See's Candies

Every time you visit this store, the cute staff will bring you a variety of mouth-watering chocolates and ask you to choose one to try. It will instantly make you feel like a child again. This store is relatively new, and the shopping area is also a newly developed place, so the whole place looks very bright and comfortable. There is also enough space to park. The most important thing is that the service girl in this store is very friendly. She was very kind to check the shelf life of each box for me and gave me the freshest one. I am very grateful to her.

Loved the young woman who waited on me. I had a relatively complicated order - 2 1lb boxes and 1 12 piece box where I picked the mix for all 3. She was sweet and very patient and did a beautiful job wrapping all three boxes. I am rarely anywhere other than the airport in San Jose. However, with See's pretty much a straight and short stop from the airport, I may stop on my way back to the East Coast from SJC more often. I grew up on See's having lived in South San Francisco (See's Headquarters) in Jr. and Sr. High . But my California AND East Coast Godmothers are LOVE See's so whenever I am in California I a. required to buy 1 and 2 pound boxes for them both. It is my pleasure, especially when I can get great service like I did at this shop in San Jose!

The lady was very friendly as soon as I came in she asked me do I want to sample I said of course I can't pass that it then she said how can I help you I said I would like half a pound milk chocolate she gave me a sample of a strawberry one it was very good so I got the normal Peanut cluster California brittle peanut covered milk chocolate nougat if you haven't ate this candies your missing out make sure you try this delicious candy

A cute little store with a variety of chocolates, perfect for picking up an assorted box with your preferences. The chocolates are high quality and rich, totally worth the money. The lady behind the counter was super helpful, gave us a free sample and answered all of our questions. Absolutely loved the place!

My comments and compliments goes to the man there, Tuan. He was very helpful and informative about their options available to anyone there, provided great service as well as offering samples of any candies available to try out. The guy was really cool and brought to our attention about some of the offers and box options to choose from based on our preferences. After trying a few samples I didn't want to the leave place myself lol. Kinda like experiencing your very own Willy Wonka and the chocolate factory sorta thing. Classic, old school candy shop with free samples and awesome staff. What's not to love. I like the assorted boxes or seasonal chocolates but most things are by weight so you can build your own assortment for a similar price

Such a wonderful experience buying a box of chocolates as a gift for a friend. Redeemed a certificate for a 1 lb box, and the sales associate was so helpful with picking the top flavors. Wrapped perfectly!

Tricia greeted us as soon as we walked through the door, and of course, offered us a free sampling of chocolate. While my friend was choosing a birthday card from the spinning display rack up front, Tricia walked out from behind the counter with a big round box of chocolates and proceeded to describe practically each individual piece to me! I was impressed! She knows her See's chocolates!!! The store is bright, clean and beautifully merchandised! There is candy for every season, holiday and any age group! And even something for your dog! They had a cute stuffed chew toy shaped like a box of See's chocolates! Walking into the store brought back memories from my youth when I always bought a signature See's Lollypop. These Lollypops were delicious and lasted a long time! My favorite See's candy though is the Molasses Chips! While my friend was still choosing a birthday card, Tricia proceeded to get the birthday candy box my friend wanted and put a birthday slide over the box! It was such a nice added touch! Thank you, Tricia! Will we return? You bet!!!

Yesterday I came in to See's Candies in the afternoon to buy a half pound box. There were two ladies there named Samantha and Jasmine that were both extremely kind and helpful throughout my whole visit there making it a very positive and easy experience for me. I will make sure to definitely come back again!

What's to say. A holiday tradition , giving See's candies for the holidays.They make a perfect gift for everyone. Plus it's nice to have around the house in case guests show up. my favorite is the bordouex(not sure how to spell).

If you like chocolate it's hard to top See's. Great customer service, free samples, and a decent assortment of chocolates. Prices are a bit high for my tastes, but overall, you pay for what you get and I guess that applies to chocolates. Overall, a great place for gifts, and chocolate memories.

This is long overdue as this store has been open for a while. It's so convenient to have one so close by! The staff is so friendly and helpful. A special shout out to the store manager! Delicious and tasty little chocolates, mints, nuts, etc.

We like to buy See's Candies for our relatives from oversea. It is like "Omiyake" in Japanese. Omiyake means souvenirs, gifts. We called to order 6 boxes of 1/2 lb of dark chocolate pecans and 2 cans of nuts. They wrapped it nicely. Then we pick up. No need to wait for packing. Great Location near where we live. The gentleman employee was smiley.

Such an amazing See's Candies location!! Stopped by strictly for their butterscotch lollipops and was excited to see the [seasonal] cinnamon lollipop available as well. Customer service provided by staff is amazing and all patrons are treated the same regardless of how little or large your purchase is. 5/5 stars because you really can't beat the genuine, kind, and chipper service provided. This location is fan-flipping-tastic!!!! Highly highly recommended.

Was just passing by and noticed a See's candies location around the corner so I made the choice to visit. This specific location has some of the most friendliest staff compared to other stores I have visited in the chocolate/sweets industry. The mere fact they provide generous samples and allow you to taste specific item sets the standard for me. People don't just come here for the fine assortment of high end chocolates, the professionalism and courtious qualities of the staff makes you want to stay longer.

It's so dangerous to have a Sees candies store nearby but here we are. Friendly manager who helped me with a 1/2 lbs custom box and showed me a mixed box from Valentine's Day that was marked down by 1/2.

Loved my experience here. I didn't know there was a location in this plaza and the staff were extremely helpful. Thuan helped me choose mother day's chocolates and Jennelyn was also sweet at the register! This plaza is frequently busy and full of other great food options, homegoods, and ulta are nearby too. Looking forward to coming to this location for my chocolate needs!

Nothing beats walking into a See's candy with a kid. The immediate scent makes any kid smile. This location is tucked into a very busy shopping center. It's got a lot of foot traffic and sometimes parking isn't what you'd like it to be, but that's only on the weekends. Walking in we were greeted. The back door was open to the stock room & you can see an employee sitting in the back enjoying their break. It was kind of an eye sore to see as there were many people waiting in line. I like the idea of customizing different boxes. A hint for those trying to do that, do your research ahead of time. There will only be 1 person helping in the front & you will hold up the time. I understand you deserve great service, I understand you shouldn't feel rushed. Let's just keep this in the forefront, if I can research the things I want, then I can make the experience better for everyone including myself.

Great Customer Service here. Free samples and they got the line moving swiftly. I will always commend customer service and niceties in all its capacities and tonight and here was no exception. I will definitely be back. Thanks for your beautiful candies. A bit pricey but quality always is.

This is where I go when I need to fulfill my Scotchmallow craving. The service here is consistently pleasant with their free samples. I enjoy browsing the seasonal offerings and conversing with the staff on what their favorites might be. Don't sleep on the Coffee Scotchmallows when they make a reappearance!

I've come by four times in a week, oops! I grew up getting See's chocolates and lollipops as presents, and now I visit See's to get treats for myself :) Love the scotch kiss, it's a large marshmallow dipped in some top-notch butterscotch. The employees are lovely, just like their chocolate. Shoutout to Shelly, she's so sweet and charming to speak with! They offer samples of whatever you'd like to try so that you'll be happy with your purchase. This conveniently located See's in Brokaw Plaza is a great shop to get treats for yourself or others, no matter the time of year.

I have to give this See's location five stars for a couple of reasons. I came here on a business trip to pick up 125 of their 1 lb assorted boxes for Christmas gifts for my department. For some reason that was not explained to me, the form of payment for these given me by my manager was a stack of *many* gift cards. The amount of time it took to individually scan a sufficient number of these to pay for the boxes amounted to just over an hour. So, I had all that time to just hang out in the store and wait. And what do you do when hanging out in a See's with a staff and manager who are grateful for the largest transaction in the store's history? Unlimited chocolate samples. How many could you eat? I thought they were small enough I could sample as many as I could fill up on. Haha, not so. Not so at all. I reached 5 and had to bend over and stand back from the counter. The manager kept telling me "you can have as many as you want, here try this one..." I choked down a sixth one and asked for some water, which they don't serve. So, after begging the ice cream shop next door (sic) for ice water and sitting outside for 20 minutes or so. I came back in and the guy behind the counter asked if I wanted to try a Rum Raisin Truffle with him. We did it like a shot. I barely escaped a sugar coma. The chocolate is good. The assortments definitely vary and are high on mystery. The curiosity / reward of discovering what's in center of each is like a yummy game. I prefer the creamy, fruity varieties typically. The store itself has a classic feeling. Everyone who enters is offered a sample or two. And it really is very much like being a kid in a candy store to be handed a sampler tray and offered to pick any piece you want. Total throwback. High marks for service, enthusiasm, cleanliness, and a solid product. Vive la See's!

I highly recommend this location for their excellent staff. My cravings for white chocolate has intensified as I cannot have any milk or dark chocolates. Being a Sees fan for decades, I knew they had white chocolates to offer me. I was just at a different Sees location and they didn't have one of the options I saw at this location. It was the mint truffle. I got that as well as polar bear paw, divinity puff, scotch kiss (the only non white chocolate option I got), birthday cake, strawberry truffle and apple pie truffle. I got them in a bag and I should have just gotten a box. I don't know the price difference but it was hard to distinguish between the truffles which flavor was which. I got the menu but I was also lazy to look when I just wanted to indulge. The staff working offered me a sample but I declined as it was all milk and dark chocolate. She offered to get me a white chocolate sample instead and I was so excited. I got a polar bear paw. She made my day and I left with my haul of white chocolates.

Christine, the sales rep is the reason why I'm giving this Brokaw location a 5-star. From the moment I entered the door, she greeted me with a smile and left me alone to find the chocolate boxes I was looking. Christine sensed that I needed a basket and immediately gave it to me. I like that she gave me time to look around and only talk when I had questions. I was looking for a Birthday presented package but the choices I got were not in the Birthday package. What Christine did was to offer to gift wrap them for me and meticulously made them pretty while still being attentive to other customers. I left the store with an awesome customer service experience. Christine reminded me of my rewards card and gave me a $5 off in my next visit. I hope all their staff are like Christine in my next visits.

I have a See's Candy gift certificate that I won last year at a company raffle. I'm not much of a chocolate person so it's not a surprise that it took me so long to redeem the gift certificate. What's good about the certificate is that it does not have any expiration date. The certificate is good for 1 pound of chocolate. So last weekend, me and my daughter went to the store in Brokaw to redeem it. The lady in the store told me that my gift certificate can be used to any of the chocolate that is priced at $21. I can either get the one big box or get any variety that equals the said amount. If the total goes over $21, we just have to pay the difference. What a sweet deal! What I got: a small box of limited edition eggnog truffle, A small gold box of various truffles and See-gar chocolate (cigar shapped milk choc) all for a total of $22.15 so I just paid $1.15 extra! Suhweeet!!! And we got a tasting of their orange and strawberry truffles. Sooo woNderful!

I'm a huge fan of See's Candies no matter what time of the year it is, but admittedly there's an influx of See's Candies visits on my end during the holiday season. This See's Candies location couldn't have opened up at any more of a perfect time in the first week of November. I also happened to stumble into See's Candies on its second day of the grand opening. Lucky me! Thankfully this location is an easy and accessible spot for North SJers. I would have to go all the way to the Valley Fair Mall's store or Eastridge Mall's pop-up store for See's Candies. I had such a pleasant experience with customer service. The associate who helped me was extremely kind and personable. The sales associate gave a great idea of using the Scotch Kisses for candied yams on Thanksgiving! She was also very patient with me while helping me fill a 1lb box. I ended up spending more than $25, which entitled me to a promotional free, small box of assorted chocolates. I love the quality of See's Candies. The Scotch Kisses, which are the soft caramel covered marshmallows, are my absolute favorites. They're essential in every box or bag I create. My favorites of the chocolates include the Marzipan, Divinity Puff, Milk Chocolate Vanilla Nut Cream, and Beverly. The rocky road is very good at See's but would love to see them come out with some type of s'mores chocolate in the future.

See's Candies Ribbon Cutting Grand Opening was today! Located in Brokaw in the same shopping plaza as Sprouts is perfect. Parking is abundant here, so easy breezy. Awesome, my first time ever seeing!! They needed a bigger giant scissor, but that was fun to witness and experience! Lots of happiness in the air ^_^ I received a free tote bag since they were giving away to the first 100 people whom entered. Grand opening and ribbon cutting happened at 9:30am. A lady said friendly words and along with introducing everybody. Then, the doors with balloons swang open. There's a deal going on if you spend $25, you shall receive a small chocolate box called A Taste of See's. The people and staff were friendly and the store was well lit and clean...after all it's brand new. See my many pictures to see what I saw! Enjoy!

This is my favorite go to place for quality chocolates. It's a tad bit expensive but worth it. I started going to the new one on Brokaw and Old Oakland Rd. It's very clean and great customer service. Parking can be a bear at times but don't let that stop you from satisfying your sweet tooth.

I've been to this location before and had a wonderful experience it was some time ago. It was a young lady who helped me and I don't remember her name but she was absolutely fantastic. Such a kind and helpful young lady. Now fast forward to yesterday my mother and I went in now that they're open. Thoung (I believe is how his name was spelled) he was outstanding. He had great suggestions and also recommendations on what would be the best deals. He was very knowledgeable about the candy and even the history. We had a great time in there and I look forward to coming back even though I live 1.5 hrs away. Such a great staff every time

Employees don't need to be rude while giving chocolate. 3 employees, one male rude employee. I simply asked if they had a particular flavor because the sign was out, his response, "no we don't have that, is the dish out"? Wtf,how does that signify anything to me and why would you have a sign out for a bulk candy if you don't have it in stock? What's up with that? Not necessarily at all. I will happily spend my chocolate money elsewhere. No samples either, but the customer in front of me got some. If you don't like your job, quit. Please don't take it out on customers that help support your wages. That's all bye.

I love this sees candy shop! The employees are so kind , fast , efficient and professional, my favorite place. One lady even helped me out and gave me $5 discount because I qualified for promo, now that is someone that cares! I been to the sees candy shop by Almaden area and that was a bad experience. Not only did they ran out of my favorite chocolate (almond square) the lady was very slow, mentioned no promos offered NO SAMPLES and got my order wrong. COME to the brokaw location instead! They are awesome !

Grand opening today November 9, 2018. Extremely friendly staff.. as per usual to my visits to any see's location. They were fully stocked today, and seems ready for this coming holiday season.

This review is for the See's Candy at Brokaw Road. The service I received was just fine, no complaints about it. I came in and purchased three boxes of candy today as gifts and spent $86. A man comes in after me and purchases less than $10 in individual candies and the sales associate gifts him three samples, while she gifted me one. This gentleman didn't request extra samples, she just offered them. I was standing at the cash register and heard their entire interaction. I'm not upset I wasn't offered more samples, one was adequate and appreciated. What bugs me is the sales associate not demonstrating equality. I'm a female. Why did the gentleman receive three times what I received? He wasn't hot or even in the sales associate's age bracket so there was likely no ulterior motive on the part of the female sales associate. I'm just irritated that this woman openly and publicly favored a male customer. How tf are women supposed to be treated equally when women don't even treat other women equally. Do better!

so recently at work I had an accident we're I lost my balance with the ladder fell off a 12 ft ladder dislocated my arm and so when I walked in see's candies this very nice lady name Arelie helped me package all my purchased items, she was very thoughtful and merry Christmas to her and her family I would love to come back and give her a warm hug and gift

Two weeks before Easter...only one employee working the store. Please hire more workers.

This place is pretty new and clean. Stopped by yesterday to pick up 1/2 lb of chocolates and the lady that helped us hooked us up with some samples of the dark chocolate coconut- my fave! I wouldn't mind coming back to this location. Only thing that sucks is the parking. They're usually pretty busy here

Brandie and the staff are FANTASTIC and let me experience marzipan for the first time and I totally loved it. Thanks for being sweet and helpful!!! 10/10

This is my favorite See's Candy store of the Bay Area!!!! Why? Because of Brandy & Shelly's enthusiasm the moment I walked into the store. Their experience with detail of each piece of chocolate was spot on. I'm definitely coming back every time I need more chocolate.
