🎸 My Honest Review of the Hard Rock Seminole (Guitar Hotel) – Hollywood, FL
Deluxe King Room | 1 Night | $553 all in (tax + resort fee) + $35 valet
Occasion: My husband’s 65th birthday
Let’s start with the good, because there was good.
We tried to self-park, but the signage was confusing no clear direction for hotel guests. After circling a bit, we gave up and went with valet. Honestly? Worth it. Everyone was professional, friendly, and made it easy. No complaints there.
I did early check-in through the Unity app, uploaded my license, got the “you’re all set” message… but of course, I wasn’t. It was already past check-in time and still no digital key. So we headed to the desk. The gentleman there was great—helpful and patient. Took a minute to find us because they had the reservation under my first name. Not ideal, but we got it sorted.
Now, the hotel itself? Gorgeous. Clean. Lots to do. Every employee we interacted with was eager to help. Big thumbs up on that front.
We grabbed a late lunch/early dinner at the food court. It was typical fast food—burger was decent, nothing to write home about—but the area was clean and it was easy to find a table.
We had tickets to a show at Hard Rock Live, which was super convenient since it’s right there in the hotel. The venue was beautiful, acoustics were fantastic, and the show itself was absolutely worth it.
Breakfast at Rise the next morning? Excellent. We had omelets, home fries, fruit, yogurt, and fresh OJ. Everything was fresh and delicious, and the service was spot-on.
I have changed my original review - Hardrock reached out regarding the room next to the elevator and made it right.
