First time here and we had a great time. Food, cocktails and service were excellent. We started with the Cesar salad - which was lighter than the usual creamy dressing and lovely. Really enjoyed it. I had the Fiocchetti pasta - not too sweet and cooked perfectly al dente. Delicious. My husband had the Ossobucco and it was phenomenal. Best we’ve ever had. Loved the Old Fashioned cocktails too. Can’t wait to come back and try out more dishes here.

My best friend and I went to Secreto for her birthday with friends. We had an amazing dinner experience, one for the books, for sure! The service was great, everyone was very attentive. We were impressed with every dish that we tried. Their handmade gnocchi was out of this world. Love the new location will be back.

Cool, intimate Italian restaurant with EXCEPTIONAL service the likes of which I've never experienced in Miami! The waiters work as a team and make you feel very welcome and catered to. Wish every dining experience was like this. Loved the art on all the walls!! The food was very flavorful & different, and the presentation beautiful (see pics). Some of the items are a bit pricey but worth it for the most part. The waiter verbally tells you the specials, but I think they could benefit from having a daily printed sheet showing the specials and prices. There's something about READING a menu/specials that makes them more enticing than listening to them, plus you can see the prices which are not told to you. I wish they'd improve this. Also, the online menu is a little different than the restaurant menu. Still, I'd come back and would recommend you experience this charming restaurant!

Exceptional service without any exceptions. Atmosphere was quiet and relaxing. Went for our daughter’s birthday with family and the service was 5star +. Highly recommended this restaurant. Food presentation was excellent, great wine selections and full bar.

This restaurant is truly my best kept secret! The attention to detail in the food and quality of service truly makes this restaurant fine dining. The pasta is always cooked to perfection and their wine selection never disappoints. I have celebrated serval special occasions here like Father's Day, anniversaries and birthdays. Everyone in their staff works together to give you the best experience including the chef, they truly make you feel special. This restaurant gives a romantic and intimate ambiance. Depending on the holiday they tend to have live music, one year on Valentine's Day they had a violinist which was a very nice touch. They also fill up pretty quickly, so I recommend reserving a table in advance. Dishes I have tried: Fig Ravioli: salty meets sweet, my number one choice. Fiochetti: cheesy, sweet and savory. Pear filled pasta with vodka sauce. Carpaccio di Manzo: thinly sliced Filet Mignon with Parmesan, lemon and olive oil Honorable mention: Shrimp Scampi and Mozzarella Capresse are also two great dishes I've had in the past. If you're in Kendall or willing to drive you will not regret trying this restaurant!

Yes chef!!! This hidden gem blew me away with such a versatile menu that I did not expect! I will say price is steep but most dishes it's well worth the cost! Highlighted items: Calamari Salmon tartare Lobster croquets Corvina Only restaurant I know that you can send request to the chef for things not on the menu and they truly cater to your experience! Lovely place to go without driving too far from my home. Service was luxurious it made me feel like in Europe. Food was amazing now I know why it gets packed so quick. Please visit Secreto if you love pasta.

Secreto is a hidden gem in a Kendall strip mall. Ambience is a gently lit dining room with white clothed tables surrounded by walls covered in eclectic art. Saturday night was busy, but we had reservations which are recommended. Upon being seated, bread and an olive oil dip was brought to the table along with water with or without bubbles (I love this). The bread was not the best choice for an olive oil dip; a crusty baguette would have taken this review to a 5 star (seriously, bread composition is not to be taken lightly). The real shine to this little gem is the food and service. Appetizer of 5 cheese croquettes on top of a tasty guava sauce was super tiny (just 4 breaded cheese balls the size of half a golf ball), but the flavor explosion was intense. I highly recommend you try these. The corvina and shrimp ceviche appetizer was very good and big enough for 4 to enjoy. Another appetizer that I recommend. For the entrees we selected the branzino and the filet mignon specials. My sautéed brazino with capers in lemon sauce on top of capellini (my request, the special was served with mushroom risotto) was sooo good, I'm thinking this was the best dish I've had in a long time. The fish was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The pasta was incredible: all dente but with crispy edges (what? So awesomely good!). My hubby said his filet mignon was outstanding. The presentation was very pretty, actually; a cute medium Rare filet resting on a little hill of mash and asparagus. For dessert we opted for the crème brûlée (winner!) and the ice cream topped guava pastry ( which was ok but didn't wow). The service was top notch. The servers were professional and on the ball. Water and wine glasses never saw empty. Overall, a great unforgettable meal. I highly recommend.

Hidden Gem! Service is always outstanding! Super cute place a either a family dinner or date night. Risotto is always on point. We always order from the specials of the day. the specials whether they are of fish, seafood or meat they are always exceptional. Have had a variety of Their deserts and they are also always exceptional! Call and make reservations to make sure you get a table. You won't regret it! Worth every penny!!

Cute little Italian place, the waiters are amazing and so attentive! We had Carlos as our waiter and he was very good The osso bucco was delicious with the truffle risotto We also got the veal, it was okay I didn't care of it too much I wish I had room for dessert because the desserts looked amazing

I've never been here before and wow I have been missing out!!!! My team took me here to celebrate my promotion and I feel so spoiled! My friend Edith knows the restaurant well and they treated us like family from beginning to end. The owner Dover was so welcoming and friendly. He made some great recommendations. I can't wait to come back for my 25th anniversary dinner I'm a couple of weeks!! Thank you Dover for a great lunch and your staff is amazing!!!

I recently dined at this Italian restaurant and was blown away by the warm welcome and attentive service. The staff made us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. Food is delicious. Crab cakes were good , very authentic but very fishy tasting. Burrata and prosciutto were phenomenal, cheese had very creamy consistency which is how it should be , but hard to find. My veal and risotto were incredible. Would gladly come back with a smile on my face.. highly recommended.. I consider it one of the best if not the best Italian in Miami. Mom and pop hole in the wall.

I can eat here everyday and never get tired of it. This place is scrumptious. I absolutely am in love here. It's so close to home in a small plaza with an intimate setting. Its dimly lit and the menu although not large has some serious flavor. And the daily specials not listed on the menu will make your mouth drool. My family and I came for my birthday and I had been craving a simple dish of shrimp in a vodka sauce. There was nothing simple about my dish. It was delicious flavors dancing in my mouth. The sauce was life, the shrimp seasoned and grilled to perfection and the pasta was tender. If I was home I would've gladly licked the plate. No effs given. Let me get back to the beginning though. Our waiter was perfect eye candy for me and totally attentive. We had made reservations which I highly recommend to do so as the place was completely full within 10 minutes of opening. They started us off with complimentary warm bread with EVOO and red wine vinegar. The EVOO was so good I dipped the bread just in that alone. We ordered 2 bottled of red and it went fabulous with our starters and meals. We had the crab cake appetizer which over flowed with crab and a lobster croquetta. Our main dishes were mother had the brown sugar coated salmon ( one of their daily specials) brother had the veal marsala, and stepdad had the salmon with fettuccine. Noone spoke at our table till our dishes were completely done. All of us cleaned our plates. There was nothing more we could eat. These flavors have me feening for more. So now I'm ruined because now I must eat here a couple times a month to satisfy my craving. Come here and try some Italian with spanish influence dishes that will too feen for more!

Always heard great things about this Italian restaurant in Kendall but had never been. Service was phenomenal - everyone was very polite and helpful. Overall the food was really good - but definitely a little pricey for a restaurant in Kendall.

Came to Secreto for VDay ! Amazing amazing, food was so good. Had the vegetable lasagna which was recommended by our waiter. Staff was excellent and very helpful. Had the oxtail croquettes and guys Omgoodness, it's a must try. We had drinks and dessert of course. Very nice place for date night.

My favorite Italian place to go to in kendall. Love all their dishes. The specials are usually on point, dishes are fresh, not frozen. Food is authentic! Service is exceptional, almost feels as if you have your own personal waiter. The ambiance is quiet and can definitely be a great place for a romantic dinner. I visit at least once a month.

Secreto Restaurant is a small, very quaint, cozy restaurant. You need a reservation, is pricey, but the service , the atmosphere, and the food was worthwhile the trip! Specially since we have to drive 45-60 minutes to it! I highly recommend it!! Unfortunately, I didn't take a pic!

Another lovely evening celebrating our 24th wedding anniversary. It is apparent how well this team works with Dover at the helm. Although he wasn't in this evening, the management and staff knows how to provide exceptional customer service. There is constant attention to detail, and the menu is beautifully crafted and explained. Husband had the cream of mushroom soup, and the Ossobucco with a mushroom risotto. He said it was the best he had ever had. I went with the Filet Mignon with apricot glaze. The sweet and savory filet was cooked to perfection. Another spectacular meal. Dessert was lava cake, and a lovely crème brûlée presentation. Love celebrating special occasions with Secreto.

Oxtail croquettas, steak fillet, and the pear pasta were amazing !! Our server was great, very knowledgeable and great place for a date! We went for Valentine's Day. Will definitely recommend and come back

The service is exceptional, however the meal was quite poor. The bread service is a regular roll chewy nothing special. The lobster shrimp ceviche was awful, no flavor and obvious boiled shrimp used in recipe. There was no infusion of the pasión fruit flavors offered. My husband's entree, the special filet with blue cheese was Perfect temperature but again zero flavor, the nearby patron was overheard requesting oregano for his meal and complaining of flavor as well in his dish. Flavor was lacking all around. My veal Marsala had the Marsala wine flavor but the veal texture was off, unfortunately I threw up my meal within 40 minutes! The tiramisu was nothing special, store bought type dessert. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!

Not what I expected . I had the fig ravioli and it was undercooked . My husband had a steak with a guava sauce which was subpar . We had calamari and the oxtail croquetas . We also ordered a molten cake . Nothing to write home about . In my humble opinion I feel that the price is a little much for the quality .

This Italian restaurant is a staple. It's been around for a long time located in West Kendal. It makes a nice romantic place to go to or to celebrate any occasion. The service is good and very attentive. Their food is also good but just a tad bit on the pricey side but very well worth it. I will definitely return.

Wow what a hole in the wall! You could easily miss this place while driving but definitely do not skip out on it. Secreto is a cozy space serving Latin/Italian dishes. Everything was cooked to perfection & the flavor was exquisite! We also got the Calamari Jason and it was hand down some of the best calamari we've ever had. The service is what really stood out to me. They are very accommodating to your specific wants. Overall 10/10 I loved this place!

Food quality is out of this world I had the fettuccine, and I do not regret it. The service was excellent he was charismatic, and very clear with what he was stating, and he was also very polite. Can't say enough good things about this place. We first started with the lobster croquettes that were amazing. Actual chunks of lobster. And the sauce that it came with was delicious as well. I have the Special which was a pesto risotto with grilled shrimp. One of the best risotto I've ever had. The people were extremely nice as well. Great dining experience. Definitely recommend.

The food was amazing, the staff were very polite, patient, and attentive. The service was well paced and the ambiance was very nice. Overall one of the best Italian spots I've ever been to! I had the lobster ravioli and it had lots of lobster in it which was wonderful.

I recently dined at Secreto with my family to celebrate my daughter's birthday. While the service was good, unfortunately, the rest of our experience left a lot to be desired. Firstly, we found the plates to be overpriced for what we received. The portions were not very large, and the quality of the food did not justify the cost. My Filet Mignon was dry and not cooked to the specification I requested. Additionally, the shrimp we ordered were also overcooked, which was disappointing. To make matters worse, when we brought our own cake to celebrate my daughter's birthday, we were shocked to find that the restaurant charged us a $22 cake fee. We repeatedly told them that we wanted to cut the cake ourselves, but they insisted and charged us the unexpected cake fee. What was particularly frustrating was that they never once mentioned the fee to us before adding it to our bill. Overall, I was very disappointed with our experience at Secreto and would not recommend it to others. The high prices, subpar food, and unexpected cake fee left a sour taste in our mouths. I will be leaving a one-star review and will not be returning to this restaurant.

I'm not just being kind when I say this is the best Italian spot in all of Miami. I've been hearing good things for years but never went to try myself. I've been twice in the last month and I have been stunned each time. The service is impeccable. The staff is so informative and really just want you to have the best of it all. The veal ossobucco is incredible on top of the mushroom risotto. I'm drooling just thinking about it now. Their calamari is very lightly breaded topped with marinara and blue cheese. It's SO good. We were back and forth between appetizers so they brought us out a taster of their special for that night since we went with something else and we didn't order it.. that's customer service. Had the crab cakes the first time, didn't like them at all but that's the ONLY negative thing I could possibly say about Secreto. I will be excited to go back each and every time.

This little hole in the wall is located in a shopping center. You would never think such incredible food would come from here. The service was phenomenal. Definitely top notch! And the food? Absolutely delicious. The appetizer bread was soft and warm. To start, we ordered croquetas de langosta (lobster croquettes) and the burrata. Both were some of the specials of the day. The croquetas were flavorful and so creamy. One of the best i've ever had! And the burrata was paired with a blueberry sauce. Would've never thought it would pair so well together. Creative and delicious. As the main, I ordered the fettuccine promesca. You can taste the freshness in the pasta. Definitely did not come from a box. The crispy prosciutto added salty goodness. My family loved their meals as well. All in all, this place was such a pleasant surprise. Everyone left happily satisfied. Would recommend in a heartbeat!

This lovely little restaurant is a joy to visit. Last night, all the women in my family went to eat and laugh at this wonderful place. The servers are kind and attentive as well as knowledgeable. The space is small and intimate but there is a bustle in there while people eat and enjoy their time there. The food was wonderful and fresh. Is a small menu but watch out for the specials. Additionally, if there isn't anything on the menu to your liking, you can request anything you like with the ingredients they do have. Case in point, I was in the mood for a fettuccine with seafood and they gave it to me no questions asked no fuss. They did the same for my mother who needs special orders for her diet. Although they didn't do exactly as she asked, they did provide what she wanted to eat and she cleaned her plate! All in all we all enjoyed our meal, laughed, drank and they were most gracious and helpful. I highly recommend this gem in Kendall and at the same time, want to keep it to myself so it's never full enough for me to have to wait. Haha I wish them all the success in the world! They honestly work hard enough to deserve it.

Omg, I love this restaurant. Everything is delicious, and the service is exceptional. I'm from NY, and when I'm in Miami, I go at least three times before I come back home. I miss it already, but I will be back soon. This place is a hidden gem. Try it! You won't regret it.

Service was excellent, but food mediocre. It usually gets completely full in there bc it's not a large space. I just felt like the food lacked flavor and was underwhelming. Pasta dishes were not that great. I had the Fiochetti and the sauce was just way too heavy and unpleasant. There are only 2 Italian restaurants that are superb. And I've already reviewed them.

Secreto was very nice. Food was excellent. Service was wonderful, our waiter, Diego was super nice. All our food came out in time. Very nice restaurant for a great meal. Make a reservation because it does get very busy. Everyone at the restaurant was so nice and service was wonderful.

My wife had previously dinned at Secreto with her co-workers and today it was my first time for our anniversary at lunchtime. The restaurant is small but intimate. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. The servers immediately brought us hot and steaming bread and quickly took our entree order. During the whole meal, not once did I had to ask for more water, my glass was constantly filled and this is a service many restaurants now sorely lack! The risotto and the broccoli were outstanding! The chicken was delicious but a little dry. The celery soup did not sound appetizing but it turn out to be delicious (veggies can taste good!) For dessert we had the creme brûlée and the guava and cheese with ice cream and cream on top. Both desserts were delicious but the cream brûlée needed to be a little more firm in my opinion. We finished the meals with two delicious cups of espresso and a cortadito. Definitely looking to come back to sample other menu items. Excellent service, keep up the good work!

Overpriced neighborhood restaurant serves their own rendition of popular dishes from Italy. But it isn't true Italian. Most of the three stars go to the service crew. A solid "meh" for the ambiance. Not for me, anyhow.
