Secreto Kitchen & Bar Alpharetta

Hidden gem. Great food! Great cocktails. Good wine selection. We decided to go for a pre comedy show drink and ended up staying for dinner. I can’t believe we have never heard about this restaurant. It’s excellent.

Secreto is our hidden gem in Alpharetta! Don’t let the strip center facade fool you — once inside, it feels like a midtown spot and has quickly become one of our favorite date night destinations. The cocktails are excellent, and there’s a solid selection of beer, wine, and liquor. We especially love Sebastian, who’s been our server many times — and even when he isn’t, he always stops by to check in and make sure we’re taken care of. The fried chicken alone is worth the visit, but honestly, we’ve never had a bad dish here. Always a great experience.

My travel agency had a conference in Alpharetta and I was tasked with finding a restaurant for our team. And am I glad we found Secreto. From reservation to finish, everything was perfect. The service was outstanding. The food was so good!(Try the Roasted Red Pepper Crab Bisque! It was outstanding!) And the prices were so reasonable! If I ever find myself in Alpharetta again, I know where I will be! Thank you so much for having us!

If you want to avoid downtown Alpharetta and Avalon, this is a nice place to have drinks and/or dinner. I love the long bar, and the cocktails are always on point. I really enjoyed the Roasted Red Pepper Crab Bisque and the cornbread. My friend enjoyed what I think was Spinach and Crab (?) dip and the Shrimp-n-Grits. We were too full for dessert, so we had to pass.

Secretos is top-notch. We came here for my birthday a few years ago and this is now my birthday spot every year. The food and drinks are amazing. A few months ago, we were looking for a place to host a shower for our daughter( 50 to 60 people). I called and went to a lot a places that charged for the venue and food separately. I was thrilled when we reached out to Secreto's and we were able to have the shower there. No charge for the venue (we had the place to ourselves, during off hours of 1p-3p on a Saturday) and a reasonable minimum charge. Jonathan worked with us for a limited food menu, and one drink per guest, we provided drink tickets. We were able to bring our own cupcakes and cookies from a licensed vendor and we played games, while the host served hourderves then the meal. We wrapped it up within 2.5 hours. Yeah I know I said we reserved from 1p-3p. Leave some time to nudge people to the door. It can be hard to bring a nice time to an end. I would highly recommend checking Secretos out out for an event. ASK FOR JONATHAN! The resturant is very nice, there was plenty of space within and for parking and the cost was far less than most places. Baby shower, wedding shower, birthday party, family gathering or just a gathering with friends.

We enjoyed a great dining experience here. The food was really good, the service was very attentive, and it was an all around good evening. We started with the bang bang shrimp and it was really tasty. Our entrees were the fried chicken and shrimp & grits which were both very good. We also added the collard greens & cornbread sides which were fantastic (highly recommend you add those). We have no complaints, and our only suggestion would be more relaxing chairs. But that’s a minor consideration and definitely would not keep us from returning. We will be back because the food and service are fabulous!

This place is excellent. The food is amazing. The service was great. The drinks were perfect. The sound of the music was perfect to enjoy and have a conversation. My only problem is like all restaurants food prices have gone up so much! Just plan to spend a good bit of money.

Brussels sprout appetizer, pork chop and salmon plates. We had a great time on a date night. Great food, Great Service and a nice grown up atmosphere. We'll be back.
