"Sebastiano’s makes Sicilian-style marmalade with four simple ingredients: California citrus, orange juice, lemon juice, and cane sugar. Winter is citrus season and the perfect time to brighten up a gloomy morning with a healthy slather of tangy marmellata on toast. Enjoy a la Paddington Bear, or in more inventive ways, such as stirred into a breakfast martini or as a glaze on grilled meats. The box is printed with an attractive pattern inspired by Sicilian tile that makes it easy to forgo wrapping — just slap a bow on top and gift away." - Janey Wong

HB HIDDEN GEM! Food here is exceptional The flavors is just a delightful party in each bite. The presentation is beautiful. 5-star service with a quaint cozy relaxing classy ambience. Cheers to all of you! ABSOLUTELY recommend Sebastiani's

My sister-in-law did catering here for her wedding and it was delicious! Everyone loved it. This was my first time having the food and my favorite things were the empanadas, chicken pesto pasta, and meat raviolis!

Sebastianis, nestled in a strip mall, offers a nostalgic neighborhood vibe with two sides: a bar area featuring live music and a dining area with tables. The live music initially had me wondering if I’d stumbled into a karaoke night. The décor is an eclectic mix of Italian-themed artwork, adding a quirky charm. The friendly staff contributes to a welcoming atmosphere. However, the wine bar aspect is a bit underwhelming, with a limited selection and a well-worn menu. The 15-inch kitchen-style tiles on the floor were more detracting than enhancing, giving the space a somewhat dated feel. The starter bread was basic but paired nicely with a tasty pesto dip. The caprese salad was fresh, though it felt like something I could easily make at home. The eggplant parmigiana was flavorful but a bit too soft for my liking. My wife enjoyed the chicken Florentine, which featured moist chicken, though the pasta was a bit too wet. The portions were generous. Sebastianis excels in providing a solid, home-style Italian dining experience without aiming for high-end sophistication. Note that a 3% surcharge applies to credit card payments. Overall, it’s a cozy spot that delivers on its promise of being a friendly, local Italian eatery.

Google
This place is as noisy as a fish market. Their acoustic is horrible and there is no way to have a conversation while there. They set my friend and I at a minuscule table like 3’x3’ even though there were 3 other tables available. When I asked to move, the owner said those tables were for 4 people. Then 10 minutes later 2 people set at 2 of the tables. The 3rd table remained empty almost till we left. Very bad customer service and business mentality. Owner should be ashamed. And probably was embarrassed because I brought it up to the nice waiter and with my bill came a piece of lousy tiramisu (mostly whipped cream and hardly anything else) as apology that I took home and tossed. The food can be ok if you order the right thing. The veal was bad too. Not going back there.

I was able to bring in my group of 23 diners during the middle of the week to enjoy dinner thanks to the owner Phil. Ally was our excellent server. Everyone enjoyed their outstanding meals throughout the evening. I would highly recommend Sebastiani's to anyone that loves Italian food. You cannot go wrong. Make your reservations today.

Google
They have a small dining room and a separate bar area as big as the dining room next to it. Service was friendly and easygoing, prices are reasonable. The menu is quite varied, our food was okay. Planning to give the pizza a try soon and will update after that.

Google
This cozy little bistro is a hidden gem in Huntington Beach. From Phil and Carol, owners, who are so warm and inviting to the amazing food they serve and their wonderful staff- it’s the place to go- especially Friday and Saturdays when they offer live entertainment. Love this place!

Google
Great service, good food, lovely entertainment. But I'm not a fan of high bar seats in the wine room, so uncomfortable. Next time, I'll sit in the main dining room.

Timothy L.

Yelp
Highly recommend making reservations. Staff was friendly and food was tasty. Had the Rigatoni di Lauren. Ample parking lot shared with other businesses. Single bathroom in the back of the adjoining room

Yelp
WHAT IS GOING ON AT SEBASTIANI'S?! What used to be a consistently good family restaurant has taken a quality turn for the worse. Has a supplier changed? Owner trying to save money? We have been going to Sebastiani's for several years and noticed a change in quality last November. It started with discontinuing their, once amazing, pizza crust. Then, it went to no longer being able to order a true Aperol Spritz from the bar. Now it is a sugary pre-bottled version that is terrible! The last time I ordered their chicken lasagna, one of my favs, the chicken was fatty and had skin still attached to meat. Tonight, I ordered the chicken parm and it was rubbery and was more breading than meat :( Plus...they were out of their famous "Ball Buster" wine!! The restaurant is nowhere as busy as it used to be...could this be the reason why? Even the staff mentioned how slow business has been. Thank goodness for the staff...they are always exceptional. We are gonna try it one more time, hoping whatever is going on is just temporary. Let's hope the owners see this and make some changes sooner than later...I miss whatever they were doing 6 months ago!

Yelp
We came here for a work function and really enjoyed the food and staff. My Nona is the queen of risotto and Sebastiani's might be the KING. I had the Short Rib Risotto alla Chianti: Italian Arborio rice mixed with oven-braised beef short rib cooked in Chianti wine. Don't tell my Nona, this was the BEST risotto I've ever had. $26.95. We had a plethora of appetizers, and everything hit the spot. If you live in the area, you will want to check this spot out for Italian.

Natalie M.

Yelp
They have amazing food, wine, and service. They also have live music and provide a wonderful dinner experience.

Rick B.

Yelp
First time here and the food, drinks and service is amazing. Great atmosphere. Will definitely come back again.

Mindi S.

Yelp
Really great service! Average food. We ordered calamari, fried ravioli, and salmon. The drinks were nice and cold but the food was pretty bland. Servers were super nice and the place was busy. This is obviously a locals joint and has regular customers but I think we may have hit it on a bad night. Parking is easy as it is in a strip mall. Make reservations if you're going on a weekend. I feel like a bit more seasoning could be used, but I'm no expert at cooking.

Simon K.

Yelp
Decent Italian food. The complimentary bread with creamy pesto dip was great. The meatballs are too dense. The Veal Picatta was pretty good. The Braciola Napolitana was not that good. It's a paper thin steak wrapped around an oblong meatball which was dense and dry. The Rigatoni Di Lauren with the spicy pink sauce was the star of the show. The Fettuccini Sebastiani (like Alfredo) was good.

Joanne B.

Yelp
Had not been here in a while, but wanted to give it another try as it had always been great. Arrived early about 515. Most of the tables in the dining room were already taken or reserved, so we chose a seat in the wine bar. No one came to greet us for 15 minutes, we had to go and flag them down. Ordered wine then food. Wine selection is still great, which is a plus Musician was playing so that was nice. A man came in with his young daughter, apparently to get takeout, and proceeded to let her run around under the tables back behind the bar, really loud and chatting with one of the tables. The poor musician was drowned out by this. The man finally left with his daughter, so it calmed down in there. We just had appetizers, empanadas and meatballs, and they were very good. Then we couldn't get our check and had to flag someone down again. They appeared to be very short staffed so hopefully that can be remedied so the service is better, especially with the holidays coming up. Certainly not what we've been used to in the past coming here, but hopefully it was just an off day.

Ky N.

Yelp
Came here with family on a Saturday night without reservations. It was a full house but we were able to get seated within 15 minutes. We just felt really out of place here and the service was just incredibly awkward. She messed up on our order but was nice enough to comp a few items. I wouldn't say their food is amazing if I'm being honest. It's decent in my opinion.

Chris L.

Yelp
It's been a minute since I've been here. But holy tasty. The bruschetta as among the best I've had. You'd think tomatoes, onions, basil, garlic, olive oil, is easy, but it's not. This place balances these extremely well. The little toasts work very well too. Now, the pizza. This is straight up Sicily. It's not thin and it's not thick. It's crisp, fluffy n light. It's like my neighbor granny lady in Cicero made for me growing up. I did sausage and tomato. 100% recommend.

Yelp
We have been coming to Sebastiani's for about 10 years and love it, and especially love Robin as our waitress. Last night we came at 5:20 for dinner. No one else was there yet. There were 2 young waitresses talking & laughing. We ordered & asked them to turn on music. The ambience was more like a laundromat than fine dining. They said the speakers were broken. So giggles & laughs were the sounds. In short, the evening was a bust. Food so-so My chicken Florentine needed more spinach Mr owner, help fix this We heard Robin doesn't work weekends now. Guess we'll only come on week days Hope the music comes back & the feeling we are being treated special comes again.

Charlotte R.

Yelp
Came here for the first time on Friday night. Made 7:30pm reservations via Open Table but when I got there, the hostess, who seemed a little befuddled as it was, had no reservation under my name and when I told her I'd made it via Open Table, she seemed to have never heard of Open Table? Umm....I had the confirmation. Either way, she was nice enough about it and pulled the last two tables they had together for us. But the waitress we had, had a real chip on her shoulder. We waited aa long time to get a menu's and then she just kind of threw them at us. When she came back to see if we wanted wine, and we declined, she was really sour about it. The food itself though, was very good. The pesto dip they give you with the complimentary bread was delish and the shredded chicken lasagna was VERY good. We asked the waitress if we could have more bread and she said "Sure!" but it never came and when she dropped the bill off a good deal later, she made no mention of it. So - will we be back? Hmmm....honestly not sure. The food was very good but the staff really left a bad taste in our mouth. Time will tell.

Caroline M.

Yelp
Excellent! We were a group of 7. Everything ordered was delicious. It's a small restaurant and our server was working her butt off but we never felt ignored. There was live music and it was calming and enjoyable. It was our first time here so we received a discount through Yelp. As I said st the beginning excellent!

missy h.

Yelp
Food was so good, especially the Tiramisu! Stephanie was an incredible waitress. We would go back just to sit in her section because she was so pleasant! Thanks Stephanie!

Karen K.

Yelp
We had dinner there last night on a spur of the moment . Robin was so accommodating and friendly, the food was some of the best we have had and the location is very friendly and is easy to find. The best thing was that they allowed us to brush g in a birthday and then cut it up and served it for us we will definitely go back there.

Margaret I.

Yelp
Unbelievably great dinner, 4 people 3 different entrees, and they were all very good and great desserts, great service no complaints

Chelsea V.

Yelp
Cozy restaurant with absolutely delicious and comforting Italian food. Any dish is a delight, from the pastas to the chicken & fish, and their specials. We love the vodka sauce on the pasta & the chicken marsala. They also have live music quite often! Such a fun addition, and wonderful place to go.

Jasmine A.

Yelp
To start off, the culinary experience was truly exceptional! While I typically steer clear of lasagna, my boyfriend's order proved irresistible! The chicken piccata I chose was remarkably juicy, accompanied by a delightful medley of vegetables and potatoes. The toasted ravioli, with its satisfying crunch and melted cheese, was an absolute highlight. For dessert, I highly recommend the indulgent chocolate cake. The ambiance was charming, and our waitress provided excellent service. However, the karaoke night made it quite loud in the open space, with the cacophony of conversations and kitchen noises. A minor suggestion would be to address the absence of a sign or hostess stand upon entry, perhaps adding a "Please wait to be seated" sign. Additionally, considering the chilly temperature, a heater could enhance the overall comfort. Despite these considerations, the exceptional food alone makes it a place worth revisiting!

Cindy O.

Yelp
Nice local Italian Restaurant. Excellent service and the food was very tasty. Our server recommended appetizers and specials. Food potions very generous and prices were reasonable. Ample parking in a large lot. We shared fried raviolis for appetizer. I had the Spaghetti with Bolognese while my husband had the special Filet Mignon Stroganoff. We both ordered Spumoni for dessert. Definitely could have shared dessert but glad we didn't. Unusual but excellent with Lady Fingers. We were very pleased with the food. We left with doggie bags and enjoyed our meals again the next day. We'll definitely be back again!

Vanessa S.

Yelp
Nothing but good things to say about this place. Have been a few times in person and order for delivery regularly. The lasagna and pasta dishes are so good, along with the cheesecake is our favorite.

Eileen A.

Yelp
Once again I chose Sebastiani's to celebrate my birthday with my husband. This restaurant never fails to serve the best Italian food. My husband and I enjoyed the warm bread accompanied with a red and parsley dip, a bottle of red wine, Cesar salad and Fettuccine Sebastiani's. I order this every time I visit and it's just the best pasta dish. I have enough for two more meals! Robin, our awesome server, was as cheerful and friendly as ever. Since I could order any complimentary dessert for my birthday, I chose the crème brûlée. Wow, ate it all. If you haven't been to this unassuming restaurant on the outside in a strip mall, you will be pleasantly pleased once you're inside. Book a table for your next night out, they get very busy on the weekends.

Tim N.

Yelp
I recently found this spot near my clients office. We had dinner here and it was a very nice hidden gem. Food was fabulous and nice live music.

Rich T.

Yelp
Wonderful! Wonderful! Wonderful! I've visited twice and just a wonderful experience from start to finish. Staff is wonderful all through. Food is very tasty and a wide selection. Osso Buco was very good and full shank. Nice selection of wine as well. Very reasonably priced and it's a place where you can start chatting with your neighbors. I recommend to sit in the wine bar on a Friday night.

Amber-Sky S.

Yelp
A friend and I went to Sebaistani's last week (the Tuesday before Christmas) for a little holiday meal and it was a very pleasant experience. The restaurant is small but very cute. Food was very good and service was pretty good. Our first server was a little quieter and provided slower service, but they had just opened so maybe she was just filling in because shortly after, a new server came on the scene and she was great! When we sat, they served us grilled bread with 2 sauces; a pesto and a marinara (?) which was pretty good. Didn't love the sauces; the pesto was only okay and the marinara/tomato based sauce would have been better warm. We preferred dipping it in olive oil and balsamic. Either way it was a nice touch and appreciated it. We started by ordering the Caprese Classica, which was sliced mozzarella di Bufala & tomatoes with fresh basil and drizzled with EVO and balsamic glaze. It was pretty good but a little lacking for $8. 3.5/5 for taste I ordered the Fettucine Sebastiani; fettuccine tossed with grilled chicken, sautéed mushrooms, sun dried tomatoes, and basil in a Parmesan cream sauce with a touch of garlic. This was a good dish and the leftovers the next day were good as well. The Parmesan cream sauce felt a little bland but I think it was just my brain tricking me as to what a Parmesan cream sauce would taste like (more American alfredo) but it was a good, solid dish and I'd eat it again. 4/5 My friend ordered another classic, the Penne Arriabata. This was penne from odder in a spicy tomato sauce with a touch of basil, capers and finished with spicy Italian sausage. I didn't try it but my friend said it was very good. We also each had a glass of white wine (not pictured) which was tasty. It wasn't any savings to buy the wine bottle, so we each did a glass and a half (shared the cost on the 2nd glass and then split it). Lastly, I ended with tiramisu, which I forgot to get a photo of and sadly, was not my favorite. I love tiramisu but this one had too much marscapone for me and I would not get it again. Next time I'll try their cannoli or spumoni perhaps. 2.5/5 Overall we had a nice, pleasant dining experience and would come back.

Jennifer P.

Yelp
We came here after golf on our 20th Anniversary. Food was amazing! Service was great! New favorite place!

Marian L.

Yelp
Food is just general. I ordered the pizza, it said 5 toppings. I hardly the pepperoni and ham. It was cut so tiny like pepper. The environment looks comfortable if you just have drinks.

David S.

Yelp
I had the spinach tortellini w/pink sauce. Twas the vibe furrsherrr. They had a live guitarist! Loved it. Wanna come back and eat all their bread again service was great for me!

Courtney M.

Yelp
I went here for the first time the other night! It was so nice, nothing to fancy but a definite hole in the wall!!! I was a little confused when i first walked in but eventually someone will come to the front and seat you. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was elegant, the service was quick and i am very happy with my visit!! 10/10 eat here again.

Hugo A.

Yelp
Was doing laundry close by and decided to try this place out. Pretty good food i love Italian food so i wanted to try their pasta. Would come back again customer service is great here

Corina K.

Yelp
Delicious fettuccine Alfredo. Everyone loved their food. Great place to relax and have a meal. Sorry no photos too hungry.

Aerick B.

Yelp
What a pleasant surprise. Have been trying many new restaurants in my area and Sebastian's was great. We all tried each others pasta and each dish was excellent. Definitely a must try if you're up for some Italian food.

Winston S.

Yelp
A couple of weeks ago, I called in an order for take out. Immediately, I noticed that the gentleman who answered the phone to be at a professional pace. It was as if I was ordering at a fine dining establishment while dining in. No sarcasm. When I arrived, a young lady at the cashier stand, didn't see my name nor my order. Scott(I think was his name) immediately went to the chefs and resolved the issue. Scott offered my buddy and I a soda or sip of wine, to smooth things over. We weren't upset nor in a hurry, but Scott's kind gesture was a pleasant surprise. I thought he was a family member of the owner, but he said he started working there 5 months ago. Sebastiani's has a great eye for talent! Every time I order or dine in has been top notch service. These are things that are rare these days, so I am happy to give props.

Mike K.

Yelp
Had diner Friday night, seated in room with entertainment. Was so loud no one could talk. Had to scream to communicate with my group. I thought it was background entertainment, no, super loud screaming from guy with 80,s rock.... But the food was good. If I go again it will be when entertainment is not going on or sit in other room... so maybe ask if it's background or concert volume beforehand.

Shawn H.

Yelp
We had dinner tonight at this amazing bistro. The service was outstanding. We started with the carpaccio that was incredible. Next up we had the roasted red bell pepper soup it was dynamite. And for our main course we had their special of the evening which was a braised short rib lasagna that was out of this world delicious. I wish we could give this place 10 stars it's that great. There are no words to describe how amazing this place is. Do yourself a favor and try it, you will not be disappointed.

Jesselynn H.

Yelp
We were sat in the bar section of the restaurant and the tables are so cute! It's a glass too over corks from different wines. The pesto they serve with the bread is absolutely decadent. We got the calamari to start, and it was a decent portion for $12. I ordered the beef ravioli with pink sauce. It was super filling and I ended up taking some home. My party also ordered the oso bucco and spaghetti bolognese with extra meatballs. Our server was very attentive and nice, which was really sweet since we came in 40 minutes til close. We'll definitely be back.

Megan M.

Yelp
Blonde server in her late 60's messes up order constantly, and instead of taking fault and apologizing she blames the customer and gives attitude.

Gary L.

Yelp
So refreshing to go to a great restaurant, with a nice atmosphere, wonderful service, and excellent food at reasonable prices. The atmosphere is very nice and welcoming. The service was amazing, personable and caring and the food was very good. The pizza with the imported crust from Italy is really excellent and the lasagna was also very good ! Eating here is like a small family owned restaurant in Italy with home cooked food. we look forward to returning soon and also to enjoying the pizza to go!

Brianna K.

Yelp
Chicken dishes are all amazing. My favorite in chicken Florentin. The servers are always friendly and helpful.

Victoria C.

Yelp
My new favorite Italian place! I believe it is family owned. The service is phenomenal. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. My boyfriend and I came on a Friday night. We had the most amazing experience sitting in the wine room, listening to live music, and sipping some of the best wines I've had. There's an option to dine outside but we felt safe dining indoors since it was not overcrowded. The lady on the keyboard played and sang the best love songs and classics. Our server Melanie was the absolute best! I wanted to order a pasta without cheese. She was able to go over some options and offer suggestions on how to customize dishes to meet my needs. Ambience & experience: 5/5! Food: Soup of the day: 5/5 - amazing! (potato, celery, and artichoke) - definitely order your own because it's too good to share Chicken Marsala: 5/5 - amazing! (replaced the side of mashed potatoes? with pasta) Rigatoni Di Lauren: 4.5/5 (no cheese) - the cream sauce is heavy if you are lactose - intolerant, even if you take lactaid pills Boyfriend really enjoyed one. I felt the bacon taste could be more bold. Tiramisu: 5/5 Moist & just the way I like it Wine: We wanted a wine that was not too dry. Melanie & another server recommended the New Red Blend (5/5)-our favorite, a merlot blend (5/5), and a cab blend (5/5). We tried them all and they were on point. I also ordered a glass of resiling (5/5). The Yelp reviewers weren't kidding, they have delicious wines! It's hard to find a wine I like at restaurants but to try 4 amazing ones is impressive. Definitely will be making more trips back and look forward to coming here on Valentine's Day some time.

Sunita L.

Yelp
I would give Sebastiani's 10 stars if I could. Phil and his incredible staff made my boyfriends 50th Birthday celebration all that an more! The food was delicious, the atmosphere was ideal, and the attention to detail was outstanding. If you are planning a party, or a simple evening out with friends and family....please come and visit Phil and his staff. I can assure you, you will not be disappointed! Thank you Phil!!!

Lisa Z.

Yelp
This is the best Italian restaurant in HB. Food atmosphere and staff are great. I recommend it and expect ally when they have entertainers singing.

Jacob C.

Yelp
Arianna is the best waitress. She made great drink suggestions and was so kind the food was amazing and the entertainment was great

Kris N.

Yelp
Favorite spot in town, great family owned spot. It feels like home. The nice young lady server is always sweet and goes above and beyond. I come here monthly with my lady and they always ask how my food was afterwords. Very welcoming and great food all around, no complaints

Dustin M.

Yelp
Trader Joe's chicken Marsala is hands down better. The cream sauce was more like a sugary brown gravy. The risotto fritters showed no signs of risotto. All breadcrumbs and cheese. Plus they do not disclose their 3% surcharge to run credit before hand. Server does not know the menu. Couldn't get out of there fast enough.

David D.

Yelp
Excellent homie food! Worm atmosphere and kind service! Their beef empanadas something else

Pelin U.

Yelp
We got there half an hour after they opened so pretty much we had the whole place to ourselves. We got served bread with marinara dip and butter parsley dip. Butter parsley dip was something new to me and it was good. Their creamy zuchhini, spinach soup was very well balanced and delicious. Hubby got the shot rib risotto and the meat was very tender and yummy. I ordered my go to fettucini with mushroom and chicken and the sauce was on point. I enjoyed my dish. Also ordered a glass of pinot grigio and it was ok. Our server was very nice and friendly and answered all our questions. Overall it was a good experience and I would definitely go back there.

Bart L.

Yelp
The food is really good and our server (Savanna) was everything you would want in a server. It was only given a 3 rating was for one reason. They charge you a 3% surcharge on you total bill for using any credit card, but they do not tell you that in advance and it is not noted on the menu or posted anywhere in the restaurant. If you didn't notice it on the bill you would never know.

Jesse R.

Yelp
This is a below the radar little Italian spot. Lot's of wine...I don't know s*** about wine so I'll just stop right there. No booze and a small beer selection. They have have Stone IPA though so that gets me by. They have two rooms, a low table restaurant room and a high table bar type room. I like the high table room as it is the spot that will have live music if it's the right night. Service is always good. They give you free bread, which is very "meh". It comes with a green spread(not basil though) and a marinara that is very simple and seems fresh out of the fridge each time. So weird considering the rest of their food. I am not a creature of habit...except when it comes to Sebastiani's. Let me introduce you to their Lasagna di pollo. It has chicken, artichoke, pink sauce and what really seems like fresh pasta. It's so delicious I absolutely cannot bring myself to order anything else. My all time favorite Italian dish. But be careful, you'll see it and suddenly turn into Garfield, but it's hotter than Mordor, so let it cool. Then when you think it's cool, wait a couple more minutes. Their pizza is great, unlimited toppings at a flat rate guarantees you'll get the combo you desire. What a great idea. I've had a couple other pasta dishes that were good. My wife has loved everything she's had. Their empanadas are yummy. One of my favorite spots to get fat.

Bahram G.

Yelp
Wow what an amazing Italian restaurant, beautiful ambiance and friendly staff. The food was absolutely delicious. I ordered Oso Bucco (lamb shanks) and my wife ordered Barramundi Limone and my daughter had Shrimp pesto linguine. All were super yummy and large portions. Our server's name was Scott and he was absolutely the best. The highlight of our night was after my 8 year old son lost his tooth while he was having some bread. Scott came to our table pretending to talk to tooth ferry on the phone and gave my son $5. Thank you Scott. Thank you Sebastiani's for an incredible evening.
