This was my first time visiting this spot - highly recommend. It’s the old Sears store! - I use to shop there all the time + take Ruby 🚗 in for oil changes next door all the time 🥹 they serve cider! + beer + wine. first 3 hours of parking 🅿️ are FREE in gated lot - the gates are fancy high tech + read your license plates 😱🤩

There are so many cool local beers. The bartender knew exactly what to serve me and helped answer questions. Fun collection of board games and easy parking.

This a fantastic place to grab beers and hang with friends or family. Great environment and atmosphere. There is an outdoor area to sit and have beer too. They have some the best craft beer in Houston and rotate them out. Great place to identify your fave type of beer and the bartenders and very knowledgeable.

Their selection has always been on point with all the best local brews! They even have non-alcoholic choices. Awesome patio and their team is great to work with with buyouts and reservations! Can’t recommend this spot enough!

Rachel and James are awesome! They really are. But I must be honest: the most awesome thing about this place is that I once paid the tab for THE ENTIRE BAR and it was around the same as I pay for just myself at other fancy pantsy bars. You can also get food from the Lymbar (great burgers).

Check out Second Draft on your next day/night out. Great beer options and incredible staff!! I have always had a great experience every time I go.

The bartenders here are amazing and the beer selection is fantastic. Beloved in here for everything except for the fact that it gets way too loud when there's extra people. Noise canceling tech needs to be installed ASAP!

This beer bar has a really nice patio! The inside is a sleek, modern space. The staff was friendly and helpful and they had a good selection of local beers at reasonable prices. Great place to grab a beer after work.

Nice place in The Ion (old Sears building) for a cold draft or glass of wine. Nice staff who is ready to assist. Nice patio with view of the courtyard with a new art installation coming soon.

Located in the Ion building they have a nice corner spot with both bar, indoor and patio seating. Even if you're not a beer drinker check this place out they have plenty of options. They have a variety of things on tap a week a wine and nonalcoholic options. The mango cider drink was fruity and slightly carbonated. If you're a mango fan try this drink. The staff is friendly,welcoming and helpful. I didn't know what to get and the bartender was knowledgeable and patient with helping me decide. They also have daily specials Monday $2 off draft Tuesday $2 off cans and bottles Wednesday $6 wine and champagne Thursday/Fr $2 off beer of the day

Unfortunately, I did not care for the wine I chose out of the two options. I ended up throwing it out. Also, I am not a beer person, so this was not for me. The ambiance was nice and the service was friendly.

Cool place to have a beer or glass od wine at The Ion. There were about 8-10 beers on draft, several wines on tap, and I saw assorted bottled and canned beer along with non-alcoholic beverages and sparkling waters. Staff was great! Came here for the market, we will come back again and again, cool place.

I recently learned about this really cool bar in a relatively new midtown plaza and I'm surprised there aren't more people checking this place out! They have a good amount of relatively cheap beer on tap, and on Mondays, the 16 oz drinks are an extra 2 dollars off, making the drinks anywhere from $2-5 dollars. The inside looks clean and even somewhat upscale and I even saw a couple people doing their work there since there were barely any customers on the Monday evening I was there. There are also a couple tables for outdoor seating that I can't wait to take advantage of when the weather improves and the most important all for a place in midtown: parking! The plaza has its own parking lot that is free for 0-3 hours. The accessibility of free parking itself is a barrier that has made visiting venues in midtown such a pain and is just a cherry on top for this nice spot to relax with a glass of beer!

2nd Draft is an AMAZING pub at the ION district that you'll be sure to visit. 18+ taps rotating local craft and microbreweries and the atmosphere of innovation and collaboration between the university and industry entrepreneurs. Love this place! Aris "the tap-master" was so helpful in explaining the current selections, allied tastings and then was able to describe the technical attributes and conditions of a perfect nitro pour! Second Draft is on my frequented list for sure. Thanks!
