Perched atop the AthensWas Hotel, SENSE Restaurant offers diners a panoramic terrace with truly spectacular views of the Acropolis at sunset. The ambiance is complemented by attentive service, ensuring a comfortable dining experience.
However, during my visit, the culinary offerings did not consistently meet the high expectations set by the establishment’s ambiance and accolades. While the beetroot with cheese and prawn dish stood out for its delightful flavors, the remainder of the tasting menu was disappointing. Several dishes were notably over-salted, and overall, the menu lacked the innovative flair one might anticipate from a restaurant mentioned by the Michelin Guide.
In summary, SENSE Restaurant excels in providing a stunning setting and commendable service. Yet, for those seeking a memorable gastronomic journey, the experience may fall short of expectations.
