One of my favourite places in San Diego. Combines traditional architecture with a modern American look. Full of nice shops and restaurants. Still with plenty of space to walk around. Its proximity to the harbor is priceless. You can have a beer or food and just watch the sea. In the afternoon and evening it has a lot of pretty light to offer. Worth seeing.

Seaport Village is a charming waterfront destination perfect for a leisurely stroll, shopping, and dining with bay views. Over 50 unique shops and 17+ eateries—ideal for souvenirs, local crafts, and a relaxed meal by the water. Historic 1895 Looff carousel adds nostalgic charm it. Live music, street performers, and a lively food-court vibe—especially on weekends. Tip: Go early morning or near sunset to enjoy the atmosphere without crowds and secure waterfront seating.

Beautiful village by the sea with quaint restaurants and coffee place. You can visit the USS midway, a warship museum right along the seaport village. It is worth watching. This place used to be more thriving but has lost it's beat a little. But worth a stroll by the ocean , eating lunch while watching all the boats sail by. We had coffee and watched the boats .

Seaport Village offers a charming and relaxed waterfront experience—ideal for a leisurely stroll with scenic harbor views. The variety of quirky shops, casual eateries, and live street performances give it a nice, laid-back vibe. While a bit touristy and some prices skew higher than average, the atmosphere makes it a pleasant place to hang out, grab a snack, and soak in the harbor scene.

Google
Seaport village is so nice. I like to ride around the bay on my scooter. Breath taking views of the bay, city of San diego, sail boats, shopping stands, bathrooms are clean, water fountains work. I'm fortunate to live close by and I will continue to visit this place often. The green line 🚎 train takes you there. Must visit if your ever in San diego.

It's a really awesome place if you're into touristy spots with great food and shops. We had a broad age range of family members and this was a big hit. I recommend the Louisiana Cajan restaurant it was AMAZING. There's full sit down restaurants or quick food mall type areas. The trolley and seal tours have stops here. Restrooms, small children and handicap friendly area

Views never disappoint. Shops vibrant as ever. There are several undergoing renovation which will be fun to watch progress. Cannot wait till they're open. My only concern is those cobble stones in a wheelchair.... 🫨🥴

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️☆ (4/5) I recently spent an afternoon at Seaport Village in San Diego, and it was an absolute delight! This charming waterfront spot has a laid‑back, nostalgic vibe that feels perfectly at home by the bay. Wandering along the wooden boardwalk, I loved browsing the quirky boutiques and artisan stalls—everything from hand‑made jewelry to local art and whimsical souvenirs. The salty breeze off the water and the distant hum of passing boats created a serene backdrop for a leisurely stroll. Foodwise, there’s a great mix of options. I enjoyed a fresh seafood taco (so flavorful!) al fresco while watching the harbor activity. There’s also an ice‑cream shop and other snack carts scattered around, ideal for grabbing a bite and taking in the view. One of my favorite moments was hopping onto one of those nostalgic red–and–yellow sightseeing trains that meander through the village—it’s a fun, low‑cost way to get a mini tour plus a nostalgia boost. A few notes: • Be prepared for crowds on weekends and sunny afternoons; it can get busy fast. • Parking is convenient but not cheap—plan to spend a little extra or park nearby and walk over. All in all, Seaport Village is a lovely spot for a relaxing day out, whether you’re with family, friends, or flying solo. It balances cute shops, decent food, and beautiful bay views—all wrapped up in a breezy, carefree atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit next time you’re in San Diego!

Yelp
SD's CUTE VILLAGE BY THE BAY! I will always LOVE Seaport Village, it's adorable, charming and clean! There's so many shops, eateries, and activities to enjoy. If you're introducing someone to San Diego this is a MUST VISIT! I love that a variety of people come here, locals and tourists alike. Also, kids are usually well-behaved and keep to the carousel and candy shops so that's always nice! Seaport has live entertainment (especially on the weekends) where free concerts are held from local artists. Seaport has dessert shops, a carousel (as mentioned), and many shops. I like that they have a mix of shops, some have your standard clothing and souvenirs, while there's also stained glass and artsy places. I can find pretty good deals at some of these stores and would recommend you visit them, there's definitely value! Service is pretty good everywhere you go, all the merchants seem in a good mood. I'd highly recommend stopping by Spill the Beans so you can grab yourself a coffee and bagel! Parking is paid here and very limited, so if you're dying to visit i recommend coming early for a good parking spot. The restrooms are pretty clean and I found plenty of seating across the village. My favorite place to chill is the duck pond, it's so cute, the ducks and other birds who stop by are fun to watch. I've been coming here since I was kid and it will forever be dear to my heart.

Yelp
Lovely afternoon at the Seaport Village. Scenic walkable area with lots of small shops and food options. The main parking lot is about $8 per hour...but arriving at around 5pm on a Thursday afternoon, we saw a parking lot next to that one for only $5 for three (3) hours. Keep an eye out for this one if visiting. Lots of photo ops along the San Diego Bay. You can walk along the water up the USS Midway, piers, Maritime Museum and Waterfront Park areas.

Yelp
More than any other place, when I think of San Diego, I think of Seaport Village. Not only is it a picturesque walk along the San Diego Bay, complete with views of Coronado Island and Bridge, naval bases, ships and vessels (military or otherwise), the yachts in the marina and, if you're lucky, a pod of dolphins or whales swimming by, but there's plenty of things to do, see, and myriad places to explore, experience, shop and dine, for locals and tourists alike! Parking is plentiful-enough, although absurdly expensive. Do yourself a favor and find a place nearby, and walk here, to save yourself an unnecessary and exorbitant fee.

Yelp
Seaport village holds a special place in my heart!! We would come here with my mom all the time and just wander. She loved all the shops and we would people watch. The shops are great and all the workers are friendly. Some are overpriced but that is to be expected.

Yelp
Late post Came with some friends and one of them kinda broke her leg so she we knew we couldn't walk around too much but the Village itself is quite beautiful, people come to walk around the boardwalk, chill at the park and best of all they are dog friendly. The stores are typical of most places, The Bay company souvenir shop, boutiques, sun glasses, hat store, crazy shirts, toy store, hot sauce store and so much more. Can't wait to come again and actually walk around the whole place! Give them a visit!

Yelp
Seaport Village is a must when in San Diego. It is a pleasant waterfront walk from the cruise port, or there is a free shuttle waiting before you leave the port. If driving, there is a pay parking lot behind the mostly flat walking paths leading to various restaurants and shops fronting the marina and park. Shops range from the usual t-shirt shops and souvenirs to upscale boutiques. Service is very welcoming in all the stores I visited. Prices range from reasonable to ludicrous, but it is fun to ogle all the items on display. Ample restrooms, fun outdoor seating with a variety of water features and statues, the village is clean with great views of the city and the waterfront. Great people-watching while sipping a beverage at one of the many coffee shops or bars.

Yelp
What a great area! There was an older car show going, so many dining options, fabulous views and cute shops galore. A perfect way to meander and spend an afternoon!

Yelp
Seems that many of us who've visited San Diego over many years time have mostly fond memories of Seaport Village. The collection of meandering walkways, small clusters of buildings provide homes for shops and restaurants, with seating areas, landscaping, water features, and harbor access. What's not to love? The nautical theme is fitting with the setting. A broad walkway leads from the Village all the way down the waterfront toward the USS Midway. After Dear Hubby and I browsed the shops (and made a purchase at the hat store!), we checked out a few other boutiques, like Crazy Shirts. We also found one of the ponds, good for photos, but also nice to relax nearby. We then took a walk most of the way to the Midway. It was our first stop in town, waiting for our hotel room to be ready. It's a great spot to use to unwind from the traffic getting in to the city, for sure. We didn't have our granddaughter with us yet, but if we had, she would have loved riding the historic carousel. Parking is pricey if you don't get a validation stamp. $8/hour in July 2023, but if you get a validation it's $5 for three hours - which is a deal! Somewhere along the way during our visit, someone said that there are plans to close down Seaport Village and build housing / hotels. If that's true, I'd urge you to check it out now before the "They paved Paradise and put up a parking lot" scenario plays out!

Yelp
Seaport Village is a bit nostalgic for me. Way back in 1987, I visited here for the first time with my family. We came here several times in the late 80's and ever since then, whenever I am in San Diego, I always make it a priority to visit Seaport Village. This was my first visit in nearly 11 years. It still is just as much fun as it ever was! We skipped town for a 30-hour getaway and with that very limited time we decided only 2 things mattered: Seeing the Padres play at Petco Park and revisiting Seaport Village! As a matter of fact, we came here twice before leaving town! We had some gorgeous mild summer weather to just walk around and take in those magnificent views of the harbor. Just casually walking around from store to store was so much fun and very relaxing. You also have a ton of food and drink options to choose from as well. I think we stepped into just about nearly every store here at least once. We bought our fair share of souvenirs too! Hey! Question for you locals that happen to read this: Wasn't there a sports themed store with a ton of jerseys, shirts, and all kinds of memorabilia there?? I looked all over for it and never came across it. :( When I was here in (March) 2010, it just happened to be the day that LaDainian Tomlinson signed with the Jets. That store marked all of their authentic NFL LT jerseys 60% off, so I snagged one of those awesome powder blue jerseys that I still have in mint condition to this day! I really wanted to see that place again but couldn't find it. Is it closed? Every time I happen to find myself in San Diego, I always make it a point to stop by Seaport Village! This place is still awesome! 5 stars.

Yelp
Shops are cute and of course directed towards tourists. I'm a local and to pay $8 an hour to park here is absolutely ridiculous it isn't even pro-rated. This will definitely make me not want to return. Now I know why the parking lot is empty.

Kenneth W.

Yelp
Ripped off on Parking. Twice now in the last month, I have been there to enjoy food at one of the surrounding restaurants and have paid over $40 for parking for two hour dinner. Won't be back.

Yelp
I am finally able to take a short break before I start my next set of travels. I am getting caught up with some of my travels from a month ago in San Diego, thank you for your patience. Quality/Quantity - Cut and pasted from website: "A 14 acre waterfront shopping, dining and entertainment complex recreating a harbor side setting of a century ago. Includes 54 one of a kind shops, 13 casual dining eateries, 4 fine dining waterfront restaurants, and located in close proximity to local hotels. Opened in 1980." Part of the port of San Diego. Nice little village for a walk. Some boutique shopping and a few drink spots overlooking the water. Tour/trolley available, I did not inquire. Atmosphere - They have a private parking lot, not sure if there is self parking but definitely valet parking is available. I did see a pay station. Next to the cruise ship ports, I am sure they get a lot of tourists. They also have events, live music, etc. Part of the Lighthouse District & Tuna Harbor. 3 public restrooms, I did not visit. Open 7 days a week from 10am to 9pm; individual business hours might differ. Service - Good, also depends on where you shop. Mainly caters to tourists, so service should be good. Price - See services section. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 1980, always a good place to visit and/or have a drink overlooking the water.

Yelp
Seaport Village is a charming waterfront destination that offers a unique shopping and dining experience. The views of the bay are stunning, and the historic atmosphere is palpable. I enjoyed strolling along the cobblestone streets, exploring the various shops and galleries, and grabbing a bite to eat at one of the many restaurants. While some of the stores can feel a bit touristy, the overall vibe is relaxed and welcoming. Be prepared for crowds and parking challenges, but it's worth it for a lovely day out. Recommended!

Yelp
I'm not sure if I'd ever actually been here before, but I enjoyed my visit. I loved the variety of little shops around, as well as all the great restaurants to choose from. The views were nice, and on a sunny SD day makes for a great spot to enjoy the day. I will definitely be coming back more frequently.
google avatar

Yelp
Cute little shops, for the tourist of course. Nice walk by the water. Food choices are decent. Not a ton to do if you aren't doing the battleship tour.

Yelp
One of the iconic places to visit in SD A nice walk on the beach Many food options and stores Beautiful in day and night If u r in SD must visit

Yelp
My wife and I were here recently to hopefully grab some quick food before our film at the Rooftop Cinema. We should not have bothered. Yeah, Mike Hess is here, and it's a fine brewery. If you're hungry, just walk to a real restaurant, unless you just have to have that view of the bay while you dine. Seaport Village: San Diego's answer to Fisherman's Wharf. I guess your kids might like the carousel.

Yelp
I totally love this place! Such a great place to hangout! Very popular tourist attraction destination as well! Seaport village has a lot of wonderful things! I highly recommend this place! Being a San Diego native myself I'm proud of my City and love it so much!

Yelp
I may be biased from living 7 years in San Diego, but Seaport Village, along with the entire downtown harbor area has always been a fave place to visit! There is a pretty sizable lot, but of course during peak summer time hours you may need to drive around to find parking. There are a lot of cute touristy and eclectic shops to browse around, in addition to some restaurants and ice cream spots. If you come during the week when most are at work, you can sit along one of the beach chairs and read a book while watching boats sail by! There's a nice grassy part to fly kites or enjoy a picnic, and on most weekends entertainment such as the "Parrot Man". A nice pathway along the harbor allows you to enjoy a great stroll waterside, and carries on through downtown so you can visit waterfront park, the maritime museum, tour the navy ship, try any food you possibly want, or go even further and catch a farmers market in little Italy. You can even board a harbor cruise, enjoy a sunset dinner, or take the ferry across to Coronado. This is probably my favorite harbor and I make sure to visit at least 3-4x per year!
google avatar

Samantha H.

Yelp
Came here to walk around and go shopping. This is such a quaint little shopping area. It's right on the waterfront and really is beautiful. Lots of restaurants and live music. Would be a fun place to bring your kids to with the carousel and all. My only complaint is id like to see some more unique stores. A lot of the shops are just souvenir shops and they all have the exact same junk. Still cute to come walk around though.
google avatar

Millie L.

Yelp
Seaport Village is an absolute must visit when you are in San Diego. The vantage points to city scapes, ships in the harbor and the Coronado Bridge is only part of the charm. Hours can be spent on people watching, walking, and site seeing. If you are hungry, stop by the Cheesecake Factory, located right at the edge of Seaport Village.
google avatar

Annabelle R.

Yelp
This is a touristy area, but it's also an awesome atmosphere for enjoying some sunshine outdoors and visiting unique and quirky shops and eateries near the water. You'll see your typical street performers (or "atypical" if you count the stone stacker!). and there are even live music events on weekends. I had some coffee at Spill the Beans and a sandwich from the Seaport Market, and explored a number of interesting spots at Seaport Village. Some that stood out are Louisiana Charlie's, Something Sweet candy shop, Safari Animal Collection, Magnuts, San Pasqual Winery, Sock Harbor, Funny Features (caricatures), Fudge Factory, and having walked a little further,  the Kissing Statue at Tuna Harbor Park, right next to USS Midway Museum and aircraft carrier. There's a big parking lot that charges only $5 for the first three hours, but it was full when I visited this past Monday; luckily I was able to find metered parking nearby, which was actually free since it was a holiday.  Seaport Village reminds me of Pier 39 and Fisherman's Wharf in SF, but with more of a beach feel in SD. In fact some of the businesses had large areas out front filled with sand, and beach chairs for visitors to relax while shopping, eating, and just spending quality time with loved ones, simulating beachfront bliss.

Yelp
One of my favorite places to visit when in San Diego. It's a must stop for me. I love walking around and checking out the shops. Lots of cute stores that sell unique products. Also a lot of places to eat. Restaurant, fast food, ice cream and coffee shops. Beautiful views of the city , the water, the marina and a few hotels. There are many roses you can purchase from a kiosk right inside Seaport Village. We did the water bus city tour. Fun for the kids as well. I took this picture late summer evening last year. Love this view. I'll never get tired of it. Check it out while in San Diego. You can easily spend four hours here.
google avatar

Yelp
Overall seaport village is a very family friendly place to go, it's very touristy with lots of gift shops so it is a little repetitive but fun to just walk around. It was extremely busy on the weekend, but on the weekdays you would probably have more fun and less wait times. Definitely a place to visit if you just moved or are visiting!
google avatar

Regine A.

Yelp
This place is beautiful during every season of the year! My favorite time is around the holidays when it's decorated with lights. Lots of shops and restaurants to explore. Super family and dog friendly! There's a path throughout the area for walking. But a tip for bikers, I believe bicycling is prohibited in some areas. I love bringing visitors from out of state here. There are beautiful views of the water and you can see the military ships floating by. There's also local vendors there to support.
google avatar

Chabely I.

Yelp
This place is very pretty when the weather is nice. Very spacious and full of nature. Also, lots of souvenir shops, restaurants, and dessert spots to go to.

Yelp
You will find this place along the the North San Diego Bay, behind the Convention Center and to a bit before the USS Midway. It is very scenic. It is a nice shopping village with a historic feel.In addition to its shops and restaurants you will find fountains, chairs along the water front, a pond, and a historical carousel. Some of the villages restaurants include Ben & Jerry's, Louisiana Charlies, Margarita Kitchen & Cantina, the San Diego Burger Company, Wetzle Pretzels, and Marion's Fish Market. Most of the restaurants have some kind of their own dining area, and there is an outdoor common dining area near the carousel. There are a bunch of souvenir shops that sell pretty much the same thing, a magnet store, a sock store, a Christmas store and a hot sauce store. The Village was relatively clean and it was a nice day, which made it that much better. There is a couple of parking lots that service the village. It can get kind of pricey. Most of the businesses offer parking validation though, so be sure to check to see if any of your businesses have validation to save you some money. So, with that, I recommend going here with somewhat of a purpose or destination and not just to walk around. They host live music here periodically, and have huge annual St Patrick's Day and Easter celebrations. This is a really fun place and the management seems to always have something going on there. I highly recommend checking this spot out. This is a one stop shop where you can get your belly full, get some nice souvenirs, relax a bit while looking out over the Bay.

Yelp
Love coming to Seaport! This place is so beautiful and lots to do! There are many good restaurants, it's right on the water so from anywhere there's a nice view. Fun place!
google avatar

Yelp
Seaport Village is just one of those places you have to visit when you go to San Diego. It's been there forever and a lot of shops and restaurants didn't make it through the pandemic but it's such a cute little area. We have favorite shops we go into every time we're there. The wind chime place is our favorite of all - we just got a new windchime there last week. It's a great place to wander along the water, grab a snack, take some pictures, watch ducks playing in the pond, etc. We love it here and will always make it a point to visit on every trip to SD.
google avatar

Nycole R.

Yelp
Whether you're here for the shopping or for a beautiful walk along the water, Seaport Village has you covered. It was designed by a Disney Imagineer, so it has a familiar charm, much like you'd find in a theme park. The stores range from souvenir tchotchkes to soap to beach attire. Of course, things are a little more expensive than they might be elsewhere, but that's to be expected in such a touristy area. I've only ever visited via tour bus/trolley, so I have not had to interact with the parking lot-but I do see that a lot exists and see a good amount of traffic moving in and out. Like most places in the area, come early and at off-peak times to ensure availability. Perhaps if I'd come at other times, I might see this-but I'd love to see more local, artisan vendors outside rather than just the mass produced inventory in the shops. A little more local flavor could take Seaport Village from 4 to 5 stars.
google avatar

Jocelyn O.

Yelp
It's been over eight years since we've been here as a family. We came early so parking wasn't hard to find. You just need to get your parking ticket validated when you purchase any item at any of the stores here. We ended up paying $5 for the parking. This is a wonderful place to browse through the shops and buy souvenirs. The view of the pond with ducks or the view sitting along the bay is very relaxing. Plus there's places to eat here too. Our family enjoyed spending a few hours here. It's definitely a place to drop by and visit when you're in town.
google avatar

Kim R.

Yelp
We used to live downtown years ago and were staying nearby last week. Not much has changed at the village...it's mostly a spot for wandering tourists with a handful of eateries and very random stores. I always enjoy watching the resident ducks, the water feature and it's troops never disappoint! While it kinda seems Seaport is a bit of a relic, there's something nostalgic about wandering through.
google avatar

Jade C.

Yelp
Seaport village is a wonderful area for an outside lunch, walk along the water or bike ride. There are plenty of cute boutiques to support as well as restaurants to enjoy. Definitely recommend visiting!
google avatar

Cindy C.

Yelp
My family and I love this place! It is a must-do every time we are in San Diego. Parking is pricey however it's easy to get your parking validated and then it's not expensive at all. There are so many shops, restaurants, and fun things to do here. There is a carousel, Adirondack chairs in sand, live music, a park, restaurants, everything! There are many restaurants with various cuisines so there is something for everyone to eat. Ben & Jerry's is a must after eating a meal and there is also a candy shop and fudge factory. There are indoor sit down restaurants as well as places to order and eat at the outdoor seating areas. You can walk along the boardwalk and look at all the boats in the marina or just look out across the bay. Definitely one of our favorite places in San Diego!
google avatar

Wayne K.

Yelp
This is a nice little tourist area with lots of stores to buy overpriced tourist gifts. There really isn't too much to do here other than shop at these tourist stores, or get some treats, such as ice cream, candy, etc. They do have a few sit-down restaurants, but most of the ones I saw didn't get great Yelp reviews, and with so many other restaurants nearby, it's hard to justify going to any of these. However, if you're looking for someplace that isn't too crowded, and just want to have a relaxing stroll near the water, this is a good place to go. I don't know if you have to pay for parking since it's only a few minutes walk from the Manchester Grand Hyatt, which is where we stayed, so if parking is expensive, I'm not sure if it's worth going here, but if you're already at the Hyatt and have never been, I think it's worth a stroll. Overall, I don't have much to complain about regarding this area. It's nothing special, but if you're already in the area and looking for something quiet to do, this is a good choice.
google avatar

Taura G.

Yelp
Beautiful stroll through the village with the family. The stores are still great. The food options are great. They have Me. Moto Pizza, SD Burger Company, Mexican Food, Hess Brewing, and another bratwurst type of place next to Hess. There is a cute Champagne Bar on the East side of the village. They still have the Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream. As well as the Village soft serve ice cream place for dessert. The carousel still operational and it is the thrill for all children and any adult young at heart!
google avatar

Alisa J.

Yelp
View of seaport village from above. A tourist shopping area with cool sights. Definitely recommend for sightseeing.
google avatar

Lori R.

Yelp
I always felt nostalgic about Seaport Village, but forgot how little this place really has to offer. This is just a group of tourist shops selling Amazon stuff at an enormous mark up. There aren't even any small businesses selling uniquely crafted things. There is maybe one tourist restaurant but you're downtown, just go eat somewhere else that's much better. And there is nothing, I mean NOTHING for kids to do. There's a giant grass field with no playground. There's just a toy store for the kids with cheap toys marked up, and it was hard to keep the kids corralled. I just think this whole space can be used for something else, like an amphitheater or some other use. I was sad to hear there was a thought to close seaport village, but now I think it's probably time to grow the area into a more valuable. Probably not going to be a popular review, but I think there are other places to visit that have more to offer than tourist shops.

Yelp
Seaport Village, situated along the picturesque waterfront of San Diego, is a charming destination that offers a delightful mix of shopping, dining, and entertainment. You'll see a range of ages, families, and kids there strolling by the water, enjoying live music, or eating some food. Enjoy breathtaking views of the bay and take in the fresh air. Walk along the meandering pathways lined with charming shops, boutiques, and art galleries, offering unique souvenirs, clothing, and local crafts. It's a good spot to find a little bit of everything if you want to meet with friends or family who aren't all on the same page about what to do - one person can sit and watch the water, others can shop or eat. It's a great spot! Parking can be a bit difficult to find if you don't want to pay but hey, you might also get lucky as someone is pulling out. The village also hosts live music performances, street performers, and special events, depending on the time of year. Seaport Village provides a delightful escape for both locals and visitors alike.

Yelp
Great place to walk around, shop, eat and enjoy the views! Yes it's a tourist spot since it's close to the cruise ship port, but I still love it as a local. Love coming here with the family to enjoy the great San Diego weather and get some fresh air! Parking can be a bit difficult and confusing if you don't where the lot entrances are vs the public parking areas. Both require a fee, so make sure you follow the signs.

Yelp
Pretty cool area for killing some time in downtown SD. The walkway on its western perimeter gives you great views of San Diego Bay. There's a good number of restaurants here, some that have outdoor patio seating that overlooks the bay. More inland lies clusters of shops in house-like buildings (emulating a little village). Many of them sell souvenirs that look a bit dated. Doesn't seem like these shops, or the shopping area in general, have much foot traffic as much more people were at the waterfront when I was here. Eh, if you're looking to view grand blue bodies of water in SD your best choice is still the beach. Though, if you're somehow stuck in downtown [and/or you hate sand (like Anakin :p ).....there's no sand here] this is a great alternative.

Yelp
Wonderful place to visit if your ever in San Diego. I went there everyday during my stay as I was only walking distance away. Food! As a vegan I had plenty little places to grab something to eat with many I need to try when I come back. Take my money So many shops to find some cool stuff and unique gifts. Visit Hot Licks for a great selection of hot sauce I picked up some local favorites and can't wait to try them. Overall, gorgeous place to visit, and experience.

Yelp
Cool place to visit! And it really is in walking distance from Downtown San Diego. During the weekend in comes to life. Lots of vendors a different things come to this strip right by the bay. Food, souvenirs, some weird stuff lol, some cooks stuff you'll find here. Some cool seafood restaurants right at the water's edge, and some cool art and military honors that you can find walking on the strip. Here you can also find the USS Midway Museum, which should be a must visit for tourists and locals. Definitely worth a visit. It is also accessible coming from the Amtrak/Trolley Station located in Downtown San Diego, which is another cool place to visit, specially at night time! Parking is always an issue. But there is lots of pay parking around. Look for the ACE parking lots. Usually the cheapest and the most locations throughout downtown! There is also parking right by Seaport Village, but you got to be there super early to find some! Super Early!

Yelp
Seaport Village is a beautiful plaza with so many cute little shops to explore. I love spending time here whenever I visit San Diego. There are many different shops, from food places, dessert shops, one of a kind souvenir shops, and plenty of seating / tables. Definitely recommend taking a stroll here and doing some sightseeing! Also people watching can be quite entertaining!

Yelp
This nice shopping area was behind our hotel. They had an awesome coffee joint too, that's where I got our drinks in the morning.

Yelp
Seaport Village has been a staple of our San Diego visits since I was a child. I am a little disappointed in how it's gone down hill the last 5 or so years. Lots of little boutiques and shops have boarded up to only be replaced with lack luster counterparts. The grounds and atmosphere are still enjoyable. The parking and lack of food options, not so much.

Yelp
This is probably my favorite place in San Diego to visit, and I make sure to stop by every time I'm in town! I mainly love walking by the great waterfront views, but some of the shops and restaurants are worth visiting as well. On my recent visit I was glad to see business picking up for them, as it appeared pretty busy. I was getting concerned since they were starting to look like a dead mall when I was here last year! I heard rumors that they're planning on demolishing and redeveloping Seaport Village in the future. I really hope not because I love visiting and I would be really sad if it went away completely!!

Yelp
For a great view of the San Diego Bay, a visit to Seaport Village is one easy place to go. Yes, it's rather touristy but there are some fun small businesses that you can help support. We enjoy walking through the shops and the grassy park area. We like the hot sauce shop, the socks store, the animal store with all the plushies, the crystals shop, San Diego Surf, and so many more. Our favorite place to eat is Margarita's Kitchen. Grab a bottle of hot sauce and head over to the food area; I usually order the beef enchiladas and nachos are also pretty good. My kids get the chicken tacos and the steak quesadilla and are pretty happy. Then finish up with some ice cream and do a nice bay walk to burn a few calories.
