today but opted for parking garage.

Yelp
Big restaurant right in the small pond at this little boardwalk. Had a nice vibe inside. Server was friendly but a little slow at times. The crab rangoon dip was delicious and had actual crab chunks in it. The wonton chips were nice and crispy. The burger was ok but nothing special. I've had better before and probably wouldn't get here again.

Yelp
FINALLY had a chance to try this gem and it was absolutely worth the wait!! Honestly, I wish I would've taken more pictures of the decor because everything was so cute!! The atmosphere was amazing and everyone was so nice!! When I booked my reservation, Mariah immediately reached out asking how they could make my visit special, it was such a sweet and thoughtful touch. Typically I'm used to reaching out to restaurants first when booking for a special occasion, so it was such a nice surprise that they reached out to me first. Our server's name was Mike and he was incredible and had the best recommendations. To start we did the Cacio e Pepe Fritters and the Chopped Chicken BLT Salad. Both were delicious!! The Calabrian chili sauce that came with the fritters was actually really spicy lol, so watch out!! For our entrees, we did the half bird and the burger with shells and cheese casserole and the Jojo potato wedges for our sides. Everything was so good and you can tell they used high-quality ingredients!! The fried chicken was juicy and packed with flavor and the green sauce really pushed everything over the top!! It lowkey reminds me of the Skhug sauce at Cava (which is my absolute FAVORITE), so that was definitely a win! We also got a few cocktails. The strawberry lavender lemon drop for me, and my man got the night moves. Both were fantastic!! To finish it all off we got the baked apple cinnamon roll and it was divine!! So yeah, all in all this place absolutely lives up to the hype - 10000/10 - HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!

Yelp
This is place is amazing. It has old school vibes with walls of old records. Good food and good vibes. My server Essa was amazing, I loved her energy. I recommend the Boogie Knights pizza, Crab Rangoon dip and Strawberry lavender lemon drop.

Yelp
We had a party of 12 people so we had to book online. Any more than that they would charge us for a private party. We were seated close to the reservation time, the server took care of us, and the atmosphere was nice for a group gathering. The Happy Hour drink specials were okay, but their drink menu is extensive and had wonderful options. For dinner, I had the Highbrow Pasta. It was tasty and filling. A lot of people at the table said the Mac and Cheese was amazing. Because Seagar & Sons shares a parking lot with many other restaurants, it was very difficult to find parking on a Friday at 5 pm. My recommendation is to get there earlier, much later, or possibly park in the nearby garage (I think you can park there).

Yelp
We had a really good lunch here. We had fried chicken, Mac n cheese and potato wedges. Everything was yummy. Fried chicken is not something I would normally order, but it seems to be their specialty and it did not disappoint. While there, another customer raved about their pizza so I will try that next time. I had fried chicken family style at another restaurant in Farmers Branch that was also their specialty but it wasn't as good and it was more expensive. My only disappointment is that I wish they had more sides to choose from. I'll definitely be back.

Yelp
This a beautiful well decorated bar. We got there one hour before closing and the bartender was very attentive and gave us the menu and time to think about our drinks. I ordered the painkiller and my friend had the rocket man martini both delicious and perfectly crafted to perfection. They also have an area with an amazing array of vinyl records. We where hopping to find out they had parties with such great music but it was just the manager's collection. I highly recommend this place for a craft cocktail.

Yelp
Loved the atmosphere-great 70s and 80s music, interior of the restaurant had half-circle dark brown leather booths and photos of singers on the wall and old album covers lining the walls of the front entrance. Friendly, attentive servers working in teams to bring out the cocktails and food fast. Their cocktails were also good- Foxy Lady and the Hotel California Spicy Margarita were refreshing and on point. We would order them again. We ordered their fried cheese appetizer, famous whole fried chicken, side of seasonal veggies- roasted kale and butternut squash--and roasted potato wedges and also their Jimmy- roasted sammie sandwich with a side of chips. The food was delicious, hearty portions and we had to take leftovers home because we could not finish it all. They also took reservations and had a covered parking garage very close to the restaurant! We noticed a nice private room in the back with a large big screen tv for large parties too. We highly recommend it.

Yelp
What a treat! This place is fantastic. We arrived on a Saturday night around 6 PM and were told there would be an hour and 15-minute wait, but we were pleasantly surprised when we were seated in just 40 minutes. The staff was professional, helpful, and friendly throughout the entire experience. We were very hungry, so we started with the crab Rangoon--absolutely delicious! I loved the light, puffy fried chips that came with it. For our main course, we shared the whole fried chicken with broccolini. The broccolini was nicely seasoned--crispier than I usually prefer, but still very tasty. The chicken itself was juicy and flavorful, and it came with two amazing dipping sauces: one was a sweet and spicy sauce, and the other was a vibrant green sauce I couldn't quite identify--but it was so good! I also had a lavender cocktail, which was light, refreshing, and not too sweet--just perfect. The venue is huge, with plenty of seating inside, at the bar, and even outside. The upbeat music and stylish décor create a really fun vibe. Can't wait to go back! Add this one to the love list!

Yelp
Apparently this place is owned by the same team behind Union Bear. (Which is just few doors over.) We are huge fans of UB so we checked it out. This place is huge! It has a bit of a nostalgia vibe, but not overly themed. Big tables, dark, and a great 70s and 80s playlist. Never thought I would be hearing Siouxsie and the Banshees playing Dear Prudence while dining in Frisco TX in 2025, but I did. Followed by Duran Duran's Rio. Started with a $5 salty snack of oyster crackers. These were underwhelming and I would suggest skipping. (We make oyster crackers and ours our so much more better.) These lacked flavor even though you could see seasoning. I used some of the black salt from my margarita to give them some flavor. Anyway, my son and I split the Whole Bird fried chicken. I was hoping it would come in a bucket, but it didn't. This was the best damn fried chicken I've ever had. (I am a big fan of Babe's.) It comes with 2 sauces - a spicy honey (that brought the heat) and green sauce (a pesto based cream). No real need for the sauces. The chicken was perfectly seasoned and crispy. We brought home a few pieces. Serving was huge. We also ordered a small Caesar Salad which was very good. (Small complaint - I found an entire base of the romaine lettuce stock in my salad. Which should have been tossed.) Mac and cheese was very creamy, not too cheesy. Big shells. The kids loved it. My daughter ordered the chicken and pickle pizza. Everyone shared a few slices and it was a hit. We will definitely be coming back. HUGE SERVINGS so be careful not to over order.

Yelp
Our server Chris B. Had awesome drink recommendations - we were here for drinks only. I feel like drinks only get mid service and he took phenomenal care of us so we will be back next date night to see what the restaurant has to offer!! Thank you Chris!!

Yelp
Had a fantastic dinner at Seager and sons. The wait staff was incredible. Knowledge of the menu was fantastic and they made sure to take care of us as guests. The restaurant is beautiful. Super modern swanky vibe with cool musician based art work everywhere. But the food is incredible. I had their signature fried chicken with mac and cheese and potato wedges and I would literally go back every day just for that. Definitely worth checking out.
google avatar

Beryl D.

Yelp
I totally love the vibe, service, ambiance and aesthetic of this place. The wood paneling and color palette is nostalgic but tastefully done. The drink and food menus are super nice, offering a wide selection of tasty options. I tasted the Baked Crab Rangoon Dip and the Hotel California Rita and Strawberry Super Freak drinks. Me and my friend truly enjoyed and can't wait to check them out for happy hour.
google avatar

Brittany T.

Yelp
Fantastic happy hour, amazing food, and incredible service. Our server Jordan took great care of us to ensure our visit was perfect. The vibes in there were very artistic and paid homage to a lot talented music legends. Loved to see all the vinyl right as you walked on. The stars of the show were the hot honey sauce that came with the half order of chicken. Really recommend getting a side of ranch and putting that and the sauce on your pizza -- top notch! Happy hour is weekday 2-6pm and they have great discounts on beer and wine. We had drafts and also tried their banana whiskey cocktail which was one of the best drinks I've ever had. Can't wait to come back!

Yelp
This was first time and I am pretty impressed. My Food was fresh and filling. I got a half and Half Pizza (All Pep'd up & Blues Brothers). I must say I enjoyed the pepperoni pizza a lot more. My server Kaden recommend the hot honey topping and let's say what an amazing add. He was quite enjoyable and had great recommendations. I sat on the hooded patio the vibes were great, and it was such a pretty day outside. I'd definitely recommend this place.
google avatar

Natty P.

Yelp
The menu is basic af but the flavor is not! The atmosphere was everything! If you are a millennial, gen x, or Boomer the atmosphere feels nostalgic and authentic. The pizza was incredible. The burger was amazing. The fried chicken was perfection. Definitely a fabulous place for a bday, a nice meal with friends, a date, or business meeting.
google avatar

Christina L.

Yelp
Interesting theme restaurant and not in your face with it! Servers were very attentive even during a busy lunch hour. I had the mozzarella app and Fried chicken. Both were good - and extra crispy! Mozzarella sticks were huge. For dessert there are only two options and we tried both. A little disappointed. Definitely would come back.
google avatar

Pete G.

Yelp
We tried this place and enjoyed it. It's fairly large and kid friendly. Decent menu selections. We split a large fried chicken plate with broccolini and a tasty crab Rangoon dip for the app. The broccolini tasted great but was a bit undercooked. Great service as well. Rock music is the theme, but volume wasn't overwhelming. Several mixed drinks on the menu, but those prices were too high for what we got. We'll be back soon.

Yelp
Drinks were GREAT! 4 STARS They have a Social Hour and have some discounted cocktails available during this time. I selected the Frozen Long Island. It was yummy and strong. My second cocktail was the Strawberry Lavender Martini. This was my favorite drink. It was delicious and had just the right amount of vodka. FOOD is pretty good. 3.5 STARS We shared a pizza and it was enough for the 4 of us. The pepperoni pizza was definitely full of pepperoni. We also shared half a bird. Crispy fried chicken which comes with two sauces. It came with leg, wing, breast and thigh. The sauces were tasty. Chicken fried perfectly. SERVICE 4 STARS Waiter was pleasant and helpful! AMBIANCE 4 STARS I love the vibe. It's nostalgic, cool and funky. The decor is like a 70's and 80's mix. It's cozy and comfy at the same time. It feels like my childhood home. I love the records. The music is good that they play. Overall I had a very good time. My mom enjoyed her birthday meal. The bonus was the yummy dessert. It was a cinnamon roll with ice cream and apples. It was delicately sweet and scrumptious. I am glad I finally had a chance to try this restaurant out.

Yelp
Sizzle-crisp-crunch- all the things you want when you bite into that hot piece of juicy fried chicken- yes, indeed. We did a pizza and fried chicken assortment and it was divine and delightful- we started with the crab rangoon dip and it was swoon-worthy- a few more pita chips would have be amazing, but we didn't ask so maybe next time- it's so buttery and bubbly and so so good! Get it immediately, immediately, yes! Service was spot on- our server was business- but professional- a few others servers stopped by to check in as well. Loved the decor, good food and great energy. The fried chicken was very tasty... and accompanied by a hot honey and chimmichurri sauce. Pizza was also delish- but maybe a crispier crust would make it a 10/10! Overall, very nice place. We will be back, sooner than later!
google avatar

Allie G.

Yelp
I was very impressed with the food, ambiance & service here at Seager & Sons. The chicken is a dish not to pass up. I recommend the blackberry high ball drink for a crisp & refreshing summer drink. Chris B. Was an amazing server & attentive to detail! Thank you for the food & service
google avatar

Caesar B.

Yelp
My wife and I decided to try Seager & Sons for lunch and it was a great decision! The ambiance is very nice, has an old school music theme to it. We ordered 2 cocktails each and really enjoyed them! The waiter was super friendly, and gave us a lot of insight about the menu. He said the fried chicken was a must. We ordered the full bird and it was some of the best fried chicken we ever had. I know a lot of places claim to have the best fried chicken, so I really judge them when they do, and this was perfectly done. The chicken comes with 2 sauces, the sauce with honey was delicious. We ordered broccolini as a side which was also very tasty. The portion, quality and price point of the full chicken is well worth it. We had enough chicken to eat the next day for lunch. I will definitely be back whether it's for the chicken for the cocktails.
google avatar

Ebony H.

Yelp
Loved the vibe and atmosphere of the music themed restaurant. The service was amazing we had a very friendly and welcoming waitress. The pizza was delicious but a bit greasy a d could use extra sauce. The chicken was also flavorful and paired well with the green sauce. The hot honey wasn't my favorite as it had more of a Smokey taste rather than the traditional hot honey. Overall we will definitely be back to explore more of the menu!
google avatar

Tiara B.

Yelp
Once you step into Seager & Sons it's a vibe! The retro 70s meets upscale dining experience decor. The bar is huge with plenty of seating. We started off with cocktails. I had the LEAVING ON A PAPER PLANE and my husband had the BANANA BREAD OLD FASHIONED. Both cocktails were delicious and balanced well. The details with the paper plane paper clip was a great touch. Let's face it, I came here for the fried chicken because I heard it was great and it did not disappoint! We got the full bird to split between my husband and I. Along with a side of broccoli rabb. The chicken came out pipping hot and the skin was nice and crispy. The crunch when biting into the chicken was just right. The chicken was delicious to say the least. I loved the chipotle hot honey sauce but personally wasn't a fan of the green sauce. We felt the green sauce would be better suited for tacos. The Sautéed garlic broccolini was full of flavor and was really tasty. We indulged in the chicken only leaving the breast piece each which we decided to take to go. We opted for another cocktail over dessert as we were full. For the second round I had the MR. SEAGER'S SOUR. Which was amazing. I love a cocktail with egg white it in. My husband went with the BRUNCH MONEY MANHATTAN. He enjoyed it but preferred his first cocktail. Rey was our server and was PHENOMENAL! He was so kind and helpful, we would love to have him as our server again when we go back. Lo also stopped by our table and chatted with us and was great as well. She gave us a nice trick of heating up our leftover chicken in the air fryer for optimal taste the next day. Which we tried and it was an awesome tip. We were too full for desert but Rey sent us home with a Butterfinger icebox pie so that we could enjoy it later! This comes as a HUGE slice. Definitely good if you enjoy peanut butter and chocolate. If you're looking for Quality service and quality food, you don't want to skip out on this place. We will come back here time and time again!

Yelp
Had a really good time at Seager and Sons. We were there celebrating my sister getting an award from work so we were a big party (9 of us total). We made a reservation ahead of time and our table was in a very good spot. Our server, Ethan, handled all of us like a pro. The service was smooth and he was very attentive. He always made sure our drinks were filled and we were doing good. The restaurant itself gives upscale yet relaxed vibes. We had the crab Rangoon dip which was so good! Be sure to get that as appetizer but you may not want to share it- it's that delicious! For my entree, I had the parmy carmy. It was pretty good, but be weary- it's big! I ate about half of it and decided the remainder would be my lunch the next day. It's always nice to get two meals out of one. The Sandwhich was nice and crispy and the chicken juicy. I definitely want to come back and try more of the menu!

Yelp
So we came here with family and friends, and this place looks fantastic. I love the vibe it gives when you walk in, it has this nice dark wood 80s vibe, if that makes sense. They have a beautiful, nice bar when you walk in, so make sure you see the hostess. If you are with a group, make sure to make reservations. For the crab Rangoon dip, and wow, it is very flavorful. I like the kick that it has. I got the " That Burger" with homemade chips. The chips are great, and I love their crispiness. The burger is delicious, nice, and juicy. It does come with horseradish pickles, which I did not like, but they brought me regular dill, which was terrific. Ok, this was amazing, I am stuffed!!! Now, kudos to our waiter, Ethan, who was excellent. He was here to explain everything and ensure everything was good with our table. Thank you, Ethan.

Yelp
I don't give out 5 stars very frequently- but Seager & Sons deserves every one. We went March of 2025 to celebrate my husband's birthday, and from the moment we stepped in the door we were warmly welcomed and treated like we belonged. When we got to our table there was even a birthday card signed by the entire staff! The place has a great, laid back vibe, a diverse clientele and friendly staff. Our waiter Randy was awesome and had great recommendations for us all night. Everything we had to eat and drink was incredible, especially the shrimp cocktail and the mac n cheese! We had a fantastic time here and already can't wait to come back! Highly recommended!

Yelp
Baked Crab Rangoon Dip, Fancy Potato Skins, Brussels Sprout Chop Salad, Fried Chicken Half Bird, Blues Brothers Pizza, Eggplant Parm, Butterfingers Ice Box Pie, Mac & Cheese This was one of the most satisfying meals. It's a new place opened in Plano with classic American options in a 1970s vibe. The interior is gorgeous with spacious round booths and tables. There's something in the menu for everyone, and with how hungry we were, we basically ordered the entire menu. And everything was absolutely spectacular. Highlights were the Rangoon Dip, mac & cheese, and the pizza for sure!!! The famous fried chicken is pretty good, the sauces are really the highlight for that dish. The drinks were also so fun and delicious. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and our food came out shockingly fast despite how busy this place was! The Butterfingers Ice Box Pie was a little too dense for me, very sweet, but quite yummy

Yelp
First time coming, and we enjoyed ourselves!! The service was top notch, great ambiance and decor, and menu was very reasonably priced! Highlight of the evening surprisingly was the crab Rangoon dip, with fresh wonton chips and the chili dipping sauce. Fried chicken with their homemade spicy honey was wonderful, and their bohemian rhapsody pizza had a nice spicy kick. Wish we had room for dessert - Imani our server was excellent. Can't wait to return.

Yelp
So nice I went twice! Well not on purpose but a I did happen to go here twice in one week and have to say that both times I was extremely impressed. The styling of the restaurant gives 70's lounge vibes but is open and airy. The staff is amazing and service was on point for both visits. Their menu is very American focused with a lot to choose from for everyone. Their friend chicken is one of my favorites in Plano and with the hot honey sauce it's perfection. The burger was good and had great flavor profile with the white cheddar. The old bay seasoning on the chips reminded of back home so that was a plus. The people I went with got the pizzas and the all Pep's Up had great flavor and definitely worth the price. The Bohemian was good but could do with a little bit of edits as it had way too many toppings but you do get what you pay for. Overall I highly recommend them. Their great service, delicious food, and great vibes makes it a perfect place for a dinner night out.

Yelp
Out the gate I just want to say I absolutely love the vibe of this place. Amazing decor with old vinyl placed beautifully in the entrance and gotta tip my hap to the nice touches with the custom guitar picks and their matchbooks. Our server was also pretty exceptional. Very friendly and extremely patient with our struggling to make a decision with what to order (since we wanted everything). Also he nicely accommodated our vegetarian friend by putting the meat on the side of our brussel sprout chop salad. The drinks here also top notch. One of the best cocktail menus around. The best bite of food we had there easily was the Cacio e Pepe Fritters. So warm and creamy with an ethereal texture and a perfectly balanced flavor inside. The warm grilled focaccia toast was ok. It came with ricotta and pepper jelly. It wasn't bad or anything, just not sure if it was particularly memorable. The brussel sprout chop salad was definitely delicious in its own right. If I ever came back, I would just order this and a bunch of drinks. The half bird, though pretty tasty, was heavily breaded and pretty salty for my liking. I'm sure other people think it's amazing and for others it might be, but for me, needless to say I have had better. The Bohemian Rhapsody pizza was interesting. I really loved the crust on it, and that's about it. It was really saucy and all the toppings on the pizza were kind of fighting each other which kind of muddled the overall flavor of it. The potato wedges do make an excellent side though. Big crispy and salty and perfectly fluffy inside. We would definitely come back though and try other things for sure.

Yelp
Just as they say - "Highbrow eats, Lofi beats" - The vibe of this place is on point! We were there yesterday, on the patio, for a team building happy hour and couldn't have asked for a better first experience. Our waiter Narrida was absolutely amazing - warm, funny and knew exactly how to service our table. We ordered many of the shareables from the fancy potato skins, baked crab rangoon dip, fritters to a full bird fried chicken and everything was delicious. If I had to skip on something, I'd probably not get the crab rangoon dip again just because it was a bit grainy and something in it was slightly too overpowering. Now if you check out this place, check out their drinks menu. I didn't get pix of the drinks but everyone at our table tried something different and none of the drinks disappointed! The favorite at the table as the Night Moves and the Strawberry Lavender Lemon Drop! I look forward to going again and trying a few other menu items!

Yelp
Went back for my second time last night - took advantage of not-too-hot weather and enjoyed the patio, though the inside decor is definitely well done. Our server Chris was really fantastic - great suggestions & humour; it's nice when you feel like you're interacting with someone who likes their job! Drinks are great - tried the Black Cherry Bourbon Slush, yum! Crab Rangoon dip is quite rich, quite delicious. We ordered fried chicken, red fish, Caesar salad and the chicken parm sandwich and all were really good. Redfish was excellent. Fried Chicken (this was my second time) has climbed into the handful of "best ever." It's that good!!

Yelp
Located in the cutest little plaza decorated with lots of lights, games, and firepits, it only makes sense that they would house an equally vibey restaurant! I can see Seager & Sons being a hot spot, with their amazing interior design, the on theme menu items, and their ridiculously friendly wait staff. We got the boogie pizza, which was pretty good! The crust was really bready and chewy (which is a good thing for me) but also a little dry. And they don't skimp on toppings! This was basically a fried chicken and pickle pizza, so make sure you're in a pickle mood before you order this. I kinda wish there was more hot honey because it was a little lacking in the spice and sweet categories. But it was a decent size, and can probably be good for two people to share. The highbrow pasta was really delicious! The sauce was so creamy and cheesy, would definitely get that one again next time.

Yelp
OKUR!!!! Can we say AMAZINGGGGGGG! My husband and I decided on a whim to come here after going to Scheels and brought our 7 month old son. They were not only extremely nice, but super welcoming and considerate of our son. This is a swanky vibey place so one would think that bringing a kid would be awkward/frowned upon, but they even complimented our lil man. Not just that, our server was exceptional. His name was Chris. I told him we were picky about cocktails and each one recommended was amazing. My husband had the Rocketman and the Banana bread old fashioned and I had the Mr. Seagers sour and the Leaving on a paper plane. We were impressed by all of them. The fried chicken was MOUTH WATERING and no....nobody is paying me for this review LOL I'm so serious. My husband and I live all the way in north Fort Worth and we would drive here in a heartbeat to eat here religiously, portions are big and you totally get what you pay for. We had the Cacio e Pepe Fritters, the half plate of fried chicken and the Boogie Nights,

Yelp
I was excited to try this new restaurant in Granite Park. The decor is terrific very old school dark woods and charming. We had a reservation and were immediately seated. Service was fantastic! Waitstaff were friendly and explained the menu very well! We had the Crab Rangoon dip as an appetizer. It was good but would probably try something g different ext time. We ordered the fried chicken that was crispy and delicious! We had the garlic broccolini and shells and cheese for our sides. Both were fantastic! The drink menu was a great mix and we opted for Martinis that were yummy! We will definitely be back to try the other items on the menu!! We also had the Butterfinger pie for dessert that was decadent.

Yelp
We love trying the concepts at Granite Park and anxiously anticipated the opening of Seager & Sons. We decided to dine on a Saturday for lunch and after reading other reviews and seeing photos on Yelp, we made reservations and requested a curved booth. Upon arriving, we were warmly greeted and shown to our requested booth with the "reserved" sign on the table. Loved the extra touch of making us feel special. We were off to a good start! The restaurant was packed and had such a fun vibe with nostalgic music from the 70s and 80s. The interior is lovely with a large bar, TVs and a very big patio as well. As we reviewed the menu, our server stopped by to tell us a little bit more about the restaurant and featured menu items. He was so nice and friendly and engaged us in conversation. All of the cocktails were innovative with interesting names, making it difficult to pick. I decided on the Sex on the Beach because I hadn't had one in 20 years! Brought back memories. LOL We started with the baked crab rangoon dip. It was really tasty! For our mains, we opted for the family recipe fried chicken and Boogie Nights pizza which consisted of fried chicken, alfredo ranch sauce and pickles. Both were really good! I just wish the fried chicken came with one side dish. We didn't realize it and our server didn't ask us if we wanted a side or salad to go with it. We will remember for next time though. When we asked for our leftovers to go, which included the crab dip, our server was nice enough to provide us with fresh crisps to take home. Really thoughtful. This is a place I see us returning again and again. Outstanding ambiance, food and service!

Yelp
Unfortunately the nice building with a pleasant view does not stand out food wise. The fried chicken is at the same level of a KFC with mediocre dip options. The pizza is fine but has a dry hallow crust which is not the case at a better pizza place. Service is good and will get the job done in time. The hostess was great and gave us the best view.

Yelp
Ambience was great! Much louder inside than where we sat on the covered patio. Take note that there isn't AC in that area from what I could tell - just fans and heaters. Our server David was terrific. Friendly, attentive, and will make recommends. The hostess seemed a little annoyed when we asked her to let us know if an outside table opened up. Fried cheese app: the cheese did not have a lot of "bite", and didn't come out very melted (it may have sat for awhile before being served). The red sauce had good flavor - but those of you who like high salt will wish for more. I feel like if this came fresh out of the oven, it would have been really great. But they were pretty packed when we were there - totally understandable. Fried chicken was very good. Crispy, batter was flavorful, chicken was tender. There is some salt on this, and it tastes great - and to top it off, it's not overly greasy. It's a well-done, clean fried chicken. Pep'd Up pizza was also very good - thank you for not skimping on the pepperoni! With all the sauce and pepperoni, it still wasn't too acidic, and the cheese tasted fresh. Solid pizza. Pina nada colada and the non-alcoholic Paloma were a bit strong (sweet/tart) at first sip, but let the ice melt and it settled in nicely. The glasses they used were a nice touch. Butterfinger icebox pie - it was good, but we had to get over the fact that in our head, we expected a butterfinger ice cream pie (icebox). It is not that - it is a cold pie - once you get past that mental gap, it's fine. Overall, I recommend this place! Lots more to try.

Yelp
Just ok. We got the potato skins, brussel sprout salad, and the fried chicken. Potato skins were topped with lobster, cheeses, and bacon but it was all lost somehow. It didn't taste flavorful. The brussel sprout salad was a bit dry but good concept. The fried chicken was decent, not any better than babe's chicken house though. The vibe is EXCELLENT. Decor is fun and definitely unique.

Yelp
The decor is cute and fun with 70s and 80s vinyl records and musician photos adorning the walls. From the moment you enter the service is wonderful, and people that work here really make an effort to give a welcome feeling. The parking in the area is a bit challenging but there is plenty of seating inside. The menu is great, and the portions/ prices are surprisingly good for the area. We tried several things... standouts were the pizzas and the fritters on the starters menu. Actually, the fritters are one of my favorite things I've had in a long time. Cocktails are fun and creative also!

Yelp
Met up with the girls for our first brunch visit to Seager & Sons, and wow--it did not disappoint. From start to finish, the experience was top-tier. Lo and Chris, along with the rest of the team, took such great care of us, from stellar recommendations to flawless service. The vibe? Impeccable. I'm a music lover with a soft spot for vinyl, so the decor was right up my alley. There's a big-screen TV at the bar perfect for catching the game, and yes--the bar is fully stocked. The background music hit just right, not too loud and featuring a great variety of artists. Plenty of spacious seating, too, so you're not elbow-to-elbow with the next table. Safe to say--I'll definitely be back soon!
