Google
I really liked this place! Super cute decor/furniture, good snacks & boba, and a cute store combo with the flower shop in back and grocery items, inflicting organic teas which I don’t find often!

Ran across this cute little organic store, it has so many little treasures.. mushrooms, fruits, veggies… almond milks. It just makes me happy every time I find places that provide vegan options.

Took two weeks to get a refund for a $100+ order that they said they likely couldn't fulfill (even though the item was and still is listed on their site). I went ahead and told them to just cancel the order. Never received a cancellation confirmation email, and my email requesting one never received a response. I had to call over and over but they claimed to have problems issuing the refund. First they claimed to have never gotten the money as the order was cancelled and they didn't capture the payment, and therefore couldn't issue a refund. This was despite the payment showing as completed/posted in my account. I was told to call my bank for a refund 🧐. Then they claimed they were talking to their payment processor and would call me back. They never called back. I had to continue to call them for an update which never came. Days passed and when I would call, suddenly the manager wasn't available and they had no idea what day she would return. Nearly two weeks into the nightmare they were able to fix the problem and issue a refund, even though they supposedly never got the money. The store clerk was helpful, however, and always took my calls. But she could only do so much as the manager and/or owner needed to fix the problem, but were clearly avoiding the issue. Do not shop here if you value your time, money, and sanity. Update: A few days after my initial review the item was removed from their website.

No confirmation emails/receipts provided after the initial order for their shipping errors. Called two times and still no emails, receipts or updates whatsoever although the same email address they claimed didn't work, conveniently did work after I took it higher up. Contacted higher up, and may wipe review upon receiving the refund confirmation receipt/email... Edit: Received a reply from the owner and got a fake apology for all of their staff's mistakes that took all day and the next for them to "solve." Their emails apparently don't work or they just make it a hassle to get a refund, even when they mess up.

I frequent Sen to get lunch and boba from Chum Chum. I’d say their pricing is on par with anything else in the area. The boba is usually great and it’s awesome that I can always get it dairy free. The onigiri and kabobs with salad are solid lunch choices. Only knocking off a star because I find the touch screen menu isn’t very intuitive. It takes a few uses to understand the flow and where things are. I can’t complain much because I very much doubt that they built the system, but maybe things could be better organized.

Google
Very cute and good food but they need to edit their menu to reflect price changes. All it takes is a sharpie and a piece of masking tape. They charged 8.99 for my bubble tea when the menu said 5.60 something.

Yelp
After the renovation of these shops in Carytown, I really think they stepped up their game when it comes to the selection of goods they offer. I love how you can visit all three stores without ever having to walk back outside. Stop by for food at Chum Chum, do some shopping in Sen Organic, and pickup some flowers on your way out. I used to come to eat at Chum Chum during my breaks at work and it was always an easy and convenient meal. The Sen Organic before was lots of dried and refrigerated goods. Now that they have expanded into the former Tokyo Market space, they have much more room to hold ceramics, snacks, and other little trinkets. They even have a cute photo booth area behind a curtain with some fun hats! I haven't tried the food since the renovation and I've seen some poor reviews on it so be weary. Besides that I love the larger selection of Vietnamese products.

Yelp
Super cute Asian mini super market. They have food, dessert, stationaries, groceries, tea, plates/bowls, etc. The items are a bit pricier but definitely stop by. Originally, we stopped by to get some onigiri (rice balls) but since it was 30 minutes before closing, they already ran out of majority of their onigiri options for the day. I do love the fact they serve bingsu (shaved ice) here. Would have loved to try it out if it wasn't already closing time.

Yelp
Cute storefront that is well organized and felt very homey. I'll have to come back to get mushrooms, they had a wide variety! Also would like to try their French butter as well. Today we ordered pork belly onigiri and the salmon onigiri. Unfortunately they had run out of pork belly and I chose the chicken katsu to substitute. We also got the taro bingsu. The salmon onigiri was great, chicken katsu had good flavor but was on the dry side. The star was the taro bingsu. Sooo good! Will come back just for this alone! Service was friendly as well.

Yelp
This is a go to for quick pick up of delicious pho. If anyone is feeling under the weather in our home we always grab this for them. It's easy to store in the freezer before use. If you're going to friends for dinner stop by for a hostess gift as they have a wide variety of quality as well as unique gifts and food. It's a little pricey but the items offered are high quality.

Yelp
Cute little shop that shares the Asian cultures but very over priced! Their li xi's which is a red envelope said in Vietnamese is usually $2.50 at an actual Vietnamese grocery store but here, they were priced at $5.99. Their chrysanthemum for lunar new year are $15.99 and drying before the new year started. I would just go to an actual Asian grocery store to find things like this. But it goes to show how expensive and how quality are here.

Yelp
What a cute little market that offers French and Viet goods!! I stumbled upon this place while walking around Carytown and intrigued by the fact that they had frozen pho? Upon walking in, I noticed that there were several sections in this store. There was an area that sold produce and had some Asian goods like star anise. The frozen pho and frozen bun hue - made with organic ingredients - were kept in the back amongst the row of freezers. Apparently, all you need to do is to add water into these prepackage noodle bowels to get make some pho at home! There was another section that was like a coffee shop with some baked goods, along with some tables and chairs inside/outside. The pastries looked pretty good but I only saw a small drink menu with approx. 4 items? Perhaps it will expand as this store grows. They also have pretty hip items like spiked tea and Meyers candles. Overall, the fusion concept was pretty interesting. I liked how the store had cute aesthetics with lots of plants/wooden items and offered a wide range of produce and goods. I didn't end up getting anything so next time I definitely want to try their food/pastries/drinks!

Yelp
I found this place online and was thrilled at their selection. I made a purchase. The item size was switched to a smaller size - exactly half the size. I called to let them know that the wrong size was shipped and they said THEY made a mistake online and refused to honor the item purchased. No call was made to let me know at the time of purchase or shipping. I didn't get a choice. I feel like this is a total bait and switch and they should be held accountable.

Yelp
Food is absolutely amazing! And I love that they use fresh ingredients, have frozen options available, and sell a variety of goods. The only reason I'm giving a 4 rather than 5 star rating is the price. They have good quality and should be expected to have higher prices, but the prices are still a little too high in my opinion. Regardless, I will be coming back! I just won't be going too often due to the price.

I am new to the area and love this place! Every time I visit, everyone is so nice and super helpful! They have an amazing tea selection!
