Senglao Café

This place is a hidden gem in Vientiane. It has tons of character. The American interior style and decoration style from the 80ties and 90ties is just amazing, together with the music it just pulls you into the complex atmosphere. The old theater seats in the exterior garden area are a nice touch! Coffe is great, selection of pastries good too. I'd definitely recommend this one!

Great place for Western food in Laos. Pizza was tasty and the ice tea was one of the best I've ever had.

Really snazzy place with good fusion food. 🍱 it has space for parking. I loved the yum salmon :)

My family enjoys coming to Senglao -- it's a popular restaurant with locals. The food is good -- my children like the fish and chips and I like the pesto pasta. Lots of variety on the menu, but it seems a little pricey compared to comparable restaurants (to be fair inflation is high right now). They have a great location with some patio dining -- sitting outside is great, it's a good place for a relaxing meal. Good bakery items, ice cream, and coffee available. Senglao shows its colors a few times a year when they host events -- handicraft markets, etc. Worth checking out and we'll happily eat here again.

This cafe is being introduced by my local Laos friend. Love the concept of the cafe where it is a mixture of the 80’s and 90’s time. Heard that during lunch time and dinner time, it will be very crowded. Was there with my friends at around 2pm. Very nice and peaceful environment. For the food, the pizza and pasta is a must try over there. For the drinks, most of them are very nice. Highly recommend for cafe hopping lovers!

Good cafe, not bad. We took sausages, a very large and delicious portion. Responsive staff. Interesting atmosphere, in the style of cinema.
