Seek And Find Consignments

Please do not have fish tanks if you are not going to properly maintain them. Every time I come in here, your fish tanks are filthy and there’s dead or ill fish. It’s to a point where I don’t want to shop there because the fish tanks make me too sad. Otherwise, beautiful selection but prices are a little high.

My mother in law was cussed out and yelled out by a worker and the owner over asking about the difference in prices for the same item.They threatened to call the cops and wanted to ban her and my sister in law over asking a question. She has been going there for years. Yesterday's treatment is completely uncalled for! Do not go there unless you want to verbally assaulted.

We stumbled across this shop by chance and loved it! Went home and raved about it to our family, even sent them a picture of a piece we liked that they could get us as a Christmas gift. We were so excited when they said they were making the trip to visit the shop. Our excitement, however, turned to horror when they came back and told us that, after just a few minutes in the store, they'd found themselves in an altercation with the owner. Apparently he rudely accosted them over concerns that they might bump into things with a wagon they were using to transport the baby and the whole thing escalated to him screaming a profanity laden tirade at them, throwing them out of the store, and even following them into the parking lot threatening to call the cops on them! We had just been there earlier that day and made a purchase, with plans to come back and get more but that's not going to happen now that our family has been treated so abominably! We had seen reviews about others having similar experiences with the owner and clearly didn't take them as seriously as we should have. We will not be back and we hope this review will spare others a similar experience!

Unique, nice quality & pretty items. They have fair prices and excellent service. Ken is the best. We’ve snagged quite a few different things from here and couldn’t be more happy!

My mother found 3 items, all the same, but priced differently and not because of the dates. Asking why this was the case made the clerk and owner scream profanities, threaten to call the cops, and ban them from the store.

Love this store! Selection, variety, PRICES! If you like antiques, collectibles, furniture, miscellaneous decor....it's all right here.

Lots of good stuff to find here. Some of the prices were a little higher than I would have expected, but some of the items were quite nice. I was able to find a few takeaways, at good prices. The state of the shop was a bit slipshod; which made shopping a bit confusing.

Your new commercial is defiant and ugly. You should be ashamed of yourselves. You mock the lives of folks in distress and then mock folks who received the covid shot. You are truly disgusting.

Seek and Find is the BEST PLACE to consign with. Ken is very knowledgeable about all things and their value. I'm always happy with the prices he puts on my items. Very fair. I love all the staff. Truly a patriotic business. I love looking at all they have. They have a very quick turnover on new items. That says it all! This place is great all around. I have no complaints whatsoeve! Owner is extremely rude and will snap off at the slightest question. He also doesn't listen well so while he is busy cussing and yelling, he isn't even addressing the question but don't dare try to clarify, as he will tell you to shut up & that YOU are rude. He even put his hand in my face while doing so. I could go on but just look at his reviews, it happens frequently. Bro needs some anger management coping skills.

The owner was very unprofessional and flat out rude to my aunt when she asked how much a picture frame was that had no tag on it. He started yelling at her in front of everyone for no reason and told her to put that picture back where she found it. DO NOT SHOP HERE!!! He doesn't deserve ANY business for acting like this!!!!!!

This man came at my family and I because we used a wagon that was at the front door. He could have spoke to us in a much nicer way. We would have understood if he had said it nicely. Instead he cursed and yelled at us. This man has a problem. Please if you have consigned with him, take it back and go else where or sell yourself. All we did was use a wagon. We did not hit any furniture. We would not have said anything if he had spoke in a nicer way. I went back in and asked why this got so out of control,and he lost his mind. Please spend NO money here. I will spread this far and wide. Rude is an understatement. What comes around goes around?

I love taking consignments here. The owner Ken, is very knowledgeable and up to date on the best selling prices to put on the items. I also love buying there because of the wide range of merchandise and styles available. From vintage antiques to modern and contemporary, mid century modern, Just take my time looking around the extensive collection of merchandise he has on consignment from patio furniture and outdoor accessories to formal 18th century dinning and decor and everything in between. Some things are even new, other items always in good shape. It is not a junk shop it is where you can go for really nice things at prices a lot less than retail. An overall good place to check out when you are in need of something or you need to sell a few things and get different styles.

Many things here are VERY overpriced, even considering the pricing scale. (If you think the 50% off price is still too much, that's not good.) We bought a couch that was overpriced, but we were looking for a specific dimensions and it was the only one we found. The day we got it home we realized one of the legs was missing. This wasn't noted, and when we called we were just told "sales are final." Any pieces that are nice are incredibly overpriced, but the prices on less nice pieces are higher than any other used stores in town, and are comparable to what you'd pay new. Even as someone who loves vintage furniture, I'm not going to pay extra for it being vintage unless it's a true collectors item. And even if this was an amazing store, the owner is rude and discriminatory. Sometimes when you find out you don't want to support a company, it's a sacrifice. But I'm happy to let this one go.

Tried to set up a consignment account here and the owner was the rudest piece of crap I've ever met. He talked to me like I was stupid when I've never been there before to consign. He wanted me to leave my stuff outside where anyone could pick it up. When I asked what happens if someone takes it he turned up his nose at me and said he didn't want to do business with me? He was so arrogant and rude. I would not go here if I were you. I definitely won't be back! Plenty of better consignment shops around Evansville. I just chose one of the first ones I saw.‍

In past visits I came with a friend. I found the staff friendly then and the space filled with interesting objects. However, when I visited recently I was alone and I was treated differently. Indifference is not a good look in a retail environment. It may have a good thing, inadvertently, as staff were not wearing masks. I left. I've since learned that the owner/management has strong opinions about the uselessness of mask wearing in the face of Covid-19. With sky high infections numbers in the area, I'm just glad I left. I won't be back. It's too bad because I'm emptying out my parents home.

Don't shop there! The owner and employees don't wear masks. He says he is an American and he has the right not to wear one. He's a nut. When I asked why he wasn't wearing a mask he flipped out. Following me to the door yelling! Not only that but the prices are way too high now. Much higher than they use to be. I won't go back.

My wife and I love this place. It's clean and has some really nice pieces. We've bought here before and will again.

This is a great little shop. It is packed to the gills with a lot of quality items. The store was very busy when I was there but I found the owner to be very helpful. I will definitely be back here again.

The owner is a horrible person , made my mother law cry in front of customers , she bought a bed , said it was a full, it was actually a queen , she wanted to return , told her she was stupid and should measure and take their word on it , please do not support this man.

i do shop at Seek and Find a lot and find it very well organized, quirkey, interesting, and a treasure of an adventure. The brands are well know and have even seen some items by designers shown on Antiques Roadshow. I don't need a thing but Seek and Find draws me back for the unusual and the markdowns. I purchased this tall painted desk that is my favorite piece of furniture in my home and i got it for half price. It does look like a Karges, i just don't know. You know what else is interesting? The owner. He is a hoot. Yes, he can be offensive but he is also quite talented and really cares about what he is trying to accomplish. So the next time Ken is charming like he can only be, have some fun with it. Make a friend, he is an interesting friend now. And the mark downs are fabulous. Happy shopping.

Wow! I've never been so disrespected in my life! I purchased a "White Nightstand" in a very dark and extremely overpriced shop and as soon as the attendant helped me carry said piece to my van, the daylight showed that it was not in fact white, but peach. I talked to the owner to see what he was going to do about it. He said I was a "liberal who was not taking responsibility for myself" followed by many other disrespectful comments including the fact that he "had a HUGE dick!" What a lovely conversation with a man who should not be in the business of dealing with customers. I will NEVER be setting foot in that hell hole again. Nor will I recommend it to anyone else. I heard it's a family shop. I wonder what your parents would think of you robbing customers and treating them like dirt.

Liked the store when we first got there, but my sister laid her phone down and someone found it and turned it in at the counter. We heard the man working the counter calling people from the phone, trying to find out the owner, still not realizing she lost her phone, and this man was very rude to the people in her contacts. He was short and telling them he doesn't have time for this as its a waste of his time. When we finally realized it was her phone and asked the man about it he said someone turned in a phone and held up. I said that's it and he asked whose phone it was and I told him my sister. She asked him where it was found and he yelled I don't know. She said thank you and took the phone and he very rudely said you're welcome. Well after that whole fiasco, I did not make a purchase and will not be returning to this store. Very disappointed in the staff and the negative attitude about a list phone.
