"Gusswerk – once a bell foundry – is an impressive location for a restaurant. Details of the old industrial architecture have been skilfully combined with chic, stylish modern furnishings. The centrepiece is the open kitchen, where Andreas Senn and chef Christian Geisler cook up a creative set menu, the finesse of which is really memorable! Great care is taken to incorporate the five flavour elements into the dishes. The service is top-notch, very good wine recommendations." - Michelin Inspector

My time at Senns was amazing from beginning to end. I was greeted and served by the nicest and warmest staff. The vibe is probably the best among all the Michelin places that I have been to. The restaurant is a part of what used to be a bell foundry. A bell that was produced in the foundry is used as a chandelier now. Many other cool objects are there as well such as the Poet Speakers that played phenomenal soft EDM/house. Last but not least, the food is amazing. The highlights were the little appetizers and desserts that represented the five tastes from sweet to umami. Wine list is lean but mean. Overall, Senns is a must when it comes to Salzburg.

Unfortunately our dinner at Senna was a huge disappointment. We found us in a 2 star restaurant with the atmosphere of a cheap schnitzel paradise. A very loud, poor dressed group of 30 persons gave us no chance to have a conversation or enjoy our meal. When we asked for the chef, he acknowledged the problem, he should have given us the choice to either reschedule or accept this.

Amazing experience. The restaurant is located about 15 minutes (by car) outside of Salzburg’s city center in a converted industrial area. The building was once a cast iron foundry, the last church bell produced in it is the centerpiece of decoration in the dining room. The style is very modern with an open kitchen which we liked a lot. We enjoyed a 7 course menu, one of them vegetarian, and the wine pairing as recommended by the sommelier. Food was amazing - creative, but not over the top, delicious, and well presented by a very attentive service team. Certainly lives up to its two Michelin stars.

This was our 2nd visit to Senns in 2 years. After our 1st visit we knew that we had to go back. It didn't disappoint. The food, service & atmosphere were just as amazing as our 1 visit. Hope to get back there again.

Google
Solid two stars Michelin cooking - and two stars is exactly the right score. This is fine cuisine with competent execution, but it lacks here and there of finesse. Nevertheless, highly recommended. The only drawback: We have been here several times. It seems that the menu does not change too much. But all in all, as mentioned, there is not a lot to complain about here. Enjoy! Food: 4.49 Service: 4.8 Location: 4.7

a short stop an the way back from tyrol. senns restaurant is located a bit outside of salzburg(check that out in advance) in a mix of old and very modern buildings. The restaurant itself moved to an old bell foundry a few years ago. and what a location! A well made combination of old industrial machinery and modern and stylish elements embedded in the dark features of old bricks. made to wow! There is only one set meal(at the moment) and we chose the wine accompaignment as well. The dinner begins and ends with examples of the 5 flavors, first savoury, then sweet. excellent little bites. i also fell in love with the bread and aired butter and laurel powder! Not to forget the little pork belly burger, that would be best selling in every hawker centre in singapor. Inbetween we found a large variation of very different tastes, very delicate, often surprising but not confusing and perfectly executed every time. Everything in this restaurant is aiming to impress, beginning with the bold steel work from it s past to partly sitting on a large glass window showing the old groundfloor, 5 meters down. I also need to shine a light to the members of service, doing their job with passion, perfection and still have the time for a little fun on the side. absolutely recommended!

Such an experience! For the fine dining amateurs, SENNS is a must. My wife invited me for my birthday and we were welcomed by a very friendly staff member. The ambiance is lovely. In an old factory it mixes modern touch with historical elements. The food is outstanding, chef Senn explores ingredients, texture and influences seamlessly in a ballet of dishes that will surprise you and make you travel at the same time. Cherry on the cake, the chef himself, on top of coordinating the kitchen serves and undresses tables with his staff. Such an outstanding display of simplicity, it is humbling. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Amazing atmosphere, service and food. It was very difficult to find. It was dark and raining and we had taken the bus, since we were visiting and didn't have a car. There was no clear sign for the restaurant which led to us walking around for a good 10 minutes looking for it. It's tucked away in between buildings but once you enter it's like stepping into a different world. It's elegant and simple but welcoming. The service was top tier and everyone was very friendly. The food was outstanding and the servers knowledge of each dish was truly fantastic. We appreciated the server giving us a little history about the building. The chef also prepared a small cake for us as we were celebrating our honeymoon which was *chefs kiss* The whole experience was amazing My only issue was that they really tried to push the wine pairing. Every dish they asked if we wanted to order wine or have the pairing. It became a little annoying because we had already said multiple times we didn't not want the pairing.

Yelp
The restaurant is located in an industrial building to the north of Salzburg. There are parking spots here. When you enter the industrial meets modern materials feel greets you with a fire holograph. This building used to be a bell factory and you can see remnants of that. The kitchen is open and beautifully on display. The food was quite good. My favorite was the foie gras. The Manitoba bread has the highest gluten content of all breads and was quite delicious with the butter. The kanoshima beef from Japan was fatty and melted in my mouth - very good. The service was not bad.

Yelp
Great place a taxi ride away from the old town center! We had a quiet dinner and the staff were so attentive and welcoming. They serve you an amuse bouche and dessert set that composed items that tasted like the five different tastes (sour, sweet, salty, bitter, and umami) which were really fun to try.

Yelp
Excellent service and unbelievably sumptuous sauces! Had to take a cab to the restaurant from the main town in Salzburg, but it was worth it. Wine pairing was amazing and the care the chef put was unforgettable.

Yelp
Just got done with Senns. For anyone to rate this place a 3 star is a travesty. By far one of the best restaurants in the entire country. The dishes are creative, delicious, and satisfying. 3 stars!!???? This is why we can't have nice things on the Internet. Senns is a 2 star Michelin restaurant, which means it ranks with the best in the world. Expect to pay $75-$100 per person.

Yelp
The interior design is good. Execution is not. Table flower has nothing to do with the setting. Music should be edgy and energetic, but it was non existent and I am only hearing conversation of tables in the restaurant. Sommelier doesn't talk wine language. Three tables only in Friday night. Don't think it will long very long
