The quest for Michelin hawker took me to Adam Food Center today. The queue was about 10 pax in front of me and I think I queued a good 20 mins before getting Mee Rebus and Mee Soto. The chicken Mee Soto that I ordered had a very savoury stock and the chicken was fresh and tender. Wasn’t a big fan of Mee Soto prior to this visit but this bowl definitely changed my impression of this soup dish. The Mee rebus was accompanied by the robust and thick gravy. It was slightly spicy to me. It came with one full egg. The queue was long, even at 1030am on a weekday morning but it’s well worth the wait! Both dishes were great but if you asked me, I will pick the Mee Soto over the Mee Rebus!

My bestie queued for 20 minutes to get two bowls of noodles. The Mee Soto was excellent; I wish the chili had been spicier. The soup was savoury, with great-tasting chicken and no unpleasant smell. I loved the soup, and the mee rebus was decent. Still, I will still choose the Mee Soto! Will go back again!

Warong Pak Sapari serves one of the best, if not the best, mee soto in Singapore. The broth is incredibly rich and flavourful, and the noodles are always cooked to the perfect texture. Every bowl is consistently satisfying. They do sell out pretty quickly, so it’s best to go early to avoid disappointment. I’m not usually someone who would wait in line for food, but I happily queue for this mee soto. The line moves steadily, so the wait isn’t too bad. Absolutely a must-try!

This humble stall at Adam Food Centre serves Michelin-recognised Mee Soto and Mee Rebus. Coupled with recent media coverage in a documentary, it is no wonder the queue is perpetually long and the stall stops business a couple of hours before its official closing time, when the food is sold out. We were fortunate to have tasted the legendary Mee Soto and Sup Kaki Ayam (chicken feet soup), and let’s just say any other Mee Soto we have in the future will have a challenge meeting the bar this stall has set, in terms of depth of flavour and cooking techniques. The soup is the star with its myriad ingredients and spices that meld together with the essence of chicken for that distinct, Mee Soto profile. A teaspoon of dark sambal is added by choice to provide a lingering heat to the taste buds, without numbing or overpowering the soup - adding a layer of complexity. The chicken meat is tender and flavourful, not bland and dry as can be encountered elsewhere. The feet, on the other hand, are gelatinous and soft, easy to separate skin, meat, and cartilage in the mouth before discarding the bones. If you’ve missed out on the operating duration to get your hands on these coveted bowls of noodles, visit their franchised stall at Lau Pa Sat, which the chef would drop by from time to time to check on quality and consistency.

Tried the new Century Square outlet today and wow—the portions are huge and the food is so good! The gravy isn’t overly thick or jelak, just nicely balanced. I had the Mee Rebus Kaki Ayam (added babat too), and they even gave a full boiled egg. Received 5 pieces of kaki ayam and 3 big slabs of babat 🤯. I’m plus-sized, and even I found the portion really generous—love it! Also added a lil bit of sambal kicap for a tiny kick. I also spotted the owner in person, which felt a bit surreal after seeing him on YouTube interviews (haha!). Overall, everything was delicious. May Allah bless the owner with endless rezeki and success. Next mission: trying the Mee Soto! 🔥

It’s rare to justify waking up early on the weekends but for their bowl of Mee Soto and Mee Rebus - every extra waking hour was worth it. The Mee Soto was herbaceous, a deep and complex flavour of spices and heat that slowly but surely warmed up your body from the inside. Noodles were cooked to the right doneness, still firm and paired well with sprinkled pieces of shredded chicken. With the Mee Rebus, similar noodles were coated in a silky gravy, very shrimp-forward and pleasantly sweet. Bits of tau pok and bean sprouts provided a good crunch and an overall well-rounded mouth feel. It would also be remiss of us not to mention how incredibly thoughtful and friendly the owner was. When witnessing some of his customers standing in line under the sun, he kindly redirected all of us to move into the shade of the hawker centre. We may have initially came only for the food, but we are definitely coming back because of their service too.

Saw a long queue but I had time so I joined in. Tried their signature mee soto ($4.5) and it was really nice but not enough to make me queue for about 25 minutes again (FYI I think I started queueing near the sink). Tasty thick broth and a decent amount of chicken. The boss was friendly. :)

One of the best Mee Soto we have had. The soup is really tasty. It is unlike the usual thin soto soup as the soup here is concentrated rich with flavour. For the price, the serving size is generous. We also tried the chicken feet, it was very tender and well-cooked. The first time we came on a Sat at about 12pm, most of the menu selections are sold out like the fried potato fritter bagedil, bee hoon, soto ayam, babat etc. We came again on a weekday at 8am and had the luxury to choose. Though, there was already quite a queue when we came, but it was fast moving as they serve pretty quick. Highly recommended! Definitely will come back for more.
