Wonderful selection and generous portion!
On my recent hiking trip at Torrey Pines State Park, I decided to stop at a local eatery for a quick lunch. I felt really lucky to have found Seasurf Fish, which was a restaurant minutes away from the state park.
Located in a strip mall, this restaurant offers casual dining with wide varieties of seafood options in different cuisines. Customers would place their orders at the counters, and the servers will deliver them to your table at ready. Free water station is available on the side. Parking is ample within the strip mall.
The menu offers diverse choices from fresh oyster, seafood chowder, tacos, fish and chips, seafood pokes, Southern seafood dishes, and cioppino. They also have taco Tuesday, where tacos are available for a few dollars each. For my lunch, I ordered the clam chowder, assortment of oyster, and tuna pokes. The clam chowder was very flavorful with ample servings of clams and potatoes. The tuna poke tasted fresh, and the serving was large enough for a big lunch. The cost was around $26 with taxes and tips, which was a steal of the quality and volume of food.
As for ambiance and service, the restaurant was clean and our food came very quickly. There was a large line at lunch hour, which hinted at the popularity of this place among locals.
Overall, it is a wonderful restaurant for seafood lovers!
