Best fried okra anywhere! Sometimes I come in and just order the okra to go. Today I ordered the okra platter $16.95 with fried oysters and coleslaw. So much okra I couldn’t even eat it all! Today it was over salted but I was in a hurry so I didn’t time for a redo. Their food truck is awesome too!

We were in town for a sports tournament and was looking for a good place to get seafood. We found this place based on Yelp reviews. When we walked in, we weren't sure what to expect. It is largely a seafood market. And the smell of fresh seafood was a bit overpowering ...so be ready! But at the same time, we had a feeling the food was going to be very good. After taking some time to browse the menu, we ordered a few different items, including one of the dishes on the specials board. The young man who took our order worked with us to ensure my son's food would be gluten free. We opted to wait in the car while we waited for our food. There are a couple of tables inside if you prefer that instead. There was a steady stream of people coming in, which was a good sign. It was a decent wait, but it was worth it! Everything we ordered was delicious and well seasoned. And the portion sizes were very generous. We had plenty to eat and leftovers to spare. I have already been telling others about this place. We will definitely plan to return the next time we are in the area.

I ordered the blackened flounder and it is so tiny. I am sitting in the shop right now and I am just shocked. I am typing this review as I am eating it and it is also insanely spicy (I promise I am not a wimp, I eat my boyfriend's spicy traditional Chinese food on the daily and even that is not this spicy). They could've at least disclosed that it's gonna be spicy but they didn't.

This place is AMAZING! Everything is so fresh, and it has such a fisherman’s charm to it (not in a theme type way but you feel the lively vibe of a local company providing quality seafood to their community!). The food was incredible. We had shrimp, salmon, farro with roasted veggies and pesto, crabs, fish tacos, fried okra, peel and eat shrimp. It was amazing. I wished I could’ve eaten more but I was so full! The portion sizes are also super generous. Can’t wait to go back!

I got a perfectly steamed plate. It wasn't an anomaly, because all 6 plates our family got were perfect. All the employees were very helpful too.

This was our first time in and the atmosphere and environment were great! Connor helped us and answered all of our questions and was VERY helpful (give Connor a raise!!) This store had a wide variety of FRESH seafood and fish. Will DEFINITELY be returning! Thank you again Connor!

We are originally from Maryland... home of the Blue Crab from Chesapeake Bay. We were thrilled to purchase crabs from a reputable seafood market. Memorial Day, our crabs were AMAZING! But after bragging to our family that visited NC on the 4th, we were disappointed, as were they. There was no weight to these crabs or much flavor, this go-round. Next time I'll drive to Eagle Island and I'll steam them myself. Seafood is too pricey to be a waste.

Food and service from the kitchen are excellent. The only complaint I have is the fish market and the kitchen/deli share the same space. It doesn't bother me, but the smell bothers others in my family.
