Tacos are delicious. The tortillas are great. Al pastor was our favorite. The staff is amazing very friendly and the service was fast.

Stephan

Google
Excellent food but he place smelled like w chlorinated airport restroom stall earlier this week.

We LOVE Señor Ramon!! Anytime family or friends visit and want to see Leesburg, I immediately bring them here. I cannot recommend the super Ramon enough. Its converted my most stubborn relatives.

Kenny Griswold

Google
Everything was excellent! Happened to come in during happy hour which was a nice surprise. Had the al pastor and barbacoa traditional tacos for the deal as well as the Patagonia and the super Ramon tacos.

I’ve been coming to Señor Ramon’s for years, since their old porch location and now this larger spot. They’ve always been consistent and the food is delicious. Friday can get hectic, and there’s never enough tables for the crowd they attract. (There’s a secret downstairs with more seating and restrooms.) happy hour hasn’t been advertised much in the past, but that’s changed in recent months. Food recommendations: the corn nuggets are a must, and if you love shrimp, the TS 478! Typically 1-2 tacos are the norm per person, depending on how hungry you are, and how many sides you order. 3 tacos and you’ll regret it.

Brett Mullen

Google
A local store owner off of South King recommended this place and it didn’t disappoint. The tacos are street style and around $4, they have mode made salsas that were great and the music playing an indie rock like black keys. I’d recommend it for authentic taco lovers and those who like specialty tacos as well.

Google
Friendly staff. Fast service. I rather enjoyed my green bowl, with chicken. Extra balsamic. Very filling. Could have used some more salsa and a bit more chicken. It was loaded with cheese. Nice crisp and fresh lettuce.

Google
These are the tacos that I have been searching for! Not dry, and multiple layers of flavor with every bite. They have the simple options of meat, cilantro, and onion, but they also have a ton more fancy options within a reasonable budget. This isn’t your typical taco place!

Yelp
We happened upon this cozy little joint in downtown Leesburg. You could tell when walking in that you were going to get an authentic taco experience ... and it did not disappoint. My wife and I ordered a few different tacos to sample and they were all fantastic. But the one that stood out the most was the Al Pastor. The pork was sooo tender and flavorful, I actually had to go back to the counter and order another. Looking forward to sampling more of the menu.

Fred G.

Yelp
My earlier reviews were kinda harsh, I am owning all that. It was never the food, but the surly service delivered by some guys working the bar. Probably a covid effect. My last 3 or 4 visits have all been much more pleasant. Service is great, food is excellent, as always. Beer selection is like 8 or more on tap. Menu seems to have expanded too, Mixed drinks are supposed to be keeping pace with the rest of the mixology in LeesVegas. Very friendly guys behind the bar. Tip 'em folks. Also, Happy Hour 2-6 Tues - Thurs.!

Yelp
Flavorful food. We took a drive through the countryside and decided to walk around the town for a bit. Feeling hungry, we decided to check this place out. Service was good, with very friendly staff taking our order at the counter. And the setting was casual comfortable. There's a wide selection to choose from and we found everything we ordered to be delicious. The meats were moist and cooked perfectly. The corn nuggets were so good, and sweet. For tacos I had the Loco, my wife an Al Pastor, and son a Jose Jose, and two pork empanadas.

Bob A.

Yelp
The barrio tacos are worth the drive. Amazing I asked the bar for a mescal old fashioned-no problemo. Love the downstairs- wide open and clean. Cool vibe. I think these people are on it

Fernando B.

Yelp
Still one of my favorites. Great tacos, great staff but be aware of this: THE HOUSE KEEPS ALL THE TIPS YOU LEAVE THROUGH CREDIT CARD PAYMENT. That's right, unless you leave your tip on the glass jars, Señor Ramon does NOT give the tips you leave with your credit card to their employees. I have corroborated this in multiple occasions. In my opinion, this is fraud and a very dishonest practice. I have notified the Department of Labor, so they can investigate if they wish. Unless their practices change, and they give all the tips to their hard working employees, my rating stays at one star. It's a shame that they have been doing this for years. I can't imagine how many thousands of dollars they have collected over the years on tips that never reach the employees. Shame on you Señor Ramon!

Mary A.

Yelp
A different style of Mexican but tasty. Order at the counter and a buzzer sounds when your food is ready. Downstairs seating is odd since there are no windows. Love that on the Friday night the street was blocked off and lots of people milling about.

Ross W.

Yelp
Went for happy hour but was disappointed that there wasn't a single vegan of vegetarian taco option in the happy hour 2 for $6 deal. Got the Cali and veggie anyway and they were tasty (Cali is better).

Jasmine B.

Yelp
I was pleasantly surprised by this place! I went with friends on a whim and throughly enjoyed my time here. I ordered the Lola which was a carnitas taco. It was good but dry in my opinion. My second taco was the Señor Ramon which is a carne asada taco. This one I really enjoyed! It was so flavorful and the accompanying additions worked so well. It made me want to order more of it! Lastly, I do admit I found the prices to be a little high but still would go back to try some more things.

Yelp
I was just walking downtown leesburg and stopped by for a tripa and lengua taco and they were AMAZING!!!! Best tacos In Leesburg! The atmosphere and staff are also very nice 100% recommended and for sure I will be back!!

Caroline K.

Yelp
Food was so good! We got the loaded chips and salsa, some tacos, and it was all so amazing! The place is really cute inside and had a lot of open seating. It was definitely a pretty cool vibe to stop in and was very laid-back and casual

Windy T.

Yelp
Tacos were fantastic and the salsa options were delicious as well. Great margaritas too. I just wish they made their own chips and it would have been perfect!

Trendy D.

Yelp
Issaa classic goodie!! Love this place. Specifically the one in Leesburg. Food is authentic, empanadas are the best in the DMV. They literally remind me of the empanadas from my Puerto Rico trip. Everything is made fresh each day. All the meats are juicy and bursting with flavor. My go to is the beef empanadas and Barbacoa Tacos I could literally eat this everyday! Facility is clean and they provide hand sanitizer. They have a decent amount of seating but not a ton. They have reallyyy good boozy margs and other alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Tip: Lunch time is always packed so try and avoid the rush go after 1:30 pm. Also, if you want empanadas don't go really late in the day. They run out most times by 4:30/5:00 pm. Happy eating!

S P.

Yelp
Their happy hour prices are pretty good for tacos and drinks. However the quality of the tacos has gone down. When I first tried this place everything was great! But as time has gone on the customer service has went down and with it the quality of the food. The tacos now are smaller, lack flavor and you have to check your food at the counter because they forget to add ingredients. After my most recent visit I've decided it's time to find another taco spot :(

John K.

Yelp
One of the best Taco spots in the DMV. This is authentically made street tacos. They have roughly 10 different specialty taco choices along with more simple options. To choose and customize as well. Each taco is gonna cost about 4-6 bucks so depending on how much you want to eat just think about that accordingly. In conclusion, this is my fav local taco spot and it looks like it will be that way for the foreseeable future

Jennifer D.

Yelp
The food is good, but this review is in terms of customer experience. I've submitted two inquiry requests via their website + emailed + reached out on social channels to request catering information for an upcoming party. After two weeks, I have not received a single response or outreach. I wish they had a specified contact listed for catering because the lack of response has been extremely disappointing.

Vera P.

Yelp
Food never disappoints! Always delicious! Only possible negative is the lack of ambiance and hard metal chairs, but it's still my fav! The tacos are THE best!

Jackie C.

Yelp
A favorite for our family every single time we come here! Seriously I can not find better tacos anywhere!

Kurt H.

Yelp
Our family's go-to taco shop. Fantastic flavors, filling tacos, and delicious appetizers, we've never gotten anything we don't like! I always get the Senor Ramon and my wife loves their classic tacos con pollo. Highly recommend!

Katie A.

Yelp
Slow service. They were not busy at all, but still took a long time to get our order. To be specific, it took 15 minutes to get garlic fries. Then they weren't even garlic fries. They were just regular fries. How hard is it to get an order of one thing correct? Apparently difficult.

Devin C.

Yelp
I went to the Leesburg location, but there are multiple in the area! I was in the mood for an easy snack and my brain jumped right to the idea of tacos! I just got a couple tacos to taste test and the nachos, which I preferred over the tacos honestly. I don't know if I would come for a meal but I definitely think it is a solid place for snack time.

Ronnie T.

Yelp
I am a taco lover, so anywhere that sales tacos can draw me in like a magnet attracting a piece of metal. My friend told me that he wanted to take me to a place that has some amazing tacos. So he took me to this place, upon walking in it didn't feel like I was in VA, It felt like I was somewhere tropical or Mexico itself. From the decor, the aroma, and the music. I ended up ordering the TS 478 crispy shrimp tacos!!! Which were oozing with so much flavor and also the marinated chicken tacos that were to live for as well! I ate 4 tacos and I could have had so many more.. The tacos are hand crafted, and what I love is that you can taste the medley of the variety of toppings that are on the tacos! The staff here is very friendly, the food is great, and there are so many good options to order on the menu. I will definitely be back here to try more options and tacos, it is well worth the trip!

Yelp
Senor Ramon's has been on such a rise in the past 10+ years going from food truck to brewery to brick and mortar. The Leesburg location is new and fresh and a great space with plenty of seating. You can't go wrong with any of the specialty tacos - they've put a lot of thought into the flavor combinations and the toppings are always fresh. I haven't had many of the other tacos because the specialty ones are perfect. I've had the nachos and corn nuggets but they don't do it for me. The nachos are too messy and the nuggets are oily. I do enjoy the limited edition tacos from time to time so the menu tends to change. I wish they'd keep the sunrise one from a year ago!

Aubrey W.

Yelp
I've been to Señor Ramon many times, and it never fails to disappoint. The tacos are delicious and incredibly fresh. This time, I got the Lola and the TS 478. The Lola has super juicy pork carnitas, definitely a staple of theirs. The TS 478 was light with delicious crispy shrimp. It also has pickled red onions, which is one of my favorite toppings. Both of these options are great for those who like flavor but not too much spice. I would definitely recommend getting their specialty tacos: the flavor profiles are perfect. As for sides, the street corn cannot be beat. Three tacos are perfect for a delicious filling meal. The restaurant itself had counter service, and the kitchen was super fast! One of my favorite spots in downtown Leesburg.

Rickey G.

Yelp
Very unauthentic food. Super pricy for what you get. It's not the greatest spot to visit If your looking for actual authentic tacos, but if you want a simulation of tacos then that's a great spot for you!

Brittney F.

Yelp
Such a fun and inviting atmosphere. The food is delicious, I haven't tried anything yet that I haven't liked. The margaritas are delicious, and they do a nice job celebrating holidays and events in their spacious bar area. Definitely a favorite for tacos and tequila!

Ramon F.

Yelp
First time here. Great resting point if you are doing the brewery tour. Nice spot to have Mexican food. Came in when there was somewhat of a line and the staff did a great job of taking and completing orders. Wish they would have gave us our food as it was done instead of seeing people behind us in line get their food before us. No complaints on the food. There is additional seating downstairs, which was nice.

Shannon W.

Yelp
I've been to this place a couple times. I'm a big fan of simple tacos with just meat, Cilantro, and lime. This place has that plus more. The al pastor is always very tender and flavorful. The Carne asada is cooked perfectly, not dry. My friend introduced me to the corn nuggets and now they are a must when I go. They taste like sweet cream corn in the inside and the Cilantro sauce they put on top pairs really well. They offer a variety of salsas and drinks. It also looks like they have a happy hour. I also never realized they have a downstairs with more seating for busy nights. They also have another location in Sterling which is just as good. I recommend this business.

Diane M.

Yelp
We ordered the Mexican pizza which was delicious. We also ordered churros and they were the best I've ever had.

David G.

Yelp
Wow! Quite possibly the best tacos I've had in years.... I had the lamb die ISS and the Jose Jose chicken. Both were awesome!

Alison R.

Yelp
Great margaritas-order by the pitcher! Not "traditional" but very tasty and cheap. Tacos are really good. Nachos are bizarrely served cold with cold shredded cheese and cold meat. Food seems to have gone a bit downhill recently-Not sure what changed. Still a good inexpensive fun place to eat but not my favorite as it once was.

Bobby S.

Yelp
It's little hidden from the Main Street of old town Leesburg... but worth the turn to walk a few blocks... The decor and everything reminds me of an Aztec cafe and they JUST happen to serve delicious tacos.... if you are into Aztec cafes... and we all are... But the tacos are freshly prepared and with care. They have a simple children's menu (chicken quesadilla for $5)... it was delicious and quick and worth the trip. Let's be real... it's no SoCal hole in the wall taco joint... but out here in VA... it'll do just fine!

Moll S.

Yelp
I ordered the nachos.. the picture online showed a pile of melty nachos on a baking tray... I was handed a pile of cold chips with shredded cheese and toppings on top. And I mean COLD like out of the fridge. The sauces tasted good but it was overall unpleasant. I asked the worker about it and she was so nice and gave me a refund but I still feel like it was really bizarre. Nachos are generally with melted cheese.

JC R.

Yelp
This place reminded me of a similar taco place in Nashville, TN, though the one in Nashville for sure had better taste and concept. Tacos are fresh, salad bowls are fresh with that sweet cheese but place has potential for being greater than good. Happy that this place is another addition to Leesburg's upcoming and growing mixed of alternatives to the norm. It's also next door to the Bike Trale brew and across to a nice bar with live musician playing. Place is small but smartly arranged tables and seatings accommodate more, surprisingly! Inexpensive tacos at $3 each, salad bowl with a meat is $8, other ala carte items are reasonably priced $3 to $8, definitely appeal to more masses of all walks! A great addition and a goto for quick and inexpensive bites!

Ally C.

Yelp
Always on the hunt for good tacos, and these were definitely tasty. They have traditional style as well as 'designer' tacos if you're in to that. The pastor is usually my go to, but here they mince the meat, and I prefer it shaved right off the spit. Still it was good. Would definitely come back next time we are in the area.

Salma C.

Yelp
Very Americanized. I feel places shouldn't call themselves taquerías unless they're serving legit and authentic tacos and Mexican food. The interior is attractive and different, but their food was mediocre. Their corn fritters were okay and their tacos were subpar. Don't come here unless you want bland, unauthentic "Mexican" food.

Lauren M.

Yelp
I'm so disappointed I've visited Leesburg countless times and never ventured into Señor Ramon's before now. My husband and I were craving tacos after a morning antique shopping and were SO happy with our meal here. We had a few other stops to make it to in the afternoon and were hoping to get in and out quickly. Before walking in we didn't know it was counter service but that was a very happy surprise! We took the recommendation of our cashier and ordered the Senor Ramon taco, the TS 478 (Shrimp) taco, and the Birria (lamb) taco. We also had to try their Mexican street corn. Our food arrived quickly. Not a single item disappointed. My favorite was probably the TS 478 taco and the Birria taco was filling enough to eat on its own. I'm happy I saved room for the street corn because it was a highlight. So yummy and worth the messy face - grab extra napkins! We will certainly be back again on our next trip to town.

Tati P.

Yelp
I have been in the previous location in downtown and the service was awful. As a family on the weekend we decided to give them a second chance and unfortunately got super disappointed again. To make it short-- FIX YOUR SERVICE--- After waiting 30-40 minutes for a simple order of few tacos in the empty restaurant I went to find out what was going on, they forgot about our order... the owner offered a refund.....We were so hungry and decided to wait. Food came shortly. Number one - one taco it is a really small meal, if I knew we would ordered more, but did not take a risk of waiting another 40 minutes. Left hungry and disappointed. This restaurant has a good potential, all they need a good management who can stay on top of the service. Update 25 September, 19 Great to see a manager on the floor who translates orders for the kitchen staff. The food is good and finally order came exactly how we ordered.

Anne G.

Yelp
I don't really get the hype. I was really excited about trying Senor Ramon. I'm grateful to have any non-chain options in Leesburg (even though Senor Ramon is now a chain-maybe that is the issue), but it just wasn't great. I was looking forward to something similar to Taco Bamba in Vienna, but this wasn't even close. There was no seasoning on the meat. The only taste that came from anything were the two sauces that were included in my order. I had to 'gob up' my order with spice and other condiments at home to make the tacos I ordered decent to eat. I hope to try these guys again, but it will take much better cooking and seasoning for me to go back.

Hattie U.

Yelp
We ate here late minute because it was raining and we didn't want to walk to restaurant where we intended to eat. Two of us shared the Milanese Torta (steak sandwich), Mexican street corn, and a Lola Taco (pork, corn, etc. ). Everything was great. Portions are large and very tasty. The pork on the taco was plentiful, moist and tasty. Also had a mango sangria which hit the spot. Cute, casual vibe if a little noisy. Will definitely return next time we are in Leesburg.

Alex F.

Yelp
Very disappointing. Came in for a quick bite on a Friday afternoon. Only wanted to get garlic fries. It took more than 15 minutes when they came out they weren't garlic fries. They were just plain french fries. The fries themselves were not that great either. They were just institutional brand french fries. I know times are tough for Restaurants right now, so I'm giving a three star, rather than anything lower. Hope this was just an off day!

Mari K.

Yelp
My husband and I LOVE taco's and came across this place when visiting Leesburg. We ordered their traditional tacos, specialty tacos, and their corn. The taco's tasted authentic with packed meat and other toppings. It was also my first time eating Mexican corn and I fell in love with it! So cheesy, messy, and delicious. I wouldn't come here in the summer because there were flies inside and it just felt super hot indoors since everything was open. But that still didn't stop us from enjoying our food :)

Anna L.

Yelp
I'll keep this short. I'm simply in love with these tacos. Their original location inside a house on Loudoun St is small with limited seating, but they are moving to a larger location inside what used to be an antique mall on King St. We managed to beat the crowd the day we visited, but after we sat to enjoy our tacos, the line to order was out the door. After biting into one of these tacos, I can see why. They offer $3 tacos, $4 tacos, tortas, nachos, green bowls and a number of sides. Based on other reviews, next time I am trying the corn nuggets! This visit I had the Gabo - skirt steak, caramelized onions, grilled guacamole, jalapenos and cotija cheese all served in a flour tortilla. I usually don't have a huge appetite, but I could have just kept eating these. They packed some delicious flavor into this taco. I honestly can't wait to come back and systematically try everything on the menu!

Victor H.

Yelp
One fine taco joint. This is something Leesburg needs and I'm glad they have it available. It's located in the old town area in a small house that makes tacos, empanadas, tortas, and tostadas. Throw in some sangria or a local draft brew and you're in good hands. All the tacos I've had so far (senor ramon, ts478, morris, and el macho) tasted great. A bit smaller than I expected but packed a ton of flavors that compliment all the ingredients. Also had a spinach empanada; amazing for just $2.25 per empanada. Throw on their custom self-served salsas for even more flavor although it's not necessary. Next time I'll get some of that sangria I see and perhaps try the corn nuggets or Mexican corn. I'd recommend they should add a special fish taco to the menu of their signature special tacos. I'd be all over that if they did. But I won't mind indulging in their other items of goodness along the way!

Donna N.

Yelp
This was a great spot for quick food! We decided to come here based on the great reviews while in town. This must be a new establishment as I've never heard of this restaurant before in the past year. The tacos were amazing! We got the chorizo and carne asada tacos, carnitas sliders, and garlic fries. They didn't have ketchup for the fries, which was a little odd to me. The salsas were authentic and fresh. Overall, it was a positive experience.

Tracey L.

Yelp
Was excited to try this place because the 4 stars on Yelp. It was quite disappointing. No wonder plenty seats on a Saturday night. My friend didn't like the margarita. Seems it sat out all day and lime was bitter. Tacos were small as my palm for $3-4. Not flavorful on the tacos we had. But the spicy sauce was good. Staff was nice though

Mike B.

Yelp
Great new Taco place at the edge of Downtown Leesburg. I went in on a Sunday and tried a few of the tacos. They have plain chicken, steak etc. tacos with the basics on them, or you can get the specialty tacos. I tried the Senor Ramon and the Patagonia ($4 each), both were great. The staff was friendly and told me they should have some outdoor seating shortly and will have some local beer to go along with the tacos. The only thing I would recommend is perhaps they label the tacos, when you go with a few people it is a bit hard to tell which one is which when they come out.

Lennore R.

Yelp
So the taco queen strikes again at a place in Northern VA, and oh my goodness, these are some of the best corn tortillas that I have ever consumed. I was visiting my friend at work, and she suggested we grab some tacos down the street since we were super tired from the 3.5 hr. journey from Virginia Beach. It's a casual fast dining joint where you wait in line, order, and pick up your order (dine-in or carry-out) at the pick-up window where they call your number found on your receipt. I thought the service was good and everyone had a smile & whipped up orders fairly quickly. They have a fountain drink dispenser if you didn't want alcohol or a bottled beverage. They also supply water cups (heck yes) to fill at the drink dispenser. Tacos are ordered by the each. I tried a lengua (beef tongue) tradicional taco ($3) and a Patagonia nuestro taco ($4). The traditional taco was great with the yummy meat, onion, cilantro, & lime. The Patagonia was the star of my 2 choices filled with tender carne asada, salsa, shredded cheese, guacamole, & chimichurri sauce. They even have sauces available to put on your tacos at the "bar" (just a ledge connected to the wall) with to-go containers. I drowned my tacos with their "hot" salsa, but it definitely does not have the kick it has the potential to have. I found the place to be clean with salt, pepper, and a roll of paper towels spread out along the bar and tables for people dining in. Our food came out fairly quickly despite the long order line that kept building. I enjoyed my food greatly, and I understand why this place is a hit.

Haley K.

Yelp
This is one of my favorite taco spots in the NoVa area. The food is always fresh and delicious, but the best part is they get it out to you QUICKLY! You can watch them prepare your order and the menu has something for everyone. My favorite is the Al Pastor taco, and you can even get different styles such as Tortas and Empanadas. The one thing I will order here no matter what main dish I get is the corn nuggets. They are deep fried balls of corn with this delish sweetness and amazing texture. The dipping sauce is to die for. I have never experienced rude or lazy staff and everyone works together here to get you incredible tacos and without a wait. The parking for this location is a little tight and you may need to park in the Leesburg parking garage (which is literally one block away and a 2 min walk) so it is not too bad to get there. I highly recommend trying either this location or the Sterling location!

Daniela F.

Yelp
I love this place. I went when it was at the other address... Anyway. The food is always excellent. I didn't know they close at 8pm so I got there around 7:30pm and got my food, by the time I finished eating it was passed 8 (and I did feel bad about it and I'm very sorry, staff) but they were so nice to me. In no way they kicked me out or made me feel rushed. Now I know they wanted to go home or clean everything and I know closing time is closing time. But I do wanna say I appreciate everyone's gentleness with me. Next time I'll come early! Thank you guys. Great food. Great staff. Great service.
