See's Candies

First of all, I love this location. So convenient, great hours, and I always love the staff here. But what prompted me to leave a review was the woman who helped me today: Margarit. What an incredibly warm and lovely person! I've never had such a great experience at See's. She was so helpful and knowledgeable, telling me about products I wasn't aware of and upcoming promotions. Moreover, she was just so competent and friendly that it makes me want to keep coming back to this particular location. Thank you, Margarit!

Delicious chocolates that have creeped up in price. The quality makes them worth it. The staff here are above great but so are the staff an all the other locations I’ve visited. They love their job!

I am not a fan of chocolates but I can eat them if I want something sweet. But my husband is super addicted to this Almond Royal Chocolate from Sees Candies. Every time we go there he will always buy this kind and buy some pieces of the others. It taste good though but I am just not a fan of chocolate.

I think See’s is absolutely amazing. Try an apricot delight in addition to its yummy chocolates. Ty Warren and Charlie and thanks Sees family for making your delightful treats.

I’ve never had a bad experience at See’s in Tustin. The service is always amazing, store is clean and well organized and we all know See’s chocolates are the best. Today’s visit was over the top amazing. Martin was the friendliest ever. I had no idea the actual shopping for candy could be as amazing as the candy itself. He made my whole week! He had me smiling and laughing - that quick run in to grab a few things turned into such a fun time - it’s a great thing when you walk out of a store feeling better than when you walked in. Thank you Martin and thank you See’s.

Always fun to come here with a see's one-pound gift certificate. I have friends who prefer only Bordeaux chocolate; I have no particular favorite, so I always try to choose various assorted chocolate mixes and enjoy the free sample.

I felt like I was in Willy Wonka's storefront kitchen! The store is rather large and exceptionally spic and span. Everything is perfectly organized and all the displays are beautiful and immaculate. The two employees that waited on me were also of confection perfection! They were kind, helpful, patient and all smiles. There was a steady stream of customers, everyone seemed so happy. I'll definitely be going back! Oh, the free sample was lavished upon me even when I didn't ask for one. This company certainly knows how to hold its own thru the ages... Btw, I don't eat sugar and I HIGHLY recommend the dark chocolate/walnut sugar free chocolates! 😋

Wow, the staff here are so kind and helpful! I feel like a kid in a candy store when I come here. Very warm and accommodating staff who have helped us select good gift items, provided us with samples, and even provided us with freebies on the rare occasion which only reinforces our motivation to come back!

Y'all, if you know me, you know that the one sweet treat I can't resist is See's Candies. My location of choice is usually the one in the South Coast Plaza (great spot to stop during a mall walk), but I got a gift card and decided to spread the love a bit and try out a new location. I'm so glad I did because this spot is excellent. Located in the Tustin Marketplace, there is plenty of parking and the space itself is quite large. We came on a Friday night and were immediately greeted by a friendly staff members who offered us our choice of chocolate samples (white, dark, or milk). We went perusing for a few boxes of lollipops and chocolates and then approached the candy counter. So many options here! We ended up getting a small bag in addition to the boxes of goodies we had selected in the store. The cashier was super patient as we figured out how to redeem the e-gift card (unfortunately she had to enter in each number of the pin there was no way to scan it). She also gave us punch card. If you spend more than $40 a month for at least three months, you get a $20 gift card. That's the kind of girl math that just makes sense to me! After cashing out, the cashier gave us TWO samples of their bridge mix. She was so sweet! I had actually never tried it before and am totally converted to the bridge mix now (don't knock it til you try it). It's a great variety and our sample came with lots of molasses chips (one of my faves). I will definitely be back!

Always a great visit when I come. All of the staff are very friendly and provide great service. However, Martin is one of the best! He's very kind and always greets you with a smile.

The location is prime as it has a large parking lot and is situated by Sprout's. I had to go here twice for last minute Christmas gifts and each time I've been there, the staff have been super helpful. I live for the free samples that they offer. My favorite thing to get here are the milk chocolate nuts and chews. I know, I know....everyone loves the dark chocolates but for whatever reason, dark chocolate tastes so bitter to me in comparison. Also, their chocolates are gluten-free so that's a plus for me.

The staff at this See's candy is the most amazing and fun crew I have ever had the pleasure of interacting with. Martin and Shelly assisted me and they were so kind, funny and welcoming. It literally felt like I was coming in to say hi to my friends and at the same time get some great quality candy!! It was the kind of experience that makes a customer come back. I'm so happy that I was craving some candy tonight! If you are in the Tustin area and you need to pick up some See's don't forget to stop in and say hi to Martin and Shelly and the rest of the team.

IT'S XMAS TIME EVERYBODY ! It's that time of the year again when my wife and I buy See's Candies Dark Nuts & Chews. I was always a milk chocolate guy until my wife converted me to the dark side. We popped in here around 2.45pm and it was pretty busy. WHOO HOO ! We usually custom build our Dark Nuts & Chews boxes but one of the male employees told us they have them under the counter. My wife picked out a few fun things for our 2 little grand daughters and then we hit the cashier desk. A very bubbly cashier named Jessica looked after us in perfect fashion. GOTTA LOVE SEE'S CANDIES ! NOTE - Of course with over 22 million views of my Yelp reviews and pics world wide in 2022 I can tell you what is great !

What's great about See's is that the quality and taste never changes. The same delicious chocolates you had as a kid are still here. Ok, well I will digress and say there are a couple of things they've discontinued: Peanut Butter Lollipops and their filled pastel bon-bons. Thankfully the Butterscotch Squares are still here, which is officially described as: "A firm brown sugar, vanilla and heavy cream coated in smooth milk chocolate." This location has good hours and very friendly service.

My favorite place to buy candy!! The employees are so friendly & knowledgeable about the products they're selling. We were also offered samples pretty quickly once we entered the store, which were SO delicious. That blueberry chocolate was to die for! I also love how clean & bright the establishment is, since I can easily see all the chocolates & candies that are available. Thank you so much to the staff members who helped us out & showed us the seasonal options as well! Obviously, the candies were delicious. My favorites are definitely the peppermint chocolates, though. :D

See's always a staple around the holidays. I love the nuts and chews box. You can't beat the quality of a See's chocolate.

Everyone working here has always been so nice. Today Jessica helped me put together two types of custom mix boxes, one with nuts and chews and the other without. She was so sweet and patient. The 1/2 lb boxes cost around ($16-18) and can be gift wrapped. Perfect for teachers, co worker, friends and family! Easy parking, located next to Sprouts.

Absolutely love coming to this See's Candies location here in Tustin Marketplace. I got the opportunity to chat with their senior staff and let me tell you these 2 ladies crack me up. Every time I go here, I end up chatting with them for over 10 minutes. They tell me about the history of See's candies as well as give me samples to try their new flavors. I love coming here because you can customize your box. Whether it's for myself or as a gift it's a great way to select the pieces that you like! They have a new flavor Summertime Hazelnut (hazelnut chocolate soft center with English walnuts) and its quite tasty. I really their rum nougat and their cashew brittle. Pretty much here there is little chocolate that's disappointing. I recently tried their birthday cake candy in which chocolate and it was good too. I prefer dark or milk chocolate so will be sticking to those instead. They even have candy boxes wrappers for you to choose for any occasion : birthday, teachers, baby showers, etc. My favorite one right now is their scene of the golden gate bridge with space needle, palm trees, grand canyon, and statue of liberty. Pretty cool! Current price as of Aug 2022 is now $30.50 per pound!

This please has some of the friendliest human beings on the planet. They are always down to give you samples. Love coming here.

I love this location! I am not a fan of the pre-packaged candy so I appreciate the ability to choose. Service is always very good but I must admit that Margarit is the best! So helpful, so knowledgeable, so patient! I hope management keeps her happy because she is golden!!!

Great, attentive, kind service even during the most busy time of the year. I purchased 3 boxes. Did you know that they gift wrap for free? Had no idea. Either classic black and white check wrapping or Christmas red. Just ask. Saved me some time and effort. Greatly appreciated!! Remember to pick up all the limited seasonal items...cuz when they're gone, they're gone!

Worst Customer Service. Very rude and impatient kept on asking me the same question over and over again. The place is definitely overrated

Needed help this year with purchases. Went into the tustin location for both thanksgiving items and Christmas items. Michelle P met us inside and saw that I needed help. She took the items I had already picked out and took them to the counter for me...then the helped us with our other items -and she gave us a nice sample. She was also great with my children. We left the store and the kids talked about her all the way home. So...we will be back. Parking is super easy here. The store is large and the workers and management keep it stocked. Most of all...the service. The holidays - it's east to be frazzled and Michelle was more that kind and way above and beyond helpful. Im sure the other staff are amazing too, but if you go there and Michelle is working you are in for a treat. Michelle- you're on our Christmas card list!

I've been here multiple times and staff is always friendly... on my last visit Jessica Z. made a great impression with her kindness and willingness to help me pick out the best chocolates for my wife. Highly recommend this store!

What can I say, it's See's Candies. Always fresh and yummy. Service is outstanding. Only words of advice, come several days before Mother's Day, otherwise it's out the door.

Last night my husband and I went to this location and were helped by Peggy and she is the best! She was so friendly and also complimented me on my outfit and her customer service was outstanding. We love this location. See's is so yummy!

I wasn't looking to buy and candy but passing by the open doors, I couldn't resist. I can't remember the last time I bought a box of See's but won't wait that long till the next time. The employee was super friendly and helpful and of course the chocolates were delicious

So after my terrible experience last Friday going into this See's to get Chelsea's and them being completely out of stock on a Friday morning at 11:30 with no one in the store I read the manager's response and decided to give him another chance so I went in on Saturday told the woman I would like a pound box of Chelsea's caramel patties and peanut clusters and I get home and they're not Chelsea's they're chocolate with chocolate no nuts no Chelsea's so apparently this place is passing off chocolate on chocolate as Chelsea's so beware if you're ordering Chelsea's you are not getting what you're paying for! 2 strikes See's!!

I had a wonderful experience here. The ladies were all very helpful and kind. I felt very welcomed and comfortable in the store :) this is the best sees candies location I've ever been to. The store was very clean and neat. Will be coming here again!

Wonderful customer service from Colette (and other staff)! The first thing when I entered the store, an associate walked up to me with a free sample (which they give to all customers) and asked if I needed help. I picked my own box of chocolate and Colette was very informative and gave great tips on what to get and what not to get if chocolate is traveling, etc. She even let me try chocolate that I've never tried before. As with all Sees, they will wrap boxes of chocolate for free! The chocolate (if you haven't tried it before): something for everybody! This is my family's favorite, because we are fans of chocolate with substance (nuts, caramels, etc) rather than the truffle fluffy center variety. That being said, they have a great variety of darks/milk/nuts/caramels/truffles. The chocolate and candy here is more of the "old fashioned" style and not super fancy like perhaps what you would find at Godiva (you're not going to find a "organically sourced. fair-trade, sea salt caramel expresso truffle butter chocolate" here). The best part is you can buy as little or as much as you'd like, of whatever kind you like (by piece), or if you are in a hurry or don't want to self-select they have pre-packaged 1lb and 2 lb boxes in different varieties (Nuts and Chew, milk chocolate, dark chocolate, assorted, etc). Pro Tips: you can request a specific sample if you're hankering to try something, they have mailers with coupons, if you go to costco you can buy gift cards at a discount

Sydney helped my husband, son and me out, and she had the most amazing customer service! She was friendly, helpful, and made us really enjoy our visit. We've decided we'll be visiting at least once a month because of her.

This location is great they have a really large selection it's also in a very nice area . They are in the market place shopping center next to the old navy . The employee here was great she was very nice and helpful. She also knew all the prices and options very well great customer service here !! The chocolate is really good here I had the chocolate walnut and the chocolate cream they both tasted great !! The quality of there chocolate is the best here really good prices as well !! I also like the way they give out free samples when you walk in .

I've always had a soft spot for See's ever since I was a young guy. I confess to sitting and eating an entire one pound box of soft center chocolates one Christmas Day long ago. While these are not the choice for snooty chocolate connoisseurs, I still enjoy them immensely. I came to this location to buy some gifts boxes for family. It's a large store located in The MarketPlace. It's immaculate and organized with plenty of empty space which I would assume is beneficial during their busy seasons. The young woman who was working here was sweeter than the chocolate. Mary See would be proud of the excellent customer service this employee provided. I overheard her dealing with a slightly difficult customer and she handled her perfectly with courtesy and a smile. And yes, she definitely remembered to give me a free sample!

I love Sees Candies in general, but I looove this location because they always give me samples that I like. I try to come up with any excuse to buy boxes "for the kids".

Was here around 5-6 pm Christmas Eve and I was helped by a young male staff, who's service was very disappointing. I can tell he did not want to be there, he had an awful attitude and rude demeanor, not only was he being condescending to my gf, he was touching all our chocolates with his bare hands and was also aggressive when putting our items in the bag, usually i order from the lovely older lady (who he was working along side of) but unfortunately she was busy with another customer. I'd always felt good coming here and excited to order their yummy chocolate but knowing that this rude staff will be here, I have no choice but to now go to a different location.

I went to Sees Candies yesterday. I asked the 3 awesome woman who were working "where is Warren Buffett?" Yep, they all knew why I said that ! The one woman heard me talking to her colleague, "I'm buying these candies for a young lady who was my Dr.of Physical Therapy after I had my knee surgery". She said, I heard you, we have a "Medical Thank you Candy Sleeve" for the candy box you bought. I said, Awesome and Thank you ! Great customer experience with all 3 of these woman I met ! Michelle made our entire day! Great customer service and the chocolate is amazing there wasn't anything we tried that we didn't like. Definitely recommend coming here if you are having a bad day because you can never go wrong with chocolate.

I came in with a gift certificate for a lb of chocolates but wanted to see if I could get 2 1/2 lb boxes WHICH wasn't a problem whatsoever. This location is always so nice and quite. REALLY roomy inside! Sophie helped me that night- she was so kind and soft spoken. She made suggestions for my mother that's currently in ortho and loves her chocolates with nuts inside. Haven't given her the box yet but I'm sure we did good. THANKS SOPHIE! I discovered the peanut butter patties and- uhhhHhHhHh.....no words- I thought I saw a unicorn waving at me....it was that magical! See's... real talk here... you NEED to make that in a dark chocolate version too. Stop catering to the milk chocolate people so much. If you make it, they will come! Come on dark chocolate lovers- we need to unite and make this happen!

The BEST, MOST DELICIOUS Chocolate that I have ever had. I bought so, so, so many for my family during Christmas. The Staff at the Tustin Marketplace was the best. The older Asian lady was so professional and kind and the one at Sand Canyon location also. The Staff there were so nice. Thank you all for providing such excellent service and making my Family have an awesome treat for Christmas.

Everyone here is friendly and helpful. All the See's candies locations offer a free sample and this location does as well. Their milk chocolates and dark chocolates are delicious. Whenever I crave chocolate, I like to buy their chocolate. Truly enjoyable. Great experience every time.

Visited this See's location again and had another great experience! I frequent this location often but usually shop in the evening and this time I went earlier and had the pleasure of being helped by Rosita. She was so friendly and welcoming and full of knowledge. We even discussed a Midwest holiday called Sweetest Day which was my reason for buying chocolates today. She really made this a great experience. Thanks Rosita!

I have been to See's Candy, Laguna Hills three times in the last several months. We already know that they have the best candy, but their sales staff, Victor and Cameron, are truly special. They are always pleasant, courteous and helpful. It is a pleasure to shop there.

A++++++++ CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! i received a box of chocolates from here on valentines day and i had tried one of the chocolates. i realized i didn't want the assorted chocolates and only wanted milk chocolate as i was driving home. i saw a note in the box that said if you aren't 100% satisfied then bring it in and we will give you another box free. so i debated on my drive home and decided to put my pride away and go into the store to see if they would exchange the box and totally understood if they wouldn't. being that it was valentines day it was packed with people, however it was SO organized. one line and side of the store was dedicated to pre-wrapped chocolate boxes and a check out line and another with a line dedicated to staff behind a counter where you can customize the boxes. when i got up to the front the woman was friendly and VERY knowledgable about chocolates. she asked why i wanted to exchange and i let her know i just didn't like nuts and the different chocolates and she saw i had eaten one but said oh i totally get it! some people don't like it. and then exchanged the new box for me and even gave me a new chocolate sample! i have never left so happily from a store. highly recommend and will return in the future :)

I didn't catch her name, but the door greeter today was doing a great job! She maintained a positive and friendly attitude and was very welcoming to everyone in line. Hope she gets promoted out of the sun soon!!

Great experience this morning at sees!! Was greeted by a very friendly young man who helped me find what I was looking for. Michelle rung my peanut brittle up and gave us samples of our choosing. She was just SO wonderful and pleasant to be around. She told me some background on sees and really gave me a new appreciation for the company. Hope she is recognized for the gem that she is!! The chocolates top notch as well :) " California brittle" all the way I'll be back soon.

I must confess. I'm a sucker for chocolates. There are times when I go to Sees by myself, for no particular occasion, and buy a few pieces of chocolate to satisfy my craving. My favorites include caramel pecan clusters and dark chocolate with almonds. Compared to Godiva and Ghiradelli, I feel the prices at Sees are reasonable and you get the chocolate without the fancy gold boxes, which is fine by me when I intend on going home to nom nom on them myself. Parking aplenty here! I like that I can come to this location without having to walk through half the mall to find the store.

I went in to find some apricot bon bons, my dear friends favorite. I was greeted by a smiling clerk with samples. So far so good. I had a question.... clerk with samples smiles and answered my question. Then I met Pauline C. behind the counter. She made me the sweetest box for my friend for Christmas gift, and wrapped it to boot. And smiled. Not the fake-I-have-do-to-this-smile.... a REAL smile. She was nice, healpful, didn't rush. I was.... impressed. And she made ME smile. Then she gave me a sample. Then I was smiling AND happy. Well done, Pauline C., well done.

My husband and I went to See's tonight for some Christmas gifts and our time there was amazing! Everyone was so nice and helpful. The wonderful smell of chocolate was intoxicating! We did quite a bit of sampling and they even wrapped the gifts that we got in pretty holiday paper. Our whole experience was top notch! Can't wait to go back!

It's really hard not to be a fan of See's. The chocolate is always fresh, the staffers are friendly, and it's impossible to walk in the door without receiving at least one free sample :-) Tip: You can either buy a pre-packaged box of chocolates, or ask them to make a custom box just for you and then pick whatever looks good! Bottom line: If what you're after is some really good chocolate and great customer service, then you simply can't go wrong with See's.

I am a sucker for good old fashion chocolates, none of the fancy booze flavored/herbal blends/exotic stuff, just give me see's and I'm a happy girl. This location is HUGE, and has absolutely everything. Staff is pleasant and happy to change the sample to a flavor I like. Selection is always great, never out of anything. Only issue I have is that it is up to $19.90/lb! Ouch, I remember it at $13.00/lb. Don't forget to buy the See's Certificates at Costco first then come here, every penny helps.
