My company and team of 5 do a team building activity every quarter and this was by far the best experience! Chef John was extremely personable, professional and flexible from our first interaction to the end. He opened up his lovely home and kitchen to us for a 3 hour period, teaching us tips and tricks in the kitchen as him and his apprentice guided us through the recipes for a full course Mediterranean Meal that he picked out for us to cook based on our allergies and food preferences. Our meal also included a tasty wine pairing with a local Rose'. He was humorous and genuine and had everything ready for us just like you see on TV. His pricing was also very reasonable for the time, effort, ingredients and hospitality and training provided. I highly recommend Chef John for any cooking occasion whether it be for work, personal or both!

My daughter and I had a private class in my home with Chef John. He arrived on time, fully prepared with ingredients, cookware and a great personality. Although we have both been cooking for a long time, John taught us so much. I liked the fact he doesn't waste any food. Highly recommend Seasons to Taste.

Wanna highly recommend this class to everyone the instructor is extremely knowledgeable. Teaches you everything from how to shop for groceries to how to chop it to how to season it to how to cook it and not just using recipes using flavors to create meals. Incredible class very entertaining. Nice small group, look into this class. It’s a really good.

I bought a home cooking/learning session as a Christmas gift for my wife. John arrived at our house with all the ingredients and cooking pans and utensils. He talked to us not just about how to make the meal but what happens with cooking, how to hold the knife, cut onions and other vegetables so they don't fall apart, importance of waiting until the pan is hot for cooking, and so much more. We didn't cook from looking at a recipe and we seasoned everything to taste. My wife and I learned so much and had a fantastic meal. The experience was so much better than I had anticipated. John thank you for a great night of learning and cooking.

My 18 year old daughter and I took his Essential Series class together and learned a ton! No recipes, just intuitive learning, understanding how to cook from the inside out! John is knowledgeable, patient, comprehensive and entertaining! Highly recommend for anyone wanting to improve their food and fun in the kitchen!

I want to thank John for putting together an amazing Essential Cooking class. I was impressed with how much time and preparation John put into organizing this material. He shared a wealth of knowledge from his years of being a chef at fine restaurants, while also managing to "keep it real" with basics we can all use. I especially liked the hands on practice and coaching in the kitchen, learning knife skills and tips for whisking, flipping, putting out fires (literally) and food safety. I highly recommend this class for anyone who wants to amp up their cooking skills and find more enjoyment in the experience.

My husband and I had an amazing time cooking with John! We are cooking novices, and John was such a fantastic and patient teacher. We had such a fun time learning knife skills, how to make different dumpling folds, and how to roll out and cut fresh pasta. Our meal was delicious, and at the end of the night we were super excited to have the opportunity to make our own dumplings and pasta again. Chef John's passion for cooking is contagious, and we'd love to pick up some more skills from him.
