I went for a tour of this foodbank. The staff is super knowledgeable on the operation. I learned so much from our guide that will assist in encouraging the operation at my own foodbank to develop further. I love how well set up the building is. I also love that the company is both employee and client centric.

Went for a team building day . Was so fun !! Casual atmosphere and we were able to interact with our whole team the entire time - not mandated to be at specific stations

Had an amazing volunteer event as always. I always recommend this experience for anyone looking to give back. By far the best staff, so organized, always willing to help, and give the best facts about what you are contributing to. Such a rewarding time!

I used to donate here, but i found that out they paid their CEO close to 1 million dollars per year, and I wanted my funds to go somewhere where it made a difference. I assume they do good things, but seems a little odd how much money they pay staff.

Volunteered as part of a company outing and was so impressed with Allison OToole and the entire facility and organization. She knocked our socks off with all the wonderful things Second Harvest does for the community. Also, how much they value their employees and their belief in what they do and what they stand for (mission statement). Our group could tell that their Director is a great leader that inspires everyone from employee to Volunteer to work hard and realize how important their job is to the organization no matter how small. Had a wonderful time! Can't wait to start volunteering!
