Seattle’s New Restaurant Openings

"Natural wine bar/bottle shop hybrids are popping up left and right like leftover glitter after the Solstice Parade. The latest is in West Seattle, opened by a former wine importer from Italy. Sebastiano’s lofted space is small with only a few barstools, and they’re open every day except Tuesday." - kayla sager riley, aimee rizzo

Sebastiano’s is my favorite wine shop in Seattle (& honestly anywhere), full stop. The natural wine selection is incredible. Always changing, always thoughtful, and always delicious. But what really sets this place apart is the warmth and community Sebastiano has created. My wife wasn’t much of a natural wine person before we started coming here. Now she won’t drink anything else...that's how good his bottles are, and there really is something for everyone. Every time we visit, Sebastiano takes the time to walk us through what they're pouring that day and always help us find bottles we truly love. Sebastiano’s feels like a family. It’s not just a wine shop. It’s a neighborhood gathering spot that makes you feel welcome the moment you walk in--not even joking, we've made multiple friends just by sitting at the bar for a couple of hours. Whether you're new to natural wine or deep into it, there’s something special waiting for you here.

This wine shop is a total gem. It’s cute, welcoming, and refreshingly unpretentious. The selection is incredible, with thoughtfully chosen bottles and a great mix of by-the-glass options. It works as a tasting room, a hangout spot, and a go-to for bringing home something special. More than anything, it feels like a community. Sebastiano is kind, the regulars are friendly, and the whole space makes you want to spend your afternoon or evening sipping and chatting.

I enjoyed that! Having a wine bar of our own, we kind of have an eye for these things… Stop and have a glass. Enjoy the conversation, great music as well!

If you enjoy excellent company and stimulating conversation coupled with delicious wine, you need to to find your way to Sebastiano's Natural Wines in West Seattle. You won't find a friendlier, neighborhood wine shop anywhere in the PNW anchored by a most interesting and knowledgeable natural wine steward. I like to think of Sebastiano Tecchio as the "Timothy Leary" of Natural Wine!!! He's a true Legend of a Mind when it comes to demystifying the sometimes confusing and murky world that defines this amazing libation. To quote the Moody Blues: "Along the coast you'll hear them boast About a light they say that shines so clear So raise your glass, we'll drink a toast To the little man who sells you thrills along the pier" So Turn In, Tune In and Drink Up at Sebastiano's Natural Wines!!!

Super warm service at Sebastiano’s! Every guest also felt like a neighbor and the space created a feeling of closeness you don’t get at many other wine bars. Delicious wines every time we’ve gone in for a glass or grabbed a bottle to go.

My favorite wine bar in seattle by far. The naturals wines are excellent and the changing selection always keeps things fresh. It’s a warm and welcoming environment and a great neighborhood staple!

Sebastiano’s is hands down my favorite wine spot in West Seattle—equal parts shop, vibe, and community. Thoughtful picks, zero snobbery, and staff who make you feel cooler just for walking in. 10/10 will sip again—often.

Yelp
cute neighborhood wine bar specializing in beyond organic wines. i highly recommend trying a flight! ours consisted of: italian orange austrian rosé slovenian rosé (?) italian idon'tremember argentinian malbec all interesting flavors. it's a cute space with a great art exhibit of a local artist (i happened to recognize the last name from living and working in the community for as long as i have,) and tons of selection to purchase and take home....unless you wanna sit inside at the bar or outside at the two cafe tables. the woman working was super nice and i'd definitely come back. this is walking distance for a lot of folks and if you're driving there's street parking to be had. it's also on a bus line so there's no excuse for not coming and checking this place out. have a glass or two and enjoy the effort to curate something a little bit different!

Yelp
Sebastiano's is a local neighborhood gem! The wine is reasonably priced and wonderful. Sebastiano is an active owner and always has great pairing suggestions and recommendations. It's a small space and gets pretty full, but Sebastiano always tries to accommodate! Give it a chance you won't be disappointed.

Yelp
Adorable little place with a great selection of natural wines! Enjoyed a glass there, and the owner helped us choose a few bottles to take home. Vibes were 10/10

Yelp
This place is amazing. Such a hidden gem with a terrific selection of natural wines, great ambiance and apparently a loose connection with a super cute "market" (Soiree) next door with great snacks and more. Can't say enough about Sebastiano, his knowledge of wine and the welcome international flavor he brings to the neighborhood. Definitely worth a stop if you're anywhere in/near West Seattle.

Yelp
It truly is terrific: the community, the wine, the vibe; it's fantastic whether you are stopping in to grab a bottle or a glass. Sebastiano has made a must-stop-spot in West Seattle

Yelp
This sanctuary is a gem for natural wine enthusiasts. The curated selection and guidance from the owner, "Wine Papa", makes it a place to visit. You will find a warm welcome from community and friends any day of the week. Pair your wine with snacks from the shop next door Soirée and make it a full experience for your taste buds. Highly recommend!

Yelp
We were really excited to shop here but I don't know if I've ever felt less welcome in a store. I'm not sure they actually want to sell wine. It was super off putting. The purveyor was hosting a small Group of tasters and didn't greet us when we came in and then didn't ask us if we needed help for almost ten minutes. We had come specifically to learn a bit more about some organic wine and buy a few different bottles wanting to support a local west seattle business versus buying online. Needless to say we left.

Yelp
In town visiting a friend and they suggested having a glass of wine here. Sweet little spot!!! Cool owner and enjoyed just sitting outside getting some sun and meeting new people.
