Sense Rooftop Restaurant

I would give this place fifty stars if I could! After a long travel day involving lost luggage and crazy delays, this perfect prefix menu experience was the respite I needed. Superb wait staff - Yannis is THE BEST - made me feel right at home. Excellent savory and sweet dishes and an unmatched view of the Parthenon at night.

Fantastic meal where we went to celebrate whilst on honeymoon. Very accommodating to a last minute booking via Google. Service was excellent, great wine list (that they let us try a few before we orders) and lovely to have genuine Greek inspired food in a Michelin-star styled tasting menu. Would strongly recommend, even before taking into account the amazing views of the Acropolis.

It was more than a meal; it was the show of artists, with the entire team working seamlessly and with such passion. The flavors, the presentation, and the storytelling behind the menu were outstanding. On top of it all, the breathtaking views of the Acropolis made the evening magical. From start to finish, it was a perfect balance of creativity, tradition, and hospitality. Truly a world-class dining experience – highly recommended!

Went to this Michelin restaurant recently and had a good experience. The atmosphere was amazing super stylish but still comfortable, and the vibe was just right. Service was also spot-on. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and really made us feel taken care of. The 9-course tasting menu was a bit of a letdown overall. Most of the dishes were just okay, but nothing memorable. That said, two of them were genuinely excellent and stood out from the rest. It just made us wish the whole menu had that same level of creativity and flavor. At the end of the day, it was a pleasant night out and worth checking out.

Perched atop the AthensWas Hotel, SENSE Restaurant offers diners a panoramic terrace with truly spectacular views of the Acropolis at sunset.  The ambiance is complemented by attentive service, ensuring a comfortable dining experience. However, during my visit, the culinary offerings did not consistently meet the high expectations set by the establishment’s ambiance and accolades. While the beetroot with cheese and prawn dish stood out for its delightful flavors, the remainder of the tasting menu was disappointing. Several dishes were notably over-salted, and overall, the menu lacked the innovative flair one might anticipate from a restaurant mentioned by the Michelin Guide. In summary, SENSE Restaurant excels in providing a stunning setting and commendable service. Yet, for those seeking a memorable gastronomic journey, the experience may fall short of expectations.

Genuinely one of the best culinary experiences I have had. Incredible and flexible service. My initial table was not one with a view of the Acropolis so they offered to move me over as soon as one cleared, it was very thoughtful of them. All the food was delicious, but the sole and scallop dishes are worth a shout out.

We just had an incredible dining experience at SENSE. The first wow comes from the incredible and intimate views that greet you when you arrive at the restaurant. The second wow is the fantastic waiting staff who can recommend excellent wine selections from the menu and are constantly making sure you're having a pleasant dining experience. The third and most important wow was the tasting menu, which was both sufficiently copious but more importantly offered fantastic culinary experiences with each dish. Some of these will stay with us as being the most surprising and complex dishes we've come across. Definitely a Michelin star worthy experience.
