My son and I love shopping here. Cute little store. Clean. Unique selection of fresh food and frozen. They also carry a small selection of cooking utensils and other fun items. The service is always friendly.

Awesome little store with all the basics you might need to complete one of your recipes. From dry and fresh noodles to marinades, seasonings, wrappers and dumplings they have it all. The staff is friendly and helpful. They even had a small selection of mochi!!!! Come check out this quaint little Asian market and find so many delicious items!

Lots of great products for good price. Typically I wild drive down to Mira Mar H Mart but when I can’t make the drive, this shop has most everything I need. Great side dishes along with great sliced beef for bur gogi.

Michael Loney

Google
We picked up a few things here upon our return from Vietnam. Nice selection for a small market.

Dawn Bright

Google
Small store but they have all the Korean ingredients you may need and some other Asian products. It would have been 5 stars if not for the cashiers/owners’ attitude. They wouldn’t greet you, nor ask if you need help or even smile.

Google
Finally found the noodles I need to make Chapaguri. Also got kimchi, tofu and fresh mushroom to make kimchi - tofu soup. Prices aren't the best around but they have what you need for Korean food, for sure. Clean and friendly service.

One time, a shopkeeper came running after me, because I left my wallet in the store. Everyone is very helpful and friendly. I love this little shop.

Chris

Google
Good spot if you are trying to buy Korean products without having to drive all the way to SD or LA for H-Mart. They have good quality products and very friendly.

Yelp
Seoul Asian Market Small Store, Big Selections! Wow! Don't let the size fool you. This tiny shop is packed with Korean and Asian goodness! I stopped by while waiting for my mom's surgery nearby, hoping to be a little adventurous and I'm so glad I did. They've got a great selection of snacks, seasonings I love, and most importantly, authentic frozen Korean foods you don't often find elsewhere. The customer service was warm and welcoming, making the experience even better. Thank you for the awesome food and kind vibes I'll definitely be back!

Yelp
Been shopping here since they opened and it's always pleasant. The market is clean inside and they have good selection of goods. The owners are always so nice and friendly. Some Korean meats and side dishes are a little bit more pricey than other markets but it's worth it I think because they're good. Will continue to shop here.

Yelp
This Asian market sells mostly Korean products. It's right off of Murrieta Hot Springs beside the Alberto's taco shop. They have some ready-made banchan like the green seaweed, kimchi, pickled cucumbers, fish cake, and bean sprouts. They also sell frozen thin sliced brisket if you're feeling like kbbq. They also have kimbap on Saturdays (yay!). There are also some filipino products/ingredients here. They have many different choices of the Buldak noodles. I personally love the black package... it's the hottest one, but no worries, it only takes 12 minutes for the heat to go away, lol! *Tip: They're closed Sundays. *Tip: Any transactions below $10, they'll add a $0.50 cent charge if you're paying w card. Service is so-so... they don't greet you when you come in, and they don't even talk to you really when you're checking out, but that's to be expected w Asian establishments, lol!! *PSA: Take note, CJ Brand kbbq sauce is the best and only one you should be buying! I've tried many kbbq sauce for bulgogi or kalbi ribs, and CJ Brand is the winner!! Trust!! This is the only kbbq sauce brand that matters, ok! You're welcome!!

Yelp
I wanted to buy EVERYTHING!!! This store has all the good stuff, from fresh meats,Veggies and lots of noodle varieties! Tonight my boyfriend and I were craving Buldak noodles, we bought rice cakes, spicy wontons,Enoki mushrooms (my faves) other type of noodles, Kimchi and a calpico drink. The store was nice and clean and everything was well organized. The guy at the register was super cool and at the end of our shopping he gave us a nice calendar for 2024. I'll for sure be coming back here again. I need to get more stuff lol

Yelp
Nice and clean local Asian market. Small but carries many popular Asian brand foods like noodles, rice, ingredients, condiment, veggies, and snacks. For Korean BBQ, this place has a good amount of things to cover that (frozen meat to grill, kimchi, fish cake, seaweed salad, and etc. Nice owners too.

G D.

Yelp
Love the Korean side dishes there. Always well stocked and well kept. Nice they carry Filipino items as well.

Seijin J.

Yelp
Best naeng myun (냉면) in town. Boolgogi (불고기) was ok a bit too sweet. Good atmosphere and good place to take visitors and guests who is interested in Korean food experience

Sherlene D.

Yelp
The discrimination and rudeness in how I was treated upon entering this small store is beyond what I would have expected . Someone clearly needs to learn common courtesy and respect especially to customers. I walked into this store with my service dog . I understand my ES dog is not protected under ADA but there were no signs at the door that ES dogs were not allowed. The owner asked me for proof of my service animal . I don't have any proof on me . He rudely pointed to the door and said out you go! Mind you I was not at all rude to this gentleman. All I could say was that ok I'm no longer shopping in this store again. I get it business maybe hard right now , but one way of not getting business is being rude to a respectable customer. My first impression of this store is I do not recommend anyone shopping here unless you want to be treated badly. Give respect and get respect and maybe you'll see a difference in your business producing more .

Yelp
Yaaaaaaas!!! Love seafood and fresh crab legs but bad bad bad customer service. I couldn't even pay I had to ask someone and they act like I was there to be as a EBT customer.

Yelp
I used to live in between a Zion Market and H-Mart but after moving to North County San Diego, I really missed being near a Korean market. I happened to come across Seoul Asian Market and it's my new favorite Asian market. If you're from LA and are a fan of family owned markets, then you know they always have the freshest produce, highest quality ingredients, and best snack selection. Yes, it's a small "hole in the wall" market so you're not going to get the same selection and variety as the larger chain stores but I guarantee you'll find everything you need if you're trying to make authentic Korean food or just want to try something new.
google avatar

Angie J.

Yelp
This is such a cute little market in murrietta they have a bunch of Asian food necessities here I love that. I came for the sides for our Korean bbq night at home all were tasty. My kiddos love looking at all the fun stuff they have reminds me of going to the Asian marts with my mom as a kid. Glad they are here for they a easy to get too and I'll be back for more.

Yelp
Super friendly but shy (I'm guessing family?) staff, selling a really useful selection of Korean/Japanese/Filipino products. Fridge with prepared banchan and fresh Asian veggies, freezers full of stuff like frozen bulgogi, Korean hot dogs and noodles and dumplings of all sorts. We go once or twice a month just to stock up on toppoki and mandu alone. Super glad they're part of the community, we hope they prosper and stick around :)

Lisa M.

Yelp
A lot of authentic Korean foods and ingredients that you can't find anywhere near here except for LA.

Gabby A.

Yelp
My mom loves Korean tofu soup and wanted to come here for soft tofu and vegetables for it--Seoul Asian Market is clean and it's easy to find what you need. I'd come here for dried ingredients (mushrooms, red dates) as well.

Jeremy W.

Yelp
Good Asian food and not too expensive and close to the freeway in Marietta, California

Fatima H.

Yelp
Surprised to find Great selection of Asian goodies from condiments, frozen food, to fresh produce. For those looking for Asian kitchenware, they carry a good amount of items here. The place is well organized and clean.
google avatar

Kieth C.

Yelp
This place has no customer service at all. Maybe they think they are ONLY korean market in this area. I hope either Zion, Hmart, or Hannam chain come to this area so they can learn whats the customer service is.
google avatar

Steven P.

Yelp
Found just what I was looking for so o could make my meal just like I see on the Korean dramas lol

Yelp
Small Korean market in Murrieta. If you're looking for Korean cuisine, you will get everything here.

Yelp
Gave her a $20 she typed $10 in the register and stole $10 from me, never again you lost my business! Prices are way higher then 88 Ranch, and they don't steal from customers.

Yelp
I came in today looking for a few things, walked in and the male employee in front looks at me and doesn't even acknowledge me. I'm walking around the store with an arm full of stuff after 5 minutes another female employee approaches me and tells me about the mask mandate. Asked if she had a disposable one I could have, she said no. So I hand her my stuff and told her I would be right back, it's hard to keep track with which places make you have to wear a mask and which ones don't require it or just don't care. I normally wear one to be courteous and follow rules, but I completely forgot this time as I was just running in and out. When I came back, she proceeded to follow me around like I was a thief. The next person that came in, looked like a vendor who wore her mask under her nose, so I guess you don't even have to wear one properly. They have a HUGE lack of any Japanese foods, vegetables, or frozen items which is extremely disappointing as there aren't much Asian markets to shop at. Also don't forget, they are closed on Sundays and will charge you a 50 cent transaction fee if your transaction is under $10 and you use a card. I won't be back, I'm not that desperate.

Brittany P.

Yelp
I may come back again. I may come back again Way better than raphls. Cheap I may come back again. I may come back again Way better than raphls. Cheap I am all out of seaweed
google avatar

Melissa F.

Yelp
Great service.. variety of everything! Buldak noodles galore definitely be coming back!

Yuritza G.

Yelp
Besides it being a small store there is hardly anyone that helps with any customer service. They definitely do racial discriminate here as if you are not asian you get treated poorly. If you feel like being racially profiled please come here.

Yelp
The owners are so sweet and they have a good little selection! Love to see Asian culture making an appearance in Murrieta.

Elsy N.

Yelp
Went in today July 19 6:15pm the store doesn't have any sign outside of not allowing a dog! The owner some Asian guy, asked me if my puppy was mine I answer yes! He literally open the door of the store and kicked me out of the store. He was very rude I went there because my daughter loves to shop their food. But in reality I don't need to be at those places. Very rude person, and very discriminatory to an animal that is more clean than he is. Wow unbelievable that in these days you meet people that act like that, if you love dogs and love animals don't come to this store!!

Yelp
For was many years as I have driven by this little market, I never stopped inside fearing it would be like so many typical Mom and Pop stores that have visited that have very little stock selection, are dirty and messy, and really over-priced. Well, I was wrong about this store. I stepped inside to see a well kept, clean and tidy store with well stocked shelves with current (not expired, dented, damaged) food items. I was so ecstatic to find blocks of pre-packaged tofu. For some reason, I must've missed the memo advising that tofu was sold out at every store I went to before arriving here: Von's, 88 Ranch, Target, Winco, Food 4 Less. I grabbed my block of tofu and some other Asian pantry staples and made some mental notes of other items to purchase here in the future. I found the prices on some of the items I just purchased at 88 Ranch to be a bit cheaper here instead: My wife & I will always try to support a local, Mom & Pop owned business whom appreciates their customer's patronage before a business who prefers to profits over customer service/loyalty. Besides, this place does not have reviews mentioning recent price gouging like another local Asian grocery store has. I will definitely be shopping here on a regular basis.

Lauren B.

Yelp
This place offers a variety of Asian food, especially Korean food, at affordable prices. The staff is friendly, and the store is always clean.

Yelp
Pure disappointment. Came here hoping for a good asian market to shop from as we just moved to Murrieta from San Gabriel Valley area. The store is extremely small and selection on items are very limited. They carry maybe 3 produce items. I remember only seeing yellow onions, apples, and mushrooms. A lot of their frozen/refrigerated items are overpriced. The price is doubled if not tripled on some items which I didn't find worth it. We ended up only purchasing 2 items. 6pc Mozzarella fish sticks and 8pc pork shumai and I paid $16. Otherwise, parking lot had plenty of parking but could be due to COVID as not many shops are open at this time. It's right next to albertos mexican food as we had completely missed it when we entered the plaza. Didn't really interact with the employees much but seems like there are 2 people working. One lady was at the register and saw us waiting to get rung up for our items and completely walked away until the other gentleman noticed us standing there.

Yelp
Small Asian supermarket with a decent selection of items. I came in mostly just to check it out. I was pretty impressed with their ramen selection. It is not the most healthy item in the world to eat but when your hungry and do not feel like cooking, going out, or ordering delivery, it is a quick filling meal. Also, with the current situation, it is good to have some in stock around the house if unable to go out.
google avatar

Liv L.

Yelp
It's a small shop but they have pretty decent selections of Asian goods and other necessities for cooking Asian food, and it's very convenient in my location.

Yelp
Perfect little Korean Place right next to my house. They dont have everything but they have enough! As a Korean Native, I strongly reccomend this place.

Monique F.

Yelp
Terrible customer service if you aren't Asian. Asked for help on where something was and she just pointed. She was very friendly and cracking jokes with the Asian couple checking out before us. Wishing them a happy thanksgiving and when we get to check out SILENCE. Not even a thank you or a have a nice day. I WILL NEVER COME BACK TO THIS STORE. I will take my money elsewhere. And to the owners, you guys should be thankful to all customers because at the end of the day you are open because of them.

Sam L.

Yelp
Good !! Recommended if you want to buy real Korean ingredients . Specially, if you want to make real Korean Kimchi , best place to got cabbage and radish!!!
google avatar

Blanche C.

Yelp
Fair selection of products. They had the broom I've been on the hunt for! Kinda of friendly. But that was unimportant for this experience. Lol
google avatar

Yelp
When Ralph's closed down, years ago, this store became our go to, for last minute items. Thankfully, it's closer than Stater Bros., and usually very nicely stocked with the goods, we need. I love their fresh peeled garlic, onions, green onions, and KimChee. There's a package of Ramen Noodles that our Grandkids love, love love. It's the gold package called GOM-TANG. Absolutely the best! The cashier is always pleasant and happy to talk to you. This store, while not as big as 88 Ranch or Pacific Island market in Temecula, is our small town supplier and I am happy to do business with them. Imagine them gone?! We would have to drive to temecula and I try not to drive to another city as I try to keep my money local. 5 STARS for these fine folks!

Makayla M.

Yelp
Great service! Very kind check out lady. They had lots of options all which I was tempted to get. Cute little shop will likely return.

Nicole G.

Yelp
Lovely little Korean market. This is the size of a small convenience store (such as 7-11) not a grocery store, tucked in the shopping center next to Alberto's. The selection of items they keep is well stocked and organized. It's very clean and the staff is always kind and friendly and willing to make recommendations. Mainly Korean, with select Japanese, Filipino, and other Asian items, with a tiny selection of produce, meat/seafood, but always fresh and good quality - most items are packed, weighed, and labeled). We love coming here as a place to buy a quick dinner- thinly sliced beef for gyudon and baby bok choy for a side. Even if you are seeking convenience food - could buy packaged ramen such as Sapporo Ichiban, but they also sell frozen ramen noodles and Tonkotsu soup base for even better flavors in the same amount of time. I have been disappointed since moving here and not being close to any Korean or Japanese markets - so happy we found this little gem!

Yelp
I live in Menifee and there is only 1 small Asian grocery store. When I don't feel like driving to Temecula, I come here to Seoul Asian Market. They have other Asian items that are essential to Filipino and Thai cuisine. The prices are reasonable. I often come here to get the meat and bonchon for kbbq, snacks, and produce, primarily lemongrass and mint. You're always greeted upon entering and exiting. It's nice to have this Asian grocery store around.
google avatar

Janice P.

Yelp
Prices are a little high, but they have basically everything you need. I was upset because I drove down there because yelp says they are open on Sundays and they're not!
google avatar

Sean B.

Yelp
Korean food is comfort food to me. The fact that I live close to this establishment alone brings me joy. Seoul market is a small family owned Korean marketplace with all the essentials for a Korean household or at least for someone who wants to experience a small part of what it is to enjoy asian goods. My personal favorites are their assortments of kimchi, variety of asian snacks, ice creams and condiments. The owner is the sweetest lady, always greeting everyone with a smile and asking if anyone needs any assistance. I highly recommend this establishment because I love supporting small businesses and they have everything I need to satisfy my cravings :). I attached a photo of the Korean Army soup we got to make with the ingredients from here.
google avatar

Maria N.

Yelp
Helpful owners who take pride in their store. I felt safe (cleanly) and comfortable to ask questions as needed. Great selection of a variety of Asian foods. Was able to find everything I needed for my KBBQ at home night, and then some. Prices are slightly high, but I don't mind supporting wonderful, small businesses
google avatar

Aldo G.

Yelp
This is a small market but it's well stocked and the owners are friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this store if you're in need of Korean ingredients.
google avatar

Yelp
Living in the IE area, korean food can be hard to come by. I usually have to trekk down to Irvine or Diamond bar to stock on groceries. A friend recommended Seoul Asian Market saying they offer a decent array of Korean items. I finally got to check it out last week. It's in the corner of a shopping plaza and immediately before even walking in, we were greeted very nicely by the manager. The overall interior is clean but there shelves could use a little sprucing up. They have a good selection of sauces, rice, dried foods etc. I feel like the price is about $1-$2 higher than OC markets. I was impressed they had homemade dumplings for sale in the freezer. Some good things to stock up here are the ramen, tofu and some of the fresh food items. They also store cabbage and radish in the back (ask the manager). They also sell Mr Oh's prepackaged kimchee which is the best tasting kimchee. I usually prefer to buy fresh meat, but most of their korean meats were all frozen. Overall, it's a good spot for little items when I'm in a pinch, but I think I'll still head to Irvine for korean groceries.
google avatar

Terry K.

Yelp
Had what we needed the larger stores did not. Great small market for the old in and out. The parking lot is a little small but set up so it is easy to get back on MHS to go any direction.

Erick B.

Yelp
Has everything you need from an Asian store. Came to buy ingredients for hot pot and didn't have to go anywhere else. The lady was very nice and helpful as well.
google avatar

Chieko S.

Yelp
Tiny little Asian store you can run to for a quick shopping for Asian groceries but things are a bit pricy there. I don't recommend strongly, if you have time, go to 88 ranch instead.
google avatar

Joni S.

Yelp
As the name entails, this is more Korean than a general Asian market. But they do have the essentials from other Asian foods. I recommend you try the mandu. They get it specially made hence the ziploc bags versus a large chain brand. Sometimes they have baked goods out as well. Delicious! As for much of the other offerings. I've only had the kimchi and ramyun. Kimchi is nice without too much of a spiciness. Good flavor. It's very much a ma & pa. Decent location where you can see the storefront from the main road. Parking is okay as well. If you're looking for the basics, then you'll most likely find it here. If it's more specific outside of Korean essentials, then they might not have it. Owners are nice and will answer questions if you're unsure about something.

Sreyraksmey N.

Yelp
I found what I needed here which was great, good selection of stuff, but cashier (possibly owner) seemed very smug. She spoke Korean to the woman in front of me, but didn't greet/acknowledge me or even look at me when I said hello, or thank you after checkout. I mentioned this to my fiancé, & he said he felt the same when he went, which he didn't mention to me previously. I guess you have to be Korean. 1 star for variety in food selection among other things, 1 star for a clean organized store. It's unfortunate that my experience wasn't great.
