SEELEITEN - Lake Spa Hotel

Disappointing Experience||The hotel initially looked nice and seemed like a good place for our stay. However, our experience turned out to be quite disappointing.||On the first night, we were seated in a very claustrophobic area filled with toddlers for dinner. This was because it was the designated section for children, but our son, who is over 15, was accompanying us. The food quality was also very poor, which added to our dissatisfaction.||The next day, we requested to have our dinner at a table outside, as the weather was lovely, or at least in a more pleasant area where we could enjoy our holiday meal. Unfortunately, the waiter told us that we could not change our table because it was our "dedicated table" and no other place was possible. I expressed my frustration, saying I couldn’t imagine spending my evening in such an unpleasant and annoying corner, but the response remained a firm no.||Ultimately, I informed them that we would go out for dinner elsewhere, to which they simply replied, "Yes, that is your choice." So, we ended up dining outside the hotel and decided to continue doing so for the rest of our stay.||It's truly a sad story. The money we spent on this hotel did not match the quality of service we received. We expected much better and would not recommend this hotel based on our experience.

We had an incredible time at this resort. The best part of the experience was the service - it wasn't over the top but everyone was so friendly and helpful (and spoke English on top of German and Italian). We really liked this location about 25 min from Balzano and about an hour from major hiking spots Seceda and Seiser Alm. The design was impeccable - everything was thought out. We did the half board, which meant all of our food was included, but the drinks are not, which makes sense as customers will want different levels of wine in this wine-focused region of the Dolomites. They have a family spa with several saunas and a separate adults only area with indoor/outdoor pool and spa/sauna. We had several massages (all great), including the signature which starts with a scribe from the grape skins that are a byproduct of the winemaking process. The hotel has its own small area on the lake, about a 10 min walk, with drinks, bathrooms, and pedal boards to rent. The hotel had activities every day including group exercises, kids club (ours did the pizza making class), and nightly events like South Tyrolian appetizers and drinks on the patio and party at the lake with live music. Would recommend to anyone who likes hikes and wine and is looking to unwind.

This is one of those hotels that you don't want to review, so that you keep it only to yourself , its that good. |Wow, this hotel exceeded any kind of expectations regarding an amazing warm welcome, service, views, food, amenities. We loved our stay so much that we canceled our next destination and stayed here longer. |The hotel has an amazing views of the gorgeous lake and the mountains on the one side and breathtaking views of a winery on the other side. The rooms are very modern, specious and smartly designed with lots of storage space, a huge balcony and is supplied with all the amenities. |Their hotel rate can include breakfast and lunch. We absolutely loved eating in the hotel. The breakfast and lunch had probably the best buffets we had ever tried in any luxury 5 star hotels. All the food is made with very high quality ingredients and gourmet cooking style. There is a wide variety of all kinds of dishes. Every time we would ask if they are celebrating something special and they would say no, they do that regularly. They even had juicers with all kinds of veggies, fruits, to make your own juice yourself. All kinds of teas to brew your own tea. They would cook a fresh pasta in front of you for lunch and barbeque fresh meat. They really go above and beyond with their dining options. One night they had a Michelin star chef (from Germany) cooking for us an absolute amazing and super gourmet dinner. |Amazing staff, amazing service, beautiful hotel. We would most definitely come back here again, although it's such a far destination for us. They even gave a souvenir when we checked out. This was the highlight of our entire one month trip all over Italy. Thank you so much Seeleiten staff!!! You are truly the best!

Amazing holiday stay. We were impressed by the great attention to detail in everything. The hotel has been recently refurbished, all the facilities are new, two spas, one for families and one adults only, three beautiful swimming pools, rooms well designed and airy. The food is excellent and with plenty of choice offered. The staff is very attentive and helpful, always checking in if they could help. We had a family holiday there, we had our parents and our 9 months old daughter and they catered for all of us beautifully. They organise daily activities, they have bikes with kid seat, they have a house on the lake for water activities. We celebrated NYE there and they went over and above to organise a beautiful celebration. I couldn’t recommend it more.

We visited SEELEITEN hotel for 5 nights... The hotel was very nice and the staff extremely friendly. The location in between the vineyards and around 10min walk from the lake just perfect. The reason why I'm not giving it a 5 out of 5 is not only the price... Even with the fullboard which includes breakfast, lunch and a 5 course dinner the price of over €600 per night (2 people) is too much for what it is, especially since every activity (e. g. Bike rental, stand up paddling) and all drinks are charged separately. Might be caused by the fact that we booked through booking com and would have been cheaper directly with the hotel.

Beautifully designed hotel. The room was fantastic with an amazing view. Amazing dinner - The risotto is so tasty. The staff is super kind and young. The hotel facilities (which are free) are so fun (pool table, ping pong, private beach, boat renting).

We had a fantastic stay at Seeleiten.||At this hotel, they have such a good eye for details.||||Pro’s: beautiful room and we were VERY pleased with the upgrade, nice toiletries in large sizes, the food was really good and we also enjoyed the lunch in case we were in the hotel. The food was always fresh and not too fat. Nice surprises during the diner: sometimes live music or a local cheese buffet in the evening. We LOVED the location so close to the lake. We hiked, mountainbiked (also great that rental prices for e-mtb were very friendly), use the sup board at the little Seeleiten paradise at the lake. ||We went to some wineries and just enjoyed the view.||The only small cons we can come up with is the very tight and busy parking space and that the pool in the garden is smaller then the pictures suggest.||But..||We will definitely come back!||At last compliments to the staff who were all very friendly and helpful also during these crazy corona times.

One of the best family vacations. First of all, everyone is extremely friendly, patient and helpful - from the personnel at the reception to the waiters at the restaurant. The kids club offers a lot of activities and excursions for the kids so the kids in our family enjoyed it a lot. The food was fantastic and rich in variety. The rooms were very clean and modern. Every request that we had was taken care of, and always with a smile. Keep on the good work!
