The Best Irish Pubs in Las Vegas, According to Eater Editors | Eater Vegas

"With four area locations, Sean Patrick’s is by far the most ubiquitous option for Irish bars in Las Vegas. Find bangers and mash, pints of Guinness, and half-off drinks every day from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and 12 a.m. to 2 a.m. — plus $6 personal pizzas. Outdoor seating and billiards make it a casual spot to enjoy an afternoon." - Janna Karel

My first visit to this establishment came about on the first Sunday in March. A brunch fitting for an after mass service. The dessert breeze came about with a calming warmth. The familiar first sign of springtime. Just as St. Patrick Day preparations serve as reminders of the years' first outdoor festivals. As I entered the parking lot, i noticed the towering London time clock. At a quick glance, it appears antique museum piece. Rather than a city landmark or village centerpiece as it once was intended for. A displaced monument of the past. Yet everso timelessly fitting, much like any old style irish tavern. Although that midday hamburger platter and Bloody Mary brunch seemed particularly timeless. A tavern with a respectful atmosphere. A time when irish taverns were once called a place solitude. A place men of holiness gathered beside the knights of Templar. Most like this taverns secluded back pool table room. Rooms entailed with vaulted like doors embedded in the walls. Instead of bar stools, the center table was seated with wooden throwns. Craftmanship Carved for royalty or designed for cathedrals. The walls of each room displayed the tales of Irish history. But unlike the modern sigma passed down from the 19th and 20th centuries, The walls did not consist of sports banners. Nor the images of fighting immigrants surviving through the great depression. On these walls, share the words spoken by minds of Freemasons. The essence of celtic pagans. In this pub, a stained glass is not a dirty mug. They are the windows of irish churches. A Bloody Mary is served as a Sunday wine. It's not an ailment for a Saturday night hangover. Perhaps the sense of timelessness within Sean Patrick's. Could be their dedication to a different time in Irish history. Perhaps the indifference is the name. Instead of a century long tradition of outlandish humorously pub names. Which modern Americans have grown foundly accustomed to. The name of Sean Patrick is allure to a much deeper dedication to the Irish heritage. One that could define the true origin of the infamous Staint Patrick. Nonetheless, for me personally. The sense of a timeless Sunday brunch. Was the remembrance of what a restful springtime Sunday was at one time. And the peaceful leisure it was intended for.

Ordered corned beef and cabbage to go like I have for the last two years. Two years ago was excellent, last year too spicy and this year was bland. I can deal with the changes that's why I've came back, but after the etiquette shown tonight from a bartender, I will never return. First my husband tried to pay with cash when the bartender stated card was preferred. My husband watch him head to a back register, take out his phone and what looked to be as he was taking pics of the card. When asked he said he was just checking his text messages. My husband felt unsettled. Came home with the to go order and called to speak to a manager who was not helpful and basically just said to monitor the card purchases. Well that card is now cancelled, funds withdrawaln and we now have to wait days for our new card. Thanks Sean Patrick's. Maybe start implementing a no cell phone policy while on the clock, especially around registers.

Nice seats and fun little Irish place, wings were good, lightly battered… quite expensive for 5 wings!! $15! Bartender was great…. Knew his stuff! Comfy atmosphere with couches, chess, pool, and awesome catholic pews!

Love coming in here for drinks and/or food on my way home from work. Have always had friendly, quick service. Happy hour specials are great, especially the $10 personal pizza/boneless wings deal.

Smoker friendly … because it’s an actual cigar bar! Awwww. Vegas. This “Irish Pub” wasn’t very Irish-ish except in name and some decor. The keno machines in bar kinda took away from the whole “Irish” aspect. They were playing today’s best music, not Irish. Always a disappointment for me to hope for a real Irish pub and be let down like that. The bartender was less than friendly. She stayed over by what appeared to be her locals. She was also hard of hearing so I had to yell to even order which was awkward for me. Those loaded tatchos are the ONLY reason I’m giving 3 stars. They were fantastic.

Google
Server did not acknowledge us for 15 minutes and was inattentive during our time there. The corned beef and cabbage was served almost cold on a paper plate with cheap plastic utensils. The soda bread was laid on top of the cabbage broth and was soaked an inedible. The corned beef was tasty but the rest was meh.

Had been looking forward to going to Sean Patrick's for a long time. This is NOT the pre-covid Irish Pub we were used to at all! Went on Thursday around 5pm. It wasn't too busy. Bartender saw us when we walked in and said it was fine to sit on the restaurant side. Waited there for a while (like 15 minutes) before he remembered we were there. Told us after waiting they had no waitresses, so we moved to the bar side. Ordered our drinks and my favorite countryside potato soup. It was just ok but extremely thick and not what it used to be. I was hungry so I ate it. We then ordered our main meal. Bikini wrap for myself and my husband ordered the Reuben. The Reuben tasted ok but was very small and not worth the $16 they charge. My bikini wrap was absolutely DISGUSTING! I asked for no red onions but it did have some and it was supposed to have ranch dressing. I have never tasted a "dressing" like the one on it. It was not white and was not ranch. I've had most salad dressings and this was something else. I would like the bartender/cook to tell me what it was (or maybe I don't want to know). The bartender went back to the kitchen for awhile before our food came out. It just makes me wonder. And I couldn't get the disgusting taste out of my mouth for the whole night. The fries were undercooked as well. Guess you are allowed to smoke nasty, stinky cigars in here while food is being served. Annoying to go to the restroom which was dirty and having a drunk woman taking up the whole sink area oblivious to me being there. We used to love this Sean Patrick's location. It was the only Irish Pub we went to and the bartender said they are transitioning it to a gaming bar. Hey, why not? There are a million gaming bars on every block in this town. So disappointing. We'll never return here.

Make sure to visit the Sean Patrick's near Buffalo! The bartender took care of us, and he exceeded our expectations! We stopped in on our first night for dinner, and the food was terrific, and the portions were huge! We had nachos, a Reuben sandwich, and chicken bacon quesadillas, all for under $50!!! We will definitely return to this restaurant! (especially since I share the same first and middle name!

Yelp
We were a party of 3, and when we went in we were greeted by John who actually sat down and chatted with us. He really was super attentive and made us feel very special. The bar/restaurant has a very cozy feel with a beautiful fireplace and warm furnishings. We ordered the Egg Rolls with corned beef and cabbage appetizer, and each chose to have Shepard's Pie. It was ALL delicious! I can't wait to go back!!
google avatar

Yelp
We for the corned beef and cabbage. It was dry, leathery, and hard to swallow. Cabbage was also tough! The canned potatoes we good! I'm super sad!! Maybe have a few drinks before eating here, Maybe I just ordered the wrong thing... it says their wings are amazing... They raved about the corned beef n cabbage... maybe an off day? Maybe the meat was just old? I'll try again in a few months.

Yelp
Two of us sat at the bar to wait for our 3 friends. Got service pretty fast but weren't made to feel real comfortable. Friends arrived about 30 min. later and we all wanted to have dinner but when we found out there was no dedicated server we all left. How can a pub with such a nice menu not have a server and only one bar tender who would be the server? That made us feel like we were not going to get much attention in the dining area, so we left. We are locals and go to a lot of the pubs and we gamble. Most are really good, but we have noticed that PT's pubs have really scaled down their menu's. That is disappointing.

Yelp
Visited Taylor on my way home and I'm glad I did! At the time I was there it was pretty quiet in there so it was nice hang out and decompress after work. The bartender was very friendly and was good conversation. I didn't order any food, but the drinks were tasty!
google avatar

Catherine K.

Yelp
The food was mediocre at best. The ambiance was that of a bar that you've been to before. Nothing special here. Service was the worst, took forever to get food that looked like it was sitting under chaffing pans for hours.
google avatar

Carl S.

Yelp
Went here for the first time. Felt like I was interrupting the bartender. They only had one other person in the place. Not sure how the food I as the kitchen does not open for lunch till 12:00. Beer was cold
google avatar

JOanne A.

Yelp
She's a bar, bar and the place is a tad smokey (she's got gaming too) but they have the beers, great staff and more importantly-- they have shuffle board! We were on a hunt for a place with shuffle board (my favorite bar game EVER) and Sean Patrick's was the first to come to mind. I hadn't been to this location in a long time but it was great to take out of towners (out of country-ers more like) and show them what the local bar scenes are like in Vegas. Love this place. Will be back :)

Yelp
Came here with my boyfriend for the first time on Sunday. The bartender was super friendly and the atmosphere was overall welcoming. The food was pretty good! Except for my only complaint that just made me lose my appetite Halfway thru my first slider I could feel something in my mouth that wasn't food... I knew right away and I hoped I was wrong... But there I pulled out a long, thick, dark hair out of my mouth. It wouldn't have been so horrible if I had noticed the hair prior to trusting my food and just eating it... But this random ass hair was pulled out of my MOUTH. Pretty disgusting. I don't know if this hair came from someone who has lice or something?! Who knows! I don't want to blame anybody, but the guy who brought our food out did have a super long & bushy goatee... I really think that workers here that do have long facial hair should have their hair in a nicely done braid or SOMETHING to keep the strays a lot less likely to have a hair fall on down to someone's plate of food. The bartender was super nice and understandable so he took the charge off of our bill. -still I just left my food... but this place had a great atmosphere and was lovely beside that one problem.

Yelp
First time in. Not impressed. Sat at the bar. Did not get a hello for at least 5 minutes. In that time I already blew $5 at the bar gaming machine. Only 2 others around the bar. Finally a hello, ordered my drink and asked for a menu. Nothing looked very appetizing. Got the boneless wings with tots. 45 min later I asked the guy to check on my food-- he came back and said sorry they didn't get the order. It will be 10 min. I asked for my food to go. Food comes out and it wasn't boneless wings. Grrr. Thankfully I wasn't charged. I left a very generous $15 tip though I kinda didn't want to since the bartender needs to learn some friendliness skills. (And follow through on order skills) At the wings at home and they were good.

Yelp
We went to Sean Patrick's on West Flamingo to watch the Raiders/Steelers game. Family from Texas and Florida in town. We had a group of 12 people. We had let them know ahead of time and they had set up the area we selected. The sound system was excellent and tv's on both sides. Shuffleboard was used with a vengeance as competitive people were abundant. Dan was the bartender, waiter, sound person and overall savior of the evening. He didn't miss a beat and as busy as we kept him he was always pleasant and personable. The food was excellent and we had plenty of it. The kitchen staff was really on their game and much appreciated. Other than the Raiders losing the night was Perfect! Thanks so much Dan and Crew. We will be back!!

Yelp
Went here for the New Year. The bartender was amazing and friendly. The music selection was just perfect for the age group there. Would suggest to anyone who would like to relax and have a drink.
google avatar

Elkus H.

Yelp
I'm giving it a 3 because it was late when I went and the server's and Bar tender all l[ked out of it, they really don't have a wide selection of spirts just some of the regular stuff you used to drink back in college to just get hammered. Although staff was nice enough but inside was dated and dark, bathroom looked like you had a good chance of being mugged and had that horrible Old Building smell like lead or asbestos.
google avatar

Kristi S.

Yelp
We watched game 4 of the Stanley Cup here. It wasn't packed at all but still pretty lively. Game and audio no matter where you sit. The regulars were friendly, and the two female bartenders were great. Never had to ask for anything, even kept our waters refilled for the whole game. They did raffle prizes (no buy-in required), so that was fun too. The wings were SO expensive ($26/10 wings) but they were really good.. the kitchen even mixed up a spicy teriyaki sauce that's not on the menu. Overall, I think this place deserves better reviews. Cozy little neighborhood spot.

Yelp
Awful service during a HOME Vegas Golden Knights playoff game no drink specials as they promote on their website pure garbage!

Yelp
Stopped in on a Saturday night craving some pub grubs. Walked in and was immediately greeted by the bartender, John! ... personality and service was AMAZING! Business is strong cause of that man ... will def be returning!
google avatar

Yelp
Love this place. Great food, good chill vibes and John the bartender is always so friendly. Love this place!

Yelp
The best Rueben I've had! Great Irish atmosphere and the bartenders were friendly! Definitely will be back.

Yelp
Stopped in on a Friday night with my mother for a nice dinner. Our server "melissa" was super friendly and provided excellent service. We both ordered the fish and chips($13) which comes with two sides. We both had the coleslaw and potato salad. Loved the coleslaw, perfectly tasty. Fish and chips are very good and generous amount(5). Now owned by PT's, so the traditional Irish decor is replaced with high top tables and a pool table. No more booths or intimate setting like it used to be. You can also smoke(which my mom liked) while you eat, LOL. Located on West Flamingo and Cimmaron across from the DMV. Definitely recommend for the Fish and Chips!
google avatar

Sasa B.

Yelp
Good atmosphere, great staff, didn't try the food this time. Plenty of TV's. I really don't like smoking inside and that is reason for only 3 stars! Recommended for bar hopping (as long as you don't mind smoke!) Guinness is great! :)
google avatar

Vlad N.

Yelp
This place used to be good what happened to it? I ordered a Bowl of Potato Soup and got one spoon full??? Worst experience ever the bartender had his jeans saggy with his underwear out, wow! I paid 10.83 for a spoon of soup!
google avatar

Susan H.

Yelp
Best kept locals secret from the moment you walk in, friendly staff and atmosphere. Great food recommend the Fish n Chips -John and Becky were fantastic thank you to you both! We will be back soon
google avatar

Janis S.

Yelp
In addition to poor service, which was due partly to the St Patrick's Day clientele, the corned beef & cabbage dinner was dreadful. The corned beef was so tough that I don't think it was cooked. I wasn't able to send it back because this was a to go order. Terribly unprepared for the crowd. I was so disappointed.
google avatar

Stephen K.

Yelp
The fish and chips were amazing! Danielle the bartender was super friendly with a warm and inviting personality!! My golf buddies and I will definitely bmbe returning
google avatar

Skyler C.

Yelp
Went in to get a beer and something to eat with a friend of mine, old blonde bartender was rude, unfriendly, and harassed my friend over his valid passport and held his passport hostage and took it back to her managers office with out his approval, after another 10-15 mins of interrogation and questioning my own Nevada drivers license all because my friend and I are young looking adults, RIDICULOUS! We both served in the USAF.. she harassed two young veterans and made us feel so uncomfortable that after being interrogated for 10-15mins and finally getting her validation to drink we decided to leave and never return, good job thanks you for taking care of us vets! I will tell all my peers to never drink at this bar especially my fellow vets. If I could leave 0 stars I would!
google avatar

Yelp
Now that my father moved to Vegas from Montana to be closer to me (and a good poker game), I'm thrilled that I discovered this is a nearby local pub for me and my boo to go to when we visit. We love playing Golden Tee golf, so that was the first criteria of determining if we went here. Check. I also like a big ole mug of Miller Light on tap. Check. But most importantly, the chicken wing is my favorite appendage, so they have to stand out in flavor, size, and crunch. I think they're a specialty here. Check. So there you go! A few miles from the hustle and bustle of the Las Vegas strip, stop in if you're ever in the neighborhood!
google avatar

Meghan M.

Yelp
John is the man! I only come to see him and test my luck. The drinks re good and always cold! The appetizers usually do the trick. 5PM-7PM and 12AM-2AM is the happy hour! I think my favorite thing to do is just come to shoot the shit with John at his graveyard shift. I usually visit him after a long, tiring day on the strip. It's always nice to enjoy a cold one and catch up with him and other familiar faces.
google avatar

Haleigh H.

Yelp
So much fun! Absolutely amazing. Definitely recommend! I had the wings and they were AMAZING. Also tried a new beer and it was very tasty. They also have a billiards table and shuffle board. Next time we go to Vegas we are definitely coming back! Thank you for the great service and delicious food!

Yelp
My wife and I ate dinner here about a week ago. She had the amazing Fish and Chips and I had an awesome order of their Chicken Wings. This place is a keeper. We will be back!!!
google avatar

Dorothy C.

Yelp
one of my favorite pub for relaxing a day!! Not getting too crazy like PT's. The bartenders are so sweet and nice! She remembered what I used to drink too! Also Good place to play pool with your friends and having drinks One day I was starving so I ordered bunch of foods, and it was good taste. I normally don't eat chicken wings at night However, their chicken wings are very tasty so I ate every pieces!!haha

Becky H.

Yelp
This is a great neighborhood bar! I had Danielle for my Bartender. She is such a sweet person & so attentive, makes good drinks. Food was delicious, tried the Reuben potato skins. I'm surprised that this place isn't busy on the weekends. Will be back again.
google avatar

Jeremy B.

Yelp
Me and my wife came to eat after going to the dmv surprisingly not busy but the environment was warm felt like home.
google avatar

Fernando P.

Yelp
This place used to be amazing. I have been going here with my wife for 5 years and we loved the atmosphere and service and even prior to Golden Entertainment owning this place my wife has gone here before me and absolutley loved this place. As time went on the service went south and the food went further south. We waited for our order for 15 minutes which was only pot stickers and drunken potatoe skins, we only got the pot stickers. Ask the waitress after we ordered our second order of pot stickers amd recieced them where is our drunken potato skins only to get them about 20 minutes after that. The bartender had just came in to cover the next shift was at the other side of the bar doing shots with her friend and here we sat thirsty. Honestly I own my own restaurant and hate to leave bad reviews because I know reviews can either help or hurt your place but this was a let down. Would love to know who actually manages the place because it appears there is no supervision which obviously is needed desperately.
google avatar

Yelp
I've been here a few times, and i always feel welcome here. It's always clean, food is good, and drinks keep flowing to your liking. Every bartender I've ever met here has been an absolute pleasure. They always make you feel like you're with family when you're here.
google avatar

Rika D.

Yelp
We came in on a Friday afternoon. The place was completely empty. Sara the bartender was great with conversation and the drinks. I ordered the Cobb salad and that was a mistake. The salad was served with spoiled avocado (see photo) no turkey and very little ham. Come for the drinks and thats about it.

Nick C.

Yelp
ABSOLUTELY the best bar in town. Extremely friendly staff and always a great place to eat, drink, and gamble. I recommend the fish and chips (but who wouldn't!). The bartenders Stephanie and John are really awesome and always take great care of me when I venture in. Without a doubt will be back! Thank you guys!!
google avatar

Janice B.

Yelp
Excellent service and great food! The bartender; Sarah is not only a great bartender/server, she is also very personable. We felt so comfortable and will make sure we come back during her shifts (Wed-Sun). This location is a 5 minute walk from our home and we will be coming more often. Thank you Sarah!

Yelp
I'm a local and st.patrick is one of my all time fave go to bar plus the food A+ delicious and fresh everything made from scratch and the atmosphere of this place its phenomenal
google avatar

Cheri H.

Yelp
Wonderful hostess, security guard, patrons buy horrible service and bartenders! I told the male bartender on St. Patrick's Day at the bar that the Long Island Iced Tea should be nothing but alcohol and all I tasted was sweet and sour. He took the drink, walked away, threw it down the drain in the sink and I never saw him again!!! Needless to say, we were charged for it and my BF just said "don't worry about, we'll just NEVER come here again!" I understand it's an extremely busy day . . I'm not an idiot BUT I am also an excellent tipper and an ex-waitress. You do NOT ever treat a customer like that! Bye-bye Sean Patrick's. I can see why we weren't able to get into McMullans Irish Pub and you guys had seats available . . BAD SERVICE!!!
google avatar

William C.

Yelp
Came here on Friday for Happy Hour with a couple of friends for the very first time. What brought us here were the unique appetizers that PT's and Sierra Gold don't have on their menu. The items that caught my eye were the drunken skins, sean patrick's chips, and jameson whiskey wings. Then I saw some of the meals and told myself I needed to make several trips and eat everything!! Paddy's hoagie, shepherd's pie, corned beef & cabbage, bangers & champ, steak & guiness pie, monaghan's meatloaf, and the fish & chips. One day, I will eventually make my way through all of those meals. On this occasion, however, we opted for the drunken skins and jameson whiskey wings. The skins were amazeballs!! The guiness braised corned beef was super tasty. Some of the best tasting skins I've ever had. I typically don't like Jameson, who am I kidding, I hate Jameson. But I thought I owed it to myself to try these wings. Do i regret my decision? Not one bit. Wings came out nice and crispy coated in the Jameson whiskey sauce. The sauce was sllightly sweet and tangy. You definitely got that kick of Jameson as well. I enjoyed the wings. With our food, we washed them down with some of PT's very own brews. The beer that made the most sense to me was Sean Patrick's Irish Red. I enjoyed the beer, this is my new go-to PT's brew. As for the bar itself, I'd call it a small bar. You have the main bar with your standard video poker machines and a few tables that were along the walls in and around the bar area. There is a shuffle board table and pool table. The pool table is tucked in a nook, which almost feels like a private room with a ton of cool looking "throne" type chairs. This area is perfect for larger groups that want an area all to themselves.

Yelp
2 words: Jalapeño ranch!!! So amazing and great with pizza. The service was really good, we came in on a slow night and it was very enjoyable. Tvs everywhere, they play all the football games and have a fireplace.
google avatar

Jesse L.

Yelp
I've been coming here for years. I will say that since it became a PT's pub it got much better. Great menu, beer selection and good service. It's one of those bats that everyone knows your name even when you don't show for a while. They're always happy to see you. Great wings and burgers!!!
google avatar

Krystal G.

Yelp
Went here while i was waiting for my number to be called at the DMV across the street. Never was called by the way. It was around 10 am or so. I ordered a basic sausage egg and hash brown platter. It was amazing. So rich and buttery. The eggs, over easy complimented the sausage so well! Our bartender, Lauren, was really nice. She wasn't there to greet us but when she finally came out she was nice. Only thing is I am used to my drinks being compted because i do gamble, too much maybe lol, but she didn't warn me my drinks couldn't be compted. Insted gave me a bill for 45 dollars which should've been a 10 dollar check. I didn't mind paying but a heads up would've been really nice. At the end of it all she apologized for not letting me know and i enjoyed the food and service very much! Do try the breakfast its truly amazing!
google avatar

Rachel B.

Yelp
Very strange experience. We came here the other night to grab a quick bite and play some video poker. We walked in and there were a few people around the bar, not too busy. We ordered wings and had drinks. There was a fruit fly in my drink so I had to have the bartender remake it. My friend has extensive knowledge of beers and was asking about what kinds of porters and different things they had and the bartender didn't have good knowledge of beer at all. As we were there for a bit we noticed the people around the bar were definitely regulars. There was one lady who clearly knew the bartender who was having an argument with him. Then there were 2 guys who came inside who we noticed were sitting in their car with their lights off, at the time we arrived, which was probably an hour before they came inside. It could have been a coincidence but they had words with the bartender and they went to the bathroom and then so did he. Definitely seemed sketchy so say the least. I'll definitely stick to my PTs and Sierra gold. This experience definitely left us unsettled.
google avatar

Melinda C.

Yelp
Great local place for Happy Hour. The service is good and the bartenders are friendly. I really like that it's not smokey like too many of the bars. The food is typical bar food but good.
google avatar

Moni H.

Yelp
Stephanie provided thee absolute worst service possible. Thanks you for nothing. 27 cent tip. She made she to run that back. I left the two cents and kept the quarter. I'm worth it ;) I rated 1 Star, only because I could comment with at least 1 Star. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY

Josh H.

Yelp
Big blonde bartender took my official United States Passport and tried to keep it and kick me out the bar, I even showed a credit card that matched the same name on the passport & yet she still tried to keep the passport and told us to leave. I'm 26 years old, have a full sleeve tattoos, 6 foot tall, Air Force veteran, and couldn't even get served a beer without being harassed. Super uncomfortable atmosphere and terrible, incompetent, untrained staff. Would never recommend.
google avatar

Mallory B.

Yelp
I love coming to this bar. They have a large menu (for food) and everything I've had has been great. Drinks are always good, prices are good, great staff.. Mitch is the best bartender!! Always love when I make it in for his shift. The gaming does apparently pay out sometimes cuz my little sister won $1000 on her birthday, so that's cool!
google avatar

David M.

Yelp
The bartender named Stephanie was very polite and welcoming. She made my experience great while watching the football game.
google avatar

Shelene H.

Yelp
Worst experience! bartender seemed high on something and very much more willing to chit chat with her friend then serve us. Lived in Vegas 26 yrs and have seen alot, but I really wanted to freak out.
