The famous Huat Klang for bak kut teh, best known as “under the bridge bkt”z If you’re a fan of rich, herbal broth and generous cuts of pork, this is the real deal.
We ordered a variety of bowls — pork belly, soft and fatty trotters, ribs, and even some braised chicken feet. Each bowl came piping hot with that signature Klang-style herbal broth — dark, aromatic, and full of depth. The meat was tender and flavourful, falling off the bone with just a poke of the spoon.
The you tiao (Chinese crullers) were perfect for dipping — crispy on the outside, soaking up the soup like a sponge. And of course, a plate of plain white rice on the side to balance it all out.
Highly recommend coming hungry — and maybe with a group, so you can try everything. Suggest to visit early before selection run out.
