North Bay Chef Arrested on Child Molestation Charges | Eater SF

"A seafood-and-steak spot, Seared is where Basso most recently worked; after he returned to the kitchen the restaurant altered its menu to include a couple of Basso’s classic creations." - Eve Batey

We live in Petaluma and Seared is our all-time fave place to hit for happy hour. Get there say 4:30, grab a couple stools ar the bar, and go to town. Nothing on the happy hour menu even hits double digits, and seriously, it’s all so damn good. We were served by Andrew, one of the owners, and Garrett. I love their spicy margarita, and at the end mixed it up with “bartender’s choice”—and Garrett treated me to his “Cider Flight” cocktail, a delicious seasonal riff on a paper airplane. For food, sometimes we’ll literally order one of everything on the happy hour menu. We love it all. I’m super happy eating literally anything on that menu. But if you force me to pick favorites, the filet mignon skewers and the baby wedge salad are perfection. So… thank you, guys… we’ll be back again and again.

We had reservations for 3 but we reached early. We were seated immediately. Happy hour was about to close but luckily we made it. We ordered 4 items from happy hour menu and 3 from main dinner menu. Happy hour items are amazing! What a fantastic value for price on the steak skewers! We liked them so much that we ordered them a second time and the server was able to still get them! The short ribs are braised for 5 hours in Zinfandel and they are amazingly soft and delicious! Would highly recommend those too! The Wagyu ribeye was amazingly delicious too but it was a just a tiny bit chewy for medium rare. Amazing taste though. Loved the dinner and the time spent on it special occasion!

We were very happy with our choice to eat here. The scallops were delicious. We had the halibut for our entree which was also very well cooked and tasty. We chose the Creamy Puffs for dessert and they did not disappoint. The Espresso martini was amazing! Their wine selection is decent and the waiter was very nice. It was a satisfying experience

Food was really good, but missing that WOW. Still Worth coming and exploring the menu, and the service is top notch. Will come back and really hope the kitchen can just get the little tweaks needed on their plating to take this to the next level.

Let's start with this was our 39th wedding anniversary. First off we had a reservation and when we arrived we were seated immediately. We ordered drinks which arrived promptly and or orders were taken at that time. As I had read on a review I read our food would come definitely quicker than almost any quality restaurant I've been to, we were even able to switch the mash from what we ordered to duck fat potatoes (what a great decision that was). When it came to the food Wow! We both ordered the Surf & Turf, the turf being a 5 oz fillet mignon and the surf 2 nice sized scallops all cooked to perfection. Then came dessert, I had the peach cobbler with vanilla ice cream on top with a touch of blueberry and the crumble was heavenly. My wife had the tiramisu which was scrumptious with a wonderful full espresso taste you'd expect in this classy dish. To put it simply the topper of this experience was our server Natalie . She was the type of person we could be close friends with it seemed like every time she came to the table all three of us would be laughing the whole time. She was so sweet, when she brought us our desserts she had put a candle in both of them and lit them. Wish all my dining out experience included someone like Natalie, she's fun and very good at her job. My advise if you dine there is to be seated at one of Natalie's tables. Thank you Natalie for making our 39th anniversary dinner such a wonderful fun experience.

We came to celebrate a special birthday and were so glad to find the perfect spot at Seared! Our table enjoyed a variety of dishes, including the Dungeness Crab & Prawn Linguine, Chicken Piccata, and the incredibly tender Wagyu Ribeye—everything was absolutely delicious. Our server, Ronaldo, was kind, attentive, and made sure we had a great experience. We finished the meal with a perfectly done crème brûlée. We’ll definitely be back!

We were told an hour half wait. We saw people going in and being seated. We asked to speak with the Manager. The manager explained that the tables were reserved. He said he has a table. If we could be finished with our meal in an hour and a half we could seat us there. GREAT! The drinks we strong😉 We did not get appetizers. We ordered the wedge salad ( a must try) 😋 It was a long wait for our food but they were very busy. We ordered the Filet mignon with spinach and potatoes. It was delicious. We thanked the manager for the wonderful service we received. I see why they have a 4.6 rating. If I'm ever in the area again, I will be stopping by.

Google
My daughter took me for Mothers Day brunch.....cute place inside. They brought water to the table right away and took our drink orders. There was ample staff to accommodate such a busy day, I had the steak and eggs and found the steak a little bit chewy. Everything else was wonderful. We will definitely be back.

Yelp
My wife and I enjoyed a weekend getaway in Sonoma, and on our neighbors' recommendation, we tried this restaurant. It's a nice spot with delicious food and drinks. Friendly and attentive staff My steak was cooked perfectly to medium, and my wife loved her scallops. We visited on a busy Sunday evening, but the service was efficient--the food arrived quickly and piping hot. The atmosphere is very casual; we realized we were a bit overdressed compared to most guests. Comfortable, everyday attire is definitely appropriate.

Yelp
Really good steaks and burger - prime rib was the standout! 5 for the food 1 for ambiance - very noisy room that could be more inviting

Jazzmine B.

Yelp
I came here for my birthday, everything was wonderful. Every steak was well seasoned, juicy, and cooked to perfection. I highly recommend the lobster mac & cheese, I had it as my meal and there was plenty. The lobster was fresh and had a wonderful texture, no rubber. Our service was quick and attentive, even though the place was packed. We dressed casual but the ambience is definitely a higher end.

Yelp
This was long over due since moving to Sonoma County two years ago. Seared is situated in downtown Petaluma just off of East Washington Blvd, which can be accessed from either direction of the US-101. The downtown area is live on Friday's and the weekends with tons of amenities nearby within walking distance. The indoor area of Seared is medium sized and I believe they have an outdoor patio area as well. The service was relatively fast, drinks were good and the food was on point. Me and my wife ordered the prawns over fried rice, Parmesan truffle fries, lobster mac n cheese and the halibut. I had a manhattan and she had mixed cocktail (can't remember the name). Both drinks were great. My favorite part was probably the prawns and lobster mac.Next time I'll try the steak. Overall, seared is a great place to have dinner or to simply take someone out for a date night.

Yelp
The Caesar salad was delicious. Unfortunately the meal was less impressive after that. We ordered the $45 lobster and shrimp paparadelle and the order came to our table in a tiny portion, obviously with only shrimp. It took a while to call our waiter over, after several minutes, to point out the complete absence of lobster. Then after several more minutes he confirmed it was a kitchen error, made excuses for the chef and then verbally apologized. We were hungry. After another long wait we got what seemed like an even smaller portion with a tiny piece of lobster. There was no discount on our meal or offer for a complementary drink or dessert for the inconvenience. Honestly, for a $45 pasta the flavor and delay was definitely not worth it. I love seafood and have been going to Seared for years so tonight was a real disappointment.

Yelp
This was my second visit, and while the food was just okay overall, the experience was still enjoyable. We ordered the calamari, wagyu ribeye, and the Dungeness crab and prawn linguini. Nothing blew me away, but everything was decent. What really stood out was the service--our waiter was excellent: attentive, well-timed, and made us feel well taken care of throughout the night. It was a busy Saturday, so the restaurant was packed and quite loud, with lots of conversation filling the room. Despite the noise, I had a lovely date night and would come back--especially to try their happy hour, which I've heard great things about.

Yelp
First visit here and came for Happy Hour and some fresh oysters. The place was packed and I guess it's popular with the locals. I spoke with a couple in line that said they love the Happy Hour and their cocktails. Got the calamari which was delicious! Lots of crispy tasty pieces! Got a half dozen oyster that got inhaled. Would definitely recommend!

Yelp
Love LOVE Love this place! They have the best Happy hour in town. Food was on point and the portions are so satisfying. The drinks are just divine. Perfect place for a date night or a family meal. Thank you neighborhood friends

Yelp
Seared was a wonderful experience! Went here on a Saturday evening and was treated with incredible service and a delicious meal! We had a reservation and were taken upstairs which made the vibe or ambiance a little meh because more of the energy was downstairs in the main area, but it ended up being a really great time overall. I ordered the surf n turf with shrimp instead of scallops and filet mignon. The person I was with got the Wagyu ribeye. We both demolished our meals because it was so delicious. The roasted oysters were soooo incredible I wish I had like 10 of them! It was overall just a wonderful experience and I would love to come back another time.

Yelp
Family members were treating my wife and I for our birthdays and they chose Seared, as they recently discovered and enjoyed their last visit. Who am I to turn down a meal with family? I have no been prior, but I have heard very good things about Seared. So I was anticipating a fun evening. First off, I was worried Seared would be too stuffy. I was relieved to see most of the diners in shorts and nice shirts (maybe some in t-shirts and ballcaps...perfect in my book!). I did check out the menu prior to arriving and noticed it was very heavy on seafood. I am that one guy who has a complete aversion to anything coming from the sea, but I can usually find something to eat that appeals to my taste. We did bring our own wine and they had no problem opening the bottles for a nominal corkage fee. Upon looking at the menu, I noticed some of the items listed online weren't on the menu for that evening. Interesting, there went the one things I was looking forward to. Oh well. I did start with the Heirloom tomato salad. More greens than tomatoes, but it was fine. I then got the filet mignon with creamed spinach and potatoes. I loved the creamed spinach, can't go wrong with that. Potatoes were a little bland. The steak was so-so. I've definitely had better. Everyone else seemed to enjoy their meal, so I may have been the outlier. The place was nice. We sat upstairs were it seemed a little more casual. Service was great. I'm not sure I'll be back, but it won't be because it was horrible. It's just not my fit.

Yelp
Restaurant was beautifully decorated and crowded for an early weekend night. Honestly, it was a pretty standard steakhouse and it didn't wow me. Rib eye and prime rib were good but we felt like we could get just as good of meat or better elsewhere. They didn't cook our meat to the preferred doneness so we had to send them back but it wasn't a big deal, mistakes happen. Happy we tried it since it's a well known spot, but I wouldn't go again. Service was ok - they took our appetizer away before we were done but we were engrossed in conversation and didn't notice in time to stop them. Wish they would've asked if we were done.

Yelp
We decided to visit this place based on a recommendation from our hotel. While the food was undeniably delicious, we felt that the pricing didn't quite match the value. However, we only sampled items from the happy hour menu. The bar and restaurant itself is nicely decorated creating a cozy atmosphere. The resturant was crowded at Happy Hour, we were lucky to get a seat at the bar. The wait staff was super helpful and gave us great recommendations for the top 3 orders, Prime Rib Dip, Steak Skewers, and the Kung Pao Prawns. We only ordered the Prime Rib Dip and Steak Skewers. The steak skewers were our favorite! They were cooked to perfection and paired nicely wiht the papaya salad. The Prime Rib Dip and the essential jus was excellent. The $9.75 price was high for what you receive. The drinks were just okay. My wife ordered the cucumber martini and it was too sweet for her. The Spring Old Fashion didn't have a cube of ice, but crushed ice and well bourbon . If you order non-HH old fashion, you will get your cherry and orange muttled.

Yelp
Fantastic!! I have 3 favorite restaurants in petaluma and this is one of them. I love the food, the people and the setting.

Michael C.

Yelp
Delicious flatiron steak, short ribs and lobster and shrimp risotto! Friendly and helpful service and an active happy vibe for families and young people!

Consuelo H.

Yelp
Drinks are full bodied, scrumptious appetizers. Haven availed myself of supper as yet. Service impeccable and very attentive!

Yelp
Not a typical steak house. Michael was our server, and almost a performer. Great intuitive serve. A+. The place is noisy. Not a classic steak house. More like a Pizza place - but the food is great. I had the venison. Perfectly cooked. The prices are really reasonable also.

Single Gal S.

Yelp
My daughter and her partner love this restaurant and took me on the 16th. Michael B did a great job and he is a real fun asset to your company. I heard about the great happy hour and I was not disappointed. My rum drink was awesome and my beet salad was very tasty.

Yelp
Came here for the prime rib and was pleasantly surprised that they have happy hour menu on bar bites and drinks on a Saturday (330p-6p), so we ordered drinks and bar bites, such as their mini wedge salad and fried calamari. Their happy hour menu is happening. I would definitely come back here just for that. Additionally their prime rib, which we opted for the 20 oz., was superbly tender and savory! It was delightful with every bite. They do need to get new ones or sharpen them. It was a bit on the dull side to be able to cut the prime rib smoothly. Their creamed spinach was spot on as well as their mashed potatoes. I had a splendid time here and it was for my husband's birthday with our baby. I decided to get him prime rib since he loved prime rib more than a cake. I wouldn't say it's a baby friendly spot, but we did what we can to make it an enjoyable dining experience. Lovely place for any occasion.

Yelp
Four of us had dinner there last month. The girls ordered the filet. My friend and I ordered the ribeye. This restaurant takes pride in advertising their Wagyu beef at $70+ per plate. All well and good for the service, as it was above average. Our dinners came and the girls got nice filets. My friend and I received our ribeye steaks. My steak looked good until I started to eat it, to find out it was laced with gristle. I had to discard at least one half of my steak. I've had better steaks at Mel's diner for breakfast. If you dine at Seared, be aware!

Yelp
Actually it's a 4.5*. Starting off was my call to make our reservation. I am so glad I did. Mary answered the phone and was so very helpful. It was our anniversary and I was a hoping a quiet seating. Well that is where the only negative half star comes in. We were sat right by the water station and sound would bask all bang in my head a bit occasionally when the busters would put back the water jugs. Also it is an extremely loud restaurant even at 330 on a Saturday. On to the best parts. Our waiter was fantastic ,attentive ,helpful, funny, comfortable and loved his job. That is a great way to start the evening, we kept it rather simple but every bite was absolutely delicious. First we ordered drinks husband got a wonderful pint bottle of east coast Rootbeer. I think the name was spretchers, he said it was delicious. I got a tall bottle of ice cold pellegrino wish a chilled glass and lime. We ordered a hamburger and fries and steak with mash and a basket of bread and butter from a local bakery. Every bit was delicious. We did not have room for desert but the menu is fantastic and not to be missed if you have a larger appetite. If you are looking for budget eats they have a wonderful small bites menu that starts at 330 when they open with drink specials too. When we go back we will for sure get a table against the wall or in the window away from the bar. Also, they are fully staffed. I had not seen that since pre covid at least not here in Santa Rosa. Bustling, vibrant and welcoming with great food and drinks. Bravo Seared!

Yelp
A favorite place for drinks and bar food! Whenever we visit family in Petaluma we make a stop!

Yelp
We just had the most amazing experience at seared. The food was delicious. We had prime rib, burgers fillet. We had almost everything on the menu and we have the most lovely server who is generous informative, great service authentic. The food was really delicious truly. And we were celebrating a couple of birthdays and they just handled the whole thing really well and it was casual that also elegant all mixed in at the same time so I get this place five stars everything from the truffle fries and the prawns to the prime rib and the burger fillet ribeye we tried a lot of items the grilled iceberg scallops so good.
google avatar

Yelp
Really noisy and dining rooms felt like a sports bar. But food was good and service was friendly
google avatar

Yelp
Solid steak spot! Was recommended this place and went to celebrate a birthday. Service and food on point. Perfectly cooked steaks. Nice atmosphere without being too stuffy. Highly recommend!
google avatar

Jessica L.

Yelp
Good food. Good service. Nice steak house, kind of casual, not fussy. Fresh oysters. Loved the fries and oysters. A small mistake was made by our server, they took quite a bit of time to give us our food. People who had sat down and ordered after us received their food before us. I inquired about our food. They promptly brought us our food and very kindly made it up to us with a comped dessert and cocktail. The manager came to apologize as well. I think they handled this well. The food was good. Nothing extraordinary but solid. I'd come back if in the area.

Lisa L.

Yelp
Wednesday night, party of 5 and although not a full house, our orders took 45 minutes to arrive. It would have been nice to be offered an appetizer or some bread during the wait. My daughter ordered her filet medium but it arrived rare so had to be returned. The place is so noisy, we could barely talk to each other. There was a charge of over $5.00 included on the bill for ' credit card convenience fee' but I used a debit card. Most patrons of restaurants don't carry $200 + cash so that was an unwelcome surprise. I will not return.

Yelp
Excellent service everyone we go. Happy hour is fantastic and the Espresso martini is the bomb.

Yelp
CAN YOU SAY. HAPPY HOUR?! This is the best happy hour in a 25 mile radius!!! Drinks: ON POINT!! Food: HITTING! Phenomenal flavors! Service: THEY SEE ME! And they're happy to be here. Menu: SALIVATING. So much to choose from for a great price and the flavors are THERE. From the happy hour menu to the main menu My coworker told me this is the place to be and they didn't lie. The bar tenders are fabulous and so are my waiters. OH! And I'm here on a Saturday. THEY HAVE WEEKEND HAPPY HOUR!!! Get here and enjoy yourself! Thank me later What I ate: Oysters, Kung Pao Prawns, Mini Wedge, Dungarees Crab Mac, Pen Pal, Spicy Margaritas (BOMB) ...

Yelp
It was a quite loud place so if you and ur group are interested in a good lively conversation then this might be the place for you. I think every restaurant has a different take on what dishes mean or could be composed of. The carpaccio is just one shape away from being a lox bagel with arugula. I didn't understand the decor against the chandeliers, but the lighting was pretty good. The longhorn photo on the wall was a little off putting with the other decor. Then there's randomly a Tv but you can also see the kitchen preparing some of the dishes. The staff was nice & getting seated was easy. I don't think our server wanted to be there but I think I greeted him too abruptly. We were tired lol. The appetizers came out at different times which I thought was odd but not a complaint! We had the truffle fries as well which I could definitely pass on next time. I understand the restaurant is American but there were like flavors that were atypical of American cuisine. Ex the soy aoli with the truffle fries. We did not try their drinks but the cocktails looked good! The deserts were nice! & the food runners / bussers were extremely efficient!

Yelp
Came here with a girlfriend for happy hour. Got rockstar street parking right in front but my girlfriend wasn't so lucky and had to park a few blocks away. I recommend arriving around 5:15pm. I want to give a shout out to our waitress, Megan. She was super sweet and hospitable. The food was better than I remember the last time I was here. They must be doing something different! Something so right! The prices were right on and the ambiance was just the right level of chill for a Wednesday night.

Ben

Yelp
I haven't been to seared in a hot minute and they were just as good as I remember even better, the food was perfect and hearty, it had a nice lively vibe with the game on. The service was definitely the best part with them being friendly and quick but not rushing.
google avatar

Allie P.

Yelp
Want the best happy hour in town? Look no further my friend. Ranging from $9 cocktails to stellar plates, you really can't go wrong. The prawns with cold noodles and sweet chili is dynamite, the crispy calamari and steak skewers are great. This place offers bold flavors, a fun ambience and well crafted cocktails. If you are ever in the area, check them out!

Yelp
It's my first time here and the place is quite crowded on Sunday evening. It's easy to make reservations on Yelp which is great! We were sitting in the back of the restaurant which is quieter and brighter settings. Ribeye: we ordered medium rare and it came out perfectly. My friend ordered the same but came out bloody. We probably should have told the restaurant to cook a little more since my friend didn't eat much while we finished ours! Prime rib: I ordered medium rare and it came out great. I like the flavor and the horseradish sauce. Oysters: Although it looked small, it tasted fresh! The sauce came with it made it even better!! Donut holes: I got it because it came with the coffee ice cream. The ice cream tasted great. The donut hole has a lot of sugar and cinnamon powder and the donut itself is a little chewy. It's a nice experience. They have many other items I'm interested to try next time!

Yelp
We had a very, very good dinner at Seared, to celebrate my fiances birthday We arrived right on time,5:00 p.m. and we're greeted at the door by the nicest lady, she had long black hair. I do not know her name. She took us to our seat upstairs, which we didn't even imagine was there..The restaurant is very nice. We wanted to take advantage of the Happy hour, 3:30-6:30..When I read Yelp reviews, all the rage was Happy Hour! Guess what? It's true! The menu is so good. We started with drinks and some Happy Hour starters. Then our amazing dinners came, we had the Wagyu steaks, and my son had Prime Rib. Everything was so eye appealing and delicious! We shared the Creme Brulee and Sticky Toffe cake for deserts.. BTW the restaurant was booming by the time we left..Really good Happy vibes..It's the Happy hour and the amazing food! HaHa.. The service is top notch, very pleasant servers and hostesses, Our server was so professional, you can tell he likes his job and values his customers. I can't believe I didn't rem his name, tall dark haired young man, Miguel? Im sorry if i got your name wrong...He was very efficient and friendly..All in All we really enjoyed our visit to Seared and want to send a thankyou to all the crew for making it such a wonderful experience, from the minute we walked in, until we left by all involved.Thankyou.. Our visit was 2/21/25 5:00

Yelp
I'm super disappointed as we frequent Seared and wanted friends to try it. Went and spent $150 on a gift card for them as a gift and without making me aware, they charged me $5 PLUS tax for using my credit card. This is ridiculous! When you own a business, you should take into consideration credit cards fees and if you don't want to pay them, don't accept credit cards. I find it highly questionable to charge a fee and not disclose it to the customer. Also, the Last time we went there, we split the bill with another couple and gave two credit cards and they charged our card twice. Unfortunately after both of these circumstances, we will be spending our money elsewhere.

Yelp
As others have noted, the noise level on the main floor is unbelievably loud. We sat upstairs, which was still noisy but only about half as bad. Unfortunately, the upstairs decor was disappointing with stacked chairs, mismatched and burnt-out bulbs, and a generally unattractive look. The food was excellent: the wedge salad was delicious (though the $2 split charge was annoying), my husband loved the halibut, and my burger was one of the best I've had. Service was good too. But the noise level was out of this world and made the whole experience unpleasant. I honestly felt bad for the employees working in it all night.

Yelp
The food at Seared is top notch! The cocktails were sooo good and the service was great too. Will definitely be back!

Yelp
While visiting Sonoma, we found this restaurant on yelp and decided to give it a try. Firstly, parking on a Friday evening was difficult, we had to circle around the block three times before finding a spot. Once we found parking, we walked over to Seared. The ambiance inside was loud (but not overbearing). We didn't have reservations so we sat on tall chairs by the bar. Service was good. Let's talk about the food. Everything we ordered was amazing. I loved their oysters. The sauces provided for them were delicious. My 6 year old was able to enjoy the bacon Mac and cheese. I ordered the surf and turf because I was craving steak AND when I saw they had scallops as the surf, it was an immediate decision. The scallops were so good and the steak was tender. I finished everything on the plate. My husband got the wagyu ribeye and he liked it as well. Highly recommend for a nice dinner

Todd C.

Yelp
Consistently excellent food and service. Cocktails are creative and perfectly balanced every time. One of our favorite spots in Petaluma!

Arielle L.

Yelp
I've been here a number of times and enjoyed each experience. This most recent time we celebrated my mother-in-laws 70th birthday. The restaurant was bustling, lots of people so it did get a little loud. Service was great, though, very attentive. I think my favorite part of the evening was trying all the appetizers we ordered. The arancini and the Mac and cheese were the standouts for me. For my main I got the halibut which was cooked beautifully. My husband really enjoyed his steak. Highly recommend the toffee cake for dessert! In terms of drinks the bon vivant was a crowd pleaser, I think four of us ended up ordering it! Definitely recommend Seared, I know I'll be back.

Yelp
The food and service are outstanding! However the noise level made casual conversation impossible without having to lean close to each other and raise our voices. In addition the temperature in the restaurant felt very warm. There was no indication of air conditioning with a full and packed house of customers. Both factors made the experience unexpectedly and unfortunately very uncomfortable and hard to relax -- so much so, we were eager to leave. That all said, it was clear the house was packed with Happy customers who did not seem to mind the temperature or decibel levels of conversation.
google avatar

Robert H.

Yelp
The noise was intolerable! My wife and I were there for our 33 wedding anniversary; hoping for a romantic night, it was impossible to enjoy my meal, we had to scream at each other to hear! Will not be in a hurry to go back, unfortunately food and wine were great! Though!!

Yelp
Came here for happy hour and the food was very good. Prime rib sandwich was a bit small for the price. Salad was good and plentiful. Shrimp was good too. D cocktail was very good and not watered down. Decent value for the money. Restaurant was the busiest in downtown. Gotta try this place for dinner.

Paula S.

Yelp
We went to Seared on a Saturday night to celebrate our grandson's 17th birthday. The restaurant and bar was packed with people. Extremely bright and loud. Ambience was sparse. We weren't expecting that, but that was our fault since we hadn't been there before. Service was good. We got a variety of dishes. The oysters were small, calamari was good. Steaks were good. Overall a nice experience, though don't understand the exhorbitant prices... Maybe that's just how things are now. Not likely to return.

Yelp
I've been wanting to get back up to Petaluma and I particularly wanted to try out Seared Steak and Seafood. I came on a Saturday night about an hour before they closed so the crowd had moved on to other locations so seating was easy. On this evening, I grabbed a seat at the bar and met some personable folks sharing their experiences in the area. What was a pleasant surprise was the menu options and especially the pricing put a smile on my face compared to those in SF. The menu has a reasonable list of steak options and a lower amount of seafood choices. This evening, I landed on the Filet Mignon an 8oz. CAB filet mignon, duck fat potatoes, creamed spinach, demi-glace, shallot + blue cheese butter. Very good quality and tasty! There are several other protein options and all very good price points. They have a full bar and some good choices of wines. What I found out is their happy hour is very popular starting from 3:30 pm - 6 pm and also have some very good options off the HH menu. Though my visit was short but memorable I look forward to coming back again to make the happy hour.

Yelp
Great food. I wanted to go to a steakhouse that served quality steak for a special occasion and I believe I chose the right place. We tried the prime rib and it was perfectly cooked. The service was also fantastic. Looking forward to our next visit.

Yelp
Absolutely phenomenal food. Went here for our anniversary. Couldn't recommend the sides (especially Mac n cheese) enough. My husband who is a steak lover actually didn't like the steak though. He thought it was disappointing next to everything else and that's saying something. Would go again for appys, sides and cocktails!

Yelp
Honest review. I've been to multiple steakhouses over the years, never to one in Petaluma. The menu was small, we went here for dinner and there was little variety to choose from. The rib plate was the one I personally got and it was good, but I don't think $38 worth. A bit small, at Stark's in Santa Rosa you can get more meat for around a similar price. The macaroni and cheese was supposedly with lobster, but had minimal lobster. Burger was basic nothing super special or out of this world, in my opinion. The filet mignon was really good but a bit overpriced given the size. Service was good, the waiter was attentive and was super nice and accommodating. Ambiance was upscale, which was not shocking given the prices. Would I come here again? Probably not the portions are small for the price you pay, I might come back but for happy hour if that. Just a side note: if you have a big party they add tip which is normal, but there is also a credit card charge. Which was a bit abnormal for me. I've never been charged a credit card fee in other steak houses.
