SeaGrass Restaurant

Very good. Great service and the food was excellent. Nice interior with comfortable seating and the server was attentive and very good. We enjoyed our time and would definitely come back. Very cool tropical fish tank inside and lots of neat art prints to add to the ambiance. Salad and appetizers were great and would recommend them. The baked cod was so good.

OK, so I know it’s half-price Wednesday but ….I just ordered the seared scallop salad takeout. On the menu it is priced at $22 . Opened the box to find three baby scallops each the size of a quarter. Come on really? I can’t imagine a server putting this in front of me at the restaurant. I usually love this place, but this was very disappointing. I won’t return and that is saying something since I live a block away.

I recently dined at Seagrass Restaurant in Ocean Grove on a Thursday night. Although they advertised a three-course prix fixe dinner, I wasn’t expecting much since places that offer these deals often fall short on quality. However, I was pleasantly surprised! From our attentive server to the gentleman who delivered our meals, everything was excellent. The salad, entrée, and dessert were absolutely fabulous. I hadn’t been here in years, but after this experience, I plan to return more often. Highly recommend—and it’s BYOB!

We were walking around Ocean Grove trying to find some grub and came across this place. I'm so glad we did. First let me say that the service was impressive. Our waitress was so on it. She paid attention to when we were ready and filled our water regularly. She was quick and efficient. The food was delicious! My son had the pulled pork sandwich, I had the Shrimp Po' Boy and my youngest had the Bacon Cheddar Burger. All 3 meals were excellent in taste and temperature. LOVED the fries! Perfect portions. I'm looking forward to our next visit there to try the Crabcakes!

Consistently good food. Seafood is always fresh and menu has been elevated over the years. I didn’t give it 5 stars as the crab cake was fried too much burning the panko crumb exterior but the crab cake under the crust was delicious. The white bean and sausage soup was watery and bland and more of a broth with very little beans. My fellow diners enjoyed their cod and ahi tuna and my salmon topped with shrimp was also good. Service was a little slow and inconsistent but there is always a crowd. Would definitely go back when in the area again.

In the evening, we walked along the beautiful streets of Ocean Groove, admiring the Victorian villas, to this nice restaurant. We had a bottle of good white wine with us, for which the friendly waiter brought a cooler and served our wine with the delicious meal. The evening was warm, so we sat at a table outside on a quiet street. I had Escargots as starter and Mahi Mahi for main course, which were both really good, my companion's Scallops were also excellent. The restaurant's price level is reasonable considering the high quality. We can recommend this place!

This was a lovely lunch spot for our team during our recent retreat in town. The staff was kind and accommodating. The food was delicious and everyone got their food at the same time. They did a wonderful job working with my shellfish allergy and weren't stuffy at all about tweaking your entree to make it to your liking. Couldn't decide on a dressing, our waitress brought out both. The food was so yummy, and the blackened salmon on my salad was one of the best things I ate all retreat. The vibe is sweet. The area gives small town downtown meets beach bum, but the SeaGrass manages to be classy but not stuffy. Indoors is nicely appointed with cozy seating and relaxed decor. They even have an outdoor area with cute seating if you can't pry yourself away from the sunshine. Check them out. Your tummy will thank you 😊

We had a very nice experience here. The food was good, and the service was great. They don't serve alcohol, so it's BYOB, which is a plus.
