The best sustainable cafés in Asia - SilverKris

"This Ubud hangout functions as a café, studio and roaster, with brewing equipment, apparel and coffee beans for sale alongside the cafés offerings. Interiors favor natural and reclaimed woods, and the in-house-designed Bar Rockers — teak and plastic rocking chairs — are a signature draw. All coffees are prepared by hand via siphon, pour-over or hand-pull; tasting platters offer three- or five-coffee samplers for indecisive visitors. The dragon fruit smoothie bowl, topped with fruit, granola, cacao nibs and goji berries, is a popular non-coffee option. Sustainability efforts include sourcing local coffee beans, using upcycled glassware and recycling spent coffee grounds into soap that’s sold in the shop." - Joyce Huang

📍 Coffee with a Creative Twist in Ubud? ⬇️ ✨ Save & Share this spot ✨ If you’re in Ubud and love coffee, Seniman Coffee is a must-visit! ☕️🌴 The vibe is super chill with jazz music, breezy seating (both AC & non-AC), and a creative menu full of unique signature drinks. I tried the Wild Side — a mix of cold brew, coconut, honey, and lime — and it was honestly one of the most refreshing and unforgettable coffee experiences I’ve ever had in Bali. 🍯🥥🍋 The cold brew sampler and nitro espresso mocha are also next-level! And don’t even get me started on the croissants 🥐… perfect. Yes, it’s a little pricey, but the quality, atmosphere, and attentive staff make it worth every rupiah. A gem in Ubud for true coffee lovers. 🌿 👉 Have you ever tried a coffee that surprised you with its flavor? - Very cool vibe and atmosphere - They have a lot of signature coffees and menu items. - Tried the Wild Erness which is a coffee topped with white chocolate cream and it’s pretty good but it tastes more like dessert rather than a wake up juice, in case that’s your thing. - They have AC and non-AC area but even the non-AC area is full of breeze so it was nice to hang out there. - A little pricey but I feel like it’s worth it because I always enjoy my time and my drinks there

Visited in Aug 2025 One of the best coffee places in Ubud. Tried a few cold brews which were quite good. Seniman also gives a small biscuit/cookie with every beverage you order, which is quite a nice gesture. I also packed some beans for home. Would definitely recommend a visit if you’re staying in Ubud.

So much selection of coffee!! I especially love their house blend from my flat white (make sure you ask for double shots if you prefer strong coffee as the default is one espresso shot only) — rosy, chocolatey, and nutty. Bought a few bags of beans with me so I can try at home. Food here is surprisingly tasty!! We got an avocado toast (Indonesian avocado is more mild and watery than the creamy Mexican counterpart just to manage expectations; it’s still good to feel full & healthy from its big portion). We also loved the Asian chicken salad (chicken is so flavorful and tender!!) and the refreshing sesame handmade noodles (wow the handmade noodles are delicious!!) Would love to come back if we were in Ubud for longer.

Very unique cafe in ubud. As it suggests in their name "seniman" (=artist) they took coffee very seriously. Half of their menu consists of coffee from all over Indonesia. Coffee and tea actually. The chairs are rocking chairs!! Lol. They also sell coffee beans and tea leaves, a lot of kinds. They also do coffee workshops with reservation. Cozy place, friendly staff. Great cafe experience.

Very chill atmosphere. Incredibly attentive staff. I loved the cold brew sampler and the nitro espresso mocha! The croissants here are absolutely fantastic and we were both HIGE fans of the sausage! I love that you can get protein shakes here as well! Just a gem of a place that I wish I discovered earlier in my trip. Jazz vibes, strong coffee and good food. This is definitely my type of coffee spot!

Absolutely loved my experience at Seniman Kopi! The coffee here is truly exceptional—rich, smooth, and perfectly brewed. The food is just as impressive; everything I tried was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. What really made the visit special was the outstanding service. The staff are incredibly welcoming, and a big shoutout to specially the baristas Rimba and Yoga—they were so friendly, attentive, and clearly passionate about what they do. Their warm and genuine hospitality made the whole experience even better. Highly recommended for anyone looking for great coffee, delicious food, and top-notch service in a cozy atmosphere. Can't wait to come back!
