The exterior building is beautifully designed. The interior is very dated with lots of maroon carpet. The seating layout is very strange. There are so many different levels and doors that you can go through. If you’ve never been, it will be confusing. The staff were mostly friendly. The security and head ushers were walking around with scowls on their faces. What knocks this place down to 3 stars, however, is the terrible acoustics for musical theatre. The theatre is a giant cavernous building, and every musical I’ve seen there has a terrible audio mix, but is perfectly fine at Pantages. It’s very hard to hear lyrics of the songs, and the orchestra tends to overpower everything.

Recently, my wife and I attended the Capistrano Unified School District honor band & choir performance. We found ease of parking across Bristol & enjoyed a leisurely stroll across the walkway bridge to the concert venue after being able to drop off our students at the front curb. There were a number of opportunities for dining beforehand & celebrational sweets afterwards. The seats were very reasonably priced - I’m not sure if there is a bad seat anywhere in the house. The only drawback I would say is that during our particular event, refreshments were bottlenecked, limited variety, and higher priced.

Watched Hamilton here. The place was very clean and nice. I just hope there’s more bathrooms bc during intermission we almost didn’t make it back on time bc the line was so long. 2 each floor would be sufficient. Love y’all PLUR

Watched Lion King and Hamilton shows at Segerstrom. Loved both experiences. The steps in the main hall aren't the most friendly for elderly people. Restrooms are only on the top floor and take a while to get to from the Orchestra seats.

My favorite concert hall so far 😍 👌 just love orchestra and ballet and musical events that they host 🥰

Whenever we go it's amazing. Just the prices are getting a little high. And don't forget to bring your binoculars if you sit up in the balcony. But the acoustics are amazing world class.

Wow! This place is beautiful! 😍 I took my 5 & 10 year old daughters to watch Peter Pan the Broadway Musical. It was an amazing experience! We ate at the little outdoor restaurant before hand. Girls loved every second! The view on the patio is beautiful at night.

Yelp
This review is just for Movie Mondays at the Julianne and George Argyros Plaza. This summer tradition is something I look forward to every year. I've attended many of these movie nights with my friends and family, and we've had a wonderful experience every time. The staff are always friendly and helpful. There are fun pre-show activities, food trucks, and George's Café bar is open too which usually has specialty cocktails (and mocktails!) inspired by the movie that's playing. Make sure to bring your own picnic chairs or blankets. Many people also pack their own snacks or food to enjoy before or during the movie. Thank you SCFTA for organizing these free, family-friendly events for the community to enjoy. Already looking forward to next summer!

Yelp
Beautiful Venue for "A Beautiful Noise" Water Fountain Geometric Green In the front About a decade ago, I attended the musical "An American in Paris." I didn't have good impression about this venue, perhaps my seating location was high up, a zig-zag layouts in a maze, this might have affected its acoustics. So I wasn't keen to come back. Yesterday, I attended the Neil Diamond Musical "A Beautiful Noise" I was in Orchestra section, right at the center. wow, what a difference in the listening and visual experience. The Show was a fun event. The auditorium was full of energy, audience gave an enthusiastic ovation. For my next visit, I will make sure to get a good seat at this venue. Ha! Money does talk.

Yelp
Beautiful venue. I've seen a Broadway show here but this review is for the FREE public tours they offer multiple times a week. You can book reservations for the tour online (10 AM start) and trained docents will take you all throughout the facility and show you how the center works behind-the-scenes. I learned so much about the center's intricate details, architecture, and groundbreaking features that make it one of the premier performing arts centers in the country. I opted for a Saturday morning tour and there were about 10 of us total in the group. The tour lasted about 90-minutes and we went through the Segerstrom Hall, Concert Hall, and other areas of the center that is typically closed off to the public during operating hours. We even got to go on stage! Really cool and educational for all ages. Highly recommend. Usually for free parking I park at South Coast Plaza and walk across the street or walk over the bridge.

Yelp
This is a stellar venue for Broadway performances. Sound quality is outstanding. I recently saw A Beautiful Noise, the story of Neil Diamond, here. It was phenomenal! I've only had good seats reserved, but it appears that all seats have a good view of the stage. My only complaint is the same with the majority of venues: the ladies' room always has an extremely long line. I'd like to suggest to planners, designers, architects and builders that they construct the ladies' room to be twice the size of the men's room.

Yelp
What a beautiful place. Everything looked clean and well taken care of. The seats we had weren't the best seats, but there was an obstruction. Luckily there were empty seats around us that we were able to move to for a better viewpoint. I thought the ushers would have told us to move back to our original seats, but they were nice enough and understanding to let us move into those open seats. I would come back here for another event, but I wouldn't pick the seats we had ever again.

Yelp
I was thoroughly impressed with my experience taking in a Saturday Matinee performance at Segerstrom Center for the Arts, however there are a couple of things I think they can improve on. My wife and I saw Mamma Mia in the theater and we had a great time. We were seated towards the back and had no issues with hearing and the sound system seemed stellar. The ambiance was like we were at a broadway play. The service of the people at the entrance in scanning tickets and telling you where the relevant door was, was quite a nice touch as well. The one thing I have to call out is the food options. They only had snacks and extremely overpriced drinks. A small glass of wine was $22 which is wildly overpriced. They also only had candy and brownies/cookies and was disappointed they didn't have pre made sandwiches or something else. I understand they have a couple of sit down restaurants but that was confusing as well because the website indicated that they had a couple of restaurants on the premises but the ushers were confused when I referenced the places from the website to them. Either way, more food options and slightly lower prices would be nice but overall had a great time and glad we have such a high quality performing arts venue in Orange County

Yelp
I have had the pleasure of experiencing shows here for the past several years. Orange County is blessed to have such a beautiful facility as this: a venue that has consistently offered exceptionally well-performed shows. Watching "Life of Pi" was my most recent experience here and, Oh My" what a show! I, too, have been to Hollywood's Pantages theater and I enjoy this venue quite a bit more. For those wanted to purchase season tickets and for those desiring a treat on a special occasion, I highly recommend the Segerstrom Center.

Yelp
Visited here several times for plays. This visit to see Peter Pan. Tickets at will call were an easy pick up. We really enjoyed the show the performances were fun and witty. It was a genius way to portray flying. Concessions with drinks and snacks readily available. Charging stations had various phone plugs to get some power plug in time. Patio space to get some air during intermission. Arriving a little early, we ventured around the grounds to see the other sides of segerstrom. Beautiful venue! Parking was a breeze with valet.

Yelp
My girlfriend had tickets for Hamilton. I'd been wanting to see it for years so I jumped at the chance to go with her. Honestly I haven't been a fan of the Segerstrom center in the past. I don't like all of the different tiers, it feels like there are a dozen different balconies. Fortunately wr had great seats, bottom level off to the right but not terribly far from center. The show was good and sitting in the lowest section was a better experience than I have had in the past. I'd go back if I have seats in the lowest section. Otherwise I'll pass and see the show at another venue.

Yelp
Was fortunate that my friends treated me to a musical for my birthday. Was here in January to watch a matinee showing of Back to the Future: the Musical. My husband dropped me off so I can't tell you how the parking is like in the structure. However there are nice, helpful staff outside directing patrons where to go. The theater is beautiful with an elegant feel. All the staff are kind. Restrooms were clean. Seating was comfortable. During intermission, there are snacks at the concession stand which are venue prices. One of my friends brought her own plastic water bottle in her purse. Shh! Don't tell anyone. Haha. I purchased a bag of Smart popcorn and a large cookie. That hit the spot and held me over until dinner time. The hubby and I stayed in the local area and the theater is super close to the Avenue of the Arts hotel. A delightful visit to a wonderful theater. If choosing between Pantages in Hollywood versus here in Orange County, Segerstrom for the win!

Yelp
This is a huge performing arts building. It holds thousands of people. We had an unobstructed view of the stage, but legroom was limited. The volume of the performance was deafening. Good thing I had my Heroes ear buds. Show was "A Beautiful Noise " about Neil Diamond. They sang and danced to his music .

Yelp
I've seen several productions at Segerstrom Center for the Arts, and it has always been a smooth and pleasant experience. The venue is modern, clean, and well maintained, with comfortable seating and solid acoustics. It is not my personal favorite, but I do appreciate how easy it is to access. Parking is convenient, and the layout makes it simple to get in and out without any hassle. It is a solid choice for catching a show in Orange County, and I have enjoyed the performances I've seen there.

Yelp
Visited Segerstrom Center for the Arts for VIBE Dance Competition, and wow did it not disappoint! The acoustics inside were amazing, and the appropriate staff were all well placed. As an added bonus, signal in the auditorium is difficult, and there's no Wi-Fi. However, there's Wi-Fi once you exit which - in my opinion - is a HUGE plus to get the audience's eyes off their phones. (Of course, if you have matters you must tend to, you may step outside to the lobby for a few minutes.)

Yelp
I was pleasantly surprised at how nice this venue is. I came to see my best friend's daughter in Kimberly Akimbo which was fabulous. No wonder it won several Tony awards. It seems that every seat has a good view of the stage, at least in the Orchestra section. I chose aisle seats because of my husband's handicap and was even more happy to be able to reach our seats with very limited stairs. The sound quality was very good, the seats were comfortable and the stage view, like I said, was good as well.

Yelp
Came here last night for the very first time to see Life of Pi. The theater is gorgeous both inside and outside. It's huge and spacious and well maintained. It was easy to navigate once inside and the theater staff were helpful. The seats were very comfortable and the view was great. The show itself had great acting and a superb use of the stage. I really felt transported to a different place while watching it. The light and sound design were also great. I loved how they had cute photo ops on every level. It was easy to get in and out of the theater and they had a lovely outdoor courtyard where you could lounge before or after the show. The drinks there also looked enticing. I would definitely return to see another show. Parking was easy with a parking lot conveniently located across the street as well as valet parking in front of the theater.

Yelp
Segerstrom is currently staging the Neil Diamond musical "A Beautiful Noise." It traces the story of Neil getting into the business as a songwriter before being pushed into becoming a successful singer. Beautiful songs played throughout the show. And you get to sing along Sweet Caroline at the end.
google avatar

Yelp
In all aspects this venue is better than The Saban. However, the air conditioning was lacking, the seats felt narrow, and the sound was a little muffled. Before the pandemic, the AC here always blasted. The place remains clean and lovely, and patrons are still well-behaved. It's a decent place for shows, but personally, I'm just done with tight seating.
google avatar

Yelp
USED TO be good. Now people are allowed in the entire show so you spend $200+ to have people walking over you with their cell flashlights on even AFTER intermission. Yes people are late but it's up to STAFF to enforce the rules AND THEY DON'T. People also are on their phones, again staff allowing it. Taking FaceTime calls, talking LOUD, staff does nothing. This went to crap, your better off at a family movie theatre. And it's cheaper.

Yelp
1st time attending the Segerstrom Center. Beautiful inside and outside. I came to see A BEAUTIFUL MUSIC-- starring "Neil Diamond". Talented actors !

Yelp
We came to see Avatar the Last Airbender Live with their orchestra and it was amazing! We had so much fun and recommend if they ever come back to the area. We did park at their structure just because it was more convenient and you did have to pay for parking. We easily walked across their connecting bridge and went right into the check in line for security. All the employees were super welcoming and really nice. We were able to find our seats right away and there were some options for drinks and snacks but they were pricey. Once it was intermission, the line for the restroom can get rather long, no matter what floor we were on. We hope to watch more shows here in the future.

Yelp
I cannot say enough positive things about this place! It's a gem of its' own kind here in Orange County--beautiful, especially at night when the lights are on and the sound of the water fountain, it feels like a dream standing amongst the buildings and walking through the inside interior. It's gorgeous and classy in my opinion. Extremely clean and well maintained. The staff are great: professional, nice, helpful, & efficient! I haven't come across anyone unfriendly or unhelpful here. The staff seem to have a higher set of professional standards than some other places I've been to in this area. I recall a restaurant inside the venue and a bar to order drinks and light snacks. Paid Parking structures are available as well. I've had the pleasure of seeing a few shows here: Comedy: Hasan Minaj, Off With His Head and Kevin Hart, Brand New Material. Both of these comedians are amongst some of my favorites and they did not disappoint!!! Musical: Mandy Gonzalez & Javier Munoz in Hitting New Heights at the Segerstrom. I enjoy all things Broadway and a softie for any type of musical performances. These two performed some well known Broadway songs and it was incredible! This summer, I'm surprising some little humans with a Bluey Live show here. I have no doubt that the experience will be nothing short of spectacular!

Yelp
Story time... Anyone who knows Michael, knows he freaking LOVES Back to the Future. Like REALLY loves it. lol Every year he "makes" me watch it. Sometimes, he'll even suggest the trilogy. However, the 1st one is his fave. He can literally quote the whole movie. Has brought me to all the filmingspots and points out which scenes were taped at that spot. He's a geek about it really. It's kinda cute. Kinda. Well, in June my SIL, Natalie saw an advertisement for it playing in MN and sent me it. I immediately looked to see where else it was playing and it was actually going to be at @hollywoodpantagestheatre on his actual birthday-November 24th. So I bought the tickets then. Remember, this was June. Unfortunately Pantages routes you to buy the tickets thru @ticketmaster Well, I was getting nervous that my tickets kept saying "they'll be delivered the day of the event" and checked on them often. Still with that notification showing the day before, I called cause I was nervous and was told "I could get them minutes before the event". With me trying that, we drove to LA, paid $40 for parking, waited anxiously outside and kept refreshing for our tickets. Nothing. I called Ticketmaster since the show was about to start and was told to keep waiting. WTF. I did and nothing came and it was too late to just buy more tickets. I was pissed! Called and bitched. At least they freaking refunded me but when I asked to speak to a Manager, they give you a link...Yes a link to a board to complain. So I did and holy cow, was there a SEA OC the same complaints for TONS of shows and concerts. Like A LOT, A LOT! A lot from Taylor Swift thousands of dollar tickets. Then my sister saw that @segerstromarts was going to be showing Back to the Future as well. I was stoked to redeem his birthday and purchased tickets. I'm soooo glad I did cause he LOVED it! Seeing him so stoked (he doesn't care for musicals but this made him lol) made all that caca the first time worth it. I'll always try to watch a show at Segerstrom vs Pantages now. It's overrated! Plus parking and the commute to Costa Mesa is 10/10 better than LA. Thanks Segerstrom.

Yelp
We visited for The Nutcracker. It was such a fun venue, bars available, not a bad seat in the place. Attendants were incredibly helpful with drinks, getting to our seats, and the entire experience. Beautiful venue.

Yelp
Amazing Hamilton production 2025 was a fantastic experience. Building and personnel offered great service. I've already purchased tickets for family to enjoy another performance this summer!

Yelp
This is a suberb venue for seeing music and shows. Most recently, we saw Monty Alexander at the smaller venue. We were on the balcony and all the seats were set up in nightclub style, making it feel more intimate. The show was spectacular and easy to view. We could order cocktails and have them served, too which made it fun. On other occasions, I've come with groups of school students to watch music and special entertainment (a science guy). They can transform the place to fit the artist. Well worth coming to and beautiful architechture!

Yelp
What a night! Celebrated Valentine's Day with the Lion King. The show was PHENOMENAL and the performers not only leveraged the stage, but the aisles and overhangs / ledges during the show. We had PERFECT seats (Orchestra Row J, seats 28 & 29) which were a little pricey ($179 each, purchased directly from the venue), but they included a VIP gift bag and collectible program book. The show is running for another 10 days and tickets are hot, so I highly recommend getting tickets sooner rather than later - I fell for a ticket scam before snagging these gems on the venue site just hours before the show, so I encourage you to buy direct or through a verified reseller. We made the choice to use a Lyft to get to the venue (we live in Costa Mesa, so ride share didn't break the bank) and were so glad we did! We avoided the mess of parking and were able to get right to the entrance. There were multiple security lines that went very quickly, and mobile tickets helped us get right in to the venue. We got inside at 7:10 and the show started at 7:30, so we had a chance to get some adult beverages prior to the start. The venue is STOCKED with multiple bars AND (unlike other venues) allows you to bring your drinks into the actual theater to enjoy during the performance. Our friendly bartender Josie even reminded us to order a second round of drinks for pickup at intermission which was clutch - we avoided the lines and had our drinks and a snack waiting for us. Because we were on the orchestra level, we didn't have to do much walking, but for the other levels there are stairs and elevators to get to the top. The venue wraps around, and the layout helps with not feeling like you're cattle as you're passing through. With all that said, we would absolutely come back for another show. Next time I want to come a little earlier try the onsite dining options. Will report back!

Yelp
My brother and I watched Hadestown last night. We definitely loved the show, the actors, actresses and the musical score. We got amazing seats thanks to Lucky Seats. We can't wait for the next show !
google avatar

Beto R.

Yelp
Saw Mrs. Doubtfire and the ambience is nice. They had snacks and drinks which I had none, since you know how a little can of Pringles are there 0_0 $$$. The audio in the theater isn't good, we can barely hear the performers in our section. Saw this in another theater and it was way better, and for the price of the tickets too $$$ that was a bit disappointing. That's why they get 3 stars. Fix your audio Segerstrom!

Yelp
What a great place to watch a musical. Feel like most views from orchestra seats were good. I sat in row R which had a pretty solid view for a very reasonable price. I came to watch lion king the musical and the show was so good. Bathrooms were conveniently close and good amount of intermission was given to go. Note: Parking is great here. They have a parking lot that's like $15 but you can easily park at South Coast Plaza and walk over in like under 5 minutes for free. I parked here (33.693009,-117.885778), punch these coordinates in google maps and you should be good.

Yelp
Saw Mrs . Doubtfire. Show was very good. Staff were all great. If you haven't signed up for theirckuckyvseat promotion do it. Tix were $35 each. Soooo much fun.

Yelp
This is one of my favorite place for music and classical concerts! I have been here a few times and sat at pretty much everywhere. Each location does give a different experience and it really depends on what you come here to enjoy. I was recently here for Gluzman and will be back for Vivaldi and Strauss to start the New Year. Everyone here has always been so professional and nice and sometimes I do go to upper level to get my wine or drinks because the line is shorter. If you come during Christmas time, it is so beautiful. Even though I live in OC, my bf and I already would book a room (rotate between the three Marriott hotels) to make the experience greater. The best place to stay would be the Westin because it is right across from the Segerstrom and if you get the room with the view of the Segerstrom, during Christmas time you will see the Christmas tree view right outside. When we went for Gluzman it was one week before they had the Christmas tree out (well they had it out already but no lights) so if you can see from my photo, our hotel room view you can see the Christmas tree but since there was no light, you can barely see it lol.

Yelp
I've always loved this place. It's a way better option for Broadway shows than going all the way to Hollywood's Pantages which we used to do. This has a better ambiance, better parking options, wonderful service. On our last show (Peter Pan Musical), however, we were very disappointed with the bars. On the first floor, we bought 2 double vodka sodas and it cost us $82 with tip! This is the second time this happened to us- the machine seems to "malfunction" and automatically generates a certain percentage for tips. We just left and thought it was no big deal..we love the place anyhow. On the third floor bar, we asked the bartender how we can pick up the order that we placed on the first floor- we wanted to get our drinks during intermission- and behold, we met the rudest staff in the building ! She was at first indifferent, and when we asked follow up questions she raised her voice! We were shocked! We asked for her name, we learned it's Mina, and left the place jokingly saying "someone has a bad day" (we were very embarrassed!), but really Segerstrom..you can certainly do with better bartenders.

Yelp
Beautiful venue with great acoustics. Lots of seating options to enjoy any show. Most of them are all good and can visibly see the stage. As expected, drinks and snacks are pricey. Valet parking is $30. There is self parking too.

Yelp
Wonderful venue to come and see some incredible shows!! They've got great lineups every year and tons of stuff for all ages. Friendly staff, super convenient location with both paid parking and free parking close by.

Yelp
Beautiful arts center, gorgeous inside, comfortable seating. Well managed, security screening moves quickly and the staff inside were all kind and helpful. We saw the Lion King which was exceptional. Plenty of paid parking or Valet. Nice restaurants nearby.

Yelp
The theater is huge. Parking structure is right next door so it's not bad at all. Handicap parking is questionable though so I had to valet park for $30 plus a $10 tip bec they had our car waiting at the end of the night so we weren't waiting on them :-) There's an outdoor bar area that we thought valet pointed to for us to have a sandwich but we only seen drink menu hanging behind the bar so mil asked bartender about food and she was clueless and asked guy in back room. I asked the gentleman if the restaurant was there and pointed and he said yes. Ended up in Leatherby's Cafe Rouge which is finer dining than what we wanted. Our waiter was not friendly and that's a whole other review....walking out of a shitty dinner we see a sidewalk menu in front of the bar we were at and that's exactly what we were looking for!!!! Disappointing. Why didn't the bartender or guy tell us they offer food!?! It was cold out so that would have sucked to eat outside but it would have been better food and satisfying. Now onto the theater. Here for Annie 7:30pm show on Tuesday February 18th. This is my gift to my mother in law who cannot walk and is getting ready to have both knees and hips replaced. I kept calling the theater to speak to someone about where to sit and never got ahold of anyone. I live in dtlb so it's not close enough to just pop in during business hours. I finally order seats online after trying to figure where we would sit. Well, they were the wrong seats. My mil had to walk 100 stairs more than once bec these seats aren't as easy access as it looked on the map. She suffered going down the stairs and back up the stairs....not to mention you cannot see the left side of the stage from our seats and if you have bad sight, definitely do not buy these seats! Bathroom issues? Do not buy these seats. The lady usher for our area was awesome though and gave us suggestions for the future. I wish I would have asked her name bec she is an asset to you all and shout out to her and her 78 year old self! At intermission I decided to see if we could upgrade our seats so mil has no stairs and easier access to restroom. Our awesome usher said yes let's see what we can do and took us to the floor head usher Melina who got us moved just in time for the 2nd half. Going from Door 26 row O seats 139 & 140 (super bad) to Floor OT Door 15 Row W seats 109 & 110 made a Huge difference!!!! Thank you all for getting us where we should have been and now I know where I MUST buy seats at this facility. I honestly left feeling like I probably wouldn't return bec we had issues with handicap parking causing us to valet, food, and too many stairs. But because of the staff alone we will probably attempt another play here utilizing the HARD KNOCKS we had....hahaha. I cannot give more than 3 stars this visit but am willing to re-evaluate if we return even though the 2 ushers we spoke to deserve 5 stars!!!!

Yelp
This place is amazing. Standing ovation for its amazing architecture, accommodations, we absolutely loved it. I watched "The Book of Mormon" here before and recently saw "Funny Girl" for my sister's birthday over the weekend. We ordered some water, she had her alcoholic birthday beverage, she ordered and I paid, that's all I remembered! We sat at Loge rows O and P which is a little farther up than I expected, better to use the elevator, we took the stairs but it was a surprise for my sister so I had no idea where we were sitting. Still was an awesome show and experience. The interior had plenty rows of red seats. They did a wonderful job designing this theater. I can't wait to go back again and sit a little closer, the ticket pricing is fairly decent too. We had to get a ticket last minute and they accommodated us very nicely.

Yelp
I've lived near the Segerstrom Center for the Arts for years and have always appreciated having such a great venue nearby. However, I'm extremely disappointed by something my 6th grade daughter experienced during a recent field trip. She was called "disrespectful and embarrassing" by one of the employees--all because she was waiting to use the restroom. This was very upsetting for her, especially since she's never had anything like this happen before. I fully believe her account. I wasn't there myself, but based on her description, the employee was a tall, thin, white woman, possibly in her 50s or 60s, with short gray hair. What made this worse was that her friend, who is light-skinned with blonde hair, walked by the same employee and was met with a smile and a kind interaction. No child should be treated this way, especially in a space meant to inspire creativity, learning, and inclusivity. This kind of behavior is unacceptable, and I hope Segerstrom takes situations like this seriously moving forward.

Yelp
My wife and I attended the American Ballet Theatre production of Woolf Works here. The ballet was outstanding, the venue was outstanding, the staff were friendly and helpful. It's a truly first-rate, world-class performing arts center. And of course, near it is the Renee and Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall, the Samueli Theater, the Orange County Museum of Art and lots of dining options at the South Coast Plaza. I'll definitely make more of an effort to see more shows here. We're very lucky to have a center this good in our county.

Yelp
This is a review of the Segerstrom Center, not the plays themselves. I've never been to a theater where I've had to smell the fruity alcoholic drinks brought in by people from the lobby and imbibed during Act One. There is nothing like hearing multiple cans of Pringles being open during Act two, which were also bought in the lobby and brought in after intermission, along with the sound of candy bar wrappers and seeing empty water bottles left behind on the floor. In addition, after intermission latecomers wander in once the play has started, disrupting the viewing experience. Why aren't they held in the lobby until a break can be found? There is such a lack of training and protocol with the ushers, that I'm not even sure why they have them. All in all this is a pretty low class place, which is unfortunate because the Broadway touring productions as well as all the musical artists that come through come in with the expectation that there's going to be a higher standard set by the management.

Yelp
The acoustics here are awful. We had decent seats and the backtrack was awful. I was so excited to see my favorite musical Hamilton and it costs way more than it was worth. Also a $23 glass of wine is ridiculous

Yelp
Additionally, the women's bathrooms were insufficient for the "intermission"--extra long lines that didn't end before the play began again.

Yelp
I watched Lion King here a couple months and loved the experience. Segerstrom is beautiful, spacious, and clean. The workers are courteous and friendly. There are multiple counters for snacks and beverages so you usually do not need to wait in a long line. I find the show prices are usually slightly cheaper than Pantages. Parking is only $15, which is a steal compared to $40 at Pantages!!

Yelp
Came here for a show: Peter Pan. This place never disappoints. For its size - quite large - it creates an environment that can make feel you up close and personal.

Yelp
Visited this place for the nutcracker show and it's such an easy in and out with lots of parking. They don't have place to eat, just a small concession stand. Bathrooms are nice and clean. It's a very well kept place and definitely my go to art places to see different kind of shows

Yelp
i tried to download gifted tickets. Could not even start until two hours before; what If I am not home? When I did start I found it to be the least user friendly site I have encountered in a while, and there is no way to print them anyway. If you have tickets for the orchestra I believe the washroom it is on the second floor. Not very guest friendly place, to say nothing of the parking and access for handicapped. Difficult to figure out exactly the seats you got. Otherwise, nice place. Somebody should review the burdensome electronic site.

Yelp
Great venue to watch shows. Came here most recently to see Mean Girls, which was a fun experience. You can park for free at the South Coast Plaza and walk or you can pay for parking there. There's plenty of restrooms on each level and there's also a balcony if you need some fresh air. The staff was helping. In terms of ticketing, you need to login to your Sergerstrom account and use the dynamic QR code for your tickets (screenshots will not work). Seating is comfortable and even though we sat on the mezzanine, we still had a good view of the stage. The LED screens used during the performance were quite bright and it was cool to see that incorporated into a musical. Seeing shows always makes for a nice time, and it's a great venue for the OC.

Yelp
My friend paid $172 to see Bernadette Peter's and this was our view what could you improve? Don't charge so much for front seats if you cannot have the proper view without a darn speaker in your face $172 of pieces ridiculous shame on you.

Yelp
I've seen several performances here (most recently Hamilton & Life of Pi). Don't waste your time & money, unless you can afford to sit dead-center. The acoustics anywhere else in the theater are so bad that I couldn't hear the dialogue. Unfortunately, that turns a special night out into a huge disappointment.
