I love these handmade chocolates! Assorted sweets and especially truffles. Here they will always treat you to a couple of delicious sweets as a token of gratitude for your purchase. Special thanks to the handsome young man with wavy hair who is always polite to customers, smiling, optimistic and recommends the best - it’s clear that he likes working here and customers always leave the store in a good mood. Reminds me of Paris. It’s also always nice to walk into a store when customers are served by a tall salesman with gray hair. Unfortunately, I don't know their names, but I am truly grateful for such excellent service to all customers. Thanks to all the staff for such delicious sweets!

Google
Love See's candies, I know them for 10 years, every time visit bay area I will buy loads and travel back with them. The staff in this store is super! All of them deserve a raise! You can feel the culture and why they could made candies so good. Love it, and keep it up! One complain, please open an Ireland store or at least a EU online shopping store. Please Please Please.

Google
We just had to go inside to buy my wife some milk rocky road chocolate. In the past I would buy her rocky road for her birthday. It was nice getting free simples and seeing people enjoying buying their chocolates. They have delicious choices to have them box it up for you!

Came during COVID. They were doing a great job of limiting customers into the small store. While waiting outside the manager gives you a couple chocolate samples. Once inside the store was just as normal. Fully stocked and well merchandised. The staff were eager to help and were very knowledgeable. The staff were so happy and appreciative. I got some great treats for the spring. I’ll be back soon for some gifts.

Google
The chocolates were delicious, the lady gave me and my friends free chocolates, although I would’ve liked a place to sit inside, but nonetheless easily 5 stars on all fronts.

Google
THE best chocolate in the world. Even people who don’t like chocolate will like this chocolate. The chocolates are freshly made with quality ingredients. There is a huge selection of individual chocolates as well as boxed chocolates and other candy. The staff are all about service and are so helpful. I particularly love this store and can’t wait to go back.

I was touched by the kindness of the gentleman who works there. It reminded me the old days of commerce, of being mutual kind to customers and to each other, even though I was just a visitor during my travelles. Amazing tates and variety, especially 'penut butter heart' and the lollipop sticks!

Joel Hensley

Google
The candy is great, but I would go back to this location for the friendly service. They were awesome!

Yelp
Arianna was professional and courteous. The Chocolate was, as always, rich and decadent. Staff at this location is patient and helpful.

Yelp
This rating is not based on the fact that See's quality has slipped over the years while the price has gone way up. It's mediocre but I've gotten it for years and I'm attached to it so I pick up a few lollypops and pieces of candy from time to time. The last time I looked at a label it said that something called "vanillin" was used in the candy, not real "vanilla". Another time I noticed that the label on a bag of chocolate balls said that it was manufactured "FOR" See's and not BY See's. The issue is the customer service when I dropped in today. When it was time to pay I took out a credit card in an RFID protector envelope and said "I want to test this". I was planning to test to see if the envelope prevented the card from being read. As I tried to slip into the reader slot the salesperson said "You have to take it out to use it". I explained what I was doing. I tried the various reader functions. She kept telling me that I had to take the card out of the envelope for it to work. Not a good experience.

Yelp
So yes, my posted photo shows a box of exquisite chocolates that have already been sampled but I could not help myself! I ordered online for my friends and a little something for myself. They outer red box was nicely sealed. Inside is the white See's box filled with a delicious assortment of chocolates. The aroma was incredible so I had to sample. I am limiting myself to two pieces per day because they are that good. I was given a box a few years ago by a friend that took a trip to California but we have No locations near us. My Yelp friends posted their boxes of chocolates from See's and the craving hit me! I had to have some, so I went online and was able to order with discounted shipping. I am in heaven!

Norris T.

Yelp
See's is my favorite childhood chocolate roulette wheel. Like most kids, I would open the box and randomly pop one in my mouth to guess which flavor of ganache I got which was a hit or miss but since it was all wrapped in their luxurious chocolate, I didn't care. That box never lasted more than a couple of days in my house. Now that I'm a adult, I feel like it's almost cheating when I can just pick the good ones in the store and have only those put in the box. Always a welcome gift for or from anyone especially if they've lived or worked in the Bay Area. P.S. If you're ever a guest in my house and you so much as touch my See's Candies without asking, you WILL be escorted off my premises!

Anthony H.

Yelp
Always delicious. Makes for a great present, never arrive empty handed with these little morsels.

Kaila G.

Yelp
Love this company and love the candy! Always great service, opportunities to try new flavors and great pricing. Live there seasonal packages also!

Matt W.

Yelp
Always friendly and accommodating. A wide selection of chocolates and fillings to help brighten everyone's day. I prefer the dark chocolates. But, there is something for everyone. They are one of the few stores in the area that have survived over the past few years. Matt says that if you are in the area of Sansome and Market, check this place out.

Yelp
AMAZING customer service, so friendly and welcoming. This is my first visit to this location and I'm so glad I decided to venture in. Near Montgomery Bart and bus routes, it's extremely convenient to venture to. Inside is small and quaint, but extremely clean and spacious enough to practice social distancing. The beautiful spirited woman who assisted me is the warmest, most patient person I have encountered since mid/post pandemic. It was not a transaction, rather an engaging conversation between familiar souls. She was patient as I made way though the selections inside the cases and joked with me along the way. I wish I asked her name so I can give her kudos for going above and beyond. I know chocolate is an indulgence within itself, causing happy endorphins to rise. A visit to this location simply to share a moment with a lovely person provides the same happiness, especially in a time of seclusion. Check it out for yourself, your tummy and heart with thank you!

Yelp
We really enjoy their milk chocolate box. Every time we're in San Francisco we get a 2lb box, then have a piece each night until they're gone. See's Candy is one of the great joys for us when visiting San Francisco.

Yelp
This See's store is awesome...!!! The girls are so friendly and personable... Irene, Nately, and Barbara 'rule'...!!!

Caillou H.

Yelp
Irene is an amazing salesperson! She is super supportive during my time in See's Candies - Market Street

Yelp
See's is a solid local chocolatier with high quality chocolates and they offer a variety of other candies (toffees/hard candy etc). Their chocolates are yummy, but I really LOVE their Toffee-ettes!! I've sent their chocolates as gifts to many friends and clients. They have a very traditional, old fashioned style, which means their chocolates and candies are very sugar forward, which is perfect for those with a HUGE sweet tooth!

Yelp
My sister needed two boxes of See's candies, so after the SF Chinatown visit, we stopped here before heading home to the East Bay. I knew what I wanted - two sugar free milk chocolate candy bars. However, there was only one employee assisting a customer. That customer wanted two custom made boxes of chocolate candy. I was "licking my chops" as to what the gentleman was ordering. Okay...okay...okay, I was "ear hustling" and the assorted fruit truffles, soft centered chocolates and chews that he wanted had me mumbling oh, yummy! My other sister was waiting for us to purchase our candy. While waiting to be helped, several patrons came in, bought what they wanted or the bicyclist who came in for a free sample. No big deal to wait. What's worth waiting is worth getting and patience is a virtue. Another male employee appeared and apologized that we waited at least 15 minutes for assistance. He asked if I wanted a free sample after paying him. I was not expecting any freebie, but he was kind enough to give me two large pieces of sugar free peanut brittle. I enjoyed chomping on them for a moment; however, after a while, I became weary of eating the peanuts. The next time I visit a See's Candies I will ask for my standby - either scotchmallow or the rum nougat. Overall, I am very content that See's Candies have sugar free milk chocolate bars and peanut brittle.

Yelp
As a treat to take back with us on our road trip, my brother and sister-in-law got my Mom and I each a box of the classic See's Candies. Tonight I opened it and found a little story about the history of the chocolates on the inside of the candy box lid before trying a tasty caramel candy. There are 22 different kinds of chocolates to choose from in the box. What a great way to add some sweetness to a Tuesday!

Yelp
Stepping inside of See's Candies is like being transported back to better times. That iconic white box and those classic uniforms have remained unchanged for a century- there's no need to mess with perfection! I can't get enough of the Dark Nougat and got a pound today. Even though it was just for myself and I said tossing them into a bag would be fine, the kind sales associate carefully packed away the chocolate treasures into a box. He said they would travel better that way and he didn't want them to get damaged. Such fantastic customer service! We were the very first customers of the day and that experience was a great way to begin the day. Happy 100th Birthday, See's!

Laura T.

Yelp
First of all, sees candy is great. I love the old fashioned feel of the shops and going there is a fun experience with the free sample and being able to see all the candies behind the glass. I buy probably $1000+ in sees every year as we use it for gifts and holidays. Favorites are very personal but I like the scotchmallows, toffettes, butterscotch squares and dark chocolate buttercreams. Second, this location is great. The manager is extremely nice and cares deeply about the store and all the employees I have interacted with have been nothing but friendly and helpful. They always ask if I need something wrapped for a special occasion. I was reminded of this when I went to the Albany location today. It was busy but the experience wasn't good. Very rushed, just pulled out my chocolate (so excited) and some of them are wrong and it wasn't a massive order but still want a better experience for a $90 purchase. It contrasted heavily with my normal experience .... So go market street Sees!

Semuteh F.

Yelp
I grew up in South City and every kid went to the see's candies factory for a field trip in elementary school. It was the fancy chocolate we got for special occasions and the ladies who worked in the shops were always so nice. The free samples are the best-such an old fashioned way to show customer appreciation! My go-to order is a 1lb box of nuts and chews plus some chocolate lollipops. The sour stars are also delish. This location has excellent service and you should support this local business for the holidays (and year round!). They are open with limited capacity in the store and they take Apple Pay.

Yelp
This little shop is packed to the brim with candies; Wall-to-wall delights everywhere you look. See's Candy has a special place in my heart. My grandmother used to buy me See's Candy when I was a little girl. It's one of the relics of my childhood that still remains. Although See's kiosks can now be found in airports, as well as in stores, across the country, there's still nothing like getting it in California. It's made fresh here and the brick-and-mortar stores have certain treats that are not simply available at the smaller retail locations. I came into this store after work, as wide-eyed and glee-filled as I'm sure I was over 25 years ago: holding grandma's hand and trying to make the impossible choice of which (one) sweet treat to get. I will tell you that the decision gets no easier as an adult. These beautiful displays of perfectly polished candies are just as tantalizing now as they were back then, if not more so. The difference is that now I'm spending my own money, so I can get as many as I want. I'm sure grandma is looking down from Heaven; smiling and shaking her head. As soon as I hit the door, the gentleman behind the counter offered me a free sample. I gobbled up an Apricot Delight and immediately knew I was going to need at least one more of those. In addition to the Apricot Delight, I decided on the the California Brittle and the limited edition Mint Scotchmallow, which I think is only released around St. Patrick's Day. I can't pick a favorite, because that would be wrong, so I'll tell you about em all. The Apricot Delight is a sunny, tart, and delicious shock to the senses. It looks nothing like what you imagine it will taste like. The coconut is simply a cover for the bright burst of apricot that you get once you begin to chew the candy. It's a unique confection that is executed beautifully. The California Brittle is a square of buttery rich toffee enrobed in silky-smooth milk chocolate with a delightful crunch... it's one of my old favorites. The Scotchmallow was the yummiest chocolate confection I've enjoyed in a long while; a green peppermint marshmallow, plopped atop a layer of rich chocolate butter caramel, then wrapped in delectable dark chocolate. Forget the Shamrock shake... this is the new St. Patty's Day treat that I crave! I'll definitely be back for another.

Yelp
5+ Stars. "All's well that ends well. " I want to report back that my faith in See's has been restored. When I wrote the initial review, I was still steaming from my experience. It wasn't so much that I was treated so inappropriately but See's was more like a family friend who always participated in a family holiday or a special occasion. The clerks at See's have always been warm and friendly. But, my family and friends told me not to expect too much from a corporation and to forget about the way things "used to be" - "times have changed" they all told me. In today's world of corporate greed most companies have deteriorated into an AT&T business model that could really care less about customer service because they have gotten "TOO BIG TO FAIL." Against my family's advice, I decided to write to the See's corporate office and voice my concern on Yelp. I want people to be prepared if they go to a candy store - which should be a happy experience - and end up getting belittled and treated like a nuisance. I thought, even if the corporation could care less, at least I did my due diligence and told the truth to those who follow my reviews. Well, I didn't expect what happened next. . . I got a phone call from the See's District Manager for the San Francisco area. She is a delightful woman named Barbara. The way she spoke to me was reminiscent of a kind neighbor. She was kind and soft spoken and had empathy in her voice. I imagined I was talking to one of the black and white uniformed ladies who always gave me a piece of chocolate when I went with my mother to an old See's Candy Store. Our conversation was frank and to the point but Barbara's natural empathy and desire to make things right really impressed me. Barbara gets it. She knows that the modern See's Corporate culture needs to maintain the down home family feel and appreciation of customer loyalty. Barbara asked me to return to the Market Street store and allow the rest of the staff to take care of me. Something about Barbara's demeanor made me trust her and I went back to the Market Street store. I met Irene the Assistant Manager and another clerk who were both ready with my order already prepped. Irene took the time to talk with me and she reflected the same apology, kindness and consideration that Barbara did. I was impressed that Corporate culture had not affected them as I thought. It is still the same down home See's Candy store with clerks as sweet as the candy they sell. My negative experience was a slip up that can happen to any business. It sounds like even the clerk I had a negative experience with learned something about customer service and I hope he grows into appreciating what See's Candy actually is. See's is a taste of home and a respite from those cold days in a big city. I hope everyone comes by and picks up a little something sweet after a hard day in the urban jungle. Thanks Barbara! Thanks Irene! Thanks See's! You made me very happy today! Friends, See's is really a good place. I encourage you to stop by sometime.

Yelp
The new whole chocolate coated almonds threaten the brand's reputation. The texture is grainy or chalky and the flavor is a bit off. It is not the kind of product that long ago C. Huggins would have put out. I have had creamy chocolate on other almonds; this mix is just off. It may be better than no chocolate almonds but it isn't as good as the regular chocolate almond clusters. In the old days I would have given feedback to HQ but I'm not sure the company operates that way any more.

Ryan S.

Yelp
This location is great! Very convenient location - steps from a Bart/Muni entrance - and downtown. There is an employee named Froylun (I know that is spelled wrong probably and I apologize in advance) who is new and a real asset. He is fast, nice to chat with, and a real benefit to that location. The rest of the staff including the wonderful manager are also just fantastic!

Elena N.

Yelp
A talent was nice enough to bring us some treats a few weeks ago. I haven't had See's Candies in a while, so this was definitely a throwback for me. We got them on Friday, September 15th around 12 noon. *Milk Chocolate Balls *Dark Chocolate Balls *Orange Twists *Chocolate Orange Lollipop I only tried the dark chocolate balls which satisfied my sweet tooth. I normally don't prefer chocolate, but this did the trick when I'd had enough other candy and needed another kind of sweet. (I'm kind of a gummy addict.) The chocolate was not too sweet, which was nice. I'm not a fan of milk chocolate since I find it too sweet in general. I remember when my mom used to bring home See's Candies when I was younger. It was nice revisiting a candy from the past. Reminded me of how I used to enjoy their chocolate. Now, if only I could get someone to get me a box of those nuts & chews. Yum!

Sean C J.

Yelp
This is a nice little shop with sooo much! The soaps are amazing and the price isn't bad at all!

Guisela L.

Yelp
It's that time of year again! Wait...samples for me or gifts for others? Ha, I'll let you be the judge. Annual tradition to come and get gifts for me, I mean for others around this time of year. The staff here are friendly and handled the process flawlessly. The scotchmallows are just perfect. The California brittle a close second. Due to Covid samples are handled a little differently. They're preset aside into little to go baggies so you can enjoy at your leisure. Come and support these guys. Your belly will thank me later.

Carrie Z.

Yelp
One of my childhood favorites! I was in today to hand pack a box..75% nuts, 25% chews. Despite the trouble of packing and wrapping 3 identical one pound boxes, the staff was friendly (and generous with the samples). My favorites... Any of the milk or dark chocolate coated nuts, particularly the dark chocolate pecan buds for the holidays. Scotchmallows. Chocolate, caramel, marshmallow. Nuff said. Milk or dark California brittles. Grab a piece (or twelve) and enjoy!

Lexy A.

Yelp
Ordered online, went to pick up, and the process was so simply !! I ordered ahead of time (custom box of chocolates) and they prepared the order shortly after. They will hold it for 2 days before refunding your order. I got free samples and the security guard was very friendly! Great pick up experience during these crazy times !!

Abdullah Q.

Yelp
I was surprised to buy a candy in such a place in market st and yet it taste very poorly and cheap. I couldn't finish them.

Janelle M.

Yelp
Who doesn't love chocolate? Especially , if it's from delicious See's Candies?! I stopped by the this particular San Francisco location while walking back to the Ferry building. My sister is addicted to See's Candies so we check it out. The first think I noticed is they a particular chocolate assortment box that I've never seen at any other See's Candies anywhere. It's called the San Francisco Assortment which is chocolate that the people of San Francisco votes on and as the top candy choices and that the assortment it will be. (see Photo below) my sister asked if this assortment is sold in any other See's locations it's not. Only San Francisco & South San Francisco. Trust from what's in the assortment most of it, I would eat anyways..lol! We of course were offered samples most in our group declined, not me l like me some tasty candy. I did my a few pieces of the Caramel, Chelsea as well as my favorite Vanilla nut caramel! My sister ended getting a 2 lb box of a little bit of everything & the kitchen sink. I think my sisters husband did buy the San Francisco assortment. The employees are are friendly as other locations. We were helped pretty fast, so no complaints there. They even gave us a few extra pieces of candy with our purchase. How nice!

Diem N.

Yelp
I need to get my grandma some chocolate. The first thing that came to my head was See's Candies. This my first time at this location in San Francisco. Everyone was so helpful and knowledgeable about different chocolates. I learn so much about the difference chocolate. You can't leave San Francisco without getting some See's Chocolate. It's must in your bucket list. You definitely have to check out this location.

Bill S.

Yelp
Walking into See's Candies for the first time, I was greeted warmly by the people behind the counter. The gentleman said something about candy day and gave us free candy?! Man, I love California! I can't wait for free Gold rush day, haha Just reading the history of See's Candies, 100 year old family business that started in LA and spread throughout California. Being from NY, I never heard of the See's Candies brand but I'm excited to learn. We were each given caramel pops, soo good! Something else caught my eye: Awesome Peanut Brittle Candy. First off, anything with the word 'Awesome" in the title had me at hello. Secondly, this was probably the best candy bar I had in my life. That's right, boom goes the dynamite. I left singing: "She's simply...awesome" I loved the black & white decor of the store, it gave off a nice hometown feel. I'm not sure if there are See's Candies with any nicer folks that I encountered but if there are then See's Candies is truly an American treasure.

John J.

Yelp
Good services here They have all the tasty treats See's is known for. The staff is really friendly and it's fun to be in here.

Tamu V.

Yelp
Daniel is so freaking awesome!!!!! So helpful nice and energetic. He wants to help you pick your desired chocolate

Kam H.

Yelp
This See's store is located super conveniently near Market St. Right near Bart, which is perfect! Parking will not be easy, you will be better off just walking. I walked in but was not greeted right away. I finally got greeted and asked a few questions. I got a box of chocolates that I thought had a good variety with the suggestions made. I was also offered a sample of some raspberry chocolate. But I don't like raspberry so I asked for another sample to switch out. I got an attitude from the clerk I am not sure why because a free sample is a free sample. It's not like the sample was coming out of your pocket. Also, you offered me the sample, I did not ask for one. I am sure the uniform requirement is to wear all white. But, if you must wear that color you have to look polished and professional. I was checked out quickly and then rushed. I guess she was upset about me wanting to switch out my sample? The location is convenient, the employees do needs some one on one training in customer service. I would probably come back here again to see if my experience changes.

Eursula W.

Yelp
Some of the staff at See's on Market St. Sf give good customer service I told the man that work there he is super tall that my grandmother had a hard time eating anything with nuts and he accommodated me and her as if she was there I frequent this establishment about every other month.

Virginia R.

Yelp
Who doesn't like a free sample of chocolate, a warm welcoming and smiles upon entering a business? California brittle is THE best! Excellent customer service provided by the lovely and friendly Shandy. She also gift wrapped my 1 lb. box purchase in Holiday paper. Also, please note that they are open at 10 am on Sunday for the Holiday hours!!

Maxine F.

Yelp
What a wonderful experience! First class customer service and true old fashioned quality! James was a joy to work as he helped put together multiple custom boxes of candy to bring to friends and colleagues. He was such a pleasant and knowledgeable salesperson. It's no wider he's been in the store for 20 years. The best part is that See's candy is still as delicious and fresh and made with the same quality ingredients as always! Refreshing to know somethings stay the same! You must visit this store!

Ziggy F.

Yelp
Great Selection of Easter at 50% off. The service was outstanding. James who is the Manager gives great customer service and is very excited about his job at See's Candies and it shows and Kim was very help also. I could believe I got this great Easter Basket for $25.00. My friend is celebrating Greek Orthodox Easter on May 2nd and this is perfect. I have included pictures of the great values. They will not last long at this prices. See's is also celebrating their 100th anniversary. The Centennial. I also purchased the amazing coffee Beans. Please let your staff know how much they are appreciated especially during these times.

Jack S.

Yelp
This has to be the best candy store in San Francisco, Great Service , Great Product and of course the samples . The staff was amazing and you have to get the San Francisco Assortment . The box is $10.25 and makes a great gift . I love this place . I was there today 1/29/19. The prices went up but still a great value. The service in this location is the best I have ever had in any See's location . The samples and I loved the Blueberry Heart. James and Elaine helped me . I will be back . Great Valentine Selection. I loved the Lunar New Year stuff. I just don't agree that you put up with the homeless . They are sometimes disrespectful but , your staff treatable them with dignity.

Ann L.

Yelp
Went to See's Candies because we saw it on Market St, SF. There was a sign for Sour Hearts on sale so I went in. Sour Hearts came in a 8oz bag half filled w/ sour chews in fruit flavors of Cherry, Lemon, & Berry. On sale it was $3.90. I used my credit card & ask for the a sample, always ask for one especially if buying something.

Jenny T.

Yelp
Almond Royals! A chocolate fudge with almonds embedded inside. You bite into the chocolate fudge and chew it with the almond and the combined flavors will form happy clouds on top of your head. Close your eyes... chew... be happy... This shop has saved my life so many times because whenever I'm in the mood for delicious chocolates...particularly almond royals, its' usually here for me! They give out free samples but since I love almond royals so much, I always request my freebie to be the same item that I'm buying or sometimes they will automatically give me the same item. The service is so in-tuned with my needs =). You don't have to make a purchase for a free sample, so, I've seen countless times, a homeless person would come in for a free piece of chocolate. The ladies that work here never refuse to give them out, although, if it were me working here, I would had SNAPPED. So, good thing I don't work there. Hmmm hmmmm... I commend them for their excellent customer service skills and for maintaining their composure from SNAPPING! in front of any customer...paying or non-paying. It's great here because you can buy pre-packaged chocolates or you can get special arrangement boxes too. I usually go to the special arranged section for a handful of my all time favs...Almond Royals. See you soon Almond Royals!!!

L C.

Yelp
I love this shop! The chocolates are amazing, better than they look, and the folks who work there are all super-lovely. I recommend the San Francisco selection in a tidy little gift box, and the white chocolate Cashew Brittle. Divine.

Bill L.

Yelp
The See's chocolates are always good. The service was great as always. I was pleasantly surprised that my old gift certificates were still good.

T L.

Yelp
Went here to get some chocolates while my partner was grabbing something from his office across the street. They only allow two people in the store at a time and appear to practice social distancing even between employees. I really appreciated the warm service I received from a male employee, I tried to find his name but it was not on the receipt. Thank you so much for making my spontaneous errand a nice one!

Marie S.

Yelp
I love See's Candies. I've loved them since childhood. It's amazing because I could walk in there and buy just one or two candies, I did not have to buy a box. Today, it's still as it was when I was a little kid. Same chocolates too, plus the new ones. My favorites are truffles. Dark chocolate, chocolate chip, raspberry, milk chocolate, and I more recently tried the blueberry truffle. I love the s'mores and the rocky road fudge as well. The chocolate is very fresh. All the See's locations are equally good, in my opinion. If you like chocolate, go into See's. They will give you a free chocolate to sample while you browse the selection of candy.

Yelp
The staff was taking careful precautions with Covid 19. Everyone was wearing a mask, they practice social distancing, and have only about 2 people in the store at a time. James and Raylome were super nice and helpful to us and made the experience so much better than just a trip to a chocolate store. They were very generous with samples and it was just nice feeling welcomed during such a stressful time.

Yelp
Good old See's Candies. I liked getting a box of See's as a gift to the family when I was a child. See's has a memorable brand. I love the old-fashioned charm. I went into this one today. I wanted one or two pieces. The lady at the counter talked to me when I came in and was very professional. She told me I get a free piece and so I gladly took it. It was a dark chocolate caramel. I decided to get a butterscotch pop. Just a little treat after having a fast casual dinner.

Yelp
Mmmmmmmm. Did I say mmmMmmmMmmmm. This is the cutest tiniest shop just filled with deliciousness everywhere. They have the friendliest employees who are behind the counter. They are always busy but the line stays moving quickly. This is easy to get to off the Bart, you can get off on Market and it's right there. And they are always delighted to give you a sample. Which is just the most wonderful bribery ever. Because if you taste it, let's face it, your gonna want more. So throw a few of those in with the mix please and thank you. It's amazing to see all the tourist and where they are from and they buy all the See's Candy the law allows to take back home. (Just kidding, there is no illegal amount of See's Candy) If you are in the area stop in and try a few pieces out. You can eat them as you walk to Embarcadero and people watch along the way. You are burning the calories as you walk and eat. It'll be a beautiful day. Plenty of shopping as well.

Yelp
It's an easy to thing to run into a See's right before a trip overseas to bring some "San Francisco" with you to share. I mean, chocolates hold up a lot better than a loaf of sourdough right? The folks at this location are just lovely and friendly. As per usual, they offer a free treat with every purchase but the lady behind the counter was also extremely knowledgeable and helpful to boot. I was in and out with my box of chocolates and a chocolate nougat to nibble on the way home. Love the nostalgic charm of See's from the never-aging classic packaging to the crisp black and white uniforms. See's is truly a San Francisco classic.

Yelp
Bought a $1 Butterscotch pop for a friend and was asked if I wanted a sample! A few weeks ago, I was at the Walnut Creek See's, made a $20 purchase and practically had to beg for a sample. Buying candy should be a sweet thing and this store is sweet!
