I visited a restaurant called Seoryeong to try their Pyongyang-style cold noodles.
We ordered two servings of Seoryeong cold noodles, two portions of bulgogi, and a bottle of soju, which totaled approximately 100,000 KRW or more.
The Seoryeong cold noodles were mild and clean in flavor, allowing us to fully enjoy the rich taste of the broth. The broth paired exceptionally well with the soju. The bulgogi was well-marinated, tender, and delicious, making it a perfect match with the cold noodles.
Most importantly, the side dishes that came with the cold noodles were incredibly neat, clean, and made with fresh ingredients. Throughout the meal, I kept feeling that the quality of the food was well worth the price, and I felt grateful for the experience.
If I have the chance, I’d love to visit again with good friends or family. However, one downside is that you may need to wait for your turn upon arrival, which can be a bit tiring so trying to avoid busy hours(peak lunch and dinner time) is recommended.
Highly recommended.
