Sedona Taphouse Starts Pouring in Germantown - Eater Nashville

"Virginia-based restaurant and bar Sedona Taphouse opened its doors earlier today. Located at 1120 3rd Ave. North in the ground floor of the Broadstone Germantown apartment complex, the casual mini-chain, which currently has nine locations and another four on the way, serves up a broad menu of typical American fare, with the main attraction being its deep tap and by-the-bottle beer list." - Matt Rogers

The gluten free options is what drew me to Sedona and I was very pleased! We were welcomed with authentic smiles and there was no wait. Our waiter Austin was amazing, very tentative and professional. The food and drinks were good as well with reasonable prices (happy hour). Definitely worth and will go back. Thanks for a pleasant experience and an atmosphere to unwind.

Great food. Helpful and friendly staff. Our waitress knew the menu well. She was able to tell us what ingredients were used to make the food so delicious.

Google
I am so happy I decided to stop in! The people here are so nice! I felt so welcomed and at least 3 people said thank you and smiled at me as I was leaving! Wonderful service! Keyata took great care of me! She was attentive and kind. Drinks and food were amazing as well! I will come back next time I am in town!

Google
Oh my gosh the food and service were incredible!! Krysten and Christian were incredible and their recommendations were spot on. The only thing I will say is that when they say spicy, they mean it! 😅 even with my mouth being on fire, I can’t recommend the bacon wrapped jalapeños enough. The bruschetta is to DIE for. Can’t wait to come back!!!

Google
Friendly staff, good menu, serving sizes are small, but other than that, would recommend. Pictures is an omelette. The whole meal took up less than half the plate.

Google
The service was fast and very good. Erica was my waitress and she is great. At the entrance they were friendly and surprisingly fast for a Saturday night. The food arrived quickly, hot and delicious. 10/10

Google
Very pretty place. Greeted immediately upon entering. Was seated right away - on Sunday evening around 6pm. Staff all very attentive and friendly. Food was good for the most part - I didn’t love the Brussel sprouts. They were on the mushy side - where I like them crispier. Almost had a frozen taste. The chicken Marsala was good, as was the Ny strip steak. They do have an uncovered, outdoor patio area. It was raining when we went, so we sat inside.

Google
Reasonably priced and great atmosphere. The food came out hot and the portions were good. Our server was exceptional at making us feel right at home.

Yelp
We were delighted that Sedona Taphouse was able to seat us after we attended a play at the Looby Center. We began with a toast to my niece who directed the play. Then I had truffle fries and Southwest smoky wings. Perfect meal for late night. The staff kindly allowed our celebration without rushing us out. We love the beautiful space for our special occasions.

Yelp
I don't understand the higher reviews for this place in any way, shape or form. We had been to this place a couple years ago & it wasn't memorable but fine for a lunch. We were in the area & decided to stop in for lunch. From the moment we walked in, staff was unprofessional and seemingly confused. Right after we were seated, 2 employees began having a inappropriate conversation (directly behind us) regarding whose table was whose, and bad mouthing their other employees. The waiter we got had no clue what was going on in general. We ordered the stuffed shrimp & the chicken parm. When they came, nothing looked appealing or fresh. The broccoli was very old, brown, inedible and clearly microwaved as well as the mashed potatoes were cold inside and also, clearly microwaved. Just appalling given the prices they charge. Both my husband and I only ate the protein and left the sides. Had to flag our waiter down for refills and finally, to get the check to get the H out of there. This place is low class. We didn't complain about our food, as it was clear the way this "restaurant" was run, that we wouldn't get a different food result if remade. Not shockingly enough, when our waiter finally brought the check and took the food away- he didn't notice or mention we left nearly all of it. Wouldn't come here again if you paid me.

Yelp
I came here for dinner with my girl trip. There was no line for waiting and the waiter was fantastic! (Chase I think was his name). I ordered a local IPA and the salmon sliders with truffle fries and the delicious aioli sauces. My pals ordered a cocktail. The space had photos of Sedona (love that place) and cozy modern vibes. We would definitely come back to this location. Paid parking lot is across the street and they had a large patio with a lovely fire pit. It was a cooler evening so we sat inside.

Yelp
That Devil's Pass pasta was a clean 10/10! A must try if you like creamy, hearty pastas and it's so flavorful. I'd order it just for takeout. I didn't absolutely love the crab stuffed mushrooms but they were a good choice as a light starter. Went with a group for lunch and the vibes were fitting, kinda has a sports bar/cute dinner spot type of feel.

Yelp
Sedona Taphouse in Nashville is a fantastic spot with a really cool atmosphere. It's very kid-friendly, making it a perfect choice for a family outing--we brought the whole family and felt completely at ease. The food was very good, with a great selection of dishes to suit everyone's taste. The cocktail options were also impressive, adding to the experience for the adults. Overall, it's a low-key, welcoming place that's both relaxed and family-appropriate. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Service was friendly. Our waiter was very patient and attentive. Food was seasoned and prepared well! Booth and high rise tables available. There's a nice fireplace outside with outdoor seating available as well.

Chris S.

Yelp
Food and decor made me happy. Server was indifferent about being at work that day. Normally a large tipper. Not so much that day.

Yelp
I have loved this place since the first time I went to it. I understand it is a chain, but that doesn't change my affection for it. My husband and I had our first official date here three years ago. The food and service are usually good, and I love their drinks! I think the go-to's I enjoy are their pasta dishes, their margarita flights (they do not do these anymore, but they were kind to let me have it on the latest visit even though it is not on the menu), and they have really good burgers. Literally, there is nothing you can go wrong with. Parking is tricking. You have to find it to do it. Usually, I do street parking, but they do have a couple of paid lots nearby that are convenient. Either way, the trouble for parking is worth it for the restaurant and its experience.

Yelp
Let's dive in: we parked in the garage attached to the building 90 mins free I believe. From looks to cleanliness 10/10. Love the ambiance of the restaurant down to the lighting and decor. Our food was good, really enjoyed the spicy Thai shrimp and lemonade. Everything else was okay nothing negative.
google avatar

QuyDao T.

Yelp
Service and food were excellent! Went to dinner with a group of friends and we ordered a lot of appetizers and all were delicious: Nachos, wings, bacon wrapped jalapeños and Thai spicy shrimp! For an entree, I ordered the Italiano flatbread which was a perfect portion/serving size after having a sampling of all the apps. Definitely a great place to meet up with friends and enjoy good food and drinks. It's also worth mentioning that they have a lot of Gluten free options to choose from which was one of the main reasons why we chose this place.
google avatar

Laura S.

Yelp
Came here for Happy Hour drinks and food. We sat outside on the large patio and had great service. The Spicy Thai Shrimp was really good, as was the Goat Cheese + Basil Flatbread. My only complaint is that the beers that my husband and I got tasted off, like the tap lines need to be cleaned. I would definitely come back but would not order beer here.

Yelp
I recently visited Sedona Taphouse for the second time, looking forward to another pleasant dining experience. However, the start was a bit rocky. After being seated, my party and I waited over 10 minutes without being greeted by our server. The restaurant was moderately busy but far from slammed, which made the delay more noticeable. Thankfully, the General Manager noticed our situation and came over to greet us. She was incredibly kind and welcoming, and without us even asking, she comped two appetizers to make up for the delay. Her friendliness turned what could have been a poor experience into a more positive one. Once we placed our drink and food orders, the service improved significantly. The margaritas we ordered were excellent, and the food arrived quickly and hot. I had no complaints about the speed of service once our orders were in. The ambiance and layout of Sedona Taphouse felt clean and organized, which added to the overall dining experience. It's a comfortable place to relax and enjoy a meal. From other reviews and my own experience, it seems Sedona Taphouse is well-loved by many. People appreciate their pasta dishes, burgers, and previously offered margarita flights. Even though the flights are no longer on the menu, the staff was accommodating and recreated them for a loyal customer, which speaks volumes about their service.

Yelp
Yelp likes this restaurant located in the Germantown neighborhood of Nashville so we gave it a try. The Sedona theme is displayed with the 'sandstone and sunsets' photos on the wall. Other than that, it's looks like an upscale, casual restaurant. They serve burgers, steaks, pasta and have a bunch of rotating beer taps. I couldn't pass up a burger so I ordered the hangover burger. The burger was cooked "well". I ordered it "medium". It was still good. The truffle fries where delicious, though. They were cooked perfectly! Our server was in training. She was sweet but I could tell she was inexperienced and nervous.
google avatar

Brittany M.

Yelp
Parking used to be better I could've swore they had valet. The food is great service is good as well. The crab cakes and stuffed crab mushrooms kind of had shells in them. I thought I was going to crack my tooth I wasted my food last night. The salmon and truffle fries were good and I had a strawberry Don Julio lemon drop

Yelp
We finally tried Sedona Taphouse, and I believe we have found our new favorite place in Nashville! Half of our family has a gluten allergy, and Sedona Tap House delivered phenomenally! The staff is amazing. Everyone we met was super hospitable, knowledgeable, and thorough. We were able to speak with them about their allergy precautions. When an allergy is presented to them, they stated they are hyper focused to ensure they prepare the food properly. They have a dedicated fryer and they use gluten free breading. Gluten free food we tried: Their crispy chicken sammich!!!! It has to be the best we ever had! But then they hit us with the crab stuffed shrimp! The ribeye was seasoned and prepared perfectly! The only gluteny goodness item I had was The French Quarter. This pasta dish was absolutely amazing! Each bite was perfectly balanced. The prices are better than most. The atmosphere is pleasant and the seating is comfortable. Parking is super easy with the garage next door.

Yelp
Nice service, food delicious especially the pasta dish and plenty for your buck. Satisfied with the Ice Tea.

Yelp
Every time we met I fall in love with the wonderful people that work here If you haven't been, please go to- these people work their tails off! Wonderful food! Amazing atmosphere! The heart is the staff and how they work together to create a happy fun experience - chef's

Yelp
Beautifully decorated. Staff was very welcoming and engaging. Ordered the flat iron steak with roasted brussel sprouts and fruit, hubby ordered the same except with fries and fruit. We also ordered the French press coffee. Server was Collin (sp?) Missed our wonderful host's name but he should go unrecognized as he was a fantastic first impression! The food was amazing! Highly recommend!

Eva M.

Yelp
You just hired a "bartender" who was out of her mind high. Vaping in plain site and back turned to guests entire time letting other bartender do all the work! Cutting fruit with no gloves on then blew on her hand cuz she had a cut. She was oblivious to any of her surroundings and my friend and I have gone in there so many times and locals. Jake was awesome though and food was amazing as usual!!! Cheers to the cooks and manager was very kind and attentive.
google avatar

Sharon M.

Yelp
Great service. I had wine and nachos which were delicious. My friend had wine and a salad and finished it all. We went around 1pm and the restaurant was not crowded so we did not have to compete with other tables for service.
google avatar

Kristina T.

Yelp
What a beautiful place. Our server was training a new employee and they both were great!! I had a Pink Lemonade Shandy and it was crisp and refreshing. I ordered their Kobe Beef Sliders with a side of their truffle fries. Wow was I impressed! Such great flavors in the burger and those truffle fries!!! I highly recommend those!! My only regret is we didn't find this place sooner as they seem to have a great happy hour!
google avatar

Yelp
THIS PLACE is a Vibe! I loved the ambiance as it was classy and very Sedona-esqe. Service was pretty standard, and really fast, I felt that I didn't have to wait too long. Food was really great. I thoroughly enjoyed my salmon sliders and the amazing brussel sprouts. Also shout out to that prickly lemonade, AMAZING.
google avatar

Yelp
Chain feel but great indoor seating. Food was great and our waitress was very friendly and attentive. Great last minute find after restaurant across the street was too busy.

Madison E.

Yelp
Server was very sweet and attentive! Food was delicious! Crab flatbread is a must! The filet was cooked to the right temp. And the honey buttered bread is amazing, my husband really enjoyed his salmon and asparagus and garlic potatoes, I would visit if you are in the area!

Yelp
A great evening at Sedona Taphouse ! First off this place had a great upbeat atmosphere. We were able to walk in and be seated right away by a very pleasant hostess. We asked for a high top and they were able to accommodate. Our waitress, Kristy, was amazing. She immediately brought us water ( I love that) then our drinks. It took us a while to order as we couldn't decide from their extensive menu. We decided on a goat cheese bruschetta as an appetizer, it was delish! We then went on to entrees, I had the Devils Pass Pasta, it was amazing ! So fresh and flavored! My date ordered to chopped Gorgonzola salad with steak. It was also delicious- they topped it with an entire beautifully cooked steak. We really enjoyed our evening, between the service, which was personable and perfect, and the food, it was a great night. If ever in the area this would be a regular spot for sure. Really well done !

Yelp
Food and beer were fine. Wagyu sliders were tasty but overcooked; if you like well done you'll love them. Steak tacos were tasty. We were there during a shift change, and apparently neither wanted to serve us in transition (I assume split tips made us half the importance or they just didn't care). Great looking place with eclectic crowd. I thought the place had a lot of promise but I don't plan on returning. I live in Nash.

Yelp
Excellent food and service. Great ambience. Good home cooked food We ate there twice during our week in Nashville Highly recommend

Yelp
First I just want to say, I loved the food!! I had my birthday here this year and it was so fun, super reasonable with the price of the room and super kind! I would definitely recommend if you are planning a party there though to go look at the room beforehand, which thankfully we did, because the amount of people determines drastically how the tables are put together. The room was so nice and the food was absolutely delicious! The service was lovely as well with all of the staff being so kind and upbeat! So many options that you can't go wrong getting!

Yelp
First time in Nashville, and The Sedona Taphouse was amongst the recommendations for dinner. The staff couldn't have been more friendly, and they were extremely helpful and knowledgeable of the offerings. Our server, Tamara, was outstanding!!! My wife started with a t2t lemon basil martini (a dollar of which is donated to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation), and it was delicious!! She then ordered Chuckawalla Chicken, which topped with goat cheese and sun-dried tomatoes. I ordered the Chicken Marsala, which was topped by a slightly sweet Marsala sauce. Both dishes were outstanding!!! The Sedona Taphouse is a must stop!!
google avatar

Kathy S.

Yelp
Great food. We placed a large order for takeout and was very happy with the service received

Kyle S.

Yelp
Nice looking place in an off-the-beaten path location of Nash. We had an amazing starter (the bruschetta) and two good entrees. The service was nothing remarkable but fine, the food was good. At the price-mark, in this town - I would recommend.

Yelp
We had just landed in Nashville, arrived at our hotel and wanted a quick bite. This was walking distance, so we tried it and we're not disappointed. All our drinks were delicious which included the Lemon Drop, White Sangria, and Margarita. My brother in law had a sour beer which he loved. Appetizers were delicious, which included the goat cheese jam bruschetta, slides, and fish tacos. Lastly, the service was great! Our waitress knew the menu and her recommendations were on point! Definitely headed back to this place if we visit again!
google avatar

Sam B.

Yelp
Service was very fast and food was delicious. For meals we ordered the dine out for charity entrees which were half priced on Mondays. They were super delicious and flavorful. However, it seemed like the half priced portion was different than the dinner portion. It was pretty small and I was still hungry after. I got the overall impression they wanted to rush us out and seemed annoyed with our presence which was a bit of a turn off too.

Yelp
Have wanted to try this place for a while now. I came last night with my sister and friends and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. One of our friends has a gluten allergy and this was a perfect restaurant for that. Lots of GF options. The weather was so nice we decided to eat outside. They had the fireplace going and dogs are welcomed. Our waitress was friendly and accommodating. We ordered the crab stuffed mushrooms and truffle fries to start. The garlic aioli that's served with fries was amazing and it wasn't overly garlicky. The crab stuffed mushrooms were cooked and seasoned to perfection. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their entrees (list below). From the time we arrived until the time we left everyone spoke highly of Sedona. We will definitely be back. Entrées ordered: 1) Crab stuffed shrimp with garlic mash potatoes and spinach 2) BBQ Chicken flatbread 3) Crab cake Sliders The drinks we ordered were: 1)White Sangria - couldn't taste alcohol, tasted more like a sweet mix drink 2)Pomegranate blueberry martini -very delicious drink but you couldn't taste the alcohol 3)Red Rock -couldn't taste alcohol, it was a good drink but for the price it tasted like a virgin drink 4)Mexican Mule - very delicious would totally recommend I couldn't give my rating a 5 due to the drinks; however, I still recommend this restaurant. Perfect for date nights and groups.

Kellie P.

Yelp
The food was sooooooo good! The stuffed mushrooms were by far the best thing we tasted. And we sat right down every time we've been
google avatar

Yelp
I feel like Sedona Taphouse is one of the most underaged restaurants in Nashville! It's a small chain but feels local and has delicious food. The service is superb and the food and drinks are delicious. Did I mention they have a happy hour Sunday through Saturday? Lastly , the can accommodate large parties!
google avatar

Druscilla F.

Yelp
Those Brussel sprouts had no business being that good!!! I didn't even get to take a picture! I live right around the corner from them so they will be on my pregnancy craving list. The staff was super nice food came out quick and was delicious

Yelp
OMG!!!! Amazing food, service, and Ambiance. My waiter was soooo sweet and patient with me. The food was filled with so much flavor and seasoning. I got the crab stuffed mushrooms TWICE!! as my starter 10/10 highly recommend you get it and I tried the TPH burger 9/10 the house sauce was very good and tasty. For dessert I ended it off with getting the salted caramel cheesecake the HIGHLIGHT OF THE NIGHT!! 10/10 highly recommend. Even the drinks were delicious!!!

Yelp
Underwhelmed to say the least. I was super excited to come here and brought my friends before a concert. We made reservations for 6pm. We got there on time, the restaurant seemed fairly empty, and we still waited 20+ minutes with no explanation. I worked in the restaurant business for years ... communication is key. There was none. Sat and ordered waters while we looked or tried to look at the menu. When the server came back we asked about beer on tap to which she responded to use the QR code. Uh okay. So we did. Or tried. Doesn't work. Asked her again and she said that's all they had for the menu- so we could look online. Great customer service. Drinks took forever. Food came in a decent time. My steak was way undercooked but I didn't even bother bc everything else seemed like an inconvenience. Food was decent at best. My fav item on the table were the truffle fries.
google avatar

Leah D.

Yelp
Lots of options on the menu including gluten free choices. Burgers, steaks, salads, and many more food items. We didn't see designated parking, but we found a side road with a spot.
google avatar

Kim N.

Yelp
Great atmosphere. Wonderful service and bartenders. Reasonable prices. Ordered the chuckawalla chicken and ribeye. My husband had the Brussel sprouts which were amazing. We both had the mashed potatoes which were okay. I had a corn side that was good. He loved his chicken but I thought the ribeye was the worst I had had in a while. Don't offer a poor $37 ribeye when you can offer one for higher and give customers a better cut of meat. It was so chewy. Ruined the dinner for me. Would return for other food but not the steak
google avatar

Asia A.

Yelp
Oh man! This place is casually, yet beautifully decorated, and more importantly... Delicious!!!! I can't wait to come back. Our meal was so divine, I can't wait to try more items on the menu! Why not a 5 star? The service. It wasn't too busy, however you could tell the servers were short staffed, so we were left waiting and wanting more times than desired. I felt bad for them, because they were friendly and helpful. This won't keep me away in the future though. I will 100% be back!

Yelp
My girlfriend and I decided to take her Dad out to Sedona Taphouse while we were in Nashville for lunch. We were one of the first customers there when they opened at 11:30. I ordered the southwest chicken salad which was a recommendation by our waitress. It was delicious and filling! The service was quick and everyone from the hostess to our waitress provided great customer service. I will return the next time I'm in Nashville.
google avatar

Yelp
Gluten free (GF), vegetarian (Veg) , & vegans (V) rejoice- Sedona Taphouse's menu is labeled accordingly, & there are sooo many options. We sat on the patio, which is expansive & has a cozy evening vibe. Unfortunately the service was very poor. The server took a while to greet us initially, did not hear/remember our appetizer order, & hardly checked on us. We had to ask another server to find our server so we could pay & leave. The food didn't blow us away, but it tasted fresh & was filling. We felt that the serving size of the sides was small for $14 and $16 plates. We walked, but it looked like parking would be difficult if you drive. All in all, we won't be rushing back for experience #2, but it's great to know there is a gluten free spot that serves comfort food.
google avatar

Curtis M.

Yelp
Really good. Our server was actually fantastic, something that is hard to come by these days. Cool atmosphere with pictures that are from Sedona, AZ. The food was good, I got the devils pass and I'd recommend it to anyone. No complaints about this place at all, just wouldn't put it in my 5 star category.

Misty L.

Yelp
From the moment I walked in I knew that I had made a mistake! The only reason why I stayed is because we paid a little over $17 to park across the street! The girls at the hostess table were very unfriendly. One of them looked me up and down but did not say one word. After waiting about 10 or so minutes for the waitress that same girl finally walked over to our table to take our drink order. When it was time to place our order she just walked to our table and stood there. She didn't say one word to us! Our food came out pretty fast and it was hot. The portion of Brussels was very small! We had to flag down the waitress to give us our check after realizing that she wasn't trying to give it to us. Then we practically had to beg her to take the payment. They are obviously understaffed and the staff are doing multiple jobs: I will not be back... Ever!

Yelp
Hello Date Night! This restaurant is in the Germantown area of Nashville so, the area has a nice vibe. The atmosphere and ambience Sedona is nice and cool! You can sit at the bar and socialize with others or you can get a table with comfortable seats. That's right the seats have PADDING not the hard metal chairs. It's hard to be romantic when your butt hurts but, I digress. The food was good, I ordered the Roman Parmesan Crusted Chicken and my wife ordered the Crab Stuffed Shrimp. My chicken was over cooked and hard on the edges so, this is reason I did not give them a five. On the other hand, my wife stuffed shrimp was Awesome! They were cooked to perfection and the crab stuffing had a great flavor. I could have told my waitress about my food and I feel they would have made the dish over. However, I am not a fan of sending my food back and it's awkward when everyone else is eating and your waiting for you food. For cocktails, I had a smoked old fashion with Jefferson Reserve which was good and my wife had the Havana Coconut martini. She say it was very good and considering she finished her drink it must have been. She is a light weight and I usually have to finish her drink. Lol! Overall we were satisfied and we will be back!

Yelp
Staff was great. From the hostess to the bartender to the waitress, they were friendly and helpful. The food was eh. It took a while, they were crowded, and it came out cold. My sliders were overcooked and dry. A friend's filet was so cold the seasoned butter they put on a hot steak never melted so it was just a glob of butter s cold steak. They completely whiffed on one our group's meal, delivering it with the appetizers. I might go back but I'd go in with lower expectations.

Yelp
Loved the food and drinks! It was my friend's birthday and we wanted to get together for dinner. A party of 5, we were easily accommodated. The service was excellent. I ordered pasta and I left nothing on the plate. It was so delicious. On mondays they do charity promotions. One friend got the steak and was satisfied with the portion size. Another friend got the chicken and had to order the nachos also. The drinks were also really good. I got a mule. I could have definitely had another if I drink have plans afterwards. Everyone enjoyed the food, drinks, and service. They took pics for us making sure to get the right angle to commemorate my friend's birthday. I can't wait to go back.
