My fiancé and I came to Seattle Farm to take our engagement photos and I can’t begin to express my gratitude to Lisa and her lovely family. The horses were so endearing and very friendly and their farm is so well kept and beautiful! If you are looking for a place to take pictures, Seattle Farm is the place to go to! 🤎🐎

Had a great time at their pumpkin patch party. The food and music was GREAT! It was really nice to find a working farm located inside of the city was refreshing and something you don't see anymore... I'm glad it is here!

I called today to ask about petting and taking pictures with the horses, and the lady who lives there was so sweet! She shared some cute and funny stories about her horses. I’m excited to attend in the fall and visit!

Went for a work party and this place was amazing. It is a working farm so that should be the level of expectations. They have a riding ring, a bunch of parking, and some well appointmented out buildings. They had space in an air conditioned building to setup line dancing lessons. The staff (family?) The runs the farm were all very pleasant amd glad to share information.

The annual Pumpkin Harvest in October is a must visit! We loved the pony rides and being able to pick out our own pumpkin from the field. Will be returning next year!

One of the most incredible pieces of property in Seattle. We just completed hosting our company annual retreat at the Seattle Farm. The venue and the staff are the absolute best. We are planning on returning again next year.

Yelp
I'll admit I was skeptical when I first heard there was an actual farm in Seattle. Land here is scarce and expensive. But lo and behold - there really is one! Seattle Farm is a privately owned 20-acre property, and I'm pretty sure it's the only farm within city limits. The place is beautifully maintained and feels like a hidden gem. No cows or chickens, but there are plenty of horses. We came during pumpkin season and paid $25, which covered both parking and admission. Big parking lot, easy access. At the barn you'll find several horses, and feeding them hay was a hit for both kids and adults. The darker horse was especially affectionate - kept rubbing its head against us, super sweet. You can also pay extra for horse/pony rides; they are all calm, well-trained, and come in various sizes. There's a food area with picnic tables where you can grab hotdogs and drinks. The pumpkin selection isn't as large as farms farther out, but still enough. It's great to see a place like this still operating in the city, and it's definitely worth supporting to help keep it going. I think they also host private events like birthday parties and weddings, and offer dedicated horseback-riding lessons - you'll need to call for details. Awesome family-friendly spot. We'll definitely be back next year!

Yelp
Not only is this the BEST farm in Seattle, I'm pretty sure it's the ONLY farm. I have been taking kids here for over two years now, for riding lessons. What I thought would just be pure horseback riding lessons has turned into something so unimaginable. The kids have learned so much responsibility and independence here. They have the chance to work with and play with animals from goats and pigs, to horses and chicks. They are completely free to be kids here. The environment is so safe and relaxing where no one feels like they are under any time constraint or pressure to do anything, yet everyone knows what is expected of them. I have never seen any horse or other animal (or human for that matter), in any danger. Lisa and her whole family give this place such a family feel and although it seems to be growing quickly, I don't see that family feel going anywhere. We love it and will continue going here to play and be free until the end of time!
