Today I tried this place for the first time. It's set up like a cafeteria where you order your food at a counter. The 1st thing is the menu is on the wall with extremely small writing. It makes it hard to determine what you want before you get to the register. I ordered The Woodward. It comes out with an omelet. I don't eat eggs. The description does not mention eggs at all. I inquired. They said it comes with eggs because it's in the scrambled section. I asked for a different item. They said no because it's not their fault that I read it wrong. Aside from that poor customer service from my people that I came to support, it was simply average and cafeteria like. I wish I would have read the reviews 1st, because now I'm reading the extremely unprofessional responses from the company and I would have never come. A worker came to the tables to ask how we were doing. We said not good. The server shrugged their shoulders and walked away. SIMPLY DISTASTEFUL AND HORRID!!! Do better. That's all. Do better. This was beyond an unpleasant experience after spending $60 for breakfast.

What a find! I love discovering new spots, and this one hit the jackpot near midtown and Henry Ford Hospital area. The setup is a cool mix of casual and comfortable. You order at the counter and then your food and drinks are brought right to your table. Plus, they offer cocktails! Modern soul at it's finest.

I was fortunate to find this hidden gem. I was the first customer on Friday, September 4 and I felt love and warmth as soon as I walked in the door. I inquired about the history and found they opened almost in the midst of COVID and experienced a few struggles. The salmon croquette patties were so flavorful. The honey biscuit and truffles fries were top notch. The dine-in service was wonderful. Thank you, See You Tomorrow for the fantastic food and the warmth. See you all soon for lunch. (Two employees 😊)

Update: what? Of course the waffle you just made would be perfect and delicious for you lol. Also, there are plenty of delicious foods with natural dark brown colors. This feels like you’re projecting and turning into something it isn’t. This is just food… that’s it. I already said below that it probably is not typical of what you usually serve, but seeing how you behave here, I’ll be sure not to return. My food might get played with if I do. I agree with the others who say that you can’t leave an honest comment without the owners taking things personally, even though my comment was clearly kind. Use the comments to improve. If you want to know what a real waffle tastes like, go to Original House. Their pancakes and waffles are delicious 😋 the color is very deep/rich and dark brown too, in case you have something to say about that again. And I’ve lowered it to one star lol. Update: Thank you for your response, but if you look at my picture vs the pictures of happier customers, the waffle is definitely overcooked and it wasn’t soft in the middle for me. I am sure it is was just a bad batch during a rush, not typical of your restaurant’s quality. Original: The waffle was overcooked/burnt and crunchy, but the flavor was good. The chicken was delicious!!

So glad I finally tried this place out!!! Excellent food and experience!!! I loved the French toast with bacon and my friend loved the Julian sandwich. It was a chicken sandwich that was “so well balanced you could tell a chef crafted it.” He kept saying WOW while eating it and that the chicken was beautifully marinated. It usually comes on a croissant, but he asked for it with a French baguette which they substituted with no problem. Very welcoming and friendly staff too. I will definitely be back to support this business!!! :)

Food: I loved what I got, I had the chicken wings and fries and the seasoning of the chicken had me in a chokehold ! Its like a honey bbq dry flavoring and the biscuit was soft with honey over it. I loved my seasoned potatoes, everything tasted good! I tried my friends waffle and that was good as well, it was mixed with cinnamon which add more flavor! The portion was nice for a 15$ or so plate, fountain drink options are pretty good too. Service: Amazing ! We were greeted, the chef greeted us even, we got our food fast as well and they boxed our food for us which was a plus star for this restaurant! Atmosphere: This spot is nice and spacious, they have outside seating, the lighting can be a lil crazy if you go early, its mainly windows so lots of sunlight. Temperature inside was find and they have a clean bathroom !

From the moment you step into See You Tomorrow, you can feel the heart and soul that only a true family-owned restaurant can offer. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and full of Detroit charm — it feels like walking into a friend’s home rather than a restaurant. The food? Absolutely phenomenal. Every dish bursts with flavor and care. You can tell the recipes have been passed down and perfected over generations — comforting, soulful, and beautifully presented. The chicken and waffles is a must-try, and their biscuits are nothing short of heavenly. The staff treats you like family from start to finish — attentive without being overbearing, genuinely kind, and clearly proud of what they do. It’s rare to find a place where hospitality feels so authentic. Whether you’re looking for a cozy dinner spot, a place to celebrate, or just somewhere that makes you feel at home, See You Tomorrow is it. Detroit is lucky to have this gem — I can’t wait to come back again (and again).

Brought my wife here straight feom the airport for her visit to Detroit. I chose this place bc Ive passed by numerous times, and it was a Saturday and we could get in post haste. Its small but cute inside, music level was a tad loud, and everyone was friendly and helpful. Ordered By Land and By Sea for my wife, and I had chicken and waffles. She also had orange juice and I had hoped it would be fresh orange juice, or a local company's 🤷🏽‍♀️ I liked my waffles a little more than my chicken but overall I had a satisfying meal. My wife liked her beef, her potatoes, and her kale. The salmon unfortunately was dry and bland. We both had a fork full and it was a wrap, which sucked bc that was the main thing she wanted. Overall good experience and the rest of the menu looks like we may try it again on her next visit here
