The Best New Restaurants in Dallas, March 2025

"Do you love vinyl records, the 1970s, and fried chicken? Great! This is the spot. Get all the retro vibes you can handle and pair that chicken with some Champagne at this spot in Plano that opened in December, brought to you by the hospitality group behind Suburban Yacht Club. Check it out and see if “you have to believe we are magic/nothing can stand in our way.” If you don’t know that lyric, brush up on your ‘70s lore, geesh." - Courtney E. Smith

The Most Exciting Restaurant Openings for 2024 in Dallas | Eater Dallas

"Chef Anastacia Quiñones-Pittman of Jose: "Seager & Son’s opening excited me this year. The pizza and fried chicken are damn good! And I’m not bias because it’s my husband’s restaurant group. The pizza reminds me of Fireside Pies (rip) and the fried chicken is so tender and crispy!" (Place name redacted in the summary per guidelines.)" - Courtney E. Smith

Wow. How have we missed out on chilling at this place all this time!?!? Between the killer vibe, the phenomenal service (thanks, Allison!), the craveable food, and the lovely libations, we may just have found our permanent hang! So glad we checked out the reviews and decided to come in for a late night dinner on a Tuesday. From the moment we set foot in the place, we experienced a feel good kind of mood shift that lasted well beyond the last bite. Our culinary excursion guide, Allison, was genuinely a huge part of why our first experience won’t be our last. From immediately setting that good vibe tone to helping us navigate the menu, sharing her favs, and answering all our questions with ease and confidence, she really curated the perfect initial visit. We kicked off with the Crab Rangoon Dip, a warm, rich, and creamy crab combo that arrived with light and crisp fried wontons and a sweet chili sauce that created the perfect balance of heat and tang to offset the unctuous bites of cream cheese. Led by our trusted guide, we imbibed a variety of elixirs that ranged from a smooth and stealthy vodka hi-ball with strawberries to a tart Socorro blanco tequila skinny paloma, the warm and comfy banana bread old fashioned, and a super lemony Long Island Iced Tea — all well chosen and perfectly paired to balance out our dinner decisions. That fried chicken should be illegal in at least 30 states because it’s so addictive. Holy macaroni was it crisp and incredibly juicy and flavorful! The chipotle honey and green stuff sauces were a fabulous way to help even out the saltiness of the chicken. Together, those bites couldn’t have gotten better - just divine. Instead of sides, Allison said we were on the right track when we asked about the Cacio e Pepe Fritters, and she wasn’t wrong. The creamy cheesy goodness oozing from within those golden crispy arancini-like spheres of goodness were nothing short of sooooooo goooooood! And to top it all off, we knocked back the most delectable Butterfinger Icebox Pie known to man. I’m not sure how fluffy, creamy, crunchy, sweet, smooth, and satisfying can make it into one bite, but it did in that triangular triumph. We will 1,000% be back, and we’ve already planned out pizza and pasta with Allison for when we return. Can’t wait!

Atmosphere is great, but unfortunately the food was nothing to come back for. We ordered these: 1. Margarita - 7/10, a little bland, tasted like it had vodka instead of tequila 2. Renegade Steak Styx - 5/10, expensive, gristly, mushrooms seemed old, good flavor 3. Tuna Lettuce wraps - 7/10 very good, but a little too pricey for what you get 4. Sesame Chicken Chop - 6/10, mostly loaded with the cheap fried wontons and cabbage, overpriced for what you get, flavor was a little bland 5. Bohemian Rhapsody pizza - 1/10, terrible. Overpowering sour/tart flavor, did not seem to have cheese on it, mushrooms were old and just overall very disappointing. If these dishes were better quality I would not complain about the price; understandably this is a more upscale area, but the food quality was very much lacking consistently throughout.

We arrived with a late reservation on a busy Saturday night around 6:30 p.m. The waiter was incredibly friendly and helpful, guiding us through the menu. The restaurant is renowned for its pizza and fried chicken. We decided to try the pizza and salad, both of which were delicious and satisfying. The atmosphere was lively and vibrant, with soft background music creating a pleasant ambiance. They also have a full bar offering a variety of craft cocktails, which were exceptional. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely come back to try the chicken!

Google
If I could give this place an 11/10, I would. From sip to bite, everything was delicious and did not disappoint. My friend and I are so satisfied! Our mouths and stomachs are so happy. We ordered 4 shareables had a drink or two here and finished with desert. I forgot the name of the desert but if you like Reese’s cups, you’ll love this desert, it’s like a pie version but more. We ordered the cocktail shrimp, steak sticks, potato skins, mozzarella sticks (more like Patties). Food was divine, service was superb, even the manager came to greet us. And the ambiance, 70s vibes, speakeasy like atmosphere. You just gotta experience it for yourselves. Great for small or large groups. Bring your dates, friends, family. It’s a vibe. Till then, let’s eat!!!

Came here for my birthday and everything was amazing. Jesse was our server and he was so helpful. The manager and staff went the extra mile to make my birthday special by having a signed card, dessert and a gift card for our next visit. I’ve never experienced such amazing customer service. Food and drinks were also a 10/10. Prices were great. Highly recommend if you enjoy great food, nice atmosphere and A1 service. So happy we came. Hopefully they expand to the Houston area

Google
We had a great first experience at S&S on Monday evening. From the moment we walked in to the dimly lit atmosphere, we were hooked. The drinks (looking at you Banana Bread Old Fashioned) to the fancy potato skins, to a great pizza, it has not been put on our short list of places to regularly patron. JR provided great service and fantastic drinks, along with the rest of the bar crew as well. We sat at the bar, which was plenty comfortable and while there are tvs with the game on, they don’t distract from the overall ambiance. Well worth checking out and a welcome addition to granite park.

Google
We enjoy the 70's and 80's atmosphere and music. The outdoor seating is very comfortable and has nice views of the lake. The service is exceptional. Jasmine, the Hostess, makes us feel welcome when ever we walk in the door. Esa, our server, is so thoughtful and attentive. Our favorite thing to order is the All Pepped Up pizza, so good!

Google
I love food. The chicken here is like a luxury edition of your favorite chicken store's chicken. The price of the half bird is worth it. I think this is better than Babe's, then again I was hungry lol. It's 73 degrees today and sitting outside was phenomenal. Shoutout to Izza and the team for the excellent service.

Yelp
Amazing! Purely amazing! I've been twice. Both for happy hour. I love that they have Union Bear beer. First time it was in frosted mugs, second time they weren't. Definitely was better frosted. The first time we got their HH appetizer. They were good but it's just too many chips & weird dips. I wish they offered some other items. The second time we opted to share a pizza & it was one with chicken & pickles on it. I thought I'd hate it. It was probably the best pizza I've ever had. The crust was perfect. The mix of flavors were perfect. We have talked endlessly about this pizza. Highly recommend! The service was great both times. We had a core server but felt like everyone was a team & could get help from anyone walking around. The design & music are an extra chefs kiss! They also usually have promotion merch up front. I've gotten a magnet & guitar picks. Pretty fun! Highly recommend!

Yelp
Major props to our waiter who was basically my wingman while taking someone out for lunch. Normally the combination of fried chicken and pizza sounds like a college kids dream, but S&S does it right. Did I mention their vinyl record collected aesthetic was basically my version of heaven? It rained on our walk along the lake this time, next time we bring the family we look forward to venturing to the neighboring spots!

Yelp
If you've ever wondered what culinary nirvana tastes like, spoiler alert: it's the grilled red-fish at Seeger & Sons. My wife and I both ordered it, and I swear the sauce was so divine I briefly considered baptizing myself in it. Forget "secret sauce"--this was "sauce so good it should run for office." Side note: my wife went with broccolini, proving once again she's the classy half of this relationship. I, meanwhile, ordered wedge fries the size of small lumber. Together, we achieved the perfect yin‑yang of sides: refined greens and unapologetic potato bricks. And no, we didn't come close to finishing the sides.... Very healthy portions!! The service? Flawless. The staff glided around like restaurant superheroes--always there when needed, never lurking like awkward background extras. The temperature inside was chef's kiss perfect. Not too hot, not too cold, just right--like the thermostat was set by Goldilocks herself. And then came the bourbon. Woodridge, over a single square cube so geometrically perfect I half expected Pythagoras to rise from the grave and applaud. Smooth, rich, and the kind of drink that makes you want to lean back, sigh, and declare, "Life is good." Final Word: Seeger & Sons isn't just a restaurant--it's a stage where fish sauce plays the lead role, wedge fries steal scenes, and bourbon delivers the curtain call. If you don't leave here plotting your next visit, check your pulse. As the famous Arnold Schwarzenegger once said "I'll be back"!

Yelp
I had not heard of Seager & Sons and did not know what to expect. The vibe is "vinyl" with an ode to all music. I enjoyed the posters of music legends. The dinner was a big surprise. We ordered the CHICAGO-STYLE PIGS IN A BLANKET for an appetizer. The puff pastry and red hots worked well together. The That Burger was hearty and a good blend of meat. From the look at other tables, the fried chicken is popular. Look forward to trying the fried chicken with the next visit.

Yelp
Listen up North Dallas, if you're looking for a place to take your first date, to impress your family, or just want some soul good food Seager & Sons is THE SPOT. As you walk in you are immediately greeted by one of the Seager's sons. Now all of the servers are great but you specifically need to request Cat. She will not only be your server, she will make sure your food is cooked to perfection. She will make sure your drinks are ice cold. She will listen to your world problems. Maybe if you catch her on your lucky day, you could potentially get a horoscope reading out her. She can do it all! Now the food. BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM. Five big booms all around. Chat get the crab Rangoon dip. Y'all will thank me later. If you're reading till the end give my review some love. Stay humble. Stay grinding. See my girl Cat!

Yelp
Definitely recommend! A solid American restaurant. Great drinks and food, nice service, and cozy ambiance! One of our coworkers used to manage here and told us to try it out. She gave us all her recommendations starting with a drink she had created. The Strawberry Lavender Lemon Drop Drinks: - Strawberry Lavender Lemon Drop: It's great, but very dangerous. It will definitely sneak up on you. - Rocketman: Solid and smooth espresso martini! - Black Cherry Bourbon Slush: Bourbon forward with a hint of coke and cherry. - Banana Bread Old Fashioned: Solid and bold old fashion with a hint of banana. Banana chips were a great touch! Food: Blue Brothers and Baked Crab Rangoon Dip was recommended to us by our coworker. Baked Crab Rangoon Dip was 10/10, definitely my favorite. Blue Brothers was good as well, but the dip stood out to me by far. Got the Blood Mary Shrimp Cocktail and it was a solid shrimp cocktail as well-the pickled vegetables were a great touch. Service: We sat at the bar top. Gustavo was taking care of us. He was nice and helped us out with everything. Ambiance: Very beautiful and cozy aesthetic. 70's-80's theme interior is absolutely beautiful and has a great vibe to it. The bar is great and the patio view is great.

Yelp
Gorgeous Restaurant. Epic Patio Option. Apps Mozzarella Bites - excellent breading / crunch great ratio cheese to crunch The crab dip was the star of the show. Hands down It was the best app I have had in Dallas. Martini Dip was fun, it missed the mark. Heavy on the pickle. The onion dip was yummy, but the temp didn't work for me. Flavor was there. Pigs in blankets Ratio was a bit off pig to blanker but yummy I did try a bite of the chicken- the look had me fooled. What I had tasted old and a bit greasy ( yes I understand it is fried chicken ) My tuna lettuce wraps were excellent and a great choice to have a few extra bites. The paper airplane was a bit sweet but overall a well executed drink. Large group 20ish service was forgettable.

Yelp
Amazing place, new concept for American dining. We celebrated our grandson's baptism party here. Fresh and good quality food. Friendly and attentive servers. Nicely decorated American restaurant.

Yelp
The atmosphere and decor is welcoming and nostalgic with dark paneling and old school records on the shelves as decor. The hostess and server were very friendly with helpful recommendations. The crab dip was tasty and the pepperoni pizza with a thicker crust was flavorful.

Yelp
Ate lunch here in December. We came through the back by the boardwalk and they convinced us to eat outside. Even with heaters it can be cold. Recommend eating inside. Food we tried was recommended by the waiter fried chicken and pizza. Chicken was good with two side sauces. Chicken was a little salty imo, but otherwise good. Comes in half or whole bird. Also had a pizza with pepperoni on half and sausage with peppers on the other half. This was ok. We left through the inside and it's very nice inside. Recommend eating in.

Yelp
Delicious steak and a great Caesar salad. The bar staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. The ambiance is great-- you can keep it casual or dress iup, whatever mood you're in. Loved the outdoor area with the fire pits.

Yelp
Such a grooovy and fun restaurant with amazing food to match! It has a great atmosphere, which nice and quick service. We got the Blue Brothers pizza which is probably one of the best pizzas I've ever had! Such authentic unique and yummy pizza. The 1/2 chicken was also cooked to perfection and served nice and hot. Definitely want to try more of the menu when we go back! 10/10!

Yelp
Great ambiance, very cool vibes and is casual enough to meet up for dinner with friends but also could be nice enough for date night. Went with our family and the five of us split: -fancy potato skins (couldn't identify the lobster but still really delicious) -cacio e pepe fritters (would have loved more cacio e pepe flavor but the sauce was spicy and fitter was crispy) -half bird fried chicken (rivals our favorite fried chicken place) -blues brothers pizza (dough was not floppy, had a nice crunch, and still chewy in the middle...hot giardiniera was a great addition to pizza) Waiter was friendly and attentive without it being overboard. All in all, great visit. Would love to hang out on the patio at some point...nice area to walk around after dinner. We were afraid there'd be a long wait but we arrived about 5:45p on a Sunday evening and no wait for a table for 5 indoor.

Yelp
First time at S&S and already looking forward to my next visit! This place is amazing....the menu is limited but great, the decor is the best I've seen in a long time. It was visual overstimulation but in a good way! Our table enjoyed two different pizzas and a half order of fried chicken...all of it amazing. Service was good, however in all honesty could have been a bit better. This place for me is a 10/10! 11/26 I am so bummed that all my photos didn't upload, and of course I erased them already

Yelp
Went Saturday night with a group of friends and had a great time! Our server Brit was awesome and explained the menu so thoroughly. Inside had a retro vibe with cool vinyls as you walk in. The place was packed and busy but you could still have a conversation without screaming to be heard. Food was so good, we had the boogie nights pizza, half fried chicken and the Brussels sprouts salad. Loved their zero proof drinks too. The fried chicken was on the saltier side so something to keep in mind if you're sensitive to salt. Bathrooms were dark but I like the individual full stall rooms. Parking was easy too, there's plenty in the lot and also in the deck. Will def be back! Note: my photos don't highlight how good it is. (I forgot to take photos of the food when it first came out).

Yelp
If you're looking for a place that nails both flavor and service, Seagar and Sons is it. The moment we walked in, the staff was friendly and attentive without hovering. The atmosphere has that perfect balance of cozy and elevated -- classy enough for date night, but relaxed enough for a casual dinner with friends or family. The food was outstanding. Every dish came out hot, beautifully plated, and full of flavor. You can tell they care about ingredients and consistency. The food is delicious and don't skip dessert -- it's worth every bite. Service was top-notch: drinks stayed full, plates were cleared quickly, and our server checked on us just the right amount. It's rare to find a restaurant that executes both good food and good hospitality this well. Overall, Seagar and Sons is officially one of my Plano go-to spots. Delicious food, warm service, and a genuinely enjoyable dining experience. Highly recommend!

Yelp
The ambiance is awesome and the food was delicious too. Crab Rangoon dip was my favorite bite! Wish they had more nonalcoholic drink selection.
google avatar

Syeda H.

Yelp
Service and vibes here are top tier. Whether you choose to sit inside or outside, the ambiance is great. Along with that the service is prompt and helpful. I tried the Blues Brothers pizza. I like it, but found the giardiniera to overpower and make it a little too salty. My server was kind enough to let me try the Cacio e Pepe Fritters. Y'all I had just been to Italy and these fritters were still some of the best Italian things I've eaten. I liked that the dish isn't afraid of being spicy with the calabrian chilies, but the cheese helps balance it out perfectly. Im so glad I was able to try it, because it may be one of my favorite things now.
google avatar

Yelp
Big restaurant right in the small pond at this little boardwalk. Had a nice vibe inside. Server was friendly but a little slow at times. The crab rangoon dip was delicious and had actual crab chunks in it. The wonton chips were nice and crispy. The burger was ok but nothing special. I've had better before and probably wouldn't get here again.

Yelp
Had a great time here for a work Happy Hour! They have great food and drink deals, which is always hard to find! The service was great, and our server was attentive to our large group. We ordered a couple different drinks among the group, which were all pretty solid. I got the Cherry Coke Slush frozen drink which was good and a little strong. I also tried the skinny paloma. For our apps that we tried, and were shared amongst the table we tried: The mozzarella squares (these were delicious, so cheesy but so flavorful)- big enough to share and can cut them in half even to try if you're not feeling all the cheesy goodness. The Hawaii 5-0 meatballs- these were good, sweet and BBQ tasting The potato skins with lobster. These were also good, but prob best eaten when they first come out, got cold quickly and weren't as good to me then lol my own fault I guess because we were all sharing them. All in all, a solid place for Happy Hour, need to come back and try the fried chicken that they're known for! Heard it was amazing from some coworkers!

Yelp
FINALLY had a chance to try this gem and it was absolutely worth the wait!! Honestly, I wish I would've taken more pictures of the decor because everything was so cute!! The atmosphere was amazing and everyone was so nice!! When I booked my reservation, Mariah immediately reached out asking how they could make my visit special, it was such a sweet and thoughtful touch. Typically I'm used to reaching out to restaurants first when booking for a special occasion, so it was such a nice surprise that they reached out to me first. Our server's name was Mike and he was incredible and had the best recommendations. To start we did the Cacio e Pepe Fritters and the Chopped Chicken BLT Salad. Both were delicious!! The Calabrian chili sauce that came with the fritters was actually really spicy lol, so watch out!! For our entrees, we did the half bird and the burger with shells and cheese casserole and the Jojo potato wedges for our sides. Everything was so good and you can tell they used high-quality ingredients!! The fried chicken was juicy and packed with flavor and the green sauce really pushed everything over the top!! It lowkey reminds me of the Skhug sauce at Cava (which is my absolute FAVORITE), so that was definitely a win! We also got a few cocktails. The strawberry lavender lemon drop for me, and my man got the night moves. Both were fantastic!! To finish it all off we got the baked apple cinnamon roll and it was divine!! So yeah, all in all this place absolutely lives up to the hype - 10000/10 - HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!

Yelp
Loved the atmosphere-great 70s and 80s music, interior of the restaurant had half-circle dark brown leather booths and photos of singers on the wall and old album covers lining the walls of the front entrance. Friendly, attentive servers working in teams to bring out the cocktails and food fast. Their cocktails were also good- Foxy Lady and the Hotel California Spicy Margarita were refreshing and on point. We would order them again. We ordered their fried cheese appetizer, famous whole fried chicken, side of seasonal veggies- roasted kale and butternut squash--and roasted potato wedges and also their Jimmy- roasted sammie sandwich with a side of chips. The food was delicious, hearty portions and we had to take leftovers home because we could not finish it all. They also took reservations and had a covered parking garage very close to the restaurant! We noticed a nice private room in the back with a large big screen tv for large parties too. We highly recommend it.

Yelp
What a treat! This place is fantastic. We arrived on a Saturday night around 6 PM and were told there would be an hour and 15-minute wait, but we were pleasantly surprised when we were seated in just 40 minutes. The staff was professional, helpful, and friendly throughout the entire experience. We were very hungry, so we started with the crab Rangoon--absolutely delicious! I loved the light, puffy fried chips that came with it. For our main course, we shared the whole fried chicken with broccolini. The broccolini was nicely seasoned--crispier than I usually prefer, but still very tasty. The chicken itself was juicy and flavorful, and it came with two amazing dipping sauces: one was a sweet and spicy sauce, and the other was a vibrant green sauce I couldn't quite identify--but it was so good! I also had a lavender cocktail, which was light, refreshing, and not too sweet--just perfect. The venue is huge, with plenty of seating inside, at the bar, and even outside. The upbeat music and stylish décor create a really fun vibe. Can't wait to go back! Add this one to the love list!

Yelp
What a fantastic setting. Love all the Rock albums. We sat outside to take in the afternoon. My fried chicken was off the charts. Service was excellent. It's truly worth a try. M&D

Yelp
Apparently this place is owned by the same team behind Union Bear. (Which is just few doors over.) We are huge fans of UB so we checked it out. This place is huge! It has a bit of a nostalgia vibe, but not overly themed. Big tables, dark, and a great 70s and 80s playlist. Never thought I would be hearing Siouxsie and the Banshees playing Dear Prudence while dining in Frisco TX in 2025, but I did. Followed by Duran Duran's Rio. Started with a $5 salty snack of oyster crackers. These were underwhelming and I would suggest skipping. (We make oyster crackers and ours our so much more better.) These lacked flavor even though you could see seasoning. I used some of the black salt from my margarita to give them some flavor. Anyway, my son and I split the Whole Bird fried chicken. I was hoping it would come in a bucket, but it didn't. This was the best damn fried chicken I've ever had. (I am a big fan of Babe's.) It comes with 2 sauces - a spicy honey (that brought the heat) and green sauce (a pesto based cream). No real need for the sauces. The chicken was perfectly seasoned and crispy. We brought home a few pieces. Serving was huge. We also ordered a small Caesar Salad which was very good. (Small complaint - I found an entire base of the romaine lettuce stock in my salad. Which should have been tossed.) Mac and cheese was very creamy, not too cheesy. Big shells. The kids loved it. My daughter ordered the chicken and pickle pizza. Everyone shared a few slices and it was a hit. We will definitely be coming back. HUGE SERVINGS so be careful not to over order.

Yelp
Fantastic happy hour, amazing food, and incredible service. Our server Jordan took great care of us to ensure our visit was perfect. The vibes in there were very artistic and paid homage to a lot talented music legends. Loved to see all the vinyl right as you walked on. The stars of the show were the hot honey sauce that came with the half order of chicken. Really recommend getting a side of ranch and putting that and the sauce on your pizza -- top notch! Happy hour is weekday 2-6pm and they have great discounts on beer and wine. We had drafts and also tried their banana whiskey cocktail which was one of the best drinks I've ever had. Can't wait to come back!

Yelp
Loved trying this one! Great vibe and service. Quality food. Loved the fried chicken...It might have been an off night or just part of the recipe but it was overly salty. Loved the green sauce!

Yelp
Great no the greatest fried chicken I had ever had! Our server was pleasant and knowledgeable I can't wait to go back

Yelp
Drinks were GREAT! 4 STARS They have a Social Hour and have some discounted cocktails available during this time. I selected the Frozen Long Island. It was yummy and strong. My second cocktail was the Strawberry Lavender Martini. This was my favorite drink. It was delicious and had just the right amount of vodka. FOOD is pretty good. 3.5 STARS We shared a pizza and it was enough for the 4 of us. The pepperoni pizza was definitely full of pepperoni. We also shared half a bird. Crispy fried chicken which comes with two sauces. It came with leg, wing, breast and thigh. The sauces were tasty. Chicken fried perfectly. SERVICE 4 STARS Waiter was pleasant and helpful! AMBIANCE 4 STARS I love the vibe. It's nostalgic, cool and funky. The decor is like a 70's and 80's mix. It's cozy and comfy at the same time. It feels like my childhood home. I love the records. The music is good that they play. Overall I had a very good time. My mom enjoyed her birthday meal. The bonus was the yummy dessert. It was a cinnamon roll with ice cream and apples. It was delicately sweet and scrumptious. I am glad I finally had a chance to try this restaurant out.

Yelp
Sizzle-crisp-crunch- all the things you want when you bite into that hot piece of juicy fried chicken- yes, indeed. We did a pizza and fried chicken assortment and it was divine and delightful- we started with the crab rangoon dip and it was swoon-worthy- a few more pita chips would have be amazing, but we didn't ask so maybe next time- it's so buttery and bubbly and so so good! Get it immediately, immediately, yes! Service was spot on- our server was business- but professional- a few others servers stopped by to check in as well. Loved the decor, good food and great energy. The fried chicken was very tasty... and accompanied by a hot honey and chimmichurri sauce. Pizza was also delish- but maybe a crispier crust would make it a 10/10! Overall, very nice place. We will be back, sooner than later!

Yelp
We had a party of 12 people so we had to book online. Any more than that they would charge us for a private party. We were seated close to the reservation time, the server took care of us, and the atmosphere was nice for a group gathering. The Happy Hour drink specials were okay, but their drink menu is extensive and had wonderful options. For dinner, I had the Highbrow Pasta. It was tasty and filling. A lot of people at the table said the Mac and Cheese was amazing. Because Seagar & Sons shares a parking lot with many other restaurants, it was very difficult to find parking on a Friday at 5 pm. My recommendation is to get there earlier, much later, or possibly park in the nearby garage (I think you can park there).

Yelp
We had a really good lunch here. We had fried chicken, Mac n cheese and potato wedges. Everything was yummy. Fried chicken is not something I would normally order, but it seems to be their specialty and it did not disappoint. While there, another customer raved about their pizza so I will try that next time. I had fried chicken family style at another restaurant in Farmers Branch that was also their specialty but it wasn't as good and it was more expensive. My only disappointment is that I wish they had more sides to choose from. I'll definitely be back.

Yelp
My wife and I decided to try Seager & Sons for lunch and it was a great decision! The ambiance is very nice, has an old school music theme to it. We ordered 2 cocktails each and really enjoyed them! The waiter was super friendly, and gave us a lot of insight about the menu. He said the fried chicken was a must. We ordered the full bird and it was some of the best fried chicken we ever had. I know a lot of places claim to have the best fried chicken, so I really judge them when they do, and this was perfectly done. The chicken comes with 2 sauces, the sauce with honey was delicious. We ordered broccolini as a side which was also very tasty. The portion, quality and price point of the full chicken is well worth it. We had enough chicken to eat the next day for lunch. I will definitely be back whether it's for the chicken for the cocktails.

Yelp
The espresso martini was BOMB. Definitely loved it! The pizza was decent but not my favorite I've ever had. But still good! The only complaint was it was an insanely long wait for food and we were the only customers in there for about 20 minutes or more. But still spent about 1-1.5 hours there for 2 adults and a kid eating pizza.

Yelp
Once you step into Seager & Sons it's a vibe! The retro 70s meets upscale dining experience decor. The bar is huge with plenty of seating. We started off with cocktails. I had the LEAVING ON A PAPER PLANE and my husband had the BANANA BREAD OLD FASHIONED. Both cocktails were delicious and balanced well. The details with the paper plane paper clip was a great touch. Let's face it, I came here for the fried chicken because I heard it was great and it did not disappoint! We got the full bird to split between my husband and I. Along with a side of broccoli rabb. The chicken came out pipping hot and the skin was nice and crispy. The crunch when biting into the chicken was just right. The chicken was delicious to say the least. I loved the chipotle hot honey sauce but personally wasn't a fan of the green sauce. We felt the green sauce would be better suited for tacos. The Sautéed garlic broccolini was full of flavor and was really tasty. We indulged in the chicken only leaving the breast piece each which we decided to take to go. We opted for another cocktail over dessert as we were full. For the second round I had the MR. SEAGER'S SOUR. Which was amazing. I love a cocktail with egg white it in. My husband went with the BRUNCH MONEY MANHATTAN. He enjoyed it but preferred his first cocktail. Rey was our server and was PHENOMENAL! He was so kind and helpful, we would love to have him as our server again when we go back. Lo also stopped by our table and chatted with us and was great as well. She gave us a nice trick of heating up our leftover chicken in the air fryer for optimal taste the next day. Which we tried and it was an awesome tip. We were too full for desert but Rey sent us home with a Butterfinger icebox pie so that we could enjoy it later! This comes as a HUGE slice. Definitely good if you enjoy peanut butter and chocolate. If you're looking for Quality service and quality food, you don't want to skip out on this place. We will come back here time and time again!

Yelp
This is place is amazing. It has old school vibes with walls of old records. Good food and good vibes. My server Essa was amazing, I loved her energy. I recommend the Boogie Knights pizza, Crab Rangoon dip and Strawberry lavender lemon drop.

Yelp
Baked Crab Rangoon Dip, Fancy Potato Skins, Brussels Sprout Chop Salad, Fried Chicken Half Bird, Blues Brothers Pizza, Eggplant Parm, Butterfingers Ice Box Pie, Mac & Cheese This was one of the most satisfying meals. It's a new place opened in Plano with classic American options in a 1970s vibe. The interior is gorgeous with spacious round booths and tables. There's something in the menu for everyone, and with how hungry we were, we basically ordered the entire menu. And everything was absolutely spectacular. Highlights were the Rangoon Dip, mac & cheese, and the pizza for sure!!! The famous fried chicken is pretty good, the sauces are really the highlight for that dish. The drinks were also so fun and delicious. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and our food came out shockingly fast despite how busy this place was! The Butterfingers Ice Box Pie was a little too dense for me, very sweet, but quite yummy

Yelp
Visiting Dallas and we tried this spot on a whim! The whole experience was fabulous. The hostess went out of her way to get us seated quickly even though they were pretty busy and our actual waiter was so friendly! The inside is so cool with a music theme. It's on the darker side which makes it have a romantic/sexy feel. I had the frozen Long Island, it was tasty and packed a punch. The highlight of our meal was definitely the Crab Rangoon Dip appetizer, it was actually insane how good it was. We also split the Italian sandwich (I forget the name) it was also SO good and the pepperoni pizza was tasty. I will definitely make it a point to come here again o when back in Dallas!

Yelp
First time coming, and we enjoyed ourselves!! The service was top notch, great ambiance and decor, and menu was very reasonably priced! Highlight of the evening surprisingly was the crab Rangoon dip, with fresh wonton chips and the chili dipping sauce. Fried chicken with their homemade spicy honey was wonderful, and their bohemian rhapsody pizza had a nice spicy kick. Wish we had room for dessert - Imani our server was excellent. Can't wait to return.

Yelp
5/5 I came here with my fiancé on Monday, October 13, 2025, and we sat on the covered patio. Max was our server and he was excellent, very knowledgeable about the menu, kind, and genuinely friendly to talk to. My fiancé ordered the Pickled Pizza with chicken and I had the Fried Half Chicken. Both were phenomenal. I started with an espresso martini and finished it off with a Union Bear ale beer -- perfect combo. This was my first time visiting Seager & Sons and I was really impressed. The atmosphere, service, and food all exceeded expectations. I'm a food review guy so I'll definitely be spreading the word. I'll be back for sure. Thank you Max!

Yelp
So nice I went twice! Well not on purpose but a I did happen to go here twice in one week and have to say that both times I was extremely impressed. The styling of the restaurant gives 70's lounge vibes but is open and airy. The staff is amazing and service was on point for both visits. Their menu is very American focused with a lot to choose from for everyone. Their friend chicken is one of my favorites in Plano and with the hot honey sauce it's perfection. The burger was good and had great flavor profile with the white cheddar. The old bay seasoning on the chips reminded of back home so that was a plus. The people I went with got the pizzas and the all Pep's Up had great flavor and definitely worth the price. The Bohemian was good but could do with a little bit of edits as it had way too many toppings but you do get what you pay for. Overall I highly recommend them. Their great service, delicious food, and great vibes makes it a perfect place for a dinner night out.

Yelp
Great atmosphere and good drinks and food. It does get a little loud with music and noise from surrounding tables, so hard to talk to other people at the table. We really liked the appetizers and most of our entrees. The only issue we had was with the pizza, it was a little cold when it came out, but my husband didn't want to complain. Overall a good experience and will come back out. Our server, Essa, was excellent and the host staff at front door were friendly and attentive as well.

Yelp
I totally love the vibe, service, ambiance and aesthetic of this place. The wood paneling and color palette is nostalgic but tastefully done. The drink and food menus are super nice, offering a wide selection of tasty options. I tasted the Baked Crab Rangoon Dip and the Hotel California Rita and Strawberry Super Freak drinks. Me and my friend truly enjoyed and can't wait to check them out for happy hour.

Yelp
OKUR!!!! Can we say AMAZINGGGGGGG! My husband and I decided on a whim to come here after going to Scheels and brought our 7 month old son. They were not only extremely nice, but super welcoming and considerate of our son. This is a swanky vibey place so one would think that bringing a kid would be awkward/frowned upon, but they even complimented our lil man. Not just that, our server was exceptional. His name was Chris. I told him we were picky about cocktails and each one recommended was amazing. My husband had the Rocketman and the Banana bread old fashioned and I had the Mr. Seagers sour and the Leaving on a paper plane. We were impressed by all of them. The fried chicken was MOUTH WATERING and no....nobody is paying me for this review LOL I'm so serious. My husband and I live all the way in north Fort Worth and we would drive here in a heartbeat to eat here religiously, portions are big and you totally get what you pay for. We had the Cacio e Pepe Fritters, the half plate of fried chicken and the Boogie Nights,

Yelp
Located in the cutest little plaza decorated with lots of lights, games, and firepits, it only makes sense that they would house an equally vibey restaurant! I can see Seager & Sons being a hot spot, with their amazing interior design, the on theme menu items, and their ridiculously friendly wait staff. We got the boogie pizza, which was pretty good! The crust was really bready and chewy (which is a good thing for me) but also a little dry. And they don't skimp on toppings! This was basically a fried chicken and pickle pizza, so make sure you're in a pickle mood before you order this. I kinda wish there was more hot honey because it was a little lacking in the spice and sweet categories. But it was a decent size, and can probably be good for two people to share. The highbrow pasta was really delicious! The sauce was so creamy and cheesy, would definitely get that one again next time.

Yelp
Had a fantastic dinner at Seager and sons. The wait staff was incredible. Knowledge of the menu was fantastic and they made sure to take care of us as guests. The restaurant is beautiful. Super modern swanky vibe with cool musician based art work everywhere. But the food is incredible. I had their signature fried chicken with mac and cheese and potato wedges and I would literally go back every day just for that. Definitely worth checking out.

Yelp
Interesting theme restaurant and not in your face with it! Servers were very attentive even during a busy lunch hour. I had the mozzarella app and Fried chicken. Both were good - and extra crispy! Mozzarella sticks were huge. For dessert there are only two options and we tried both. A little disappointed. Definitely would come back.
