There is nothing better than sitting outside and enjoying excellent Mexican food. Tree-lined patio with many outside tables. I totally enjoyed fish tacos with Garden Salad. It's a popular place, so go early. By the way, they have great ice tea.

Google
The two types of salsa they provided with the chips was the best I have ever had! I had the burrito enchilada style and it was excellent. I am just in Tucson for a short visit so definitely will go back before I leave and when I am back in town.

By the time we placed our order to the time we were served there was maybe a 5 to 7 minute wait. The food was amazing. Big portions. We had the crispy fish tacos and a large plate of nachos. (Don't underestimate the nachos)

Delicious! I haven't been here in several years. The area has been overtaken by hipsters, so I was honestly a little worried that the authenticity or serving sizes or prices may have been affected. It was very busy, but the line moved quickly. The food was fresh and delicious, and serving sizes were generous. We had a mix of vegetarians and omnivores in our group, and everyone loved their meal.

Google
Beautiful place/plaza to enjoy your meal and take a little walk around. The 3 stars are for the tacos, it’s good but not as delicious as it could be at another authentic Mexican restaurant. The nachos were top tier and huge, to share with 2-4 people (the fav dish). Chicharrones were perfect. The mini chimichangas were also not the best personal enjoyment, dry pork with nothing else inside, very simple despite the sauce and guac on top. Their seasonal plates are probably more enjoyable (the pozole from the last season was super delicious). The prickly pear drink which was also seasonal, was super delicious. It is possible the other plates would be more yummy but I might stick to the nachos. It is also quite economical with quality food. The fish tacos were so good as well (shrimp & Atlantic Cod). Certainly a beautiful place.

We came here on a recommendation from a friend. Perhaps Mondays for lunch isn’t the best time because it seems 90% of the other restaurants in the area are closed. So, we had a pretty long slow moving line. Just a little over two hours from getting in line to finishing the meal. I had the nachos with pierce verde added. My food was great. I thought the pork was seasoned great. My wife only ate the insides of her tacos, the shells were pretty saturated in oil. Daughter had a burrito that ended up being cold in the middle, there was like a chuck of solid cold cheese as well, zero melt on it. But my son-in-law had tacos al pastor that he said was really good. The meat pieces were a little larger than he was use to but he said it was good. So I guess for us the food was 50/50. I would give them another chance for sure. Oh, the churros were very good. I would have liked the caramel sauce to be warm, but even with the room temperature sauce they were good.

Google
First the tacos are fantastic! Order at the counter and they will assign you a bistro table on the patio. Chips and two kinds of salsa were brought to the table. The salsas were not spicy at all. You could taste a flavor difference but they were both mild. We ordered six tacos, Poc Chuc, Crispy Avocado, Calabacitas, Al Pastor, Puerco Verde, and Grilled Shrimp. All of them were great. The only issue we had was my husband asked for corn on his 3 and I asked for flour on my 3 and they made all six on flour. Pricing is a little funny. If you mix and match your price is closer to $6 per taco or $18 even if you buy all of the ones that say 3 for $15. The patio is great with a few spots in the shade and lots of tables in the sun. Perfect for a sunny January day. Stay close to your food or you may have an unexpected lunch date. Meet stumpy (see picture).

Google
THIS LOCATION DOES NOT HAVE ALCOHOLIC DRINKS. However you can get drinks from the restaurant next door and they made a great mezcal margarita. The food was fantastic! Great flavors, big portions. Loved the two salsas.

Yelp
We are so excited to have a Seis Kitchen on the east side! It's only been open a couple weeks and is already being discovered. The food is just as good as I remember at the Mercado location--wonderful salsas and seasonings. Plan to wait a bit in line to order; they could use more help at the cash register, though staff is very friendly. Patrons are directed to a numbered table; we waited about 15 minutes for our order. The decor is the only thing I found a bit odd: it looks like a First Watch inside with bright lights and a combination of booths and tables. I was surprised to see TVs. I would have expected a bit nicer ambiance considering the great food.

Yelp
Overall 3.5 Stars With two locations, we decided to try the Menlo Park location. It has an open courtyard with more of a modern vibe. Outside sitting shared with two other restaurants, a coffee and a bakery establishments. Ordering is different than we are use to. You pick up a menu, order at a window, select your table with an assigned number and wait for your food. After you order the food and would like more, you use a QR Code that is provided, input your table number, and wait for the food or drinks. If this is your first time at the place, then remember the following: 1. You don't have a dedicated server / waiter. Ordering is done at the window or QR Code. 2. TIP is not requested. This was nice option. It seems they are adopting the European / Japanese concept of incorporating the TIP into the price of the menu items. 4 Stars Ambiance - Mexican Modern Vibe with ONLY outdoor seating. There are misters for those hot days or nights. Several natives trees give a little bit of shade with ambient lighting. Great courtyard to drink your coffee, pastry, breakfast, lunch and dinner. Easy to socialize and have a conversation. Service 3.25 Stars - Staff were friendly and willing to help but not having a dedicated server can hinder when you are waiting for refills or remove the dishes. We kinda' had to make space on our table to move the dishes away. 3 - 4.25 Stars Food Some of the menu options were better than others. Breakdown: 1. 3.75 Stars Chicken Tinga Burrito - Enchilada Style - large burrito stuffed with a lot of stuff but the center part was cold. 2. 4.25 Stars Mexican Style Quesadilla w calabicitas (sauté veggies) - shredded pork verde filled with cheese 3. 4 Stars Surf and Turf Burrito - a hefty large burrito that will fill you up. Filled with black beans, carne asada, shrimp, rice, avocados and served w condiment of shredded cabbage. The flavor was good but better w the salsas. 4. 3.5 Stars Surf and Turf Tacos - Tacos filled with steak and shrimp served on three corn tortilla. It was flavorful but the tortillas were oily coming from the pan. Wasn't crunchy- they were soft tacos. 5. 3.5 Tacos - deep fried fish, Al Pastor (pork) and Adobe Steak. Flavorful but they were soft instead of crunchy tortillas. Appetizers: 4.25 Stars Guacamole - freshly made but needed a little bit more acidity and salt. Large portion served w chips 3 Stars - the Queso wasn't great. It tasted grainy and lukewarm. Disappointed with it. I still recommend the place because of the vibe, knowing the process on how to order, and to avoid the Queso.

Yelp
The food wasn't bad, and the concept of being outdoors in the square of a shopping complex was nice. I thought overall the food could all have been better. It was a pretty heavy and relied too much on quantity, in my opinion. I'm also not a huge fan of counter service and thought it was expensive for that type of restaurant. I also expected margaritas, but it was a dry restaurant.

Yelp
Whhhhhhaaaaatttt a vibe ! Highly recommend the evening outdoor experience. Everything in this menu is fresh & yummy . I had the vegan calabacitas taco option (no cheese ) . The basic bean burrito is so perfect ! Chips and salsa were delicious as well . Loveeee this place !

Yelp
I've only been here for breakfast and it is a 10/10. You have to stand in line to order at the window and then they give you a number to put on your table and when your food/drinks are ready they bring it out to you. For what it's worth, when I went there on a Tuesday around 10am there was basically no line, but I could see how the line could get out of hand on a weekend or a super popular time. The seating area is outside in an open courtyard which is really quite lovely. I had the prickly pear agua fresca to drink which was the most insane vibrant pink color and absolutely delicious and refreshing. To eat, I had the chilaquiles (one of my favorite breakfast dishes) and it was fantastic. The salsa had so much flavor and a good amount of spice without being too spicy. The chilaquiles were cooked perfectly, still a little crisp but also a bit al dente--the right Goldilocks texture :) The beans that it came with were also really well seasoned and tasty and the tiny potatoes were the perfect complement to balance it all out. I came here on a whim. It wasn't a place originally on my radar but I saw it had good reviews and just gave it a shot and omg I'm so glad I did. It really was one of my favorite meals in Tucson!

Yelp
Seis kitchen is a familiar go to on the west-side. This particular location is my favorite as it has a great patio and is a favorite for people watching. This visit, I tried the Mexico-City style quesadilla with cheese and green chilies (vegetarian), with an included side of calabacitas. It was excellent! I think this is my new favorite menu item here. It's the right combination of textures with crispy cheese chicharrones and soft chilies and cheese, and the seis sauce on top ties it all together. Entrees now come with free chips and salsa, which is just a bonus. I didn't get a drink this time but Seis also has great agua frescas, and if you're coming for breakfast don't miss the "Cochata" or cold brew mixed with horchata- delicious!

Yelp
I'm not really sure where to start..... it's kind of upscale counter ordering... upscale in looks, not service. There is always a line, so be prepared to wait... sometimes, it doesn't really seem like they should be that busy, but there is still a line. They don't seem well prepared to handle so many people. You are assigned a table. And then you wait, a lot longer than typical counter service... Ordered chips and guac, hoping I could snack on that until food came, but it took over 30 minutes just to get that, then food came 2 minutes later... But the food is good! It's mess, but fresh and flavorful. But don't expect any service beyond that... I wanted to take my left overs to go, but never saw anyone again...

Yelp
I've been visiting Seis Kitchen for over six years, so this review is long overdue. The tacos here are always good--Al Pastor is my favorite. This time, I tried the wahoo fish taco. It was decent but would have been a better choice for summer, as its flavor profile suits warmer weather. While the food is consistently good, the service, order line and seating leave much to be desired. During winter, the patio can get chilly with even a mild breeze, though it's ideal in summer (as long as it is below 100). They don't serve alcohol, but you can grab drinks from the open patio bar at Augustine Kitchen. I would recommend this as a decent casual lunch place. This visit, we ordered the 3-taco combo, enchilada-style quesadillas (no meat) with cilantro rice and beans, churros, and strawberry lime horchata. The food met expectations, but service was slow. Our churros didn't arrive until long after we finished eating, despite requesting they be served with the meal. We eventually had to ask for them to-go, and the server seemed indifferent.

Yelp
Unfortunately my partner and I went and we did not have a good experience. We bought burritos $20 each , very over priced! The service was bad. We had asked for some tap water and they told us we would have to go back and pay . Even tho while ordering they had given free water to other people in front of us . One worker said to pay the other said water was free. Yeah they are weird .idk

Yelp
Wow. Excellent plentiful Mexican in a fun little adobe courtyard. Order at the counter and they assign you a seat in the garden courtyard. Did I say plentiful? Bring your appetite!
google avatar

Jonny C.

Yelp
Was on a roadtrip with my dog and needed somewhere to stop and eat for the night. To be quite honest I wasn't in the mood for Mexican as I live in San Antonio and have a lot of great Mexican there. But it was open late and dog friendly and I was super happy I took the chance. It's located in a cute courtyard area with some other shops and restaurants. I grabbed a cocktail from another place nearby and was assigned a table after ordering at the seis window. The employee working was super friendly and gave me some recommendations. I ended up with the surf and turf burrito and chicharrons. Everything tasted awesome. The salsa was filled with flavors though less on the spices and more on the herbs. The burrito was mouth watering and devoured in minutes. I'm not sure I would've finished the whole thing if I hadn't skipped lunch. I still have to make the drive back after the holidays and this might have to be a stop I make along the way.

Yelp
Over all ok, very very busy, does not serve alcohol at the restaurant. Service was fine for how busy it was. Outdoor seating is cool except when it's so windy.

Yelp
The 45 minute wait in line was rough but the tacos are great! Lunch for two with a couple of Agua Fresca runs around $50 and they have a nice courtyard area for seating.
google avatar

Jenna F.

Yelp
I really enjoy eating at Seis! The food is incredible and the aqua frescas are perfect during the warmer months in the desert. However, you do have to be prepared to sit outside and most likely wait in a longer line for a table. Almost every time I've visited, there's been a line out the entrance to the courtyard it's in which is a testament to its draw but also can be a little bit much depending on the weather. I highly recommend their tacos and definitely add on some chips and salsa!
google avatar

Megan B.

Yelp
Holy guacamole, this place is good! My husband and I visited the shopping district it was in previously but the line wrapped around the building so on our return to Tucson this year we finally made it. I see why the wait is so long, it's seriously delicious! We got a variety of tacos and taquitos but the loaded nachos really hit hard. I also highly recommend to get an Avis Fresca to round out the meal and cool off the tummy. Pro tip might be to get a late dinner as we had less than a 5-minute wait.

Yelp
We stopped by for a late lunch recently, expecting bold flavors. Our meal was okay, but not great. We started with esquites, which were creamy and spicy, but very salty. It was difficult to find a charred corn flavor. Less salt, more cilantro, lime, and grilling maybe? We also ordered guacamole, which was fresh--a pleasant rarity these days--but underpowered, and covered in diced red onions. Some is good; lots is not more good. Our mains were taco grandes (corn tortillas). All were over-topped with things like plain cabbage, and most were under-stuffed with the chosen proteins. The adobo steak was the best: the tender, flavorful meat came in satisfying chunks. We had high hopes for the Poc Chuc, but there was very little chicken, and its flavor was so mild as to be very generic. I can't name any of its seasonings. The birria was similarly vague, and the shrimp was tasty, but there were just two medium-sized ones buried under the cabbage and cheese: not even enough to really share. Our chosen sides, black beans, came in large portions. They had cheese on top, but again, were so bland that they only came alive when we heaped on some of the very good red and green salsa. Service was prompt and friendly. Altogether, I think Seis is cooking for tourist palates here, and not taking chances on the adventurous possibilities regional Mexican offers. We wished there was more protein and that it had been more daringly flavored. Bring your parents when they visit from the Midwest; they'll thank you for it.

Yelp
One of our favorites to visit while is Tucson. We have tried so many items off of the menu but always have to have an order of nachos with he chicken tinga! Popped across the courtyard to grab a beer and came back to our table-chips and two homemade mild/spicy salsas were waiting. Service is great and it is a charming atmosphere too.

Dan N.

Yelp
Stopped in for lunch. Didn't know what to eat so I ordered 3 Birria tacos with cilantro rice. Also ordered cheese dip for an appetizer. The cheese dip was extremely good. The birria tacos were on point too. The service was good and quick. I actually like the area. It was set up with other restaurants near it and also a bakery that I forgot to visit before I left. Sit outside under umbrella and trees for shade. Loved it. I'll be back.

Yelp
It's about time I leave a review for Seis! There was a time a few years ago where my husband and I were sometimes ordering takeout from Seis a couple times a week. We've cut back since, but I still crave the burritos and Seis sauce all the time. My favorite items here are the chorizo y papas tacos, cochata (cold brew mixed with horchata), chicken taquitos, and puerco verde burrito with smashed beans. The burritos are pricy, but they're super filling with rice, beans, guac, cabbage, and protein. All the ingredients taste fresh. Sides of the habanero salsa and Seis sauce (kind of like a chipotle sauce) are mandatory. The outdoor patio seating at the Mercado is always a nice vibe for enjoying good weather or people watching. Seis does not disappoint!
google avatar

Amy D.

Yelp
Ordered the breakfast burrito for $16. It was a pretty big size and definitely shareable if you're looking to keep it lighter. The overall flavor was good.
google avatar

Dora S.

Yelp
Such a cute spot for lunch! The decor and location is perfect. I got the tacos grande: al pastor, puc chuc, and grilled shrimp. These were some big boy tacos, definitely grande. Puc chuc is a very basic taco, no sauce. Pastor was juicy and loaded with pork. Last but not least, grilled shrimp was very fresh and flavorful. Probably my favorite taco out of the three. Service was quick and people were friendly. There were pigeons in the square but they were disciplined and the area was very clean. Would I come back if I was ever in Tuscon again? Yes for sure!
google avatar

Kevin M.

Yelp
The tacos and horchata were unbeatable. Just absolutely delicious tacos no matter what flavors we picked. Pair it with a beer from their neighboring bar. The wait to order is a little crazy though. If you have kids, you should bring something to keep them entertained while standing. There's no early seating though, so you have to get assigned a table after you complete your order. Otherwise they will politely boot you out. The entertainment the night we went was top notch though! The weather was perfect this night too. It just really elevated the experience for us having such pleasant conditions whilst eating. If you're in the Tucson area and not in a rush, this place is legit.

Yelp
I recently read an article that said that Seis was going to lower the cost for the meals. Well I don't think that has happened. $19.02 for two tacos and a side salad is pretty pricey in my opinion. The filling is a bit skinny. (My friend had fish tacos for the same price.) Don't get me wrong though, the tacos and the salad were incredibly delicious; just expensive. I had shrimp grilled tacos. Each taco had two fat juicy shrimps dressed with a creamy and cabbage. The server brings out fresh green and red salsa of which were mild and authentic in flavor. Grilled is good. The patio atmosphere good. If you're here and hungry opt for three tacos because they skimp on the stuffings.
google avatar

Yelp
Seis is located near MSA Annex. Seating is outdoors in a beautiful patio that is perfect this time of year. You order at the window and they give you a table number to go sit. They were unfortunately out of nachos when I ordered so I got the 3 mini chimis which were good. They came out nice and hot and included guacamole. I do wish they had different flavors (all 3 were chicken). We also ordered the surf n turf burrito which was good and filling (it was a large portion). Salsas are not spicy, but have good flavor. I also ordered the prickly pear agua Fresca which was very good. Overall, the food was great and it's priced for what you'd expect in that area.
google avatar

Yelp
I was here on travel and was in the mood for a salad. So, I do my best to find recommendations here on Yelp and this one came high on the list of choices. It was so good, I went there twice! I had the salad with sliced beef steak and it is an amazing portion. So scrumptious! I also had the Jamaica drink and it is yummy. I plan on going back when I am in the area again. Thank you for the excellent service and delicious food options. Highly recommend.

Yelp
I love this location of Seis Kitchen, especially in the colder seasons. I love the outdoor seating, and the counter ordering system. There's lots of seating, and it's a nice and clean plaza with shops to wander around while you wait. Their menu has lots of options and their food is great, made with fresh products. If you visit, the chips are a must try with a variety of salsas. In the fall season, their pumpkin spice horchata is to die for. This is a place I would take a first time visitor to Tucson for sure.
google avatar

Steve R.

Yelp
This is a great place to have lunch or dinner if you're in the neighborhood. First, you place your order at the counter where you will also be assigned a table somewhere in their beautiful courtyard. The food didn't take too long to come out, and it was very good. We started with the Guacamole Trio that in addition to guacamole, it comes with both red and green salsa. You get a huge bowl of chips so 4 people could easily share this. I had a Surf & Turf burrito that I could only eat half of since it was so big and loaded with steak and shrimp. My wife had the Chicken Tinga tacos that I tried, and they were also very good. Overall it's a really good place to enjoy a meal with friends and/or family and I would definitely recommend it.
google avatar

Gary B.

Yelp
Food and service was good . I don't understand how just a burrito 's one was $17.00 and 19.00 and change . Again yes the food is good but reality set in after I left. Eat there again I don't know . My girl friend and I had 2 burrito and soft drink $42.94. Maybe I am out of touch with reality.

Alfredo P.

Yelp
The food didn't meet my expectations. After reading the reviews, I was hopeful, but I found the flavors didn't match what I associate with authentic or high-quality Mexican cuisine. As someone who grew up with traditional Mexican food, I was disappointed by how it compared. It may appeal to others, but it wasn't for me. +having to do line for every additional order can get annoying
google avatar

Laurie N.

Yelp
They have good size corn tacos. Very satisfying. I ordered the chicken Tinga . I recommend this chicken place. You order at window. This place is located in a small plaza. My party order other tacos. They were satisfied with their meals. Food is brought out to you. Service was pleasant.
google avatar

Jaime C.

Yelp
Great atmosphere. Loved all the outdoor seating. The menu was quite large. Portions hearty: I had a salad

Yelp
After long hours of shopping the gem show we found ourselves at the Pueblo Show and this was within walking distance. So we headed over and first of all nailed the timing. We go in line with 1 person ahead of us, when we were done there was 19 people in line behind us ( we weren't slow it just filled up super fast) The pineapple salsa on the tacos was stunning ! The green salsa was extra yummy - my salad was huge and perfect. Everything was delicious. We will definitely be back next year !! Cheers !

Yelp
We came on a Monday night, waited in line for 20 minutes to order at the counter. The food took 25 minutes to prepare, apparently they were short-staffed in the kitchen. We had tacos, enchilada-style quesadilla and strawberry limon agua fresca. We enjoyed the handmade corn tortillas. Portion sizes were good. If you like spicy, try the habanero salsa. They only have outdoor seating, so it was good that we came for dinner instead of lunch when the sun is overhead. The outdoor string lighting and music made it feel festive. They do not serve alcohol but you can order it at the restaurant across courtyard. As we waited and waited, we decided that we probably wouldn't come back. But after we tasted the food, YUM, it was worth the wait (and maybe the mosquitoes bites too).
google avatar

Steve V.

Yelp
Seis Kitchen was one of the first places we went to when we first visited Tucson before moving here. It didn't disappoint the first time and hasn't ever let us down since. The food is cravable, especially their nachos (!!!) and aqua frescas. Its counter service, as many places in town embrace this style of service, and the ambiance is light and comfortable. In the summertime, there are misters in the seating area to keep you cool while enjoying your meal.
google avatar

Gabe V.

Yelp
I'll keep coming back to Seis Kitchen because the food is legitimately 10/10, but you need to know what you're getting into. Expect to spend anywhere from 45-75 minutes in line unless you show up around 8pm. Pro tip: grab a drink from the bar at Agustin while you wait. The fast-casual setup would be fine if the staff weren't consistently inconsistent. Last time they somehow served our dessert before my burrito, which arrived lukewarm and forgotten. Here's the thing - the service (or lack thereof) drives me nuts, but the food is just THAT good. If you have patience, low expectations for service, and appreciate amazing Mexican food, you'll probably end up like me - complaining about the wait while getting back in line monthly. TLDR; Worth it for the food, but brace yourself for the chaos.

Yelp
FOOD: Breading is excellent, evenly coated the avocado. Tortillas on the dryer side adding some lime does help. Calabacitas I enjoyed the flavor. Cuts weren't even not was the slat spread evenly throughout the calabacitas making some slices saltier then others. ATMOSPHERE: Outdoor seating. Plenty of tables for a party of 2 or a family. I do recommend to check the weather since it can get a bit warm outside. They do have large umbrellas that give some shade. You'll also find people working on their computers enjoying the atmosphere SERVICE: You'll have to stand in line to order. Carry your own drinks to the table. Servers will bring your dish to the table. Our server only came once to check on us. We had to approach them for takeout boxes. They are kind and welcoming. PARKING : Few parking spots with share provided by some trees. More parking across the street and behind the building with no shade. VEGAN: Chilaquiles served only for breakfast. Avocado tacos breading is vegan. You'll need to ask for dishes to be modified without cheese and cream. However both dishes are make in the same oil as meat dishes

Yelp
This is a must try spot it does get loud so bring headphones if you want to enjoy your meal I. Peace . I love that it's outside and you get a designated table that servers bring you your food and it's A1 don't play ... super chill service super chill vibe be patient it does take 30min for your food !!! Worth the wait

Yelp
Mid food, mid experience for premium price. Group of 6 ordered and the price was well over $150 for tacos and aguas! That's a hefty price & raises the expecations. Unfortunately we felt we've had way better tacos from traditional taco shops and street vendors. To start off, the good. The Aguas were great! We had the watermelon limon aguas & they were the right blend of sweet & sour on a hot day. The bad: chips are yellow corn tortilla chips, not hot, just room temp with red & green salsa that had flavor but no heat. We asked for a hotter salsa & they gave us a habanero salsa which was a little hotter, but not much. For the tacos, we collectively had pastor, poc chuc, adobo, birria, & crispy fish. As they came out in the steel taco holders, I knew we'd be getting the overpriced bar tacos. Tortillas were yellow corn, room temp & flimsy. All of the tacos were room temp, even the meat. The adobo had good flavor, but gotta be hot. The pastor tasted like orange chicken. The poc chuc seasoning was nothing to write home about. I personally didn't have the birria but those at the table said those were the best of what we bought. Overall for $25-30/person we expected HOT food, better ingredients & better flavors. Unfortunately, this was just overhyped, overpriced, bar tacos to us. Back to the taco shops & street vendors!

Yelp
I am not sure how and why this place was rated good. We thought for sure the place would be good with the long line we had to wait, which was close to an hour. The service was very slow and needs to be revamped. The ambiance is nice because eod the historical aspect, but it is dining outside in a courtyard patio. So I can see how cold or hot weather might not make it the best spot. The food, well my plate was the worst. I orders the two tacos grande plate with cilantro rice and guacamole, a kids birria tacos, Jamaica agua fresca, and upgraded the kids beverage for $2 more to a strawberry-limón agua. 1. My fish tacos were kinda cold and one of the tacos literally had no fish. It had a sliver of the fish batter with no fish. WTH ‍. Then when I showed it to one of the male staff, he looked at it as thought nothing was wrong until I demanded a new tacos. Well guess what the tacos never arrived! Wtf again! 2. My daughter birria tacos was a big mess. 3. The cilantro rice was cold. 4. The guacamole had way too much lime juice and couldn't differentiate the creaminess of the avocado. 5. The chips were basically corn chips and not true Mexican-style tortilla chips. Tased stale. They didn't even provide enough for our group of 8 and we had to ask them to bring some for our kids sitting across from us at a different table. 6. I couldn't believe I paid $2 to upgrade the kids drink to the agua fresca. It was literally the same very small size of the kids cup. Definitely not worth the upgrade. Honestly, I left there with a bad taste and could not understand what was the hype! The birria tacos lacked flavor and what was left of fish tacos was ridiculous with no flavor. Not sure why I saw other patrons with large fish tacos in their plate. But mine was filled with nothing and they didn't even make it right. Glad I was just visiting because I would never return here. They definitely do not come close to Ensenada-style flavors!

Yelp
Amazing food, mind-blowingly inefficient process. Let's start with the positives: the food was fantastic! Now the negatives: their entire broken-ass process! When you see the line, however long you think it will take...go ahead and multiply that value by 5. You'll think the other customers are being choosy with their orders but, nope. This place throttles the line throughput like a shitty internet company. In English: they purposely "pause" the line for 5 minutes every once in a while. So, you'll get to the window and then they will "pause for the kitchen to catch up"...then you just stand there for 5 minutes waiting for them to listen to your order. It is absolultely maddening. If the issue is that the hostess needs to go help out the kitchen, maybe HIRE ANOTHER EMPLOYEE TO ONLY DO THAT. SOOO many people just left the line. Hiring more help for the kitchen would pay for itself. This place will waste 90 minutes of your life for a grab-n-go burrito. Granted it will probably be one the better ones you've ever had. Come at your own risk.

Yelp
Walking up, you order your food first before sitting in a beautiful coartyard. We loved the live music and the relaxed ambiance. The line to order was very long and the whole process to get our food probably took about 30-45 minutes. The pinnapple cucumber agua fresca was amazing and refreshing! I highly recommend getting one. We shared a bunch of food with a large group and had mixed reviews. The tacos were dry and flavorless. I tried the fish, chicken, and avocado. The avocado was my favorite. The salsa was good and was definitely needed to add flavor. The mashed beans were cold and a bit dry. My friends really enjoyed their quesadillas. I will say that the serving size was pretty good, which was appreciated. I'd come back to try a quesadilla and get another agua fresca, but there's definitely things I'd avoid on the menu.

Yelp
Food was amazing and the location was cool. A plaza of little shops and bakeries. The chips and salsa were exceptional. As was the key lime pie. Dreaming about it. Service was great.

Yelp
The long line to order was a big hint that Seis Kitchen was worth trying! Driving through Tucson, we found Seis Kitchen nestled in a cool little area right off the highway near downtown. You order at the counter and then are assigned a table in the courtyard. Beautiful setting, open courtyard, bakery and coffee place nearby. We ordered tacos- all delicious. Shared chips, salsa and Guac. We both ordered a Corchata (coffee with horchata)- so yummy!! Highly recommend Seis Kitchen.

Yelp
A new restaurant in our area where the original Millie's used to be. This is a business model we don't care for. We went on a 100+ degree day, and had to stand in line to order in a long tunnel. Every time the door opened behind us we were hit with a blast of hot air. We ordered at the counter, you fetch your own drinks and water. Limited Mexican menu. The food was fresh and good. Industrial, exposed duct style, loud and noisy, we couldn't hear each other across the table. For those who like that kind of experience, it's okay - we don't.

Yelp
Go here if you wanna wait in line forever just to be greeted by a weird cashier who gives you weird judgmental looks just for her to not listen to your order and deliver very underwhelming food. Very Americanized "Mexican" food. 6.5/10

Yelp
Food: Fantastic! Service: sometimes fast sometimes slow. Atmosphere: not the best. I like that it's outside but there's so many pigeons trying to eat your food. It's worth it to just order to go.

Yelp
Had the Adobo Steak tacos and let's just say that was no adobo. I also got them in corn and by the time I received my tacos they were pretty soggy and falling apart. Because there wasn't much meat and definitely was lacking flavor all I could taste was the mound of guacamole on it. Might be some of the worst tacos I've ever had. I said maybe recommend because other peoples food looked okay..but it was all gringos and well..they probably thought it was spicy. My friend got the mini chinos and said hers were also lacking, and was also cold. She has had the same dish at the River location and said it is better, but she's a gringo too. On a said note, their Horchata was actually amazing. Go for that.

Yelp
Such a cozy place to get delicious mexican food. The patio is beautiful and the food is amazing. Got a tocino breakfast burrito and the best horchata I've ever had in my life. & of course has to get the creme brulee cheesecake which was sooo good. Usually salsas are hit or miss at places but both the green and red here are the best I've ever had.
