What a wonderful restaurant and amazing staff. You have the option to eat inside, or you can dine on their patio. The food is amazing and the portion sizes are huge. I suggest when you order your entree, get a few for the table and share with the group. Hummus- simple dip served with fresh warm bread Stuffed dates- A-Maze-ing….even though this is a appetizer and it’s stuffed with goat cheese, pastrami, spinach and walnuts. You literally can have this for dessert because of it’s sweetness Chicken shish- tender marinated chicken served with rice, and a wonderful fresh bean salad Baklava- delicious

Perfect place for Christmas dinner with the family. We originally had reservations elsewhere but then noticed it was closed despite having reservations. However, it was to our blessing as Selda was perfect. From the time we got there, the hostess got us in without much of a wait. Service all around were excellent. We had the best food. The Halloumi was delicious, and fried cauliflower was perfect. Our entrée were lamb shank, lamb chop, and beef. The lamb chop that I ordered was amazing, and the Turkish rice and salad were truly spectacular. As full as we were, we wanted to try the desserts, and thank god we did. The kunafa and baklava were divine.

I ordered the Chicken Adana kabob with Turkish bulgur rice, bean salad and bread. It was delicious! I needed a quick and healthy meal after traditional dinner hours. I was able to call in a takeout order at 9:30 p.m. and it was ready for pickup in ten minutes! I hope to enjoy a sit-down meal there soon.

Selda Dallas is another hidden gem I’ve found in the city. I’ll start by saying thank you to the team who made our experience so great. The moment we walked in everyone was so welcoming, and it felt good to know that you are welcomed. We ate dinner on the patio and our server was Firat who was wonderful. All of the food 10/10. The lamb chops were so flavorful and so tender honestly some of the best I’ve ever had. I feel like I shouldn’t tell people about this place and keep it to myself it’s so wonderful. Honestly go here and eat. They also have hookah that you add on to the table. Overall I give this place a 10/10. I’ll return. Thank you to the team at Selda.

Tiny and off the beaten path, but a MUST visit!!! The staff there are so welcoming and kind. My parents have visited multiple times and decided to bring the whole family when home for Christmas. My parents had taken a previous photo with a staff member, who ended up being our server that evening, and shared the photo with him. He was so excited to see that my parents had become frequent visitors! We had a variety of things we got but everything was phenomenal. Loved the pita appetizer and hummus and feta and olives apps. I had a kebab for dinner. Amazing. Spices were really complex and married each other well.

Food: We ordered the mixed grill, grilled eggplant salad, and lahmacun, with the lahmacun being a server recommendation. The grilled eggplant salad was underwhelming, lacking the smoky flavor I expect—2.5/5. The lahmacun, best described as a Turkish pizza, was refreshing with its tomato, cilantro, mint, and red onion salad—3.5/5. The mixed grill looked great but didn’t fully deliver. The chicken lacked seasoning, though it had a smoky flavor—2.5/5. The steak had better texture but similar flavor—3/5. The chicken skewer had more seasoning—3/5, and the beef skewer was the best, with good seasoning—3.5/5. The lamb patty was decent but needed more flavor—3/5. The bean salad and rice were okay, complementing the meats—3/5. Overall, the food earned a 3/5, with room for improvement in seasoning. Service: The service left a bit to be desired. While we were seated quickly and got our drinks right away, our water was never refilled, and the server didn’t check on us during the meal. We had to call for the check, which was frustrating. I’d rate the service 2.5/5. Atmosphere: The atmosphere was great, with cozy lighting and a family-style feel inside. We sat outside, and the combination of nice weather and the outdoor decor made for a pleasant experience. The vibes were fantastic.

Best Turkish grill I think I’ve had in a long time. Everything from the fresh bread to the mixed grill tasted amazing. Service very friendly and welcoming. Cozy atmosphere. Reasonable prices.

Google
Ok... First of all, the food was pretty excellent. The cauliflower was delicious and the lamb was cooked perfectly. The hummus wasn't great but the little appetizer cheese thing was really good. That said, we (only) took one star off because the service was borderline neglectful. They took forever to even address us when we sat down, the server appeared to be prioritizing everyone and everything else... We'd ask for something and he would run and clear off the table next to us or something unrelated. They forgot the hummus, and then didn't bother to check in at all after we received our food, including for the check and then the payment terminal had hilariously selected 30% tip.

Yelp
My first time to this place and definitely not my last. Very authentic and delicious food. Come and ask for Volkon he was a great server, very kind and attentive.

Yelp
The food at Seldas is absolutely wonderful! Ambiance is nice too. I go there fairly frequently especially when it was called Peras. However, I don't recommend it for a holiday like Valentine's Day when the weather turns bad. We were told when we walked in for our very early dinner reservation that we had the table for an hour and half. The restaurant was pleasantly busy but still lots of empty tables. Service was a bit manic. We felt rushed as soon as we sat down. I spoke up about the time limit and apparently they weren't able to have as many tables because of the rain. The patio looked fully enclosed so I wasn't clear what the issue was with decreased number of tables. The appetizer and entrees were superb. We weren't offered a second glass of wine, coffee or dessert before check was given to us after 50 minutes. I somewhat snidely remarked we 40 minutes left. Also, my dinner companion finished his dinner before me and they whisked away his plate quickly. Isn't standard for good service to wait until both people finish before removing both peoples' plates at the same time? Or has that gone out of fashion? I couldn't believe we weren't offered coffee or dessert. When I mentioned it the waiter was annoyed and recited off what they had. I declined as my hackles were rising by this point. I used to work in fine dining restaurants. I appreciate the pressure of working holidays and for having to switch things around last minute when something goes wrong. However, the name of the game is is hospitality which we did not feel tonight. I am loyal to Seldas. The wait staff is normally a lot of fun and I like the guy that waited on us. That said, I probably won't go back on a holiday anytime soon. I rated Seldas at only 3 stars tonight because of the service. Food is superb.

Yelp
A hidden gem of Mediterranean flavors!! The exterior looks tiny & decorated with coziness... but wait till you go inside, it's a WHOA this place is huge the interior accommodates sitting for a large crowd!!! You definitely need reservations though ;) and a bring your appetite too! For anyone who's been to the Mediterranean islands...then you'll feel like a flash back of great cuisine, cool atmosphere and super great service! Turkish/Greek blend of YUM!! Yelp
Met a friend on a Sunday afternoon at this Turkish eatery and had a tasty meal. The weather was great so we opted to dine on the patio. The patio is well-designed and inviting but I was unfortunately seated in the corner facing the neighboring 7-11 and its small homeless encampment that was set up along the building. For those who are bothered by that be mindful of seating. The view aside, the meal was fantastic. We started with grape leaf-wrapped salmon as well as the spicy ezme. The salmon was perfectly cooked and the ezme was addicting. I ate it with the table bread/naan, as well as my entree. Just phenomenal. We each ordered the lamb shish as our entree and subbed rice for the Turkish bread. Everything was flavorful and herbaceous. Service was okay, friendly though our server did slip away to hit a hookah that was just a couple table lengths from us lol Overall great meal, and I'd come back here again but probably dine inside.

Yelp
I debated writing this review because I generally am pretty understanding and I know, having worked in restaurants for many years, and my family owning and operating restaurants, the impact a bad review can have overall. However, after a few days of thinking on it, I felt compelled to leave a note for the management of this restaurant. Two of my best friends and I came in on a busy Monday night. We waited to be sat for our reserved table (which is fine I don't mind waiting), but as we were waiting, a two top came in, clearly 'VIPS', clearly walk-ins, and was sat immediately at a 4 person table that had been empty since we arrived; then another couple came and was sat for a reservation time after us. Again, busy night, okay, fine. We get to the patio and it is packed. And windy. During the course of our dinner, which was going okay, but at a certain point a couple comes and sits on the patio and lights up two cigarettes while their SUPER loud dog sat and yelped in one of the chairs. You also can't help but be distracted by their huge propane heaters. The patio is warped, so they shake and are very unsturdy. The entire time other tables were asking the staff to shift them around and at one point we have about 4 of them within a foot of our table in the center of the patio. My friends and I were having a serious conversation and all of a sudden, one of the heaters quickly fell HARD onto my friend's back and her head. The fact that nothing caught fire on our table was an absolute miracle, but it definitely caused a scene and we had other guests asking if we were okay and checking on my friend, who kept insisting she was okay, but was, as we all were, in shock - however the pain hit her throughout the next few days. Once the heater was lifted off the table, not ONE person on the staff or the manager came to apologize or offer to move our table to another spot. What if it had been a baby, or an elderly person? SHAME ON management for this behavior, we expect a response!!

Yelp
Cozy, charming spot for Turkish staples Loved everything we tried here. It was all so fresh and well done. It also happened to be a night with live entertainment and we were treated to live music by a local singer which made the evening even more special. Hummus-- smooth, creamy. I practically licked this plate clean. Ezme-- it was my first time trying this and I loved it. It's a condiment/dip made of roasted tomatoes, peppers, onion, spices and herbs. I couldn't get enough of this and loved dunking my flatbread in it too. Combo meat platter-- each meat delivered on flavor. Loved the char from the kebabs. The meat patties were also extremely juicy. I devoured all the roasted shishito and tomatoes it came with too. Lahmacun-- Turkish flatbread with minced meat, vegetables and herbs. We wrapped raw onions and cilantro with the flatbread and rolled it up in the proper way. Kunefe-- finally got to check this off my to-try list too!! The cheese was super melty and shrouded in syrup soaked shredded wheat. It was a delightful combination of texture and flavors. Baklava-- the perfect sweet treat to end the night. Layers of flaky filo, walnuts and syrup!!

Yelp
Came here for a friend's going away party and it was a hit. Nice ambiance and the food was great. We ordered a bunch of different appetizers and main plates to share and it was enough food. We had a great time. Service was good. We had a large party and they were very accommodating.

Yelp
This was my second visit here. I made reservations by ending them from their website for 5 pm on Thursday night and we were sat right down. The servers were quick to bring our food and friendly but when we were done we were sitting for at least 5 min looking around trying to make eye contact with someone. They weren't busy and there were plenty of folks around. I prefer the mayors house in bishop arts but this place is great too if you're on the north side of town. Highly recommend. I have gotten the lamb chops every time and they are so good! (Here and the mayors house) the beef shish was new to me. I didn't love it but my son said it was really good. The halloumi was good. I had it at the mayors house and thought it would be the same but it wasn't. Both were delish. The salmon in grape leaves was just ok. Glad to try it but wouldn't order again. The kunefe for dessert was so yummy! The small is definitely big enough for 3-4 people to share, esp after a big meal. Make sure you order it early or be prepared to wait a bit for it to be prepared.

Yelp
Authentic and delicious Turkish food. Friendly service. You are made to feel welcome. The Lamb Shish, bean salad, beet salad, Ali Nazik, and Apple Baklava are all exceptional and ALL highly recommended.

Farheen I.

Yelp
We've driven by Selda a million times and it's always busy, and for good reason. We went on a Friday night and had a light dinner. I have a few food allergies that makes it a bit difficult for me to eat Turkish food, but the servers were really accommodating and patiently answered all questions I had on the menu and made accommodations as necessary. I had no issues after, so I really appreciated the care they took. Anyway, back to the food! The halloumi cheese appetizer was really good, especially with the walnut red sauce. It went great with the fresh pita bread. My husband ordered the calf liver, it was prepared really well - meat was tender and juicy and spiced well. I'm not a huge fan of liver but my husband really liked it. We also ordered one ground beef kebob dish just to see how it was and it stole the show! It is the best kebob I've had in Dallas, the meat was so tender and juicy and it had a great smoky flavor. I got double rice since I was allergic to an ingredient in the salad, so there's a lot of rice in the pics. The rice was made really well too. We finished our meal with tea and kenefe. Overall a really good dinner, great atmosphere, and great staff. We will be back, and most likely will visit the bishop arts location soon too.

Yelp
Food 5/5 Service 5/5 Ambiance 4/5 We've been going to Selda for years and it's always top tier Turkish food and service! We love this place and highly recommend. Our typical dishes are grilled branzino, lamb chops, hummus, shrimp garlic, cauliflower, and vegetarian couscous. All are delicious! Service is even better than the food. The whole team is very attentive and friendly! They get pretty busy on weekends, so I recommend having a reservation.

Bianca T.

Yelp
So happy I got recommended this place by some local coffee baristas! The food and staff were so amazing! We got the mixed grill and lamp chops as proposed by the waitress to have a good variety which I'm glad we did. Each meat had its own unique tastes, but the quality in the way they were prepared was exquisite. So tender and juicy. It felt like a mom and pop store with a modern, elegant twist. We could tell the cooks and waiters genuinely cared to treating us very well. We were the first ones there that day for lunch. It was also a weekday so it wasn't packed. I hear if you try to go for dinner, it's hard to get a spot, so going for lunch was a nice tip!

Lane H.

Yelp
Selda's food is so darn delicious and their service is stellar. Generous portions. I keep forgetting to try their other restaurant in Oak Cliff, but will try next time. Selda is welcoming and a fun time out!

Aria M.

Yelp
Okay service and even less okay food, which was a bummer! We were really excited to try this place because of the reviews, but our experience left more to be desired. I will give them kudos for squeezing us in on a weekend without reservations, we had no problem sitting at the bar. The bartender wasn't very friendly, but he was attentive which was nice. Unfortunately, neither of our meals were that great. Besides the bean salad (which was delicious), it tasted like something we could've made at home, which for over $20 per dish was disappointing. Overall I think we're still on the hunt for our staple Mediterranean restaurant here in Dallas I'm sad to say.

Kristal W.

Yelp
My meal was outstanding. It was so fresh. I had lamb chops with bean salad. The server was attentive and kept our glasses full. I had never had bean salad, and I could have had a bowl of just that. I'll definitely be back.

F S.

Yelp
New favorite! I've been twice in past month, including for my birthday. Once for a business lunch and later for dinner with my wife. Excellent both times. The service, the food, the atmosphere - are all special. The veggie couscous is hard to pass up on: smooth, creamy, complex. I had the beef shish, also excellent! Tender chunks of beef perfectly seasoned and cooked. The staff was attentive and playful. It was packed on a Tuesday night with all ages and backgrounds. Selda is our new go-to!

Liza K.

Yelp
Another wonderful visit to Selda... and there will be many more. Enjoyed the Beef Shish & Hummus. Very tasty, service always great and we'll be back!

Renita T.

Yelp
Love the complimentary bread with yogurt dip!! They even brought out piping hot bread before we were finished with the first round of bread. Generous portion sizes and extremely juicy kabobs! Decent prices on par with other restaurants and it was extremely popular and busy so happy with how the service was still attentive! The only thing I would recommend would be to add more fans on the patio because we made a reservation for inside and there was only outside seating and no fans on the side we sat on! More fans would make it more pleasant because it's still quite hot out. Didn't see inside at all but the patio is nice with all the lights.

Susan N.

Yelp
This has quickly become my new favorite late Friday night spot. They don't close until 12AM! I've always driven by here and have never thought to dine in until one day after pickleball, my friends were craving Mediterranean food. I'm so happy we decided to give this place a shot. They were busy and it was very lively on a Friday night, but they quickly sat our table of 11. The whole wait staff was so friendly and made us feel like family. We immediately returned the next week and had an even better experience. Every single dish was mind-blowingly delicious. The table favorite was the Al Nazik which is cubed lamb served in an eggplant puree. The beet & watermelon salad was also refreshingly amazing. Bread is free and bottomless and they gave us Turkish tea on the house. I love this place and want to take all my friends here!

Daniel C.

Yelp
The food here was really flavorful and you could truly notice the freshness. Really appreciative this place has stayed true to its identity. This is authentic Mediterranean food, no twists. Slightly overpriced but balances out with the portion sizes. Service was good, lots of workers even when it's slow - this might be a family owned business. Good choice for groups, a date, or even just to grab a cup of tea.

Andrew B.

Yelp
The food was fire. The shawarma was some of the best I've had. The falafel were amazing. My gf got lentil soup. It was addictive, and I don't even like lentil soup. TLDR, the food was stellar. I also thought our server was quite a fun character. I do wish the hot sauce was a bit hotter, and wished the gyro portion was a bit larger. It also would have been nice if they had Tahini. My gf can't eat dairy, so she couldn't eat the homemade yogurt sauce.

Lily F.

Yelp
It's been awhile since I've been to a restaurant where I was just dying to review the place until I came here last weekend. We wanted Mediterranean food but something a little more than your typical fast, casual dining and saw Selda on Yelp and decided to go there for dinner one night. It was so good that I ordered delivery from them a couple days later. Everything we had here was just phenomenal. I'd say it's a great place to take friends so you can all share the different apps, salads and shareable plates. It was a bit loud to have a quiet date night, but my boyfriend and I still had a fabulous time. Service was extremely quick for as busy as they were and we were surprised. We ordered the halloumi cheese, cigar borek, lamb shank and the lamb chops. So essentially two different cheese apps and two different lamb entrees and yet no regrets. The lamb was so tender and definitely something I would highly recommend. Even the bean salad that accompanied the lamb was so fresh and tasty. The halloumi is a must get! It's lightly fried and on top of roasted pepper, walnut and topped with pomegranate molasses. I mean, come on! Absolutely amazing meal that got me pumped to come back to try more of the small bites. Two days later, I ordered Uber eats and had the grilled eggplant salad, saksuka, and the chicken kabobs. Again, everything was so delicious and devoured. I'd say I rarely ordered chicken kabobs since white meat tends to dry out so easily, but based on our previous experience, I'd knew they would knock it out of the park, which they did. They somehow made the chicken stay moist and tender. 5/5

Yelp
Superb, Çok güzel balık ve rakı! Ne ağ, ne olta, balik rakiyla yakalanir! The best and perfect place this side of the Agean to get exceptionally well prepared Turkish food! This establishment is easy to find with plenty of parking. We had reservations since it was for my son's birthday. The ambiance is perfect for an intimate dinner, and the only thing missing was the sounds of the Agean lapping up against the pier! The staff treat you as well as any true Turkish restaurant does to include table side de-boning of your fish. We ordered many items and shared. Some were tapas, others for plates. A special meal should be a dining experience where you mix great company with various delectable flavors over the evening. Items continued to come to the table as we finished making room for more. I only had a 19 months living in Turkey, so I might not be an expert, but all of the items tasted better than what I remembered. My taste buds remained delighted, and belly was thrilled! The staff was helpful with the requested cake my son was craving, and they truly reminded me of the friends I left behind in Izmir. While my daughter-in-law is absolutely NOT a fan of raki, the raki and fish dinners in my past were meaningful times. I appreciated my son indulging me along with the staff for this special occasion. This restaurant is a true 5 star on all levels within a very reasonable price. Stretch your culture, expand your fine food taste experience, and enjoy fine Turkish food as others have for thousands of years. This place can help you do that! Afiyet olsun!

Meghan M.

Yelp
Delicious Turkish food that comes out quickly and is very flavorful! We had a variety of dishes, but my favorites were the chicken adana and the vegetarian couscous. They were scrumptious and had me wanting more! The service was attentive and patient. This place was really popular for a weekday evening; it was completely packed and had lots of live music. We were a bit cramped sitting as a party of five in a booth, but this was the only table they had and the quick service and delicious food made up for it! Would definitely recommend making a reservation beforehand. I had a great experience and would recommend this place to folks looking for good Turkish food in a lively restaurant!

Bethanne A.

Yelp
I husband was looking for an Arabic restaurant and as usual I couldn't convince this was Turkey. Oh well, I love Turkey cuisine and he got a taste it. The restaurant clientele tells you is it is authentic Turkish cooking. The restaurant was packed. Service was excellent and staff cordial. The Manager told me the name of the soup I has been trying to find from my trips to Turkey so I was happy to add that to my Pinterest. Recommend this little gem we found on YELP.

Amelea J.

Yelp
The waiters and waitresses and friendly and willing to help you and make recommendations. The aesthetics of the restaurant is charming. They do hooka on the patio which is cool. The food is delicious - no matter what you get. The flat bread comes out hot and fresh for you - that's the best part !!

Helen E.

Yelp
What a great find! We came late on a Friday and loved the vibe at Selda- friendly servers, lots of patrons, fun music. The food was excellent- we tried a variety of vegetarian times- lentil soup, halloumi, and spinach and feta pide. It was also served with homemade pide and labneh at the start of the meal. Highly recommend and can't wait to go back!

Kevin P.

Yelp
Super unassuming from the outside, on the back end of a strip mall, but the food and staff are so AUTHENTIC. The food is delicious, staff is wonderful and legitimately the best baklava I've ever had. You gotta try it, it's a hidden gem.

Pooja R.

Yelp
Firstly, love the ambiance and the location! We had been to "The mayors house by selda" so definitely had high expectations and indeed this restaurant met all our expectations! Volcan took great care of us the moment we were seated - he was extremely jolly and good to talk to! For the food, let me tell you everything was amazing! For the appetizers we had - hummus, grilled eggplant salad, falafel and shishito peppers! For the entree- we had the Adana chicken kebab and grilled branzino ( highly recommend both the dishes) and we finished off the meal with tea (which btw was complimentary)! Overall, I highly recommend visiting this place! Trust me, you won't be disappointed *__*

Yelp
Coming back from a trip to Istanbul, I was quite impressed on how authentic this place was in their food! 4.5 stars is probably more accurate, but otherwise a fatastic choice in North Dallas. Don't underestimate how busy this place can get on a Friday at 5pm. If at all possible, try to get a reservation. Luckily, they gave me 75 minutes as a walk in. Service is attentive to body language, and they don't rely on harassing you throughout the night. They do a good job or being transparent about cook times and how busy the kitchen is. The Ali Nazik was fantastic all the way around. The beef was tender, the eggplant puree had a great mix of yogurt in its composition. Probably my favorite proper entrée. The lamb chops here were divine. They were cooked medium rare. This is not common that lamb chops outside of a fancy steakhouse are cooked properly. I could actually taste the lamb in all its glory in this case! Yeah its expensive portion wise, but for how it tastes and how it was cooked, I would easily order again. The spinach feta cheese pide boat is a solid choice. Personally, it could have been cheesier, but for what was there, it's still enjoyable. The bread was fairly soft on the inside but still had that exterior crunch that I crave. The bacon "dressed" stuffed dates were quite enjoyable. I use the word dressed because saying wrap is not accurate in this case. The date sits on top of bacon, which is fine by me. The taste is concentrated with the umami anchor that is this dish. The dates could have been slightly softer for my taste, but not at all unpleasant. The bean tomato salad thing was actually quite enjoyable. Light and refreshing without feeling like a chore or heavy on the tongue. Both meat dishes come with a bed of rice that it sits on. I personally didn't find it necessary, but I guess this is their way of having the customers leave full and happy. The complimentary bread was quite nice as well, with the labneh being the most exciting part about it.

Shreya C.

Yelp
Went here for lunch with a friend and I have to say, we were very pleasantly surprised! Loved everything about this place. We ordered the cigar borek which was crisp on the outside with goey flavourful cheese on the inside. The side sauce it came with was also very nice. For mains, we ordered the grilled branzino and the lamb chops. Both were fantastic, specially the branzino...sooo soft. They gave us complimentary bread and dip and it was soo good. The bread was fresh and hot. For drinks we got the Bellini (requested for it since they don't have a cocktail menu but will happily make any cocktail you ask for). It was just perfect, not too sweet. The service was prompt and they were very accommodating of all our requests. The ambiance is that of a cosy neighbourhood upscale restaurant. They do have outside patio seating too. All in all, highly recommend. Will definitely will be back!

Brianna E.

Yelp
Literally typing this over my complimentary Turkish Tea and couldn't be more thrilled to share my experience here at Selda :) Upon arrival, doors were opened and the servers were quick to greet and get my partner and I seated. We got a nice booth overlooking the view of the beautifully structured and elevated middle eastern landscape of the restaurant. The bar is eccentric and has bursts of blues making you feel like you're in a hidden oasis. The lighting was perfect and the overall vibe was eclectic; I adore a good eclecticism. Our server, Volkan D, was quick on his feet and very helpful. I tend to ask for a lot while eating out and I was also in service industry and know how annoying it is, but he never got bothered. He was eager to make sure things were top notch. Thanks Volkan! At some point I got up to use the restroom and the manager (or owner, I forgot to get his name) also checked in with me and I expressed how great everything was. The random check-ins make guests feel important so I loved that. We started off with the complimentary pita bread (freshly baked and was still risen from the oven), and complimentary labneh- both phenomenal. We ordered Turkish feta and olives to pair with our hummus and then for our entrees, I had the Urfa Kebab and my partner had the Lamb Shish with a side of the bean salad. Everything was SO insanely good that we felt terrible admitting that it might be our new favorite middle eastern hole in the wall. The Urfa had a slight fragrant taste to it that made the savory juices beyond palatable. The lamb was our favorite (we shared everything). It had a slight gaminess which we love and was charred flawlessly. The meat was buttery and melted into my tastebuds as I chewed away. The salad was dressed well and had an acidic taste to it that went great with the overall citrus and herby flavor. Everything was decadent and mouth-watering. We can't wait to come back. Same time next week?

Yelp
Met a friend for dinner. The dining room was too loud with not enjoyable live music, which made conversation very difficult. Both my friend and I ordered the pistachio meatball plate, but the server only brought out one plate telling us that we only ordered one plate. It took a long time for the second plate to arrive, so the first plate was already cold. The pistachio meatball was dry and not a meatball, but more like a kofta kebab without a stick. To counteract the dry meatball, the plate was drowned with sauce. The white bean salad was more like an onion salad. Although we ordered knafeh early, it took a long time to get the dessert. When the knafeh arrived, it was burned. The server never checked on us. Not a good experience.

Yelp
Girls Night went off with a bang! First things first, please make a reservation. I waited too late, and thankfully, the host accommodated my part of 3, but they do fill up and only catered to reservation. After having my dining experience, I can absolutely agree! We ordered mainly from the small bite menu and were highly surprised they offered more food for each plate than expected. If you go with a party of 4, there will be one bite per person to try. Such great tactic to try and not overfill yourself. All of the dishes were great in flavor, wonderfully presented, and had me wanting more. My least favorite was the lentil soup, not as thick as I would have liked and not much spice/flavor involved. My favorite was the stuff dates, I'm still surprised how the sweetness and savory blended so well. I also like to add that all of their fried plates were not greasy and oddly light, I have a sensitive stomach, so tasing these items were a bit of a risk, but I would do it again. As for the desserts, the Turkish flan fell flat. It didn't really capture any flavor in the custard. However, it was my first time trying Kunefe, and it was delicious!! I'm so excited to return and try an entree and reorder their Kunefe This restaurant has a great staff, and the restaurant is beautifully set up. It has a great dinner experience, and I highly recommend trying it out!

Yelp
So it's been a very long time since we were last here. The menu is completely different and even the name of the restaurant has changed. Service was friendly, food came out quickly and we enjoyed all of it. The stuffed dates appetizer and kunefe dessert were my favorite parts of the meal, but I will definitely be back to try more items (and take some photos).

Yelp
The food truck was at The Truck Yard in the The Colony. I got a gyro and greek fries. It took about 15 minutes to get prepped. The gyro was a bit messy, but we are at a food truck. It had pickles in it which I would have preferred on the side. Additionally, they could have done with some more tzatziki sauce. Otherwise it was still a good meal. My friend got the chicken gyro and said it could have used some more seasoning.

Yelp
Amazing, real flavorful food cooked to perfection. With a lot of restaurants sacrificing food quality and service, this was a refreshing experience. Stunning food, impecable service.

Yelp
This is my favorite Mediterranean restaurant in the DFW metroplex. It seems to be everyone else's favorite as well with how packed it was on a Friday night. They also offer hookah outside. My favorite items were the fried cauliflower and lamb shank. The cauliflower was accompanied with three sauces and they were phenomenal! I could eat two plates by myself easily. Then, the lamb shank was tender, moist, and savory. It laid on a bed of rice and bean salad. I'm not a fan of beans but it worked for me. It's so good I plan on going back soon. The servers are fun and nice. The restaurant is cool and casual. Neat place to take your friends, partner, kids, business, etc. It'll have something for everybody.

Yelp
My recent dining experience was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we stepped in, we were enveloped by a warm and inviting ambiance. The outdoor seating, complete with fire stands at each table, added a charming touch to the evening. What truly stood out, however, was the impeccable service we received throughout the meal. The staff members were not only attentive but also genuinely friendly, making us feel right at home. Now, onto the star of the show: the food. We indulged in a variety of dishes, each one more delightful than the last. The falafel, in particular, deserves special mention for its perfect texture and flavor - a definite must-try for any diner. Additionally, the lamb dishes and salads showcased the restaurant's commitment to quality ingredients and culinary expertise. Overall, it exceeded all expectations, providing a dining experience that was as memorable as it was enjoyable. I wholeheartedly recommend this establishment to anyone in search of exceptional food, ambiance, and service.

Yelp
I didn't take any pictures this but we all LOVED our meal. We were driving up to Oklahoma and decided to go a little out of our way to try this restaurant I heard of on TikTok. I'm so glad we did. We got pita that came with a luscious yogurt dip,, hummus, flatbread, esme (a tomato based dip), a chicken skewer that came with rice and white bean salad, falafel, and baklava and tea for dessert. A cute atmosphere and attentive service. We will definitely be back.

Yelp
Overall had a great experience at Selda! The location is very unassuming at first but the inside decor is super cute and creates a homey atmosphere. The food itself was delish! Very flavorful and each dish had a good quantity of food. I recommend the salmon and couscous! The service was good but nothing special. It took a while to get a hold of the waiter to get more bread when the place wasn't crazy busy. Overall I would definitely go back!!

Yelp
Amazing atmosphere! Such a lively restaurant with great vibes, mainly from the diners. 9/10 The food is good and there are great options. Prices are reasonable. Definitely a great place to share plates. 7/10 The service was a little ehh. Not much personality and kind of uncomfortable because it felt like we were being annoying and judged the whole time. 5/10

Yelp
So delicious and authentic. The cheese borak was so good, and it was lightly fried. If you are looking for authentic Mediterranean food this is a great spot. Service was great too

Yelp
Could not have been more blown away by entire experience. Food was authentic and fresh, servers were amazing and attentive, atmosphere was more upscale than expected from the outside and the prices were phenomenal compared to the service and food quality. Found their location online and took some of state guests there on a whim and pleasantly surprised. Made us look like we knew the great spots to go and we all left with our pallets singing. We will be back again!

Yelp
We started with the halloumi cheese which was tasty but needed to be warmer. We also ordered the cigar borek which was good, but it had a deep fried oily taste, so I'm not sure if I would order it again. My husband's lamb shish was really delicious and I loved the Beyti special. It was amazing and I had never eaten anything quite like it before. Our server was excellent and the restaurant, while super casual, is also charming. We had a 6:00 rez, and by the time we left it was packed. We would definitely go back! My biggest criticism is the overwhelming smell of Fabuloso. I appreciate a clean restaurant and clean table, but hope they can figure something else out.

Yelp
I love this place. Great food, friendly service and atmosphere. The inside is so inviting but I love their outdoor seating also- since that's so hard to find in this area. You must try the ezme appetizer with a glass of nice red wine - my favorite. We generally just get a bunch of the small plates but it's all wonderful.

Yelp
Whether I'm lunching here on a lazy afternoon or having dinner on one of their boisterous weekend nights, their food is consistently great. Most recently, I loved Selda's tasty Stuffed Dates; A+ grilled Lamb Chops; and, amazing dessert of syrup, shredded wheat, and cheese 'Kunefe'. Their service is friendly and good when called upon. Comfortable enough is their dining room. Nicer it is out on their patio if weather permits. CHEERS!
