Yelp
My favorite go-to kbbq spot! I recommend this place to all my friends and so far, this place hasn't missed :-) My fiancé's family and I are pretty particular about our kbbq but sometimes we'd rather just do it at home but if there's a spot that never fails us, it's here. Seorai is located in a pretty busy plaza amongst other Korean businesses. They don't take reservations so I'd say to come ready to wait. We usually get the pork set, and it's the perfect amount for 2 or 3 people. Pricing is pretty far for the quality that they serve. Service is always friendly, efficient and proactive. Big fan. If you're in the area, this is the spot.

Yelp
Make sure to sign in once you get there. They constantly ask you too. We waited about 10-15mins for a table. They were not to thrilled that our kids (Son 6 & daughter 3) were dining with us. We have been to several Korean bbq's & this is by far the most unbelievable experience we had. Not to mention they asked us specifically for kids to not be in front of the grill before we were seated. So my son sat at the end of the table and my daughter was sitting right next to me, not in front just to the side. Our server told me specifically that her manager wanted my daughter to sit at the end of the table. I was like seriously I'm sitting right next to her. Well we moved her but of course it caused a scene. Then she said for some reason the grill/ hot plate was not working properly and so they cooked our food at a different table.... Then we asked for water from the manager and he just said to wait and he will bring it over. No time or day to ask how everything is so far. The elderly woman who cooked our protein was very nice and so sweet. So thank you to her and why I'm leaving the 2 stars instead of 1 To start off it wasn't busy to give off that vibe. If you're interested in coming in for late Korean bbq with friends and eat out late this is the spot. I don't recommend for family dinner with little ones, definitely will give you the cold shoulder. Overall the food and sides were good thanks to the sweet elderly women. Thank you!

Yelp
Great higher end Korean bbq where the server cooks all the meat for you. Banchan were high quality. The fish cakes were a bit too sweet for me and oversauced but still tasty. Side dishes like steamed egg, kimchi fried rice, corn cheese, and the short rib stew were all pretty solid but nothing spectacular. Overall the meat quality is pretty good. Brisket and beef belly were on par with every decent KBBQ place I've been to here in the bay. Pork belly and pork jowl were a step up from higher quality AYCE places to be certain. The best is the long rib, which comes out a huge whole rib half cooked already before they finish it on the table grill. Our server cooked it well to render all the intramuscular fat beautifully. The staff cook all the meats on one grill and then divide it up and deliver platters of meat to all sides of the table, which I find a very organized way of serving a large group. Best thing is the service! We came at the end of a dinner shift on a Saturday and they did very well to ensure all the cooking and serving went smoothly, which can be a challenge at a KBBQ restaurant. They also helped make a birthday very special at our table. Hats off to their staff!

Yelp
We intended to go to Chungdam but we didn't make it in time for their final seating so they recommended their sister restaurant which we wanted to give it a try. For the price point, I expected better. This was definitely intended to be a trendier ambiance. Best thing out of what we ordered was the marinated galbi. We ordered more but felt our server overcooked our meat and didn't ask us how we wanted it cooked first off. Side dishes were okay but have had better. Was disappointed in the spicy rice cakes. The sauce wasn't coating much of everything and very watery. It was $26 and we thought they brought us a different dish by mistake. Just felt a bit mislead because the menu only said 'spicy rice cakes' not anything that was included with it so expectations were not met. We didn't specify food restrictions for the table which included pork and typically never need to but should have on our end. There were things that came out that had pork in them that we didn't know did so be mindful of you have dietary restrictions/ preferences. Service: we waited 15 min just looking around for our waiter to come and bring the check. We saw him at his kiosk on his phone. Unfortunately, didn't have the best experience and felt that for being the sister restaurant for Chungdam, the value was way lower than anticipated.

Yelp
Came by for lunch the other day and it was a decent, albeit a touch sweaty experience. Seorai is Chungdam's sister restaurant and features lunch specials in addition to BBQ tables. A/C was good upon arrival and the restaurant became hot and sweaty midway during our meal... Dining is available indoors exclusively and some staff opted to wear a mask and gloves. The interior of the restaurant is modern and clean. Started off with the banchan assortment which was phenomenal. There were fried fish, fish cakes, kimchee, pickled cuccumbers etc. Opted for the marinated long rib and it was decent. Staff presented the marinated and charred short rib on the BBQ grill and cooked it in front of us. Flavoring was decent and the marbling on the meat was good. The seafood pancake was also decent. Plenty of seafood and not too oily. The seafood tofu soup was also decent. ~$43/head after tax and gratuity for lunch.

Yelp
Friday evening BBQ with friends! The space was modern and looked relatively clean. We ordered the pork belly, beef brisket and the marinated galbi. We were told we'd only get 1 hr and 45 mins at our table and the service was quick. Our server first greased the grill with butter and then proceeded on grilling the meats for us. Personally my favourite was the galbi - it was tender and flavourful, especially when paired with the salt they had served for each guest. I thought both the pork belly and beef brisket were too fatty for my liking... We also ordered the seafood pancakes (which I liked!) and some garlic fries for the table (they were just potto wedges). Overall we felt the food portion size was decent and had enough variety (soup, noodles, BBQ meats, appetizers, etc). After about 2 hours sitting at the restaurant, it's definitely time to do a deep cleansing of all my clothes!

Yelp
It was one of my cousin's son's birthday and was also a weekend where a bunch of people were having graduation dinner outings. The parking was so packed that we saw a Cybertruck looping around when we first pulled up. After 20 minutes of looking for a spot to park, we decided to park within the neighborhood around the block and while walking to the restaurant, we still saw that same Cybertruck looping around the lot. My cousin got the first large table and was already ordering. We were greeted and seated ourselves, our server got started with ordering what we want, we went with the beef combo, which was $135. My wife order a Passion Fruit Margarita but, the server advised that it was out of order so, she went with the Blood Orange margarita. All the food started coming by, our server started cooking for us and this was our first time here so we didn't realize that we didn't need to cook since we've been to many KBBQ restaurants that required us to self cook. More of our cousins came by and sat at the table we sat at. They ordered only drinks and when the drinks came, they thought I was the one who ordered so it was placed next to me. Towards the end, we enjoyed all the beef options we ate and cooked to a good quality. My wife hadn't got her Blood Orange margarita so we asked our server, he advised that they ran out of that option too but, he could've just had told us if he knew it already rather than waiting for my wife to ask towards the end of our meal. My wife still wanted a drink so I asked what was available from the fruit options and he said strawberry. Without my wife's confirmation , I told our server to just bring that for her. Her Strawberry margarita immediately came, she wasn't in the mood to drink most of it so I ended up drinking it. We also noticed once 9:00 PM all the lights dimmed and the music gets louder. It was happy hour but our party wasn't interested to stay any longer so we left. If it wasn't for the lack of timing on our drinks, we still all enjoyed the options we chose. My cousins chose a great place to eat dinner but, the timing was during a busy month.

Yelp
Came by with a party of 9 around 7:15 PM. Love the spacing of the grills and tables so that the servers can navigate through and guests can access the restroom. Our table ordered a variety of items including brisket, pork, some cut of steak, pancake, two different kinds of noodles, steamed egg, tofu soup, and a bottle of soju. Service was amazing as they cooked for both sides of the table and were able to portion out the proteins. Our party was able to pass around many of the side dishes along with the other entrees we ordered. Would love to come back and try some other items!

Yelp
Down the street from 10butchers, not as high end as that place but also a bit cheaper as well. A waiter will be with you at all times to cook for you. A little bit Smokey but the food was great. A tight but cozy place, bright and full of life. We got the beef combo with steamed egg and seafood pancake. Also came with various side dishes that complement the meat really well. Off to the food review! 4/5 - Beef combo - the brisket and chuck flap was off the charts good however the last meat which was marinated was not up the standard. Sadly I expected a more grilled or tenderness from it, but with how much marination it came it, the waiter was just cooking it in the marinated which became more of a stewed meat. Just chewy and not much flavor 5/5 -Steamed egg - My first thought was there is KO way any steamed egg is worth this price. I was pleasantly surprised with the soufflé size egg bowl with roe on top. Soft, and fluffy goodness that is worth every penny 3.8/5 - Seafood pancake - This was nicely fried and crispy with some seafood and onions in it. I've had better ones else where but this still hits the spot if you are craving one

Jayne M.

Yelp
Pretty nice atmosphere for kbbq but I was overall disappointed with the meat quality. It wasn't due to overcooking since the staff cooked for us. And on that note, our server did not fully cook some of the pieces :( Appetizers were disappointing as well. We got the corn cheese and the chicken wings. The side dishes were A++ though!

Yelp
Wanted to do KBBQ AYCE before my surgery and though, we couldn't find an AYCE place, we found Seorai. They do have BBQ options but those are not the AYCE. We tried their lunch special combos; LA Galbi and Pork Cutlet with tofu soups. Came out beautifully! What a feast! The soups were delicious! The LA Galbi was yummy as usual but nothing really outstanding. Pork Cutlet with the curry sauce tasted good, sis said. I don't eat pork so i don't know what to exactly say but it looked good! We ordered spicy buckwheat noodles on the side for sharing and honestly, it was blah! I would say that they should pay more attention to the dressing! Their side dishes are bomb! They tasted fresh and deli! Also, it's unlimited! What a steal! Hehe. (it is unlimited but remember to be friendly to the business, my friends!) Service was kind and welcoming! Definitely, on the pricy side but worth trying! You wouldn't regret! Ambiance is spacious and clean! I will come back if i happen to be in Santa Clara once again!

Yelp
Make a reservation ahead of time. You will thank me later! Too much gaming by joining the wait list ahead of time. They are never accurate and you could miss your time if your table is ready ahead of the estimated time. They grill the meat for you. They also change the metal grill pan for different type of meat! Beef combo: 4.5/5. It is not enough for 3 adults. I would recommend to order something else on the side. The beef was very tender. The stew had quite a lot of beef in it too! Seafood pancake: 3/5. A lot of seafood, but the pancakes were not crispy enough. Overall, it is a great place for Korean BBQ. We were limited to 1.5 hours.

Yelp
5/5 for food, service, and experience! Party of 5 and we ordered: Beef combo Army base stew Cold buckwheat noodles Soondubu tofu soup Seafood pancake With tax and tip this came to $60 per person Yes, it's expensive but there was a waitress who was there throughout our meal to make sure the meat was cooked well, all of the noodle/soups were served individually which made for a very comfortable experience. All of the meat options were delicious. Be sure to try the raw onion with grilled meat and spicy sauce together, it's amazing!

Yelp
Sooo good! I've been wanting to come here for awhile. I went to another Korean bbq restaurant that cooked for us and the meat wasn't the best. It was a hype for sure, but let me focus on Seorai. The meat was delicious. We chose to pick our meats because the combo options seemed too much. I am glad we got chose two meats because it was just enough and we took some home. It was fulfilling and tasty. It is a little higher in price but worth every penny. Also, we got soju and it was in a pineapple. There was a lot and it seemed never ending. We kept scooping. No complaints at all. The drink was perfect, not too sweet. The way I like it. The servers cook your meat to the side and does it really quickly. I enjoy that they do that so I can enjoy my partner. I enjoy our date nights when we can do it. It wasn't too loud either so we could hear ourselves. Lastly, there is a bell you can press to get the servers' attention.

Lyvin R.

Yelp
The customer service is AMAZING. They are so so attentive and they are super friendly. FYI the servers cook the meat for you on the stove. The meat quality is so good, super tender, and huge portions. Heads up it is not AYCE, and I do wish the servers would let us cook the meats on the stove a bit longer, and it did feel like they were sort of rushing us. So some meats like the pork belly felt more chewier to my taste. But overall a great place!

Yelp
I have been to Seorai twice: once as a party of 2 and once as a party of 9. You can make a reservation ahead of time or join the Yelp waitlist for smaller parties. When I went with my party of 9, we walked in right at 5 PM when they opened and got a table easily. I have had the beef combo and the pork combo and would recommend either if you don't want to choose which meats you want. The galbi was my favorite from the beef combo and pork jowl from the pork combo. You also get a choice of soybean soup or kimchi stew with the convo; I prefer the kimchi stew. On top of the combos, I have also tried: - Corn Cheese (3.5/5): A bit on the sweeter side. Not bad but portion felt small since it's a thin layer of corn. - Kimchi Pancake (4/5): Pretty good and crispy on the outside. A bit soft on the inside but that's to be expected since kimchi is a bit watery. Good portion to split with a big party. - K-Army Stew (4/5): I'd say it's pretty hard to mess this one up. You do get a good serving size with ramen, spam, and sausage but was not worth the price. I have also gotten the Forbidden Fruit cocktail the first time I went, which was a strawberry yakult soju cocktail. It was really good and fruity but I don't think they sell it here anymore because I didn't see it on the menu. Banchan here is good. They have japchae and rice paper as side dishes, which were nice alternatives for rice (which you have to pay extra for). Also, I prefer rice paper over rice for KBBQ, so an extra win in the books for me! Dipping sauces are pretty basic: a bean sauce and sesame and salt sauce. Service is decent here. They cook the meat for you. The first time I came as a party of 2, the server disappeared while looking the galbi and it almost was over cooked (we started cooking it ourselves). The second time felt more attentive but honestly wasn't paying too much attention since it was a bigger group of people. Overall, the food was good, but just a bit pricey and expensive.

Yelp
I came here on a date night and had a great experience! The restaurant is tucked into a large plaza within Santa Clara's K-Town. Seorai is a lively restaurant with a lot of open seating and many large parties. The servers were extremely friendly, attentive, and helpful. As soon as I sat down, our server swiftly brought out the banchan. Usually banchan are very small plates. However, I enjoyed the portion sizes that this restaurant gives out. They definitely do not skimp! Not to mention, they will continuously refill any that are running low throughout the meal. As an appetizer, we ordered the seafood pancake and the corn cheese. The seafood pancake was large and crispy on the outside. The inside was hot, slightly chewy from the rice flour and filled generously with scallions and an assortment of oysters, clams, shrimp, and squid. It was delicious on a cold night! The corn cheese came out piping hot on a small cast iron platter. It went well with the banchan and meats. For the grill, we ordered the Beef Combo. The beef combo consisted of beef brisket, beef flap, and marinated galbi. Our server was very thoughtful when it came to grilling the meats. She kindly told us to sit farther in before starting the grill to make sure we wouldn't be hit by any fumes or flames. She made sure to place the meats on the outer edges and always told us when the meats were done or if they needed a few more minutes. She also made friendly conversation with my boyfriend and I while she was cooking. All of these small details just made the dinner more special. All the meats had great flavor. The only one I didn't care for as much was the beef flap-- it was on the tough side. I left the restaurant feeling very full and happy with my experience. Next time I will come back with a larger group and enjoy more of their dishes!

Yelp
Super yummy!! Quick service. Good venting system. Clean. Free parking lot available. We ordered the beef combo, spicy rice cakes, and sizzling corn cheese. You can definitely taste the quality of the meat and they are well portioned. They cook and distribute the meat for you. The grill was changed between every item. The marinated galbi pieces were my favorite. Everything was good/amazing. Would come back and recommend to others!

Amy V.

Yelp
Quality meat and great selection of add-ons and banchan! I enjoyed the portions and servers grilling the meat for you. It gives you a chance to conversate :) however, the ambiance is loud, so it gets hard hearing sometimes. I guess that could also mean it's lively, too! I did enjoy the privacy of the booths (for reservations only (?)) but also the interior - it's very modern. My only ??? was the bulgogi - it wasn't the super tender marinated super thinly sliced meat I'm used to at other establishments, but the thickness and tenderness of it made up for the "new." We ordered the Beef Combo and added on the Pork Jowl, which was delicious and we (2 people) were full! The server warned us it was a lot of food, and he was right, but that's okay! We definitely had enough to take home for dinner the next day. Definitely will be coming back, it's a nice al a carte experience.

Yelp
Seorai Korean BBQ is a hidden gem in the world of BBQ dining! I recently had the pleasure of dining here, and it left me with nothing but praise. First and foremost, the prices at Seorai are incredibly reasonable, especially considering the generous portions they serve. You definitely get a bang for your buck here, and I left the restaurant feeling super full and satisfied. If you're looking for a hearty meal that won't break the bank, this is the place to be. The service at Seorai is truly exceptional. The staff is attentive and friendly, going the extra mile to make your dining experience enjoyable. One thing that impressed me the most was how they kept refilling our sides and sauces without us having to ask. It's those little touches that make a big difference. I visited Seorai on a Friday evening, and to my pleasant surprise, there was no wait for a table. It's a great spot to enjoy a delicious Korean BBQ meal without the hassle of long lines or crowded waiting areas. Parking is another aspect where Seorai shines. Finding parking was a breeze, with ample space available. This makes the entire dining experience hassle-free from start to finish. In summary, Seorai Korean BBQ is a fantastic dining destination for those looking for delicious food at reasonable prices. The portions are generous, the service is top-notch, and you won't have to worry about parking or long wait times. I'll definitely be returning to Seorai for more mouthwatering BBQ in the future!

Yelp
My family came on a Thursday night, and the restaurant was crowded. Thankfully, we made reservations and were seated immediately. We ordered the Beef Combo $135 - beef brisket, chuck flap, marinated galbi pieces, soybean paste soup. The chuck flap was a bit tougher. Hands down favorite was the galbi pieces because they were tender, juicy, and marinated. LOL. My mom really liked the soybean paste soup. Boneless Short Ribs: They had good marbling and a nice beefy taste. Seafood Pancake. Always delicious and filled with a lot of ingredients. Boneless Fried Chicken (plain). The pieces were lightly marinated thighs and deep fried. They were tasty. The banchan were tasty and delicious. They refill them whenever you need. Service was great as usual. We had to ask them to slow down on the grilling, as there was a lot of food on the table, and we wanted to make sure the meat didn't get cold. They were accommodating and polite and did not mind.

Melissa V.

Yelp
My birthday dinner was planned here and they crammed such a large party in a small space. we barely had room to eat... also the meat seemed so chewy! Even if we cooked it at the right timing for everything. The servers seemed attentive at first and then disappeared after a while and we kept needing them. I had a good time with friends and family but we probably would choose a different restaurant for a large party next time. Large parties are a challenge, so thank you to this place for having us!! we just wish there was an option for higher quality meat.

Maya K.

Yelp
Good food!! Have tried their kbbq, cold noodles and fried chicken. Highly recommend getting bbq (pork shoulder and galbi are amazing) and cold noodle with soup. Just tip-- it gets really cold inside, so wear a jacket. esp if you're not grilling!

Jacqueline N.

Yelp
Delicious korean bbq place! This place is a little pricey for a la carte bbq but the quality is great. My favorite cut was the marinated galbi. The grill gave the meat a nice smokey flavor and the way the meat was prepared made it extra tender. Really enjoyed the banchan as well and the kimchi was nice and crunchy. The seafood pancake also had a lot of seafood unlike other places that skimp out. Food: 5/5 Price: 4/5 Service: 5/5

Lisa H.

Yelp
Favorite Korean bbq in the Bay Area. So glad I found Seorai. I've been twice now and both times were perfect. Their marinaded galbi in bone is so tender and marinaded just right. Their pork belly is thick and the slight char makes every bite more delicious. Their meats are fresh and they cook for you, so you can just enjoy the food and plentiful banchans. Service is fast. Ventilation is good. Their kimchi pancake is so good! They even have a good mix of sakes, sojus and soju cocktails. Anyway, this is now my go to even if I have to drive 40 minutes.

Ken C.

Yelp
Solid bbq experience Solid meat. Great selection of banchan. Excellent service. They grill everything for you. Ventilation is decent. Just so you know, they close at 2:15pm sharp for lunch service so everyone has to leave then.

Francis T.

Yelp
Issa higher end korean bbq spot. The food was spot on and I would say it's worth it to go for more special occasions. The service here is amazing. The servers are fast and super friendly. They cook the food for you which is a nice plus as well. The MEAT was solid. Even the brisket was pretty good and not dry. Nice marbling on the galbi and the bulgogi had a nice and not to over powering of a sauce. They only give 2 dipping sauce, salt w sesame oil and a bean paste. THE SIDES WERE AMAZING. I love the kimchi it might sour for some people but the texture was right on. The glass noodles and radish paper were my favorite. (Note they give rice, rice paper, fish cake, and a lot more and they will refill them if you ate most of it) Strawberry Margarita was super strong too. Just remember to mix it. The soup was overall solid and a nice change of paste from the meat. NOTE: it was kinda cold inside

Vivian F.

Yelp
Great value for food! I would say the portion "2-3 people" can actually comfortably feed a group of 4 due to portion and appetizers! There's a chef that helps each table out with cooking with is great! The combo comes with soup too (kimchi or soybean) Will be back :-)

Nat P.

Yelp
Another hot spot for kbbq in the Bay Area! Been wanting to try this place and glad I did. Love their meat selection here. There are different combos you can select and I got the beef combo (beef brisket, chuck flap, marinated galbi pieces), and added on boneless short ribs. Everything was delicious! I love how they prepare some of the meat differently to maximize each flavor. You can get some meat that's marinated in that flavorful sauce or you can get the nice smoky flavor. All of it was very good! Also got their K-Army stew which I was so full from eating after meat, but it definitely reminded me of Korea! It's definitely a must get. Service was wonderful. The person who helped us was nice and friendly. Also patient and let us pace ourselves without feeling rushed. I agree with everyone that it is COLD when you sit down. But, it is fine as soon as you start eating! No need to raise the heat honestly because the heat from fire will help. Or else you'll just be hot and that's not pleasant either. Try this place if you haven't !

Peter D.

Yelp
Came here on a busy weekend night. I been wanting yo try this spot because I seen some good reviews. This place is your typical trendy Korean restaurant. They have a good selection of food from KBBQ to your and ala carte items. The seafood pancake was really good. I wanted to like the KBBQ but it didn't stand out. The meat was average and missing the quality I was expecting. Service was good. The staff were friendly. Only downside is they put the meat on the grill pretty quickly and I had to ask them politely to slow it down because we felt rushed. Overall I think this place is okay. I would like to come back and try some different items on the menu. Friendly Tip : Bring a Jacket. This place gets cold depending where you are sitting. I saw multiple people asked to be move because it was too cold.

Emily L.

Yelp
O V E R A L L *Disclaimer - Extremely tough judgement type of review because expectations were set HIGH and was disappointed* I kept raving about 10Butchers (frequented there almost 5-6x in a year) and how it's the best KBBQ place in the bay, and someone made a bold statement that Seorai was better. Today I tried, and it was not better... not even close in meat quality and service. There was no *wow I am so happy being here* or *wow this meat just melts in my mouth* Because I came in with such a high expectation, I was let down sooo sooo much. If I came with no expectations, this would just be like an average kbbq spot. (When I say average... it's not bad. What I consider below average / baseline kbbq is Gen -- which is the PF Changs of KBBQ) O R D E R (4 people) * Mix Combo ($235) -- 3.5/5 Its decent but not great. With every bite, we all agreed we have had better. The Kimchi stew tasted... odd. I've 100% found better -- I think this was probably the worst kimchi stew I've had. * Seafood pancake ($19) -- 3.75/5 The outside was not crispy enough and inside was ehh. It's not awful, I just expected more. * Seafood Tofu Soup -- I never noted down the price and I didn't try this. I don't expect it tasting any better than the kimchi stew... or if it does, I can't imagine how much better it can taste. S E R V I C E They use a self CALL button... we called 3 times in increments of at least a couple minutes in between hoping to get rice and a drink... we ended up having to wave them down. My boyfriend was not happy at all because we were already over half way done with eating the meat and the rice never showed up. The only time we were able to get their attention immediately was when we wanted to order AND when we paid. Also, there was no cooking service on weekends (this would have atleast improved my experience where the meat quality was lacking). O T H E R Parking lot seems to get full pretty easily. There's a cute boba shop around the corner tho for dessert!

Carlos G.

Yelp
Have been waiting to try this place and did not disappoint. Ordered the beef combo with the seafood pancake and was more than enough food for two people, we even took some to go.

Michelle C.

Yelp
Not entirely sure what's going on with this place. We were looking forward to a great meal. The daejang jigae and soft egg puff thing was great. Banchan was all good as well. Service was also great. We ordered pork belly and beef brisket. Pork belly was fantastic but beef brisket was seriously terrible. There was no marbling or fat in the meat at all. Once it was cooked, you couldn't even chew it. It was like cardboard. We let the server know and the kitchen came back with, "that's how it is!" We have had brisket in many restaurants all over Santa Clara and Koreatown in Los Angeles. That is not how it is. We asked for them to take it back cause it was seriously unacceptable. And then the dinner just ended on a bad note. Pity!

Yelp
Made a reservation a couple weeks before my bday for 1:30. Received a call on my way to the restaurant saying that they close at 2 which would only give us 30 mins to dine. I was not aware they closed at 2. I don't understand why they would even have a 1:30 availability if that was the case. I could not cancel since I was already driving which was about 2 hours away. Even with the very limited time to dine, I did like their food. They were good. Price was reasonable for their portions.

Yelp
A fresh find in the Santa Clara that disappointed in setting, comfort, and food. We wanted to try a new KBBQ place along El Camino and found this place on Yelp. There's a virtual waitlist that we signed up for but were seated within 30mins - reasonable given the estimate was originally over an hour. Inside though, we were shocked at how COLD the dinning area was. Our seats were near the wall and the draft was extra strong. Despite asking to raise the heat, the staff were unable to do anything to help us. This underscored the whole experience as we constantly felt the chilly air around us. Once the meat started cooking, the cold did not go away. Service was fast and attentive once we ordered though. The staff were friendly otherwise as they refilled our orders and even cooked for us! The food was another story though - we got the combo beef set for $138 and were thoroughly disappointed with over half the cuts. The brisket and flank were dry and tough, perhaps a bit of both the quality and overcooking of them. They also did not give nearly enough sauces to make up for the lack of moisture and flavor. The marinated galbi, though, was much better. Definitely the highlight of the team. Overall, there are much better places in the Santa Clara/El Camino Korean scene. Maybe if we had gone when it was warmer we would not have frozen ourselves :)

Yelp
My fiancé and I have came here around 3-4 times by now and every time it's always consistent and never fails. The customer service is out of this world. Very nice and kind staff, always checking up on you, they cook the meat if desired. Will always be a returning customer. Now onto the main reason why were here, my fiancé and I got the beef combo coming with (Beef Brisket, Chuck Flap, and marinated Galbi pieces as well as your choice of soy bean soup or kimchi stew. We always choose the kimchi stew since it's always good especially on a cold day) the food here is immaculate, at other KBBQ spots, the meat is usually frozen then bought to you, here the meat is fresh and very tasteful unlike, other places where it's AYCE but you have to drench your meat in sauce for it to taste good. Here the meat melts in your mouth, very flavorful and tasteful. My fiancé loves the rice cakes here! Very flavorful and so delicious! It is unfortunately not AYCE but that isn't a bad thing here because whatever you get you will get full because the portions are huge! It's a bit pricy but if you can afford to come here you'll most definitely want to come again! I love the setting of the place, usually very busy with a lot of foot traffic and very minimal parking on the weekends but lucky for my fiancé and I, they are open until 12am Sunday-Thursday and til 1am Friday and Saturday. We got there around 10:30pm and the staff was very welcoming, felt like we were going into our home. Will always be a returning customer to this establishment.

Yelp
This is the second time I came here and both occasions have been phenomenal. The service is literally on point - food comes out in a timely manner, the servers cook for you as well so that's a bonus. Both occasions, we ordered the pork combo with the potato fries. The portion is huge so expect leftovers or come very hungry! The price is definitely reasonable for the quality of the food and service they provide here. Hands down, one of my favorite restaurants!

Yelp
After being turned away at baekjeong, I had just the place in my bookmarks to go to instead. It's not ACYE, but for the quality meats you get it's worth. The marinated long ribs was so soft and tender, the brisket was 10/10, pork jowl and pork belly was 10/10. The staff cooks for you which is nice to ensure that every piece is cooked perfectly. The banchan was great and plenty. My friends said the soju cocktail tasted artificial so maybe pass on that and get the plain soju instead. Service was quick and efficient. They played rnb, kpop and hip hop inside and fortunately the AC wasn't too cold. This spot is in the same plaza with the big mug coffee roasting and dollar tree, you can't miss it! This place is also open later till 12am which is nice

Yelp
Great ambience. We got the Mix Combo which was more than enough food for 6 of us. The seafood pancake was crispy on the outside and really tasty. Loved the variety of ban chan. Someone helps grill the meat for you. The best part was the marinated seorai long ribs which melt in your mouth. The pork was a little bit tough but all the beef items were really good. The soup that came with our meal was well seasoned and delicious. Great place to hang out with a group of friends. Best part is you don't reek of the BBQ smell afterwards.

Yelp
We got the Beef Combo which came with Beef brisket, chuck flap, and galbi. It was a generous amount, flavorful and great quality meat. Loved it! We'll be coming back

Yelp
One of my favorite kbbq place but it is wayy too pricey! We got the mix combo ($235) which comes with beef brisket, beef belly, pork jowl, marinated galbi pieces, and pork belly. We also ordered seafood pancake and the 10z boneless short rib ($65). They provide you with a decent number of banchan which includes my two favorites (fish cake and bean sprouts)! Service was good and I didn't expect them to cook it for you so it was nice! The presentation of all the meats was great, you could tell the quality of the meat is good. All the meat was flavorful and tender, delicious! The sauce pairing was good too but I prefer to eat mine without sauce. Overall, the food and service was good but it was just way too expensive. We would definitely come back again but may not be our first option for korean bbq.

Yelp
I had yet to find a good mid-$$$ range (yes, still $$$) KBBQ in South Bay until Seorai. It's got a clean, modern look, off-the-menu ordering with a variety of meat party options as well as a smattering of quite delicious side dishes (think fluffy eggs). They've got the button to ring for service which is always preferred over trying to wave down staff and decent table side service that includes occasional assistance with cooking your meats. Notably it's a sister restaurant of the $$$$ Chungdam KBBQ. Parking's fairly easy with its decent sized lot with a couple dessert options (should the stomach allow) post-hoc. Resos are easy to get and can accommodate large parties. We had 11 and could've easily fit 14. Also, they're open to BYO-cake should you desire. Now the food...my one gripe is the lack of rice paper or perilla/sesame leaves for wrapping, but that pink refreshing radish wrap does the trick. - seafood pancake - always a must. 2 will suffice for 9 folks. 1 for seven folks. - egg souffle - another must. Fluffy goodness. 1-2 for crew of 9. - mix combo $235 plus a pork combo $110 was sufficient to feed a male-dominated lunch crew of 9. - some of these combos come with a side so look carefully (eg soondubu or kimchi stew). - tteokbokki - rice cakes were all right. Neither here nor there to order separately - AYCE side dishes (banchan). Get those refills going. Will be back.

Yelp
I came here with a few friends on a Tuesday night and there was plenty of open seating. We got the watermelon soju cocktail, the beef combo, corn cheese and kimchi fried rice. The total came out to be around $80 per person split between 3 people. Watermelon soju cocktail 3/5: this was just okay. I love the presentation but the taste of the drink itself was not that great. Corn cheese 3/5: pretty standard but nothing special Kimchi fried rice 4/5: this was the best thing we got. It came with a fried egg on top and it paired well with the bbq meat. Beef combo 3/5: we opted for kimchi stew and that was good. The meat quality was just okay for the price. I've definitely had better elsewhere. For the price, I didn't think the quality and taste were up to par.

Yelp
4.5 stars service - Service was great. Servers cook the meats in front of you here and are very attentive. 2 stars food - saw pictures on yelp of the brisket beforehand and should have known. Brisket was super dry, looks slightly marbled but overall dry and tough. (Also forgot to add butter onto it, but our fault for not reminding the server.) Galbijim is on the sweeter side compared to other places, however, very tender meat. Got tired of it fast. Banchan was amazing. Overall: 3.25/5

Yelp
Unlike other KBBQ places, the servers cook the meats for you! Perfect for those who don't want to cook for the night but are craving KBBQ. My group of 3 came in on a Wednesday and we were seated immediately with our reservation at 6 PM. I recommend booking a reservation on Yelp if you have a large party or want to get a table fairly quick! We ordered the Beef Combo, this came with Beef Brisket, Chuck Flap, and Marinated Galbi pieces, tofu soup + sides. The meats were pretty good and standard, my favorite is the marinated galbi pieces. Seorai also provides a bunch of different sides. My favorite was the kimchi and the white daikon wraps. Both were so refreshing and crunchy! It paired really well with the meats. We also ordered a Blood Orange Margarita, which came in a cute mason jar! I do want to preface that the Margarita has a STRONG soju taste. Service is good and attentive since they are with our table while cooking the meats. Similar to other reviews, they did forget a few of the things we ordered (our margarita) and we had to remind/ask if we were still receiving it. We didn't receive our cocktail until 2/3's into our meal.

Yelp
We went to Seorai for a birthday. (No, they don't do anything special for birthdays.) The service was really good. They were fast and attentive. There's also a call button on the table. For a party of 6, we ordered the corn cheese, beef combo, & the seafood ramen. The meats in my opinion weren't anything special and was definitely on the pricier side. You definitely need to eat the first 2 meats w/ sauce since there wasn't much flavor. The last meat we got was marinated & they changed the type of grill so we were able to get that smoky flavor. It was a nice experience for what it was but for people that can eat, expect to pay.

Yelp
Went to Seorai with a party of 12 and was able to make reservations for our large party about a week in advance! The meat quality here is amazing and you definitely get what you pay for! It's definitely not cheap, but it was a really great experience. Service was great and the restaurant is very clean! We will be back for sure!

Yelp
My husband and I have been dining at Seorai about once every few months. Although it is a bit pricey, we think the meat quality is very good and they have some of the best banchan! Between the two of us, we normally order one meat, another entree (recommend the spicy rice cakes as it's huge and very tasty or the seafood pancake) and the garlic fries. Service is very friendly they cook for you. We usually ask for extra of certain banchan before we even get our food and they don't hesitate and aren't stingy with it! We normally come around 9pm when there isn't a long wait. Parking around this time is also easy to find. Highly recommend for late night eats! Restroom is also very clean.

Yelp
I definitely like the aesthetic and the vibes here. I enjoyed the music and the modern atmosphere. I think the service could have been better. They forgot a couple of items such as the watermelon soju cocktail and the cheese dip in which we would have to remind them. The side dishes weren't that special. I only liked the jap chae and their fish cakes. I enjoyed the corn cheese and the meats were not bad. My favorite one was the Marinated Long Rib. The watermelon soju cocktail tasted okay. I wasn't into the cheese dip because the cheese tasted sweet and like cinnamon.

Yelp
My sisters and I really enjoyed this place! It's not all you can eat, but the quality of the meat was so good! There wasn't a long wait. We were actually seated very quickly. Everything we ordered tasted amazing! We ordered the short ribs, pork jowl, and brisket. We also got the spicy cold noodles! Definitely hit the spot. The best was definitely the short ribs. The service was great, and the staff was very attentive! Pretty spacious inside! I would definitely come back.
