Semolina Restaurant

11-18-19 lunchtime. Our waitress was Lauren. Super sweet and very helpful. I let her pick my meal for the most part. The tables and floors appeared to be clean. The food was good, and also had good presentation. After we were set it took a wile for someone to show up and take our drink order other then that everything was really good. I do recommend this location and highly recommend the waitress Lauren. I would return to this location. Overall good job 👍

The food was excellent. It wasn't crowded. The wait staff was pleasant and were attentive to our cups staying full. I had the Sangria drink and it was worth every penny. We will be back again.

This place has a great decor and the food is amazing. I enjoyed every bite of my tour of Italy and my girlfriend had the veggie pasta. The chicken was fried to perfection with amazing marinara sauce. This place is a hidden gem when it comes to italian restaurants in Metarie. A perfect place for food and drinks before going to the movies at AMC.

Cartilage in the chicken! Grabbed the Pasta Jambalaya and the chicken had cartilage bits in it, which is pretty gross to bite into. Feel like people need to know about that before they order anything with chicken here. It certainly put a damper on the meal unfortunately. I would imagine it is primarily a supply chain issue and not necessarily anything the staff can do, but I’m no expert. Sausage was good, but the pasta was not the best. On a positive note, they came and checked on us and we causally mentioned it and they took $5 off the meal. Probably a 100% comp situation, but it was a decent attempt. The waiter was very nice and picked up on us splitting and had the dish split up for us prior to bringing it out.

I went on 11/12/18 around 11ish. I was seated immediately and it wasn't crowded. They give you complimentary French bread and butter. I had the cheeseburger pasta. It was good, but could have been seasoned a little more for my tastebuds, but I like my food highly seasoned. Others may enjoy it just fine.

Very good food! Friendly waiter, not that crowded when we came. I had the Macro Pollo Salad, the chicken was delicious 🤤. Nice atmosphere. Seem to have good dessert options, will come back to try.

Quiet, spacious place. Affordable, great, light, delicious & plentiful food. Hannah was a good server! Overall, great experience everytime!😁

I enjoy my food every time I dine here. The customer service is good as well.
