Planned a "goodbye" lunch for a coworker on Friday, August 2nd at Seamores.
We called ahead of time in order make reservations but was told by the GM it's better to just come and occupy whatever tables were available.
So we came to the location and then we were told that we cannot do that, given we were a party of 7. So we were deciding if we should go to another location, and as we were about to leave to another restaurant, the waiter stopped us and said that we could just place the tables together.
Later on the GM, Joe I believe was his name, came to our table and gave a speech about how they get very busy on Friday and that we should've called ahead of time to help them prepare. At this point, I was pretty upset since we did try do that. On top of that the experience we were given when we got there wasnt that good either.
Several instances when I personally approached Joe to get a drink or ask about a few plates that we ordered since it was taking a while, and was flat out told to speak with the waiter that was serving us.
To be honest, it wasnt that busy and customers who wanted to sit in, had ample space even with our party of 7.
Given I can only speak for this specific location. Even then, I can't help but have this subpar, or lack of a better word, horrible experience stuck in my head now everytime Seamores will be brought up.
