Seaside Poke

Google
Super friendly staff, clean space, fast service! Used to go to seaside back in my college days and glad to see it still holds its original charm! I do wish there were less charges per ad-ons like kani, seaweed salad, masago, etc. but still great quality! Thank you!

Brandon H.

Google
Seaside Poke delivers a fresh and flavorful experience with beautifully crafted bowls packed with high-quality ingredients. The service is friendly and efficient, making you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. The atmosphere is clean, modern, and relaxed—perfect for a casual lunch or a quick, healthy bite. Highly recommend!

Super fast and friendly service provided by my server Kenneth P. Food was super delicious and even the small bowl is a big portion. Also highly recommend the salted coffee! I will definitely be returning

Google
good variety of ingredients for design-your-own bowl. great service- quick and gave great information about the ingredients. clean dining area. enjoyed my salmon bowl!

Google
Seaside Poke absolutely hits the mark when it comes to quality, flavor, and customization. The build-your-own poke bowl setup is a game-changer — you get full control over your ingredients without compromising on taste. Every topping is incredibly fresh, but the yellowtail deserves a special shoutout. It’s buttery, clean, and practically melts in your mouth — easily some of the freshest I’ve had. Between the vibrant flavors and the laid-back vibe, this spot has officially earned a top spot on my go-to list. Highly recommend!

Google
My favorite poke place in Houston! Everything here is so fresh. I love their lemon oil. Definitely give this place a try if you’ve been thinking about doing so.

Google
I’ve always enjoyed Seaside Poke. Was pleasantly surprised to find out they had this location outside the loop. Service was great, ambiance inside is bright and airy. Can’t go wrong with anything on the menu, but one of my favs is the yellowtail truffle. Great flavors and always fresh. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for poke!

Yelp
Seaside remains my fave and the best poke in Houston. I will die on that hill. The quality of the fish is great. The flavors and topping options are more unique than most places. Their service is always good, and the restaurant is clean and aesthetically pleasing. I introduced Seaside to my husband, and it's ruined him for other poke places. Nothing hits like Seaside!

Yelp
Upon arrival, I can say I love the style of their seats and decor. Very clean and aesthetically pleasing. I love that there's a little counter where you can fill out your customized bowl. It's just a little tight in there. Got there right when it open and since there was a pop up that day (Enso Matcha), it got packed pretty quick. I customized a bowl for myself and selected half rice and half salad. I chose salmon and spicy tuna as my protein, and opted for spicy aioli, regular ponzu, and truffle oil. I went ham on toppings because... well, why not? I also got the kid's California bowl for my little one. Since he was napping in the car, I decided to get it to-go while we waited for the pop up to be set up. I ate in the car and really appreciated the nicely packaged meal and utensils they provided. The presentation and colors were amazing! I really loved the flavors of everything I chose and happy with the quality and freshness of everything! My son woke up shortly after I finished my bowl and I started to feed him. One thing I noticed towards the end of my bowl was the rice was undercooked. Since I was getting closer to the end of the bowl, I noticed it more then because I was consuming more of the rice at once. There was definitely a bite to the rice. Once I started to feed my son, I noticed his rice was also undercooked and he was not enjoying it as much. He would eat the kani more, but spit out the rice. I also noticed that the kani was spicy for a kids bowl... my poor child was heaving due to the spice, which I did not expect for a kids bowl... fairly disappointing. Overall, I think I would come back to give it another shot... I was really disappointed because I really enjoyed everything else other than the actual rice. The heart of the meal is the protein and base. And if the base is not cooked right, it ruins everything. I truly hope this doesn't happen often.

Yelp
If you like your rice extremely stale and sauces way too salty, then this is the place for you. I've noticed that they've been slow in the last few months, so I'm not surprised that the rice tastes old and that they're probably reusing it. The fish had a slight strange odor to it as well which is the last thing I'd want to describe my raw fish. Considering there are much better options nearby, I won't be making this mistake again. They should call themselves Stale and Smell Poke instead.

Yelp
The food here is great because you can get whatever you want on your bowl. I will say, though, that I was super glad I ordered mine to-go because the air inside the restaurant was super oniony?? Like it smelled so heavily of onions and my eyes were watering and stinging like crazy while I waited for my food to come out. I also got puffed rice on my bowl and personally I thought it looked a little too much like dead mealworms... still tasted great though. I think in the future if I come again I will order online if possible and wait in my car because I don't want to experience the onion air again.

Yelp
This may be my new go-to Seaside location! J. and I stopped by twice in the past month after finding out about this location. Don't get me wrong - I love the original EaDo spot but parking is always a bit of a nightmare. Driving here was quite easy as it is part of the large Marquee complex off of I-10. There is ample parking behind the restaurant and a decent amount in front. The staff have consistently been nice, we did have a newer hire on our last visit who did not input our order correctly but was able to change it when we noticed. The bowls are similarly delicious like the other location. I will add that they seem a bit heavier on the sauces and seasoning, but the same unique tastes of Seaside that I've always loved are still there. My go to is always the tuna aioli and J loves the truffle yellowtail. I like that splitting the large bowl can sometimes be the perfect quantity of food so it doesn't break the bank if you're a poke lover! The restaurant has enough seating for a few groups and has always been open enough on my visits where we can get a table indoors. Till next time!

Yelp
This is hands down the best poke restaurant in Houston! I've been going to Seaside's original location in east downtown and downtown from years ago and am so glad they opened this location in Spring Branch. The fish is super fresh and their topping choices are excellent. I highly recommend the salmon ponzu bowl and adding some Serrano peppers and ginger for a little kick. I get half rice and half salad to get some crunch as well (and to try to be healthy). Decent open seating but not huge inside. No line for lunch on a weekday but could see there being a wait if it starts to get more traction. This may become a weekly spot for me now that it's so close!

Yelp
Tuna aliola - 8/10 Salmon panzu - 7.5/10 Truffle yellowtail - 7.5/10 Chips - 9/10 Lemonade tea - 9/10 Sweet tea - 8/10 I liked the poke but i think if i made my own bowl i would like it better since i would customize it to my liking. I wasnt a hugeee fan of their signature bowls, they were on the drier side but if they were more saucy and had some texture like crisp then it would be

Yelp
Went on a Saturday for lunch and loved it! The interior is super sleek and modern. I loved the plants on the walls and the aesthetic seating. I also like how you can just fill out a form to order. My poke bowl was super fresh and you can tell all the ingredients are very high quality. This place is also unique because it has spicy yellowtail as a protein. I'm a big fan of their variety of options and glad that they added a poke spot in this area. Parking is also very easy and there is even a feng cha in the same plaza if you are craving a sweet treat after your meal.

Yelp
Seaside Poke is a local poke restuarant with three different locations in Houston. I have tried their location in the Underground Foodhall before, but this is my first time visiting their stand alone location near Spring Branch. There is limited parking in the front but more parking in the back. The inside is spacious and clean with lots of seating and natural lighting. I got the regular with three scoops of protein where I chose the spicy tuna and salmon. Avocado and seaweed salad are an additional cost. The fish and toppings were very fresh. I really like the puff rice toppings, as well. I do wish the scoops of proteins were a bit bigger, however. For the sauce, I like to get the spicy aioli, which tastes like spicy mayo. Overall, I think Seaside Poke has become one of my favorite places in Houston, as the fish is fresh, and the toppings are great.

Yelp
I love poke! Seaside Poke is a solid poke restaurant though there are others in Houston that are slightly better. The interior is very clean and decently spacious. The service was good - friendly staff. Lastly the fish was fresh and sauces flavorful. After tax and tip, it does end up being quite an expensive meal. And if you come during a rush, you'll end up waiting in line for quite a while. I do recommend you try this place and give it a shot. Warning about the parking - it's in a congested area near a Chick Fil A, Jersey Mike's, Panda Express, etc so just know that there is unlimited parking as long as you're willing to park a little further away.

Yelp
I guess I've been living under a rock, but I just discovered this location! We haven't been making the trip to Eado due to lack of parking and it being so far, so we are so excited for this location! Ordering is super easy. There are little order pads along the wall before you order at the register where you can mark what you want to build your own bowl. There are also signature bowls that already have flavors, textures, and fish picked out, if you get decision paralysis like me. I was very happy with my bowl - super fresh and flavors are just how I remember it! It was very clean inside and the staff were very patient and friendly! There are a few designated parking spots for Seaside and a parking lot - much easier than Eado! Will definitely be visiting regularly!

Yelp
Came here for their grand opening (unexpectedly). I follow Kohiko coffee shop and saw they were doing a pop up here the day before. For the grand opening, Seaside Poke was giving out 100 free signature poke bowls. The staff were extremely friendly despite the long lines and craziness that follows with grand openings and free food. The interior is a little small but not sure if it being packed with 20+ people helped. I got the spicy tuna bowl and the ingredients taste fresh. To my surprise, they were fully prepared for this opening and you can tell. The was no shortage of any ingredients and my bowl was made quick. Despite the rush, they still were able to deliver excellent service, quality, and speed. Overall will visit again (and shoutout Kohiko Coffee House for their first popup!)

Yelp
Ordered the 3 scoop truffle yellowtail bowl today with all salad. It was way too salty and too spicy. It also was a very small portion. I would not recommend it. 6 months ago I ordered my own bowl with 5 scoops and it wasn't salty but still seemed small compared to other poke places. It was just ok.

Yelp
Had high hopes for this place, but it was meh. I like how they had the sheets for you to order. Wish they had shrimp as a protein option. I also wish they gave a little more protein in the bowl considering the protein is cut up a bit smaller than most places in my opinion. After you pick on the sheets for build your own, you walk up to the counter to order and pay. The food comes out at a reasonable amount of time.

Yelp
I stopped by seaside poke for a quick meal to grab on the way back to school. They have several premade bowls as well as ones that you can build your own. I got a regular 3 scoop bowl with salmon, tuna, and kani over rice. I topped it with white and green onion, cilantro, furikake, fried garlic and shallots, and nori. I also sauced it up with spicy aioli, ponzu, and Thai basil oil. The bowl is a little smaller than what I'm used to but it smelled so good when I opened it. I love the crunch from all the toppings and the overall flavor was good. Overall a solid poke bowl but nothing will still top don don

Yelp
Just opened. It's a poké bowl restaurant. Have not tried it yet. Looks like a good bet! Friendly, helpful staff. Smells clean!

Yelp
Excellent food, service and place! Highly recommend!! The man that took my order was on top of it!

Yelp
I love poke and I like to try out different places around Houston. This place was my least favorite. Since it's new I wanted to check it out. But they didn't have siracha sauce Rice was so hard My bowl tasted salty I couldn't even finish it. Place is nice and clean. The girls were also nice

Yelp
10/10 This is the best Poke in town (yes, even better than the location in Eado), but both are great. The staff were also very friendly. Ingredients were fresh and portions were great! Thank you

Sandra N.

Yelp
The best pokey bowl EVER!! We go here at least 4-5 times a week. Thank youuu for being there. We luv your place. So fresh n yummy!! Thank YOUUU so much!
google avatar

Yelp
Customer service was good but the food tasted below par. I would've preferred more sauce. Misago was extra which we had to ask to "add more". The server tried to show that it was in the bowl when there was none. I'd suggest pokeworks instead :)

Yelp
So happy they are in the neighborhood. It's fresh and fast and delicious. This is our go to!

Aaron D.

Yelp
I ordered a truffle yellowtail signature bowl and they tried to upcharge me for the yellowtail in this bowl. They said in order for it to be all yellowtail, it costs more than the menu price. I said why does it not say it on the menu. They said it says it on the build your own menu. I said am ordering a signature bowl not a build your own bowl. I feel like that was false advertising and misleading so I left. As I walked outside I saw the cashier laughing at me.

Yelp
I was super excited this Poke place opened on Silber. Nice store front. Looks clean. Friendly staff. I had a tuna bowl and the tuna was amazingly fresh. Unfortunately the ratio of sauce to rice was wrong resulting in a bowl that tasted bland. The small amount of sauce was at the bottom under a mountain of white rice. Just something to watch. Next time (yes I intend to try again) I am going to ask for 1/2 the rice and more sauce.

Ian D.

Yelp
Their poke taste decent and somewhat good. For some reason i feel a bland vibe.. has flavor and quality but lacking flavor. Kind of bland? The other odd thing is they don't have soy sauce for us to eat with our raw fish bowls. Very strange.

Andrew H.

Yelp
I love poke and always try new places. Was a complete let down. Rice was hard, it actually looked like my bowl was made 1 hour before I ordered it. It was beyond bland flavorwise. Also, many other poke places when charging 20+ dollars for a bowl of rice give you unlimited toppings. (Not fish) I truly couldn't eat it. I ordered via uber eats and will never eat here again.

Thomas T.

Yelp
Great quality service and price. I enjoyed going to seaside when I worked downtown and I was really happy when they opened a location in spring branch.
