I stopped by here by chance. The parking lot is around the store. From the outside, it feels like you can't tell it's a chocolate store at all. But there was a Seattle chocolate sign at the entrance. There were quite a few people inside the store, and I found out later that there was the chocolate factory tour. I thought I'd like to join the tour next time. I looked around the store slowly, but it was hard to choose because there were various kinds of chocolate with very fun packaging and unusual combinations. After much hesitation, I first chose five flavors I wanted to try from Minibar Chocolate. And I got a package for five of those minibars. It's cute like a mini book. The woman at the store is bright and very energetic. And this is the flagshop store.

I took the factory tour with my 2 kids (6 and 11) recently and it was awesome: from learning about cocoa trees, beans and the manufacturing process; the visit of the factory, while short, is super informative too and finally the chocolate tasting is cherry on the cake! It is a great thing to do with kids. I am so grateful to see a business like this women-owned and carbon neutral, making an impact not just on your palate but on the Earth. Will definitely come back to buy more chocolate because it's also so good!

I don’t do a lot of reviews but felt I had to for this. I arrived at 9:45a hoping to buy a same-day pass for the 10a chocolate tour. Due to my own ability to not pre purchase, the tickets had all sold out sadly. That offered me a 12pm tour instead but sadly, I have a flight at 4pm and didn’t want to risk it. However, the staff there was incredibly. One wonderful friend with lovely tattoos and beautiful red nails expressed sincere apologies that I wasn’t able to do the tour but again, I understand that that was my poor planning. I am traveling from Arizona and this was my last stop before heading home. This person went out of their way to make sure I was attended to, offered me some fun information that I would not have learned otherwise as well as offering suggestions on various products. Because of them I was able to try two different products that I ended up purchasing as well as a chocolate I really enjoyed the last time I was in Seattle but couldn’t remember the name of. Absolutely phenomenal service from all three employees that I interacted with. When I return next year i definitely will be purchasing a ticket ahead of time for the tour. I truly only planned on spending a couple dollars getting a chocolate bar or two but ended up very easily spending $50 (well worth it). Thank you so much again to the people that were there today and for going out of your way to make sure I felt included.

No more Theo tours? Not a probelm here. Although they provide vegan chocalate options, their chocolate really leans into experimental flavor combinations and fantastic branding on lol of their packaging. This establishment is well worth a visit anytime you make it down to Southcenter mall. A Tukwila staple for years, I’m glad Seattle chocolates remains in effect for all candy enthusiasts!

Google
This was an informative and fun tour experience. You get to learn about tastings, see the factory and learn about it, then taste (and buy!) delicious socially responsible chocolate!

Google
The tour was fun and educational! Got to taste several chocolate samples at the end. Shout out to Dani for being an amazing guide and making my husband’s birthday extra special!

Google
Such delicious chocolate. So many different flavors and varieties. Every Saturday they have discounted chocolate for sale ($11/lb) for chocolate that is perfectly delicious but didn't come off the factory line as beautiful so we get to benefit. Staff is super friendly. Facility is clean. They offer tours you can sign up for. Bathroom is huge and clean.

Google
Took my son on the tour after reading Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and watching all the related movies. Very lovely experience. There are chocolates to taste throughout and you get a comprehensive overview of the chocolateering process from where the beans come from all the way through packaging. The store is vibrant and fun. The chocolates are divine and the unique flavor combinations are extraordinarily fun. If it wasn't a core memory for him, it was for me.

Yelp
I had previously gone on the Seattle Chocolate tour so when I went again, it was just as fun as the first time. Our tour guide was Dani. She was informative and fun. I love the company's policy of giving back 10% of their net proceeds. They have on site parking. The best part of the tour was the chocolate samples especially the little cup of melted milk chocolate.

Oliver A.

Yelp
As a Seattle native, I never knew Seattle Chocolates had a factory tour. The experience was pretty pleasant, they gave you a bit of a history lesson, but it was interactive throughout. Our tour guide was also very friendly and answered all our questions. I don't remember her name, but she was passionate about her job. I think that's why our tour was pretty good. If you like chocolates you will get to try out different kinds throughout the experience and learn about the differences between them. Pretty cool stuff! You also get a 10% discount at the end to use in the store after.

Karissa S.

Yelp
I have been a fan of Seattle chocolates since I was in high school. Pro tip, Saturdays they offer bags of "imperfect " chocolate for around $11 , it's a steal! Only downside is you never know what flavors will be available. The quality of Seattle chocolates is good and their ethics are notable as well. 10% of their proceeds go to a charity. I have since moved away from Seattle, however whenever I am in town I try to stop by and stock up!

Amy C.

Yelp
This experience was so much fun, who doesn't love some chocolate. Only crazy people in my opinion. Haha. While on vacation we visited this factory, we did the tour and learned some new things about chocolate and where it comes from. My family and I really enjoyed the tour, highly recommend, especially if you have the tour guide named Blaze. Blaze was great, energetic and fun!!! He made the tour; for sure. The store was small but very cutely decorated for Christmas. The displays of their chocolate were pleasing to the eye and they had some lovely options for gift purchasing. The chocolates were delightful and they had some unique flavors that I wasn't so sure about but they ended up being very good. If you are in the area, definitely check it out. Great learning experience for all ages.

Wennie H.

Yelp
Seattle Chocolate is one of my favorite chocolate brands. The factory tour is fun, especially the Halloween one. I've done a few events here and the organization, follow through and staff are always flawless. Great experiences here and delicious chocolate.

Yelp
My husband surprised me for my birthday by taking me here for three Seattle Chocolate tour and it was so much fun! We drove and they have a parking lot. We did the 10am on a Tuesday tour and it ended up being just us which was pretty cool! Our tour host was Caleb and he was soo nice! We really enjoyed our tour with him! The tour: Starts with some intro videos and a little chocolate tasting to start - some heated chocolate in a cup and some cocoa nibs. Both very tasty. Then we started the factory tour - which doesn't allow phones, glass, gum or personal belongings - they have lockers you can put everything in and they give hairnets. It was really cool to see the behind the scenes of everything being made. The final part was the tasting and also my favorite part! We got to try a nice variety of their different chocolates and all had a really diverse flavor! So much fun trying to guess the flavors and tasting notes. Afterwards, we went shopping in their store which has a ton of different chocolates! We bought some gifts for family and of course some chocolate for ourselves. Their store is super cute! Staff is friendly and welcoming and it's such a fun experience just to come and check out all of the different chocolate flavors available! 10/10 would come for their other events and to get more chocolate! I heard they do some fun Halloween things. They also have chocolate sales on the imperfect bars that aren't wrapped down distribution once in awhile!

Christina M.

Yelp
What a great tour! It was so fun. Being attached to the storefront is dangerous but makes for some great souvenirs!

Kim R.

Yelp
The staff was really friendly, helpful and accommodating. I went on a tour with friends, but unfortunately was not able to eat any chocolate due to health restrictions, so the staff kindly provided me with herbal tea and vegan snacks while the others were enjoying their chocolate samples. Our tour guide Jaden gave us lots of info about how chocolate is made and the tour was interesting and informative. Easy parking and an enjoyable way to spend a few hours.

Yelp
I can't believe I have not written a review on my favorites chocolates. I've been here 5 times in the past 2 years when we are in Seattle area, I even order on-line. This is my favorite chocolate truffle, I'm definitely hooked on the mexican chocolate, bubbly and champagne (all dark chocolates). But during the holidays they had candy cane and this blew me away, was trying to order more online but it was sold out. Hope they bring it back next christmas 2024. Their truffles will last up to a year, so obviously I stock up since we do not live in state. If you ever there on a saturday take advantage of their special $10.00 bags of chocolate that did not make the cut, I've caught this special once and it was amazing, the price and amount you get for $10 is such a deal. The store is really cute and typical PNW style, colorful and bright. The cute pig at the front is a cutie to take a picture with and not to mention they also have a selfie wall. They do chocolate factory tours but I've never been on one, maybe when we not stopping by and rushing I'll plan to squeeze in a tour one day. The only downside to this factory location is the vibe walking in is not so welcoming, sometimes we get a hello and sometimes not, sometimes we get asked if we need help and sometimes not, sometimes we don't get help but the person after us does? Its a strange customer service vibe in this place. On my last trip we had a nice friendly person and she offered samples, asked if we needed help, etc. When I shop there I always walk out purchasing alot, and no one every told me nor is there signage that says if you purchase over $50 they can box your chocolate in there special gift box? Thats strange? The chocolates are my fav and I'll deal with the unusual customer service they provide?

Yelp
This is my fourth visit to this tour in the past 11 years, and it keeps getting more enjoyable each time, despite being the same tour. The tour guides truly make each experience unique with their amazing personalities. I have to highlight just how incredible the chocolate is! Yesterday, we had our first chance to visit the factory and see the chocolate-making process in action. We were lucky to witness it firsthand. The factory itself is beautiful and inviting, with the wonderful aroma of fresh chocolate adding to the experience.

Tara R.

Yelp
This is for their Factory Tour. Went on a Saturday and had a great experience. There is no production on Friday or Saturday so you will not see people working but we knew that when booking. The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. You start in their classroom then take the factory tour and then back to classroom for tasting. We learned about the cacao plant and tasted truffles, solid bars and truffle bars and used our taste buds to see what flavor notes we could pick out. I think our tour guides name was Dani. They were fun, knowledgeable and passionate about chocolate. You get a 10% discount on purchases after the tour and if you go on certain Saturday's they have their "seconds" sale and you can get a pound of chocolate for $10. The whole facility from bathrooms to factory floor was clean and bright. Would highly recommend!

Lisa L.

Yelp
My friend brought me along for a tour at the Seattle Chocolate Factory which took about 1 hour, and it was such an enjoyable experience. Our tour guide was Dani, and she was amazing! She had such a positive attitude and really made the tour fun to follow along. On the tour, you will learn about how the company started, how chocolate is made, and where they get their coacoa beans from. I learned so many things! We were then allowed to tour the factory where all of their chocolate is made. It was such a cool thing to see. I feel like people of all ages would enjoy. My favorite part was the blind tasting test without a question. I definitely felt like I grew a bigger appreciation to eating premium chocolate. I highly recommend this visiting! If you take the tour, you get 10% their products to purchase in the store.

J B.

Yelp
Super friendly staff, generous tasting portions & information, interesting company story. The factory tour was thorough, interesting, & we saw just about everything that there was to see in the factory. Keep in mind that it's a small factory with only 2 production lines, in case you thought this might be a giant Wonka complex. :] Thanks

Tifanie S.

Yelp
We landed in Seattle and came straight here! Such a great start to our trip. I was so impressed with the factory, the taste of the chocolate, and the operations behind everything. Woman CEO, amazing tour, yummy chocolate! I love it. Caleb was such a great tour guide, engaging, funny and passionate! I loved how they gave samples while you waited until the tour start time. Best nice and clean place. The only thing I didn't like was that you could not take pictures in the factory but I understand for safety and cleanliness reasons. Such a wonderful experience and tour. Please check out Seattle chocolate and take the tour. 10/10 service, clean place, chocolate and tour!

Kai C.

Yelp
This place is the bomb. We haven't done the tour yet but based on the store alone - so fun! You walk in and are greeted by a funny pig statue and a much larger store than I had expected - plus cheerful greetings from the staff and tons of free samples (the black fig pistachio is amazing if you like dark chocolate). Needed a gift for a friend in town and was worried about the chocolate melting, so they suggested the truffles, which are also well known. Tons of types of chocolate and also gift items like bags, coasters, etc. I think maybe there was a tour coming up because the folks coming in the door was steady, one after the other. A fun place to stop by if you are driving past.

Eric M.

Yelp
I was expecting just a regular tour of a factory, but I got so much more! Before you go inside the warehouse/factory, you first go into a tasting room where you learn about chocolate, its history, and how to taste chocolates using your senses. From there, you go into the factory and see how the chocolate is made, wrapped, and packaged for shipping. With exception of the actual chocolate, everything here is done by hand, especially the wrapping, so I gained so much more respect for the workers. It can't be an easy job, but they make it look so easy. I only wish the tour was longer. I remember going to the Hershey's factory and seeing every piece being created. For this tour, you only get a small glimpse into the chocolate making process After the tour is over, you are welcome to buy chocolate from the gift shop. If you're a chocoholic, then this is the place for you!

Sarah S.

Yelp
I am a second timer on the Seattle Chocolates tour. It was so much fun and we had a ball! I would recommend this tour to everyone! For those who have never been, it is so worth it. For those who have been before, it is a BALL going back. There is so much to see, learn and taste. I feel like this tour is solid in its flow of tasting, education, and walking around. I could do this every weekend and have just as great of a time! We felt so pampered on the tour and learned a lot. Without giving too many of the details of the tour away, it is fun to learn about chocolate while trying out a bunch of samples and different flavors. It is also so cool to be able to actually see the factory for ourselves and look at the machines they use. This tour is the perfect length of time-it was an hour of chocolate knowledge and samples. We ended the tour with some shopping in their bright gift shop. This is so worth it and I know I will be back! Tips: be sure to report any allergies you might have when they ask, and pack a cooler in your car for your chocolate haul. Come with questions and an appetite.

Yelp
Nope, didn't go to Seattle recently. I did pay (overpaid!) for a Seattle Chocolate Company Pike Place Espresso Dark Chocolate Truffle Bar (with decaf espresso) at a candy place in Studio City over the weekend. Actually held out for two days before peeling open the bar and trying it. WOW! That is quite the delicious chocolate treat! Very smooth and elegant, not too sweet, and that smart espresso taste that carries through the melting sensation. Lots of interesting info on the back of the label. The company is Woman Owned. I see from their website that they are extremely creative in coming up with new flavors, including seasonally. Will have to check out which other vegan choices they offer. Non-GMO-Certified, Rainforest Alliance member, vegan, gluten free, and only 180 calories for half the 2.5 ounce bar. I'm sold!

Paul K.

Yelp
This place is SWEET! (get it? ha ha) We came here for the tour and also to buy some chocolate. I love supporting local businesses and found out this one is actually woman-owned so that makes it even better! We really enjoyed the hour long tour and all it taught us. We came on a Saturday which is when they have their factory seconds sale weekly. $10 bags of a lot of different chocolates. This place has great chocolates and a real Seattle connection. They have partnered with Pearl Jam, Marshawn Lynch (Beast Mode) and Alaska Airlines for specialty chocolate offerings. We ended up getting about $85 worth of chocolates with the build your own, the factory seconds, Christmas specials, and some other exotic flavors. They really have a lot of flavors to choose from and have mostly truffles in both bars and singles and have their sub brand called JCOCO, which is more specialty flavors, etc. A great Insta-ready lobby with great photo ops. Good staff as well. Great job Seattle Chocolate! Keep it going.

Justine A.

Yelp
Came in to get some chocolates to mail out to family and friends. Got overwhelmed by the options, then found out they do chocolate tasting/tour! They were able to squeeze us in. Friendly staff and very helpful. It's very nice there. Organized and very clean. Almost exactly like what you'd expect basically. Sad I found this place right before our move out of state, but happy to be able to order online. Highly recommend to book their tour/tasting. You'll learn a fun fact or two and taste a handful of delicious chocolates to help you choose your picks!

Jacki C.

Yelp
We attended the annual Haunted Chocolate Factory tour. It was amazing - excellent costumes, script, and actors!

Scott T.

Yelp
First timers to Seattle and just happened to stop by when they had the special $5 per bag. Took it to my office in Hawaii and everyone ate it all up! It's on their list to visit now. Great quality chocolates and not super sweet! Great variety of choices too! Bought the vegan chocolates for my nieces! Omg they want more!!!!

Neal P.

Yelp
I wrote a nasty version of this review earlier this evening when I was in line, because I had a reservation, got their 15 mins early b/c needed to get my kid home in time for bed, and due to the very weird and confusing way they had people line up, we ended up waiting 30 additional minutes, for a total of 45. BUT, they made an attempt to fix the lines, gave us chocolate to say sorry, and the tour was AWESOME. Just AWESOME. Silly enough to be kid friendly but fun and full of scares. And a food excuse to buy chocolate. We had an awesome time. So, clearly, good intentions, a desire to make it as fun as possible for everyone, and clearly everyone there put a ton of work into it and enjoyed it. I recommend.

Jessica S.

Yelp
What a fun experience this was! My husband and I ventured here for the Halloween Haunted Chocolate Factory Tour and it was an amazing experience!! We raved to our friends about coming here for Halloween. It's family friendly, plus getting to leave with chocolate is always a bonus! We found the check in process for the Haunted Chocolate Factory tour to be easy. The tour itself was so much fun, with just the right amount of spooky. Prices for the tickets for the tour were very reasonable. I found the whole experience top notch. Everything was super clean, including the restrooms. Also, wearing a mask wasn't cumbersome like I thought it would be. Highly recommend coming here for next years Halloween!

Heather B.

Yelp
Jaden did a great job of proving a wealth of information before and during the tour. We were so happy to hear about the farmers in Peru earning living wages and health care provided for their cacao farming as well as factory workers in Tukwila earning living wages along with good benefits for themselves. The sustainability and eco friendly way in which the company works means the chocolate prices are going to be higher than. Common uphold brand... but they also will be MUCH better quality ingredients as well as knowing workers who provide the products are able to provide for their families and we aren't taking advantage of them. The chocolate was super tasty and we purchased some of the wrapped pieces of chocolate after the tasting was completed. They sell one pound bags of the broken pieces on Saturdays to reduce waste. A one pound bag of wrapped chocolates is $28, and the one pound bag of unwrapped broken chocolate bar pieces is $10. The warehouse and tasting area are very clean and workers friendly. We will be back!

Yuchen Z.

Yelp
Came here on a Friday for their Chocolate Tour. I had a great time! I learned a lot about their chocolate and I liked being able to walk through the factory. The BEST part is definitely the tasting. I appreciated being able to taste 6+ different kinds of chocolates and really got to enjoy them. I only ended up liking 1 bar (the Trail Mix) and one truffle (the Pink Bubbles) but at least I got to sample them to know I didn't want to buy one. I took away a star because I came on a Friday and unfortunately, the factory was not running that day so if you want to see the actual production line, definitely come on another weekday. They run it from M-Thursday. It kind of sucks that even though you don't get to see the production, the tour is the same price and all so... just beware. You get 10% discount on purchases if you fill out their survey at the end of the tour though! Everyone was very nice at the shop. If you are traveling and are afraid that the chocolate will melt, ask for an ice pack to go! The man behind the counter was very nice and kindly gave us one to go!

Phuong N.

Yelp
I personally like the Pink Bubbly chocolates, fruity and fun! I keep them handy in my work desk for those days I need a pick me up. Seattle chocolates also make for great gifts because of their variety. Every time I've been in, the store associates are always helpful and friendly. Book the tour if you are looking for a fun weekend activity.

Karol D.

Yelp
Caleb was our amazing tour guide. His welcoming and upbeat personality set the tone for the entire tour. His presentation was informative and interesting. He answered all of our questions with enthusiasm. I appreciated Jayden and Dani's courteous customer service as they informed me how they could accommodate my son who has severe nut allergies and my father who is a bit unstable when he walks. My family and I enjoyed learning about Seattle Chocolate, loved the samples and left with a new understanding and appreciation of chocolate.

Jamie E.

Yelp
I had my first taste of Jcoco chocolate on an Alaska Airlines flight and that one 3oz bar sent me on a deep dive into Seattle Chocolates. After buying and trying so many flavors from the store in the airport in Seattle, I finally found out you could take a tour of the factory! I called my cousin who lives in the area, flew up for a visit, and off we went. It was super affordable (less than $15 a ticket and you got chocolate samples!) and it was really fun! A badass woman running a badass company is one that I will forever support. I can't wait to visit again, restock on truffles, and bring some more family to do the tour. This is some of the most amazing chocolate I've ever had. It's delicious, inventive, and a quality that is hard to find these days.

Van M.

Yelp
Best chocolate that the entire family loves! Easy to buy online and ships quickly. Sign up for their emails and they have plenty of sales throughout the year. I will have to check the price difference in store vs online

Lisa A.

Yelp
I consider myself to be a chocolate fiend! The obsession grows as I get older. I received chocolate from Seattle Chocolate as a Christmas gift recently. I received dark chocolate with toffee from their holiday collection. I'm not crazy about dark chocolate however...the chocolate from here was outstanding! It tasted creamy and fresh with a bit of crunch from the toffee in it. It was definitely top quality chocolate! I loved it! The chocolate pretty much melted in my mouth...and a bit in my hand. I've never been to Seattle but luckily Seattle Chocolate sells their chocolate on Amazon and via their own website. They have a wide variety of chocolate! A bar of chocolate like the one pictured costs $4.75. It's a little bit more than I'd like to pay but I think it's totally worth the price! They also offer holiday care packages and so much more! Unfortunately some of their holiday packages were already sold out the last time I checked a few days ago. I will definitely order chocolate from them soon! I'm interested in purchasing more chocolate bars from their holiday collection. There's only six days until Christmas so I better get on that like yesterday! If I ever go to Seattle, I'll visit for sure! I highly recommend Seattle Chocolate. Check it out, there's something for everyone, especially the chocolate lovers in your life.

Anna S.

Yelp
Absolutely check out the factory tour - such a fun, interesting, and definitely delicious experience! The ~$13 ticket gives you access to a hands-on Chocolate 101 lesson, a "behind the scenes" look at the factory, and a guided tasting. If you come on a Saturday, they have bulk "production scraps" bags of their chocolate for just $10. Our guide did a wonderful job keeping us engaged while sharing plenty of interesting facts, from how Seattle chocolate is made to pro-tips for tasting, pairing, and cooking with chocolate. We got to enjoy their truffles as a reward for getting trivia questions right.

DD C.

Yelp
Excellent and personable chocolate experience. Video presentation, factory tour with guided chocolate tasting.

Nicole Z.

Yelp
The chocolate tour is the best! Our tour guide answered every question thrown her way and made the experience fun. We got to watch videos, taste different chocolate flavors and learned how it's all made. We paid $27 for two of us and it was about an hour long. This has to be one of the best chocolate brands I ever tasted! I would highly recommend bringing anyone that loves chocolate and learning how food is made! What a fun place!

Rachel S.

Yelp
On a whim, on Wednesday (9/22/2021) while driving to get gas, we randomly drove past a chocolate factory that had a sign out front that said that they offered tours. Immediately went online and booked a tour for later that day. I'm so glad that we did! If you're in Seattle, check out this tour. It was only $12 a person (plus tax & fees) but it wasn't simply a factory tour, but a tasting class as well! We sampled a lot of chocolates in the class and they had people on the line working during the factory tour. I had no idea that people were hand packaging these chocolates in the paper sleeve! We obviously weren't allowed to bring phones on the factory tour, but my favorite machine was the robot arms that picked up the silicone molds, suctioned the sheet of cooled chocolate out, and plopped it on the conveyor belt to be cut into squares. Of all the chocolates that we sampled, the chocolate with sesame bar was my favorite. Sounds like a weird combination, but it was really nice! All of their chocolates are kosher. Their metallic-looking truffle wrappers are backyard compostable - made from eucalyptus trees that are sustainably harvested from Forest Stewardship Council managed forests. In addition, the chocolate comes from Rainforest Alliance Certified farms in West Africa & small batch farms in Peru. Finally, a portion of their proceeds goes back to charity to feed the hungry in the community.

Angel M.

Yelp
Definitely enjoyed our experience at the Seattle Chocolate factory! Amy was so great at educating us about the process of how the chocolate is made at the factory. There are so many little details and important information that goes into the creation of chocolate, and Amy made sure to cover every single step and detail. To also add, we also had a member of our group who was vegan, and Amy and her team made sure to cater to her needs and presented her a variety of chocolate tastings that fitted her dietary restrictions. Thank you again to not only Amy, but her team as well for ensuring that we were having a great overall experience. Definitely a 10/10 for customer service, chocolate quality and experience!!

Yelp
My first experience with Seattle Chocolate was on a Virgin America (remember them?) cross country flight, and this little gem was the sweet in my snack box. I don't favor Blackberry, but this was REALLY good; enough so where I had to check them out when I landed. I went to their directory to see if any local places carried their line and since this was few years ago, nothing was up to date and I was disappointed each time I called or visited one of their defunct listings. Finally, I was craving chocolate so bad (some of you crave drugs, etc. this is my urge) and I saw myself searching them again, finally placing an order with an introductory 15% off code. I ordered the birthday cake batter flavor and the Pride bag since it contained the rainbow colors which happened to have five flavors I wanted to try out of the six offered, in addition to having a % go to the state's LGBTQ. I was really looking forward to receiving my order but the shipping was pretty terrible. In CA, they utilize what looked like FedEx, but the link opened up to another shipping company called 'GLS'. In transition, they missed the delivery cutoff TWICE and the cherry on top was the actual delivery guy just threw my package over the gate so it lands somewhere on the ground (thankfully, I live right near the front so I heard him yell out DELIVERY and then I heard the box drop). I thought no way was that my package, but of course it was. I don't blame Seattle Chocolate for this, but if you are ordering from them and live in an apartment complex in CA, watch out. That being said, the product itself is fantastic, and I am happy with all of the flavors, even the Hiker's trail truffle (green wrapper) which I was a little wary of. They all cover my craving.

Paul S.

Yelp
I was taken here for my birthday to experience the factory tour and absolutely loved the experience. They give you some of their excellent chocolate and you learn how to be a chocolate taster! Oh, and you get to see and touch a cacao pod--I never knew how chocolate was made prior to this experience. I find the factory operations fascinating, so if you do, you'll love it. Our tour guide was fun and knowledgeable--they seemed quite proud of working there and the fact it's a woman-owned business. My only disappointment is the prices. While I realize this is a higher-quality chocolate company, the prices seemed to be higher than what I've found in some supermarkets. I sort of thought the factory would offer factory-direct pricing or some sort of bonus when buying there. I guess there is one day a week you can get some rejects on a regular basis, so that's cool. I left with a couple of pieces of their excellent chocolate and was overall quite happy with the experience. That said, the company may want to consider giving people something to remember them by upon completing the tour, like an official chocolate tasting certificate or something. I highly recommend a visit, however, because the chocolate is fantastic!

Yelp
This place is definitely worth a stop in when shopping in the area, but it's even better if you take the time to book a tour and learn about the process. I love factory tours and being able to see how things are made and sample the products is a worthy outing for me. It's 10$ for the regular tour and they have non dairy items available if you ask for them. I took the opportunity to do this with my family awhile back, but most recently went back for the Haunted Factory tour. The Haunted Factory Tour is now in it's 3rd year and available for a few weekends in October (adults 12$). It's easy to book online and make a plan to meet up with a few friends. You are on a quest to solve a puzzle and go thru a few rooms. It's not too scary, but great fun if you are in the Halloween spirit. Best of all at the end you can get some treasure (chocolate) and they were nice enough to let me switch mine out for the non dairy variety. I don't eat much chocolate so no idea really how much it costs but we really got quite a bit of chocolate to take home, making the tour an extra great deal. The store was decorated very nicely and their are lots of great photo ops. I even tried to convince my partner he should get a job there.

Yelp
Awesome place! i was actually in the area checking out furniture deals but saw their eye-catching mural outside. I was super excited to see that stuck to a very familiar brand of Seattle chocolate. If youre stopping by, come on a Saturday where they have their $10 seconds available - THIS IS SUCH A GREAT DEAL! most of the pieces are just stuck to another, but they still retain their same delicious taste as the individually wrapped ones. They also have tours available - seems like a fun activity to check out one day. I know i need to come back to get more chocolates :)

Yelp
Bit of a different post here, but this is a box of chocolates I picked up from the Seattle airport on my way back. It contains an assortment, some of which I think work really well, like white chocolate cayenne orange, and others that don't, like cumin chocolate. Overall, really unique set of 10 chocolates with interesting flavors, but kind of pricey at $27/box. The service was really great though and I got a fair amount of "free" samples.

Yelp
Disclaimer: This review is based on the factory tour! :) When planning my most recent trip to Seattle, I knew I wanted to do something different since I pretty much experienced everything in Seattle. I came across the Seattle Chocolate Factory tour and knew I needed to book it! It's $10 per person and reservations are encouraged but not necessary. My boyfriend and I already LOVE Seattle Chocolate, so it was only fitting to go to the factory where the magic happens! The factory is located in Tukwila, about 20 minutes out of the city near the Seattle-Tacoma Airport. I had booked the first tour which is at 10am, right when they open. The place was super easy to find using GPS and they did have a pretty big signage that you could see from the road. Once there, although the sign said closed, we were able to go in, walk around, and check in. There were a couple of samples we tried and some photo ops to keep you occupied while you wait. Once the tour started, we first entered a room where you learn all about how chocolate is made from tree to final product. It was really cool to see exactly where they get their chocolate from. Then, it was off to the actual factory! We weren't allowed to bring anything into the factory, not even our cell phones! We were provided lockers to put all our things in. Seeing the actual process was REALLY cool! Lots of the machines are still quality controlled by actual people! WOW! Those are some hard workers! After the factory tour, we then got to taste all their top chocolates! I think that may have been my favorite part! Hehe. There are different types of chocolates offered here: truffles, which are bite size chocolates with a creamy texture, chocolate bars, which are solid chocolate bars with various toppings, and the sophisticated chocolates that pair well with wine. We then were given 10% off to buy all the chocolates our hearts desire. We ended up getting $100 worth! (WHOOPS!) All worth it though! We got all our gifts for friends and family that day! After this experience, I think that tour was worth doing if you're going to drive all the way to Tukwila. The tour was about an hour so we still had a lot of time to explore Tukwila for the rest of the day.

Yelp
I LOVE Seattle Chocolates!!! We are lucky to have quite a few good chocolatiers here in Seattle -- but these guys top the list!!! So smooth and delicious with inventive combinations that work -- sooo good!! My favorite is their Hot Buttered Rum! I can't wait for it to come out each fall season . I just took my out of town friend to the factory tour -- we had so much fun!! It's a great informative and interactive tour with deeeee-lish treats during and after the tour! Buy your bars and truffles today -- you won't be sorry!!!

Yelp
I always stop by the one in the Seattle airport. This is the best chocolate! The pink champagne and champagne ones are my favorite. They remind me of pop rocks inside chocolate. The flavors are amazing and so smooth. Perfect chocolate to indulge with wine or splurge while you're taking a bath. Other flavors worth trying: mint, Peanut Butter, Mexican Hot Chocolate, and San Juan Salt. So good.

Yelp
Friendly service. Samples upon request. Saturday bargains on yummy seconds that you can eat yourself or share with friends and nice selection of undamaged chocolates to select from for gifts. So you can indulge yourself and your special friends! Brightly colored displays are attractive and tempting! Priced higher than a big box store but you get to pick your favorites rather than a set selection. AAAAa

Yelp
We have tried several chocolates here and they are all delicious! A Go2 chocolate store whenever we have friends and family in town. The prices are a little too pricey but worth it, such great quality! They have samples in every area of the store so people can try while touring the store. The staff who work here were friendly, helpful and happy to share their story and passion. We bought a selection of chocolates...black fig pistachio, sea salt, espresso and dark chocolate truffle bar. Can't wait for the chocolate pairing event!

Yelp
My dear chocoholics: Be prepared to spend a pretty penny here. Some of the assortments are prepared and assembled by the pound, and there are options for boxed chocolate also. We were visiting Seattle for a quick getaway and picked up a whole bunch of chocolate from here as souvenirs. Our friends and family loved it! You can create your own bag and fill it with the flavors of your choosing -- there are many sorts, and that it probably what contributes to its uniqueness. You have to drive down a business park to get to it -- it's sort of hidden, but trust your GPS.

Yelp
Jayden and Dani made our first experience at Seattle Chocolate a special one. Due to unforeseen circumstances, we couldn't make it to our tour. However, they helped us resolve the issue and provided amazing samples for us to try. Thank you both very much! I would highly recommend checking out their beautiful space and will be dropping by again in the near future.

Yelp
Haunted chocolate factory FTW! Had an awesome first visit to the Seattle Chocolate factory tonight and the Haunted Chocolate Factory experience was very well done and highly entertaining. Door greeting was friendly, check in was easy. Experience was well thought out, visually and spatially compelling, acting wonderful, activities awesome, etc. And of course you do get chocolate at some point, but I don't want to ruin the surprise and say when. We came to the experience with one very grumpy member of our party and by the time we completed the tour, they were laughing and smiling. Other positives: this would be ok for little kids. They might not get the activities, but it was fun-scary rather than scary-scary. With good parent hand holding they would have a nice time. It does get quite dark so if you have folks that have a hard time seeing (e.g. grandparents) you might want to keep an eye on them so they don't get lost and then eat all the chocolates.
