I am so impressed! By shipping alone I seen the care that goes into their products. Now that I have had the opportunity to cook and taste the quality I get it! So far I have had the groundbeef patties and pork loin chops 10/10.. I still have salmon and ribeye steak to go..I cant wait!!

These were the best steaks I’ve tried!!! The meat was so soft and tender!! I also tried a pack of the shrimp and they were HUGE! Ordering was so easy and my package was delivered right on time. I will definitely be ordering from them again.

The first time I ordered from Second City Prime was back in December when I got a Prime Rib for Christmas. I wanted the best prime grade I could find and they did not disappoint! I’ve ordered prime rib, Australian Wagyu beef back ribs and an Australian Wagyu brisket. The marbling is always so beautiful. I’ve never had an issue with shipping. The workers go above and beyond to keep the customers happy. I totally recommend Second City Prime!!

I recently ordered If I one South African cold water lobster tail, two the 14oz Meyer Ranch NYC strip steaks and one Amish plain Boneless chicken breast. All of those items cost $156.00 before tax. As of the writing of this review I had not yet cooked the Amish plain Boneless chicken breast. I cooked the South African cold water lobster tail and two the 14oz Meyer Ranch NYC strip steaks in one dinner with my wife. We completely enjoyed them. I prepared the two 14oz Meyer Ranch NYC strip steaks by adding only salt and pepper staring them staring them out on the grill and finishing them in the oven. Although I’m not the best cook in the world, I thought the flavor of the steaks were very good. I cooked the lobster tail by boiling it. The lobster tail had nice subtle and sweet flavor. The quality and taste of the streaks and lobster tail rival that of a fine Chicago steakhouse, even though I did the cooking. Delivery was fast and I got what I ordered accurately. Overall, I highly recommend. This service and their food are be great for gift for some else or just to treat yourself.

I buy online and I've bought several items. Quality has all been excellent. Customer service is old school (actual response). I've bought pork,seafood and beef. Top shelf on everything I've had. We selected the skirt steak for a dinner party, and not only was the meat TOP quality, the service was also terrific! The SCP driver coordinated the dropoff perfectly for when we needed the goods by. It was so much fun making a steakhouse restaurant quality dinner right at home!

TLDR: Always incredible quality and the level of service is second to none! My bf and I love steak as much as we like to drink Scotch--and that's a lot. The last time we ordered some wagyu ribeyes and tomahawks, our order literally arrived the next day. It was like they delivered as soon as we placed our order! The meats were packaged carefully and even though we were not able to retrieve our package for 12 hours, the meats were still frozen when we opened the styrofoam box *Phew*. They also included this incredible steak rub which is hands down our FAVORITE rub. I can't even remember the last time we cooked steaks without it!! Ordering from Second City Prime has become our new favorite place to get our ribeyes and tomahawks and we'll definitely be getting more for our next special occasion :).

This company has me as a forever customer for a few reasons. This is a meat home delivery service. Their site is clear and easy to order from. Lets talk Second City Prime Steak and Seafood! QUALITY: The QUALITY of the meat is phenomenal. This delivery service company will send you whatever you order in a box with a frozen back to make sure your meat is frozen when it arrives at your doorstep. So you think, "Ok, well how is it going to taste?" LIKE BUTTER. IT TASTES LIKE MEAT BUTTER. I didn't flavor my meat much. If you have a great piece of steak, you don't need to flavor your meat. I cooked my filet mignon on a cast iron with thyme, some butter, salt and pepper and it tasted fantastic. If you use any sauce (like A1), go to a grocery store instead. This meat was wonderful. The burgers, OH MY GOSH, they have ground beef patties and they are like no other. You put The Rub on that baby and enclosed between a brioche bun, your taste buds thank you for days. VALUE: I ordered the Prime Time Package for $130. It came with Filet Mignon, Prime Boneless Ribeye, Prime NY Strip and a bottle of The Rub dry spice. To me, for this quality of meat, I find that purchasing more than a couple kinds is best. Especially during shelter in place, I can easily store them in my freezer. It doesn't take much space and I can take them out in the morning to thaw and (if you chose) marinate your steak in the afternoon for a few hours before hitting the grill or cast iron. SELECTION: You can pretty much get any kind of steak you want. They have Wagyu meat and they go quick! You can also get poultry and seafood. Prime Beef, Wagyu (Australia and Japan) Ground Meats and Hot Dogs, Dry Aged Beef, Iberico and Berkshire Pork, Amish and Organic Poultry, Domestic Lamb, Seafood and Roasts. PACKAGING: Each steak or meat is individually packed. If they are double packed, the site will tell you. This makes for great portion control when you aren't trying to eat too much. Everything is pre-weighed, trimmed and cleaned. All you have to do is rip open the packaging. The labels also tells you how to store the meat and it's inspection stamp. This is great help, especially during COVID times. I was thoroughly pleased with the meat, how it tasted, how it held and the way it looked after I thawed it out. When you get it delivered to your home, it's in a box wrapped in foil and with ice to ensure the meat is cold for it's trip to your house. SERVICE: LET'S TALK ABOUT SERVICE!!! So, I had questions. I reached out to Chris and Susie (owners of this business) and they answered my messages instantly. I had so many questions and they were so nice and patient with me. If you ever run into them, you would be delighted to talk to them. Very personable people and they know their product. They are my own personal meat experts! I'm glad they have this business becasue they are going to hear from me more often because I'm going to purchase more meat! Their website is clean and easy to navigate. I look for whatever meat I want and I can easily find it! Placing an order is just as easy. I created an account and now go in when I have another order with my information. It's so easy. I was also happy to get it hand delivered to my doorstep, after a day! I love this company, the people that run this and the product. I am most certainly getting some more meats as gifts in the future. The best part is that I don't need to worry about delivery because they will deliver the product to your doorstep.

Second City Prime has some really good steaks. We cooked them last weekend and I really enjoyed the taste and tenderness of both steaks that I had. Highly recommend ordering from them if you want good quality.

I was searching for a company to provide high quality steaks to please my foodie guests that were coming over last Friday, and I don't even know where to begin. I reached out to Second City Prime and I was so impressed by the knowledge that this staff had, they made me so confident in purchasing. Every single item they suggested worked out perfectly. Amazing quality meats! We ordered the chicken breasts and the ground chicken and love that the ground chicken has no retained water! Super fast delivery. Would definitely order again!

I ordered filet mignon steaks, the brisket short rib chuck burgers, Iberico baby back ribs, Moulard duck breasts, hot dogs, and South African lobster tails on Dec 5, 2023. I received all on Dec 8th but instead of the baby backs I received St. Louis ribs. They substituted without asking me. I paid more for the baby backs which I prefer over St Louis. After I asked why the substitution, I was told they were out of baby backs and sent the St Louis. I told them I should have been consulted first since I paid more for the baby backs. Chris the owner said they would "definitely do whatever it takes to make sure you're satisfied...Perhaps I can send you some of my Sakura Berkshire baby back ribs in the meantime." I haven't received anything since my first order. I spent $545.80. I expected to receive either a refund for the ribs or the baby backs but have received nada. Thanks Chris, not! I didn't like the St. Louis ribs. They had way to much fat even for St. Louis ribs. I will say the lobster, duck and filets were excellent.

These guys know their stuff!! From Australian Wagyu to Triple-blend Prime Burgers to Iberico Ham (the secret word is SECRETTO!!!), their quality products never disappoint. Chris and Susie are great to work with and really go the extra mile! Couldn't recommend them more!!

When my eleventh hour order for Thanksgiving was delayed by the shipper, Susie promptly acted and made sure that the goods would arrive on time!! The heritage turkeys were excellent. The customer service was stellar. I look forward to trying other products soon.

BEST DECISION we ever made! Years ago we saw an ad for Second City Prime on Facebook, we had never heard of it but wanted to take a chance... we haven't turned back ever since! We get all of our chicken, steak wings etc from them, and our guests are ALWAYS asking where it's all from! If you purchase from Second City Prime, not only are you getting DELICIOUS food, you couldn't be supporting a two harder working and appreciative owners!! *Don't forget to get the Umami and the RUB! We put those on everything! *

I've ordered few times and always like to try different options and everything i've tried has been amazing, love the sauce and seasoning, I use the seasoning on almost everything and way better quality meat then what i find local stores.

We ordered a special variety package off the Internet. The shipment arrived a couple of days later as promised. However, there was an issue that either occurred during packaging or shipping. I immediately called and explained our concerns. The response was, to be honest, unlike any response I've ever had from any customer service I've dealt with. It doesn't get any better. They replaced our order and had it to our front door in Ohio, at 9 AM, the next morning. By the way, the meat is fantastic! We don't get beef like it around here at all. We'll be ordering more for our "special" occasions. Thanks Second City for a job well done!

I have been ordering from SCP since 2019 and the quality and service surpassed my expectations. Chris's seafood and meats are such high-quality that my company now sends them out to our employees, our key customers and we often create campaigns for our classes and provide SCP steak or seafood boxes. I now order for my family across the country and friends. Who needs Marianos, Jewel or Costco when you can have the juiciest of meats and delectable seafood shipped right to your door on dry-ice. Oh and be sure to try the turkey breast around Thanksgiving (see picture). Unbelievably tender. The reason really and truly for my review is to call out their exemplary customer service and the fact that they truly care about their customers. I have sent several emails to Chris or Vince over the years asking about serving size, preparations, recommendations etc... They always respond the same day with a call, text or email. I had a very unfortunate situation happen with one of their deliveries a couple of weeks ago. This is no fault of theirs. I called on a Saturday and got voicemail. Literally, within five minutes Vince called me back. He took care of me and replaced my entire order at no charge. Who does that? No questions asked, didn't even want the police report number. I feel like there is so much negativity, frustration and aggravation that people Yelp about, and just wanted to let everyone out there know that these guys are the best of the best. Second City Prime provided our event with some fantastic food. We sampled some more of their simple products like Hot Dogs, Burgers, and Chicken Wings which were fantastic. Packaged well (we were traveling a couple hours with this food). great taste. and great portion (none of those tiny chicken wings). We also bought Wagyu (various cuts), strip steaks, and ribeye, all of which were incredible. Second City Prime is the real deal, and I would recommend this place to anyone. Thanks again Chris!

We loved cooking their steaks at home! We tried the Australian wagyu Bavette steak and Australian wagyu ribeye! Seriously both so fresh & professionally cut.

Customer service is A+. Their USDA Prime steaks, organic chicken, and WAGYU beef are amazing! They have a huge selection to choose from and their prompt delivery to your doorstep is perfect during this time dealing with the COVID-19 issue. I highly recommend!

Ive been doing business with Chris for at least 10 years and am totally hooked on meat from this company. After introducing friends to the meat, they are now hooked too. One friend has pork chops shipped to his dad in New York after he took some to him and got him hooked too. It's hard to eat lesser quality meat anymore. The chops and chicken are the absolute best. And I rotate which steak cuts I buy, but the 5 oz fillets are a standard in my freezer. All of the individual cuts are packaged for the freezer and you never have to worry about freezer burn. You can't go wrong if you love good meat.

I have never had better meat! Served the boneless ribeyes and the Wagyu Flank steak to 9 people at a dinner party. Everyone LOVED it! Chris delivered it to me and told me how to prepare it using a rub and a marinade he sold to me. It was perfect and easy. The meat melts in your mouth, so flavorful and looked beautiful. My guests were impressed. Chris was helpful and great to work with. But the meat! Outstanding. I can't recommend this company enough.

Best Meat In Town without a doubt! I love to start my summer off with a huge BBQ, and I made the best decision by ordering from this place! It was easy, just went online and selected a variety of different kinds of meat! This has got to be the best Steak I have ever tried! Here's the thing, I rarely order steak when I eat out - because it usually ain't that great. So believe me when I say this "This steak is to die for....so tender that literally melts in your mouth, not kidding!" When it comes to food, i am very picky and cautious, but this family owned company deserves all the credits. Great food, best service. I definitely recommend it!

I absolutely love these meats! I used to think that a great steak had more to do with how well it was cooked than the cut of the meat. Therefore I wasn't into spending a little more for quality. No matter how badly I accidently overcook these meats they are still tender and delicious! Thankfully, I've gotten much better at searing them to a perfect medium rare (thanks to some tips from Chris, Aka: Steak guy). I highly recommend the skirt steak. You won't believe how tender and delicious it tastes. Much better than any restaurant skirt steak that I've had. If you want to spoil yourself for life, try the Spinalis. Simply the best cut of meat I have ever had. The umami sauce he sells is quite unique and is my new favorite sauce. The rub is great too! Restaurant steaks just don't measure up even when I'm the chef!

I've had 2 deliveries so far. Superior quality, speedy and well packaged. The prime 8 oz filet mignons were 'like butter' as were the NY strip steaks. If you're looking for exceptional steaks, look no further.

If I could give Second City Prime six stars I would. Chris the owner is a cut above the rest. He runs a very professional business and his meats are amazing. The business card he gave me says "Bringing the chop house to your house" Well let me tell you people it's spot on. We grilled up the filet medallions last night and they literally melted in my mount. It helps that my wife is good on the grill but the taste of the meat was superb. The rub the they make is so tasty. It was like having Wildfire or Morton's steaks at home. We will be calling Chris from now on for all of our steak and seafood needs.

This company delivers a great variety of meat! I'm not a big meat eater, but I LOVE their steak and it's the only steak I eat. It's top quality and it's like your eating at a very expensive steakhouse. They don't even charge you delivery fees! The meat is always fresh and evryone I've cooked it for has loved it. I've been a customer for over a year now and have been very happy with the products that I've purchased. The delivery is fast and the meat always makes a statement at our dinners.
