This was y second time here. Absolutely the best for a beach day with friends and live music! Lots of seating mostly in the sun, there are umbrellas and covered dining. Came to see a band The Burning Doors! They rocked! Ordered water and onion rings and adult beverages. Menu looked good, Bathrooms could use some cleaning during the day, but they ate plenty.

NOTE - This place closes when they have a reservations from a private party but don’t notify the public online. We arrange people to meet at this place for a brunch and mimosas. We checked online to make sure there would be music and the hours they would be serving brunch. Unfortunately when we arrived the entire facility was CLOSED!!! Unacceptable for all those arriving and after paying for parking only to be told they’re closed.

I thought I had been here before but I guess not. I had a fun time, ran into people I haven't seen in almost 30 years, reconnected with people I haven't seen in at least 6 years & met new people. The band was fun. Good X. The parking was a bit of a nightmare but I found a free spot on the street even though it was a little bit of a walk it's always a great time to get exercise.

Google
Fun for listening to music in the sun. We like the Walrus cover band, Breakfast with the Beatles. Kid friendly too! They only accept ATM or credit cards.

Imagine coming to area from out of state & having planned a day here. Calendar says it’s open. Drive to state park, pay $20 to get in park, unload car & dog, walk over to SeaLegs 10min to open. Poster hanging there says live 80s music on Sat 10-1, website calendar still says it’s happening. NOPE. Apparently they had a private event later in the day so decided not to open to public at all that day😡. Super messed up. Other couple we talked to planned & had rode their bicycles 10 miles to SeaLegs to see the band only to find it not happening like we did. Not cool!

Google
Always a nice Sunday Brunch with the Beatles, a hidden value in Bolsa Chica with excellent vibes and music. The music itself brings out a nice crowd, even if Huntington Beach is weird these days. Great location, good music, and excellent atmosphere!

Google
SeaLegs is always a fun spot to visit, especially with its prime location right on the beach. On weekends, it gets lively with live entertainment and a packed crowd. The chairs and tables are set directly on the sand, offering a great view. For a more relaxed atmosphere, I suggest coming early in the morning before the entertainment kicks off or visiting on weekdays. The service is consistently friendly and attentive, with great food and drinks to match. It’s always a fantastic experience here!

Google
Parking right next to the shop! They have BEACH RULES (image attached) - happy Dads are visible. Food is alright: burgers, fries, burritos - beach fast food sorta but ok. There are gigantic seats, really funny to sit in and to enjoy the music. Weather, people watching, listen to bands - all in all happy vibes, I'd say. Water was a bit too expensive tho.

Geronimo T.

Yelp
Been here many times. Great atmosphere to chill at beach side. You can order some beverages and food and relax at one of the beach chairs provided. Everyone is pretty cool especially when the live band is vibing. I usually come here in the summer. Sundays are mostly reggae and others is classic rock or country. I enjoy this place. A true GEM in the OC. If it is a nice day in So Cal, you can guarantee this place will be vibing with good drinks and music. A go to place if you are in Orange County California!

Yelp
Ambiance is EVERYTHING. This is the best thing thats happened to this beach EVER! SO much fun, dancing in the sand, drinking champagne, dog friendly and listening to a really REALLY good Beatles cover band. I LOVE IT!!!!!!

Angel B.

Yelp
This outdoor venue hosted a comedy show recently. It's located in Bolsa Chica state beach at the end of the parking lot. Closer to the Jack in the Box. It's $15 to park. There is plenty of seating in the sand. Remember to bring appropriate shoes or no shoes at all. The venue itself is dog friendly. As long as you are on the side of the venue. The food is cheaper than you think. I ordered a pull pork with fries and 3 piece tender and dry for $15 each. Beers are $10 or you can get a bucket of 6 for a few bucks less. It's cash less so bring plastic. All around pretty fun place to have some fun It gets a little chilly when sun goes down so bring a blanket or sweatshirt.

Khrystyna C.

Yelp
Great location and fun for music, dancing and even comedy at times. Right on the beach. Good beer and wine and cocktail selections.

Sherri H.

Yelp
Music, comedy sunset and the ocean. A perfect combination for relaxation. Add family and friends and you're gonna have a good time. The cocktails are good and the food portions are large. The entertainment range is from incredible to oh no. but well balanced. I recommend to use the restrooms early. After that use at your own risk. Service is good.

Yelp
Awesome chill spot on the beach. Just visited for a bike outing with my buddies. Great selection of drinks, but prices can be better.

Mike M.

Yelp
This place is so cool. I'm not sure how one lady can secure a contract with the city and state to take over some old stanky snack bars and turn them into to bars and restaurants but, somehow, she was able to pull it off. She now runs like six of these places and this one is my favorite. Strong cocktails, nice servers, tasty grub, live music and nestled between the parking lot and the bike path. Great views, sunsets, people watching and lots of sun.

Frank D.

Yelp
Love this place , they always have good entertainment, And the food is always very good . The bar tenders are always on point serving ice cold drinks . Sealegs makes the beach experience Very memorable. They are always improving from the very friendly security guards and the The ambience , well kept up ! And what away to start your Sunday , "Breakfast with the Beatles" Keep up the good work !

H B.

Yelp
When first opened this was an awesome take on an elevated beach snack shop. At their inception they had a fantastic avocado toast. Fast forward to today, it's barely a smear of avocado on a bed of anemic, limp white warmed bread. It may be expected, but I did have high hopes. Entertainment, drinks and locale, remain unaffected.

Mike D.

Yelp
On one hand I really love the music on the beach of sealegs, sea salt, pacific kitchen etc... but I was warned about how they charge your card. BTW They don't take cash. Well sure enough because I heard the "tip" percentage they charge was way off and tonight I checked my credit card and a $15 burger was charged $18.61 with no tip on card ( Because- I put cash in the jar).... Slippery... . I really like the place, but when they do this it doesn't make me want to actually buy anything there, because apart from no cash and my credit card getting changed funky...

Vhannessa R.

Yelp
I spent my birthday here May2024 and i had the best time ever! The ambiance is incredible and very family friendly. They have different live bands that make you feel as if you are at a concert which I think is super cool! It's very convenient that they sell food and serve alcoholic beverages. The best part is it's precisely on the beach. I look forward on going back soon!

Dave P.

Yelp
Recommended place to go on a nice ride from HB to Seal Beach 2 weeks ago. Bruno Mars cover band playing, vibe was good so we parked bikes and sat to listen. Decided to order some the chicken taco and chips platter and a Pacifico which was cold and on spot. On the other hand the Chicken tacos were a disaster. Over 1hr wait for 3 measly tacos, chicken so dry, cold and hard I wondered if it was chicken jerky or was it imitation chicken. Either way, awful food and terrible service, won't be eating here again.

Garnie B.

Yelp
Was for a corporate event Music was cool as the band had us dancing Make sure you bring a jacket for the cool evening, because the wind can make it uncomfortable They had fire pits and heaters as needed Food was served by the staff and since it was set for 150 people, we had cold food... Nice venue, great band but poor execution for food and such

Mike F.

Yelp
We ordered a cabana on Sunday for live reggae music the band barely played they had power issues $200 down the drain won't be doing this again.

Melanie B.

Yelp
Be aware of this place will scam your credit card at the bar. I bought a quesadilla which was suppose to be $14 and two cokes at $4 each, the receipt they gave me said $23.71 with the tax but when I got an alert on my phone it said I was charged $33.73! I went back up to the bar they played stupid and tried to say it was the tip which I knew that was incorrect, anyways they wouldn't refund the difference but offered two free drinks, it kind of made up for it but I would have rather been charged the correct amount from the start. Caution: as I see other reviews on here about being over charged by this place.

J H.

Yelp
More like sea scams at the beach, they serve nasty stale chips with their nachos, and they grossly overcharge you if you're not looking. Instead of refunding they just remake the same nasty food with extra lime squeezed on top to mask the nasty food they serve. Wtf happened to this place? Invest in a proper chef, stop serving nasty food and week old stale chips.

Opal F.

Yelp
I parked in Bolsa Chica SB parking lot, (day) $15 fee Explored other options, but proximity was worth it to me SeaLegs at The Beach is in fact at the beach Sand and ocean just within reach Possible age check to enter in Free music for the win Triple thread, heard Sunday Probably my first live exposure to reggae Plenty of seating Accomodates a single, pair, or group meeting Seating comfort alone, high I wouldn't rate But, for the setting, not an unrealistic fate I saw people with a loaded nacho or fries tray To satisfy hunger, guess there's a way A man near me returned without a drink High cost, guess he gave it a second think "Gas money," he said I giggled and just nodded my head If you like free music, drinks, and the shore Look them up, plan a date, have fun, and explore! xoxo -Op

Yelp
The vibes were great. Live music was amazing! And so was the set up for the outdoor seating. I would pass on the food and eat something beforehand. We waited an hour for ours and it was not very good. Don't order the Greek salad - no flavor at all unfortunately.

Kevin A.

Yelp
Ok, things are a bit better now. Great location to see a concert. The one big problem is still the bathroom situation. The bathrooms are public, very dirty. No soap. The bathrooms are for the venue and all the people on the beach. It can take 5-10 minutes in line to use the bathroom.

Romy W.

Yelp
Music is Great food is good but the bartender with nose ring is rude and no personality. Guy behind food counter was lazy. 2 weeks in a row. Won't eat here again. Just bad customer service.

Deanna Z.

Yelp
What a blast we had with Richard Blade! They have such fun bands. Always a great time.

Coco V.

Yelp
Came here on a hot Saturday afternoon and it was a happening place. They had a love coverband with outdoor seating. You can rent out cabanas, fire pits but they have benches as well. The staff was really nice. One of the. At tenders made us her own concoction I think she calls the dole whip. It's got coconut rum, pineapple juice whipped cream and maybe something else. But it was super yummy. We're going back to do the bottomless mimosa brunch and country night. Can't wait!

Diane A.

Yelp
I bought several glasses of wine and the sign said $12 and I was charged $15.09 every time on my Amer Ex card. I called them out and they said well our wine is $14.00. It is posted. $12.00. It is wrong they replied. Well then change it! but don't charge the price that is not posted!!!! Unacceptable!!!!!!

Diana W.

Yelp
Sunday great times! Live music, leashed and floored furbabies (dogs) allowed only within this bar and parking lot walkway to the bar. Simple food and drinks like hard seltzer, beer, etc. Plenty of seats. Restroom next door. Just don't wash your stamp off (left under wrist) to get in and out. Security at openings. They're strict about no outside drinks and food. Parking: $15-$20 beach parking. Bring cash to get through just a tiny bit faster than credit card payers.

Ramona V.

Yelp
False Advertising on their 10am-1pm Saturday Doggie Dog Brunch - no special brunch menu as advertised (only choice of their awful breakfast burrito or bowl until noon) - no free tennis balls and dog treats as advertised. But what really annoyed us was that they would not even give us water for our dogs!!! We had to source our own water or buy their bottled water for our pups!!! even though all five of us bought food from them. It was so embarrassing because I invited other dog owners for this July 1st event! Awful food and awful service! And we each paid $20 parking for this event. What a waste of time and money! To the owner/manager of SeaLegs - please do not advertise your Saturday Doggie Dog Brunch on Facebook if you're not going to honor what you stated in your event - there was no special brunch menu nor balls/treats for the dogs. I would have given you zero star (unfortunately, that's not an option here on Yelp) - because you refused to give us any water for our dogs!!!

Patrick A.

Yelp
terrible food and service. food is way overpriced. the girl couldn't make up her mind if she was gonna have time to brew coffee. would not waste my time coming back here - there are other spots with live music on Sunday mornings.

carla s.

Yelp
I only came because my favorite tribute band was playing and it was close to home. The sound was good and it was nice to see the band in a small venue. Downsides are public bathrooms, no hard alcohol, and $20 parking fee. If you're a beer drinking, beach lover who loves live then this is the place for you. I prefer cocktails with clean bathrooms.

Alex G.

Yelp
these two freddy and eloese helpful and friendly love there company no one does it better

Alex L.

Yelp
SeaLegs is reopened! I can't speak much for the food or drinks except for this as a concert venue...and as a concert venue, this place is definitely 5-stars! Music on the beach...with accessible drinks. How can that not be 5-stars?! I came here for the season reopening and celebration of Bradley from Sublime with Burritos playing cover music and the show was amazing. I got a drink (fizzy water) from the bar, but didn't try any of the food. If ya like live music by the beach, definitely consider coming here. Yes, the bathrooms aren't the best...and it sucks having to pay $15 to park here, but the atmosphere by the beach is hard to be beat and it's worth paying for! Especially for a great show on a bright, sunny day.

Sonya N.

Yelp
Chill night at the beach with decent food. All food and drink is walk and order which was fine with me just lines get a little long so order everything at once

Kasey K.

Yelp
Went last weekend for 90's Brunch. Band was awesome, but margaritas were terrible and when I switched to a tequila soda, it was flat and literally the worst tasting tequila I've ever had. Breakfast burrito with sausage was dry and potatoes were ice cold. Kitchen staff needs to step their game desperately! Also need to replace all of the broken umbrellas. Only 4 umbrellas for all of those tables. Will not be back.

Vincent N.

Yelp
Got to see Orchid Quartet at the beach. It was a pretty nice experience, the performance was approximately one hour. If you are going at night, recommend bringing a blanket as it could get pretty cold. Some of the more premium seatings have a fireplace next to the seating. Some seatings have tables some are just chairs only. Doesn't matter where you sit, you will have a good view of the stage. Ordered chicken tacos, carne asada nachos, and some beer. Prices are definitely on the higher side (expect baseball stadium prices, but a little better quality), but taste wise is pretty decent. Overall it was a fun experience.

Heather C.

Yelp
It was my first time here for Sunday brunch. The food was horrible, I found a staple in my potato bowl. We ordered two bloody Mary's at the bar, paid. The bartender left to go in the back and never came back to actually make the bloody Mary's. Another bartender had to help us about 10 minutes later while we were still standing there confused. The only good thing was the Beatles cover band and the fact it was on the beach.

Tunie P.

Yelp
Although the setting and music is the main draw to the location and it's probably good spot to drop in on if you're a small group but DON'T try to schedule any more than that. We paid to reserve cabana and fire pit space for large family party held at the beach a week ago. It was a disaster! I arrived on the day of my event to find things were not what I had planned with the event coordinator, she must not work on site. Staff and manager at sea legs were friendly and tried to accommodate but it was just a big disappointment.

Margie S.

Yelp
The food was good & not too expensive! They didn't have nonalcoholic beers for people like me who are taking meds. Other than that, the venue was very good with plenty of seating, the music & ambiance were amazing!

Mike P.

Yelp
We celebrated my wife's birthday at this place. And we had a really good time. Kelso took care of us and it was a great time

Debbie G.

Yelp
It's a beautiful space. I recommend making reservations if you have a big group and it's a summer weekend. Austin is responsive. Hopefully an update to follow.

Hayley H.

Yelp
I finally found my Sealegs! Sealegs is one of my all time favorite 'bars' in Huntington Beach! This outdoor beach venue sits ocean side, hosts live music, and serves tasty (yet expensive) beverages. Typically on weekends they have a variety of live bands, including country cover bands on Saturdays and reggae on Sundays. You aren't able to bring any food or beverage into the venue, but they do allow towels and other beach gear. If you're looking to visit on a summer weekend, I highly recommend renting one of their cabana or fire pits in advance - seating can be hard to come by! The crowd can be a mix of both rowdy and laid back depending on the day you visit.. but either way, it's a guaranteed blast.

Kristen E.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I attended a Candlelight event put on by Fever at Sea Legs. We saw Orchid Quartet. The music was decent, but the rest of the event was terrible. The event was a good idea, but very poorly executed. The event was WAY overpriced for the experience. And the customer service -- at every aspect of the event -- was terrible. Everyone was rude and gave off a sense of superiority. The ONLY person who was friendly was the bouncer. In addition to the $80 we paid for the tickets, it was $15 to park, and $36 for a small bottle of Arrowhead water, a Red Bull, a very plain grilled cheese sandwich, and some cold nachos with very little cheese. I was told I was not allowed to bring my water bottle in the venue with me. Never have I been told I had to take a water bottle back to my car at any event, venue, theater or stadium in all my life. The seats were uncomfortable, and provided a poor view for anyone who wasn't sitting front and center. But the worst was the awful smoke from the fire pits. It made my boyfriend and I sick to our stomachs because the wind blew it in our direction during the entire show. My eyes were stinging from it, as well. And as we looked around, we noticed many, many people struggling with the smoke in their faces. I can't imagine why this was a thing. Even the people sitting around the fire ring looked miserable. Had I known fire pits would be near the seats I purchased, I wouldn't have made the purchase. My boyfriend and I agreed that we will NOT be returning to another one of these events. We were so looking forward to having a nice evening out, and instead couldn't wait to leave.

Ria R.

Yelp
We went on 5/15/22 to check out the live reggae music at Sea Legs at the Beach. Above score of 2 stars is for the venue -Set up was okay for a beach entertainment venue - plenty of seating and table area for audience -sound system was loud Score of 0 stars for Dana the manager. Absolute worst customer service from him. -Ordered 2 chicken tenders/fries and 1 cheeseburger/fries from Dana who was working the register at the time -waited approximately 60 minutes for food order to be delivered (with the help of Casey) -Dana never placed the order to the kitchen and lied that someone else probably picked it up when we asked about our orders after the first 30 minutes of waiting -Dana said he would replace the order and never did after waiting another 30 minutes -Dana had a rude attitude when asked what happened to our food order and why it was taking long Score of 5 STARS for Casey -employee at the register who helped us after waiting an hour for our food -Casey rushed back to the kitchen and got our three orders quickly after we told her what happened -Casey refunded our money back and apologized for the wait and experience with Dana -Casey was extremely helpful and understood our frustration and noticed that we were hangry at that point -Thank you again Casey We got the impression that there has been alot of complaints towards Dana and his customer service or lack of.

Christina W.

Yelp
2 stars because sitting on the beach was nice. saw beatles cover band.. they played a few of the main songs but not yesterday or here comes the sun .. they said come back tomorrow. kinda lame since they spent 15 minutes singing happy birthday? anyways the food was absolutely inedible. i got french toast. it's literally 2 pieces of fried baguette with powdered sugar on top , and a few cut up strawberries on the side. no syrup left ??? why wasn't i told before? disgusting and disappointing. my friend got avo toast, honestly just sad and soggy. well we blacked out from the mimosas since we didn't eat lol. bathrooms were really gross and out of toilet paper, it's literally those stall bathrooms with no lights you see in venice. anyways, the mimosas , music, and sand were nice. might as well just stop with the food, switch to snacks, and make themselves a music venue.

Susan N.

Yelp
Great people friendly and they love dogs. They make you feel welcome Make your day special at the beach and stop in T Sealegs. The new chief Tessa is amazing

Rafael G.

Yelp
Great service and entertainment!so nice to have a dog and kid friendly venue! Great for also.

Shannan E.

Yelp
Really bad food, I wouldn't eat here. Burgers were raw in the middle and the poke bowl hurt my stomach.

Jennafer K.

Yelp
SUCH A CLASSY RESTAURANT GROUP ! I paid for and reserved the fire pit for this weekend to see Yachty By Nature. Unfortunately they had to cancel because they got Covid. Ali, the gal who handles reservations emailed me immediately to give me the sad news as well as my options. Fortunately they were able to RE apply my fire pit reservation to a future date. I wasn't sure how this was going to be handled, so I was thrilled at the professionalism and customer service. SEALEGS is a pure treasure in HB !!! Such a well oiled machine

Bruce S.

Yelp
Great place on the beach for concerts and hanging out. Their hours have been a bit spotty sine the pandemic started. Beach attire is always appropriate but bring something warm for chilly evening events. SeaLegs is best done with friends. If you Uber, it is a 5 minute walk from the drop off. Since it is inside the state park, you will need to pay for parking if you want to park right at SeaLegs.

Julie C.

Yelp
Went here on Saturday and spent the entire day there. A No Doubt cover band played for hours and I think they played every song recorded by No Doubt. It was great! Lots of seating room and we sat at the beach most of the time, across the way with a great view of the band. Would definitely go here again. Didn't eat though.

Brandon M.

Yelp
I went up to the front door guy and asked him about how I can find seating or reservations for seating and he shoved a hot dog in his mouth and rolled his eyes. I then proceeded to ask who I can speak with to get chair, he then said look around the edges and find something. I politely told him I've checked everything and there's nothing available. He just stared me in the eyes, said YEP then shoved more food in his mouth. Owners of this bar should fire this guy. He's a total tool, heard of customer service? They guy embodies the opposite. I'm a local and will advocate heavily to everyone who ask me where to go, to NOT go here. Plus this place smells like pot everywhere. Someone do their damn job here. It's outrageous.
