Our day was made perfect by Iala and Acall! Our ceremony was absolutely perfect in every sense and truly MORE than we ever could have imagined between Iala’s presence and her ceremony for us! A all took some amazing photos and kept the energy UP! We stayed in Sedona a few days after our wedding and they were even able to get our photos in our hands before leaving to head back home! With the help of Isla @ Sedona Destination Weddings, we were able to pull off a beautiful celebration of our 25th wedding anniversary 12/1/24 by renewing our vows in Sedona. She graciously coordinated everything- from arranging the Pink Jeep tour company in providing 2 thrilling jeeps with exceptional drivers; officiant Aurora- who guided us through our ceremony as if she’d known us all our lives; and photographer Akal - who expertly posed us in front of the spectacular scenery of the unbelievably stunning red rock of Sedona! Working with this company was so incredibly easy, pricing was fair, and the experience of a lifetime!!! Highly recommend 100%!!

I cannot fathom the words to describe how lovely my wedding ceremony went thanks to Sedona Destintations. The owner, officiant, and photographer all went above and beyond. They really exceeded my expectations, for I can say my dreams have come true and to fruition. Never have I thought in a million years I would marry the love of my life on a vortex such as Lover's Knoll and have our chakras aligned at our ceremony. I didn't think it was possible to have a ceremony as such. I recommend speaking with Sedona Destintations if you are interested in unconventional wedding ceremonies. Any ceremony for that matter, but they have so many accommodations for many walks of life which is truly beautiful. They are so refreshing and will bring your dreams to life. I promise they will exceed your expectations and do everything they can to make sure your special day is phenomenal. All planning for the ceremony went beyond smooth, and all my anxieties vanished. My husband and I cannot thank this wonderful company enough. They are absolutely brilliant. Miracles really do happen. There are so many photos from our ceremony, I balled like a newborn when my husband and I recieved our USB drive. The quality of the images exceeded my expectations and I cannot thank the photographer enough, he did such a wonderful job capturing our special day and had a sense of humor which was amazing. I had a hard time picking the photos for this review, for there are so many to choose from that are so breathtaking. I adore each and every photo. My husband and I wanted a wedding experience that was spiritual and had the beautiful Sedona scenic mountains for our wedding ceremony site. The initial planning and up to the wedding day was effortless thanks to Iala Jaggs and Sedona Destination Weddings. Reverend Scott gave us the peaceful and meaningful ceremony including playing the native american flute which added a special touch. Our wedding site coordinator was very efficient and kept our little crowd well organized. The photography was amazing and I have already received rave reviews from family and friends I have shared our video keepsake and photographs in which we received promptly after wedding. I have already referred to two of my friends who are planning a Sedona wedding to contact Sedona Destination Weddings as we were so happy we chose them for our special day!

My husband and my self had married over 30'times. We had the most spectacular wedding with Sedona Destinations. It was overwhelming, beautiful, powerful, Spectacular. I you want to fully reconnect with your beloved this is the place. We are so grateful for the experience. We had flute music from Shaman, gong, lots of great Kodak moments included. My husband and I booked our elopement through Sedona Destination Weddings and everything was perfect! Getting married in the midst of a pandemic (June 5, 2020) was starting to be a little stressful for us, but we truly did not need to worry about a thing. We selected the Celtic Handfasting ceremony and we chose an evening ceremony at the Airport Vortex. I highly recommend booking your ceremony through Sedona Destination Weddings!

Sedona Destination Weddings was the perfect start to one of the most amazing days of our lives! We first visited Akal and Iala for a couples retreat 7 years prior and had the most amazing experience so it was only fitting to bring our families back for a Vow Renewal Ceremony overlooking the vortexes of Sedona with Akal officiating! Iala had all the details covered and made it a very easy process! It was a beautiful, magical and spiritual ceremony and I HIGHLY recommend it if your looking for any type of destination ceremony!

No. My mother chose to spread the ashes I was unaware of that as well. That was NOT something I wanted or even knew about. So no, Kasey did not ask you, my mother asked you! Get your facts straight. If spreading the ashes was not allowed then you guys should have said that then. Not now only after you've had a bad review. Bottom line is there are not any pictures worth framing. I'll be more than happy to show anyone the photos with sun spots, my husband blinking and no shots with my husband and I alone with the cliff in the background. Not one! Not one picture where the ceremony actually took place, the only ones we have, our backs are to the camera and Iala is in every single picture because there were only action shots taken with the priceless background. Aka the entire point of why we had the wedding at that location and we didn't get home with one framable picture. There was a previous post similar to mine from 2015, this tells me you guys haven't taken the reviews to better your company. You'd rather cover up the unhappiness by "refunding money if you don't post a bad review" or try to make your customer look bad by attacking them publicly. Way to go. You guys could invest money and train your photographers instead of investing all your time and money into your yelp reviews. No one from my family or my husbands family ordered pictures. So you must have given our photos out to someone who was not a guest at our wedding or this is a ball faced lie.

Everything from start to finish was a breeze, and our wedding was everything we wanted and more! The site was beautiful, the ceremony absolutely perfect, and the entire wedding team was so professional and helpful and made us feel entirely at ease. We received the pictures yesterday, and WOW, they are fantastic! The colors are so vivid! On a side note, we originally considered a sunset ceremony and were advised that the monsoon season could be a bit unpredictable, so we chose a morning ceremony. Sure enough, it poured later that afternoon! Very thankful we didn't have to trudge through the mud and rain! LOL! The whole experience was entirely stress-free working with them, and I would highly, highly recommend them for a truly unique and beautiful experience that you will remember for a lifetime!!

Our experience with Sedona Destination Weddings was simply outstanding, and we thank them for everything they did to make our wedding day the most special day of our lives. Iala and her team were amazing to work with from the moment we contacted them to talk about a wedding package. They were always very responsive to our questions, and Iala was simply amazing to work with when we became worried that the weather would make the original site we selected for the wedding less than optimal. The alternate location she suggested was beautiful and everything came together to make it the perfect moment in time. Reverend Yana was amazing, and the ceremony was absolutely magical; we could not have asked for a better officiant or a more magical ceremony. The team made sure to take care of everything we needed to make our day memorable and wonderful. They made everything so effortless to the point we didn't have to worry about anything. We had a magical elopement at Red rock crossing vortex right on the creek! Our efficient Scott was perfect and help make our day special and easy. The photographer and witness were awesome and a treat to have included in our special ceremony! The best wedding I could have ever asked for.

Amazing experience and I couldn't have chosen a better company or setting for our ceremony. Completely stress-free process working with them to coordinate our elopement in Sedona for August 2018. I reached out to them about a month before our trip to coordinate one of their elopement packages and they easily squeezed us into their schedule at our favorite location. Their provided officiant, witness, and photographer (Yana, Kenyon, and Stacy respectively) were phenomenal. The photos came out magnificent and the photographer, Stacy, was very talented and knew exactly the right spots to capture the beautiful sunset and mountain back drops in Sedona. We received the photos on CD via mail about a week after the ceremony. Yana was a magnificent officiant and she truly catered the ceremony to us. The whole experience was just spectacular and perfect for us. Thank you Sedona Destination Weddings for making our day so special. Would definitely recommend them for anyone organizing a wedding in the Sedona area.

I've wanted to review Sedona Destination Weddings since my wedding last July but could not find the words. I find myself getting the chills as I type. Nothing seemed to line up for our wedding. We found ourselves beyond stressed and I fell ill so we eloped in Sedona. One of our favorite places in the world. We eloped in July and arrived a few days early. Everyday we got thunder and lightning between 4-5, the time we were scheduled to marry. The weather called for thunder and lighting when we were to get married and it seemed to be guaranteed. The contract clearly stated we needed to find an indoor location for the wedding. We were staying at the Hilton and hoped to find a place there. But the devastation of coming to Sedona to marry inside. Argh, we could see bell rock from the window and it taunted us. We were told the chance of the wedding happening were low, but they would not cancel until last minute. Last minute we did receive a call asking if we were willing to try Huckabee instead of Bell Rock with the notion it may still be canceled. We said yes. When we arrived at Huckabee it was sprinkling. It was 3 minutes before and no one was there. We felt so anxious. Then everyone arrive. One witness jumped from her car to pray for the clouds to stop. I swear, they did. It's like they froze in place. Our officiant greeted us with Pink Floyd and George Carlin quotes. The other witness predicted our Dosha's to a T, something that actually benefitted us beyond the wedding. Everything was magic as we eloped. The air, the slight wind, the warmth, the colors, the team we were given. Though we were alone we felt like the world was watching. It felt as though the team knew us. It was perfect. The moment we finished the rain and lightning began. We are thankful for everything. Sedona Destination Weddings provided a service we refuse to believe we could have received anywhere else in the world. Thank you for the happiest hour of our lives! My husband and I eloped with one of Sedona Destination Weddings packages on Dec 30, 2016. We did the Crystal Vortex Package and it was AWESOME. We had such a special and unique experience and I haven't ever heard of a wedding service like it. Our whole crew (Scott, William and Aurora) were so kind, flexible and easy going - particularly since it was just the two of us, our 12 week old baby and our Pomeranian :) we had to improvise a lot through out the ceremony and everyone was so awesome about just making it work! We received our photos in the mail today and they are lovely! I saw other reviews complaining about the photos, but we were told up front they would be taken by an in-house photographer, not a professional. Our pictures are great! The scenery is beautiful and it captured the essence of our special day. I laughed and cried flipping through the photos. This was such a special day and I wouldn't have had it any other way. Huge thank you to Iala as well who got us all set up quickly when we booked the ceremony just a few weeks prior to arrival in Sedona! So helpful and kind. Thank you!

They were helpful, provided great ceremony options, and the ceremony itself was great. My only complaint is that I had asked about the photography and was told that their photographers have done hundreds of weddings. This may be true, but they only had point and click cameras, and now I have a CD full of photos that are poor quality and can't get good prints. I have memories of the day but I'm disappointed that I don't have a few nice photos.

Amazing from start to finish. My wife and I had been in contact with Iala for months who kept us apprised of all the details. We chose Lovers Knoll and couldn't have been happier. Our officiant was Akal and the Shaman ceremony was beautiful and captured the spirit we were looking for. Both Akal and Scot the photographer recognized our quirky nature and made the ceremony fun, but at the same time never lost sight of the importance of our big day and conducted the ceremony with respect for the old ways and nature which is what we had hoped for. We picked SDW because they were local and because we didn't have a huge budget for our wedding. BUT, we didn't expect that we would get such AWFUL pics. Most were off center. We had pics of the two of us and our matron of honor/grooms man. One of them was cut off most of the time. The photographer never offered to do pics in other places even though we had fantastic areas where we got married. He had a "signature photo" which we thought was kind of silly but went with. He spent about 10 minutes on it (which is a lot of time when we paid for an extra hour....) We got two and they were awful. We contacted the company and were basically told we paid for crap so we got crap!!!!! If you want good pics, have a friend or family member take the pics. We liked the officiant until we found out that not one person heard her except us. We have memories. But no pictures to go with them. Honestly, I am not picky. I really don't like my picture taken. But I don't have even one that I am proud enough to hang up as our "wedding photo".... The companies reaction is the worst part of it. They didn't even offer an apology. My wife gave a great review before we saw the pictures. I told her that we did that and that I would give a bad review. I wasn't asking for a full refund, just something to show that they stand behind their work. If you want proof of what I am talking about, respond to this review and I will give you examples!!!!!!

My wife and I were married Sept 2016. We chose Sedona Destination Weddings for our ceremony. Everything seemed fine until the day of the wedding. The photographer arrived late and the priestess arrived even later. The priestess insisted we have the ceremony in the sun instead of shaded area. All of our guests, as well as myself and bride-to-be were sweltering (it was 83 degrees). Our second indication that something was off was when the photographer asked the priestess if he had the correct setting on the camera (???!!). Most of the photos had us squinting due to the sun. My eyes were watering from it. What should have been a joyous occasion, turned out to be physically uncomfortable. The photographer took photos from the worst angles, some photos had the back of my head. He also didn't take any photos of the wedding party together. The sun played a factor also in the quality of the photos, many being washed out. After having received the CD of photos in October, we managed to scrounge a few decent ones (the few that were actually taken in the shaded area) and fixed a few others in Photoshop to correct exposure. I wrote to Sedona Destination Weddings about the issues. Never received an email back. Very poor customer service to not even acknowledge my issues.
