My partner and I booked a date for our 3 year anniversary at the restaurant. Small but charming restaurant in the heart of Mont-Tremblant. We we're greated inside and seated almost immediately. We opted for the 7 service degustation menu. Dishes were creative and innovative. Each one of them paired with fresh ingredients and outgoing flavours. Our waiter and manager were both friendly professional and responsive to our needs. They frequently asked for feedback our opinion on our experience. We highly recommend.

Expensive splurge worth the service and the food. I was surprised to see that this restaurant was listed in the Michelin guide (but has no stars... yet). Everyone here is super friendly and attentive. We figured that we had to do the 7-course, and we were warned it would be about three hours. Going into it knowing this was good... I think other reviewers were off-put like the 7-course was being discouraged. The restaurant itself is pretty dimly lit but not too dark, and the noise level is moderate and sometimes you can't hear people at a normal volume, which kind of stinks. But we're here to figure out how the food is, right? Summarized, $150 CAD is not bad for a filling and adventurous 7-course splurge prepared by a team dedicated to their craft. Apologies that I can't remember exactly what was what, because it was hard to hear in the restaurant and also my memory sucks. - First course was literally a single tortellini. I almost laughed at the idea of being served just ONE of them, and imagining a chef trying to dress a SINGLE one. It was actually not my most favorite of all seven courses, but if you gave me a plate of these, it would be very, very good. I don't remember exactly what it was but it was like braised rib meat with mushroom. Mostly savory with no real contrast. - Second course was a nice Asian-inspired fusion of flavors with a tempura buried in strands of a veg. Nice combination of cohesive flavors and texture. - Third course was a super-small piece of foie gras, surrounded by a similarly-sized apricot and some greens on top of a paste and drizzled with a champagne reduction. Lots of flavors here and what looks like the first of the rest of the courses with what looked and tasted like Brussel sprout leaves. - Fourth course was a piece of stingray. Never had stingray before, and the sauce it came with was slightly salty and savory, which was nice. - Fifth course was two lambchops and probably the largest amount of food for any of the courses. More Brussel sprout greens on top of a turnip mash, if I remember right. This was nice, meaty, and delish. Weirdly enough, it also had a touch of leek ash... literal ash. Not really sure why other than for presentation. - Sixth course was an aerated cheese foam with honey, nuts, all sitting on croutons. This was weirdly one of my favorites, as it was such a simple dish where you could enjoy all of the flavors distinctively, not to mention enjoy a foamed cheese from Quebec. - Lastly, the seventh course was a sort of torte with a crispy leaf pastry thing sitting on top of slivers of pear and what was kind of like a pear "applesauce" with a divot to hold a pistachio filling. This was also one of my favorites as everything was different from each other, flavor-wise. Very nice. - We also got some little pistachio "muffins" with a coffee-like cream on top as a bonus. Not bad, but not amazing. There is also a VAST wine selection, ranging from $15 glasses to $6500 bottles. I feel bad that I'm not a wine sommelier to be able to appreciate all of the expressions and vintages. This may seem like I'm being picky, but I'm doing that on purpose considering you would be paying $150 for food you may or may not enjoy. I still highly recommend the multi-course meals at least once to experience them. They also charge $11 CAD for sparkling or flat water. Definitely would come again!

I'm fine with paying over $300 for dinner for my wife and I, but I expect perfection in return. I got both here. The food was just terrific start to finish and service was very cordial, and inviting. I was especially blown away but my Vitello Tonnato app (a rarity on any menu). I'd return and have 3 or 4 of those as my meal, it was *that* good. The amuse-bouche was soooo good too as were my wife's rabbit app, filet mignon, and my seafood soffocato. The "low" point would have been the cheese course we shared. It was a-typical in its choice and presentation and, frankly, did not match the previous levels. All in all, we can't wait for a return visit!

Go for the multi-course tasting and wine pairing, you will be glad you did. They offer you options - 4 or 7 courses, and a choice between certain dishes. I went with the 4-course option with pairings and got a choice for the main dish - cod or duck. I went with duck and it was divine. Their wine menu is extensive and high-end, as you can see from my photos. For the 4-course dinner, I spent 3 relaxed hours; I do recommend coming earlier so you enjoy an extended service.

This experience was amazing … we had the 7 course tasting menu… be ready for a culinary adventure… the food was some of the best I’ve ever had and I’ve enjoyed many a Michelin star restaurant… it was amazing. The chef pushes the envelope… but in an good way

Every course of the 4 course tasting menu was highly enjoyable! So were a couple of the wines paired. Choice of main was stingray or duck breast. It was a treat & my first time having stingray outside of southeast Asia! Would definitely return.

These are from the 4 course prefix dinner. Amazing flavors and everything really fresh. Started with tomato soup, some focaccia then a salad with fresh herbs. My cocktail was the Havana something. I had the duck in a delicious flavorful sauce and husband had the fish with carrot risotto which was outstanding. Dessert was very light and satisfying. And a bonus tiny chocolate cake that was a perfect sweet ending. Staff were all very knowledgeable and friendly. Parking on the side. We were there 1 1/2 hours for a casual dining experience.

Amazing restaurant with an incredible atmosphere. Our waitress, Lydia, was a joy and so helpful when we had questions about the food. My boyfriend and I had the four course experience and man was it an experience! We left so full and happy. 10/10 to this restaurant and the wait staff!

Great food and great service. Probably the best up in the Tremblant region. A must visit.

The food was out of this world. I loved every bite, except the bitterness in the parting bite but by that point, who cares?

I have never been thinking it would be a tourist trap but it's not. It's an upscale restaurant with quality food, ingredients and service. I had the 4 course meal which consisted of a gazpacho, smoked sturgeon, duck breast with wild mushrooms and a strawberry pastry with whipped cream as dessert. There is a good wine list. My husband had the octopus salad and the cod on a bed of radish purée and mushrooms. They made a tomato sauce tagliatelle for the kids. It was the best pasta they have had in a restaurant's kids menu. Glad we finally tried this gem of a place and it is changing my view of most Tremblant area restaurants as being tourist traps. On the expensive side but totally worth it.

If you're looking for an unforgettable dining experience, look no further than SEB restaurant in Mont-Tremblant Quebec. The modern French cuisine is absolutely exquisite, and the service is top-notch. We started our meal with the foie gras pate, and it was absolutely divine. The pate was smooth and rich, and the accompanying fruit and bread added the perfect balance of sweetness and texture. Next, we had the roasted lamb with vegetables. The lamb was cooked to perfection and was so tender and juicy. The vegetables were also cooked perfectly and added a nice contrast in flavor and texture. For our main course, we had the filet mignon with truffle mashed potatoes and green beans. The filet mignon was cooked perfectly and was so tender and flavorful. The truffle mashed potatoes were out-of-this-world good, and the green beans were the perfect side dish. Last but not least, we had the chocolate mousse for dessert. The chocolate mousse was rich and creamy, and it was the perfect way to end our meal. Overall, our dining experience at SEB restaurant was absolutely amazing. The food was incredible, and the service was outstanding. If you're looking for a fine dining experience, SEB restaurant is the place to go.

One of the best meals I have ever had. Service was wonderful, very relaxed atmosphere. Would highly recommend checking this restaurant out if in the Tremblant/St Jovite area.

Fine dining in a relaxed and great service. If you are in the area this place is a excellent. Everything was delicious. I was hesitant to go, only because of the $$$$. But if I compare it with a less expensive resto in the area, it was well worth the price. Dinner for 2 with 2 appetizers, 2 main course and 2 glasses of wine was 150$. The night before we paid 100$ and we weren't happy with it So remember, it's not always about 'how much' as it is more about 'value' Sadly no dessert, we were stuffed.

What a cute place!! The ambiance is super romantic and chill, but fancy enough for a special date night. We got the four course tasting menu with the wine pairing, which we thought was a fair price ($110 CAD per person) and we also got oysters. Every single course was delicious. Definitely get the bison- it was so so soft and melted in my mouth. The octopus salad was also incredible- such a great combination of flavors. And all the wines paired very nicely with the courses. Our waiter was great too- he was very attentive and very nice.

Our last night in town and decided to try this place based on yelp review We ordered the 4 course meal First course was a fried fish ball - crispy on the outside and creamy inside Second course - sliced scallops with some kind of crispy wild rice. Very refreshing Third course - I had the red snapper and my hubby had the lamb shank. Both were wonderful Dessert was cream puff with maple ice cream - let's just say I didn't know dessert can be so good and satisfying without chocolate. Our 5 yr old loves the fried fish ball. He was not too crazy for the chicken dish , seems a bit dry to him.

My Husband and I were in Tremblant for a few days. We always pick a few special restaurants to dine at. Seb L'Artisan Culinaire did NOT disappoint. The ambiance is intimate and quaint. The wine list is superb and the food was fantastic. Lydia, was extremely accommodating and we enjoyed learning about the chef Sebastian. So happy we had the chance to experience dining here and we look forward to returning next time we are here.

I came here three years ago and they gave me more foie gras. Now it is half the piece and probably more expensive. The food is meh. I really would not go there again.

Our second visit but it had been a long time since the first. Happily the restaurant is as good as it was then, and maybe even better. Service was charming and we were welcomed like friends. M wife and I opted for the table d'hote, which is 4 courses including dessert. We started with an amuse-bouche which was a paella croquette. I liked this more than she, which was purely a matter of personal taste. She's not crazy about paella, but the croquettes were beautifully prepared and executed. Our first course was an amazing ceviche of red snapper and tilapia using grapefruit as the citrus, cucumber, red onion, and cilantro. Superb! It tasted of summer and I could eat this all the time. For my main, I chose to stay with fish and got the red snapper. It was served with a variety of local mushrooms, mussels, and bok choy. This too was perfect. The seasoning, the flavors, all delicious. She got the duck breast, which was another exquisite plate. Not only is the food gorgeously presented, it tastes as good as it looks, and portions are significantly more generous than you would find at comparable restaurants in the States. Dessert was madeleines, homemade honey ice cream and meringue. Bee pollen was sprinkled liberally around the plates for an added texture and flavor. Excellent! Seb's has an impressive selection of wines, and other spirits. If you're in the area, make a reservation and have great meal by one of Quebec's top chefs. We look forward to going back on our next visit to the area.

This was the dining highlight of our week in Canada. I don't know how we stumbled across SEb, but am glad that we decided to book a table for our last night in Mont Tremblant. I'm not usually one for tasting menus, being a pescatarian and all around picky eater. I did appreciate that they not only offered two tasting menus, a 4 and 7 course (each with the option of wine pairings), and that they didn't require the whole table to opt into the tasting menu. I caved to peer pressure and opted in for the tasting menu despite being someone who likes to know exactly what they are ordering; our server had me convinced they would cater to our dietary restrictions and food allergies. I was not disappointed. We started out with champagne and our first course, an oyster duo. One was served cold and one served hot; oysters are not something I typically order, I don't dislike them, but they're not my favorite. These were quite good, my favorite of the two being the hot one. In between this and the next course, we dined on homemade foacaccia. The next course was a seared tuna dish, which was also excellent. This was followed by a pate course; I haven't eaten meat in decades and skeptical about a chickpea-based vegetarian pate. It was very good and my boyfriend thought it tasted very pate like. The next course was the first where my meal varied completely from the group; I got a risotto, which I thoroughly enjoyed. For our fifth course, I got the sea bream, which was excellent. After that, we got a cheese course, which was a semi-hard local cheese, which we loved. Our last course was a gluten free chocolate cake with chantilly and caramel corn; which was a sinfully rich way to cap off our meal. I don't recall all of the wines that were paired with our courses, but I enjoyed each one. Our waiter, who was most likely also the sommelier, was very knowledgeable about our wines and very attentive to our table. Our meal at SEb was the dining highlight of our trip. I definitely recommend it for a splurge meal. The space is cozy and lets you experience find dining in a casual environment.

It was a lovely meal. We decided to do the 4-course tasting menu and that was a perfect idea. The amuse bouche dumpling we had at the start I wish I could have ordered an entire plate of them. Wow. The scallops served sashimi style were delicate and lovely and perfectly paired with a citrus vinaigrette. And I loved my veal shank.That was amazing! And dessert was also good, but nothing that wowed us compared to other dishes. The price was so worth it though.The only part that was a little disappointing was that our server to me was a little unfriendly and was not as friendly to us as he was with some other tables around us. Maybe my boyfriend and I didn't "fit the look" of your typical diner, but to treat us any differently when we like fine dining and excellent wine just as much as the people next to us was a little sad. I would have given this 5 stars but the server didn't give us 5 stars. I hope this was an outlier and not something that others experience. But I would come back because the food was so good and they were so accommodating with us as we had to change our reservation a couple times and made sure we had a table. Thank you!

This place is pretty good, but it wasn't as superb as I read in all the reviews. The highlight of the meal was the gaspacho (the amuse bouche), followed by the homemade bread. I also had the Cheetos Mac n cheese, which was good, but not gourmet. The steak was pretty good too. I think I was expecting this place to be so incredible, that I was a little disappointed when it did not meet my lofty expectations. I will say that the service was incredible. I rarely have so many people ask how our meal is and serve us. Very good service! The setting is very cute too, as it's in an old house. Apparently, they've been featured in the New York Times, and were a Trip Advisor winner for two years in a row (2013 and 2014).

High quality meal at reasonable prices. Let's be clear it's not inexpensive , but it's also a high end dining experience. Had the lamb shank and the meat was just falling of the bone.

This restaurant was recommended to us by a local. The ambience is cozy and inviting. We got the 4 course meal with the wine pairing for the experience. The wine alone was incredible. The first two courses were small servings but delicious and very thoughtful, one recipe was the owner's grandmother's recipe. Most of us got the duck as our main entree and thought it was perfect. One person got the flounder and was not quite as pleased but we did not feel it was anything to lose a star over. The service was excellent. The staff were extremely kind and professional. You certainly pay for the entire experience but it was well worth it and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to get a great French cuisine experience.

Overall a pretty good French restaurant in Mont Tremblant, most dishes were very good ( still not as good as the good restaurants in Paris, French) but pretty good in Canada. We ordered appetizer of sweetbread and Acadian Smoked Sturgeon, bison and venison for main, my grandma's crepe for dessert. We also ordered 4 courses tasting menu. The duck stew from tasting menu was too salty, the crepe is fried more like American food. The venison, duck breast, bison and sturgeon was excellent. The sweetbread is a bit less than I expected in comparison to these I had in Paris, French. The service was excellent. So overall it is a four star restaurant.

So delicious! We thoroughly enjoyed everything. We had the sturgeon, rabbit, bison entree and the beef fillet entree w the added foie gras. Kids shared the venison with bow tie pasta. Oh, we also got oysters to start! Those were good but wish they had the classic cocktail sauce. The sauce they provided was tasty and light with caviar in it but I'm a stickler for reg cocktail sauce. For dessert, we got the choc cake. I'm not big on sweets but my fam said it was delicious - like a brownie with bitter choc ice cream.

Saturday night - very busy place but very accommodating Good food maybe not the same quality as during the weekdays It is recommended again and again

We followed the 5-star rating to this French restaurant during our ski trip over Christmas. The ambience was warm and food was delicious. We ordered one 4-course prix fix dinner, 1 appetizer and 2 entries to share among three of us. The rabbit tempura has a crispy skin and tender juicy meat. The cabbage is flavored with ponzu sauce among other seasonings making it taste like a coleslaw with a Japanese twist; The venison is so incredibly tender and I enjoyed the playful mixture of grapes, cauliflower and truffle oil. I can not taste much of the truffle but still appreciated the thoughtfulness; The pheasant is so flavorful which is accentuated by a variety of wild mushrooms--we added this course after experiencing a burst of flavors and realized we did not order enough. The 45min extra wait made us think they have to kill a bird to make this dish, but the wait was worthwhile and the waiter was every bit attentive and courteous. In summary, every dish is cooked with a lot of attention to details. Ingredients are fresh, the vegetables are very flavorful and meats are very tender good cuts. There is an Asian fusion style to the French cooking, the sauces are not loaded with butter or cheese but rather flavored with various seasoning and fruits and vegetables making the food flavorful yet light and healthy. Will come back next year!

Great place!! Our waitress was extremely nice explaining all the options for the menu, we decided to go for the 4 course tasting menu with wine pairing, it was simply delicious, the food and the wine. Definitely it is a place you don't want to miss. Nice and cozy place, a place where you can have a nice talking as well.

I have eaten everywhere in the Tremblant area as I host a lot of friends and family for special events. I have tried all the other highly rated, 5 star establishments, but I always come back to Seb as my go to restaurant when I want a perfect experience. Whether it's for a romantic evening, a table of 4 with friends, or a table of 10 for a party, the staff at Seb gets it right. The table d'hote is always spot on and very reasonable for what you get. The wine list is excellent with a budget for every type. On Friday, we both had the table d'hote with an amuse buche of steak tartar, chanterelle mushroom appetizers, an amazing halibut fish, and for dessert an amazing chocolate/banana/caramel dessert. And a nice bottle of rose for under $40. Top off with excellent service and a very attentative kitchen staff, we had a great time. If you are visiting the region, Seb should be on your list. If you live here, it's a privilege you have such a fine establishment in the community.

Our family has dined here on three occasions. We dine frequently at restaurants in New Orleans, New York, and Paris. I would stack the food of this restaurant next to the quality of any of the finest in the aforementioned cities. On each and every occasion food quality, taste, and service have been excellent. Great wine menu. Thanks for a great dining experience in 2016!!

Excellent quality, selection and a must stop for foodies visiting the area. Interesting selections and try something different not your usual choices.

Cozy environment. Very kind and helpful service from waitress. The meals we ordered were an explosion of a multitude of flavours! Definitely a French culinary experience. Very pricy.

Came here for a lovely French Canadian dinner. First I would like to say our waiter Jonathan was outstanding. My boyfriend had the 4 course tasting menu and I had the 7 but we shared everything. My boyfriend was in love with his qual appetizer and to me the foie gras was the standout of the courses. The cheese course and dessert were delicious as well. Jonathan suggested lovely wine pairings that complimented the food perfectly. Overall a very enjoyable experience to get away from the loud village.

Excellent meal in a cozy ambiance with great service, but let's put this in context. It might not be 5 stars in the context of Thomas Keller, but it is in the context of an out of the way Québécois village. The venison was top notch, not at all gamy and sourced locally. The pheasant stuffed with foie gras and the crispy rabbit appetizer was also very good. The tenderloin of beef with foie gras was good but I think the venison was better. Dessert menu looked good but we didn't partake due to caloric considerations. They threw in a delicious amuse bouche and a small sweet cookie which was appreciated!

Memorable meal. Everything, from the online reservation to the phone call adding 7 more people to our group to the service was seamless and professional. This is not the place to go if you want a quick meal or to bring young children or for unadventurous eaters. Our group of 12 had a very attractive table and tried almost everything. Highly recommend the Cheetos mac-n-cheese, crispy rabbit, Canadian short ribs, seafood risotto, veal cheeks and leg of lamb. Desserts also satisfied: maple syrup crepes, banana chocolate flan, honeydew merengue and madeleines. The meal was leisurely and expensive but well worth it.

Remarkable meal sourced with many local products merging classic French Quebec with modern sensibility. Deer baby back ribs, quail, and piglet cutlet were wonderful. Seafood stew fabulous (albeit of course, shipped in). Higly recommend

A genuine fine dining experience without the pretense or exorbitant price, Everything about the evening at sEb was terrific. The service friendly, attentive without hovering, and knowledgeable about both the food and the specific wines on the list. We each opted for the 4 course tasting menu, which includes what is called an amuse bouche, but was actually more substantial than a typical, single bite amuse. Our amouse bouche a small dish of gazspacho, about a half cup. So it was almost a full course. If it was not named an amuse bouche, I don't think the others who have complained would have done so. There are plenty of excellent suggestions on the wine list, with plenty of very reasonably priced options. Because the wine was served properly, not overfilling our glasses, we enjoyed an almost 2 hour dinner with plenty of wine throughout without being pushed to order more. We will most definitely return to sEb upon our next visit to Tremblant

Fantastic meal. Excellent wine selection, beautifully crafted salmon tar tar appetizer, and by far the best venison I've ever had served with an excellent purée. Kind and friendly staff. Best restaurant I ate at during my week stay in MT.

We had them cater our small wedding at a private house this summer. The servers were incredible and it was well organized. The food was delicious, in particular the appetizers were delightful. I also never thought I would say this, but we ordered a cheese course and I have to say there was too much cheese- we ate maybe half of the cheese served. I would recommend them without hesitation.

SEb was a great restaurant with really tasty food! They were able to accommodate​ my family of 6 perfectly with a wide variety of foods on a small menu. They have a variety of foods on their menu, from large game to seafood, as well as a 4-course or 7-course​ tasting option. It is to be mentioned that only a few tables were being used on the Sunday night we were there, but based on the experience we had, we felt like our courses were not too far or too quickly distant from each other and that would not dramatically change based on the capacity of the restaurant. We decided to order a side salad that is not on the menu normally and the lettuce tasted like it was gritty and not washed properly. This is the only reason we did not rate it a five. Besides the salad, everything was cooked just right and in really easy to eat portions. For dessert, we had 3 orders of the maple crepes (we had faith in these crepes!), and they were so good! Definitely,​​ suggest ordering!

I am sad to see only two reviews for this place because it is one of the best dining experiences my wife and I have ever had. We visited Mont-Tremblant between seasons about a year ago and the hotel recommended this place. My wife and I arrived to an almost empty place, but like I said it was between seasons and late. The ambiance inside is really warm and inviting and the food is amazing from presentation to taste. Our server was down to earth and was as excited about the food as were. All the ingredients are seasonal and the chef does a great job in bringing them together. If you are around this area, I highly recommend you stop in as you will not be disappointed.

We have traveled a lot and the food at Seb is one of the best culinary experience we have ever had. The wine was excellent and the food was outstanding.

This was SUCH a great choice for our first anniversary celebration dinner. We were up in Mont Tremblant for the Ironman and wanted a romantic dinner the Monday after. This restaurant was ranked 10th best restaurant on trip advisor- it was excellent. Everything from the oysters (not listed on the menu) to the homemade rosemary focaccia bread to a quail appetizer (not listed on the menu but recommended by our waiter) to the park belly appetizer (Which was absolutely incredible) to the VENISON (my husband LOVED this, it was delicious) to the fish du jour (which was a halibut and was perfectly cooked with such a great selection of vegetables)- everything was delicious and perfectly cooked. The waiters and staff were extremely helpful with menu recommendations and guiding us through a beautiful and delicious meal. The restaurant setting was perfect for a nice dinner, it was cozy, romantic and low lit. It was an excellent meal. We would STRONGLY recommend. After a bottle of wine and all the above mentioned foods, with tip, we ended at $234 Canadian dollars. It would be possible to eat here though for much cheaper- this is a great dinner option for all types.
